  • 웹2.0, RIA(Rich Internet Application)의 발전으로 웹 기반 서비스가 다양해지고 기존의 응용프로그램 역시 웹 기반 인터페이스로 제공되면서 사용자 또한 단순 사용자가 아닌 서비스를 제공하는 컨슈머(Consumer)의 형태가 되었다. 따라서 웹 문서는 더욱 방대해 지고 검색, 분류, 색인 등을 위해서 웹문서의 수집이 새로운 형태로 필요하게 되었다. 그러나 기존의 데이터베이스 사용 방법이나, 문서의 전문을 파일형식으로 저장하는 방법은 웹문서를 이용하여 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공하기에 적합하지 않다. 그러므로 본 연구는 웹 문서를 파싱(Parsing)하여 필요한 부분을 XML파일 형태로 저장하여, 재사용성을 높이는데 초점을 맞추어 HTML을 파싱하고 자동으로 임의의 파일을 수집하는 문서수집기를 구현하게 되었다.

Convergence Control of Moving Object using Opto-Digital Algorithm in the 3D Robot Vision System

  • In this paper, a new target extraction algorithm is proposed, in which the coordinates of target are obtained adaptively by using the difference image information and the optical BPEJTC(binary phase extraction joint transform correlator) with which the target object can be segmented from the input image and background noises are removed in the stereo vision system. First, the proposed algorithm extracts the target object by removing the background noises through the difference image information of the sequential left images and then controlls the pan/tilt and convergence angle of the stereo camera by using the coordinates of the target position obtained from the optical BPEJTC between the extracted target image and the input image. From some experimental results, it is found that the proposed algorithm can extract the target object from the input image with background noises and then, effectively track the target object in real time. Finally, a possibility of implementation of the adaptive stereo object tracking system by using the proposed algorithm is also suggested.

Implementation of 3D Moving Target-Tracking System based on MSE and BPEJTC Algorithms

  • In this paper, a new stereo 3D moving-target tracking system using the MSE (mean square error) and BPEJTC (binary phase extraction joint transform correlator) algorithms is proposed. A moving target is extracted from the sequential input stereo image by applying a region-based MSE algorithm following which, the location coordinates of a moving target in each frame are obtained through correlation between the extracted target image and the input stereo image by using the BPEJTC algorithm. Through several experiments performed with 20 frames of the stereo image pair with $640{\times}480$ pixels, we confirmed that the proposed system is capable of tracking a moving target at a relatively low error ratio of 1.29 % on average at real time.

  • In this paper, through the study of discrete implementation of time delay control (TDC) and PID control algorithm, a new systematic gain selection method for PID controller is proposed. An important advantage of this method is that it may be applied to real systems with very simple and systematic procedure. The proposed method is derived for SISO systems and then extended to MIMO system. Through simulation for the second order non-linear plant and experiment on 2-DOF robot, the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed. The proposed method could solve the problem of difficulty in gain tuning of existing PID controller.

  • In this paper, we demonstrate an autonomous design of motion control of virtual creatures (called animated robots in this paper) and develop modeling software for animated robots. An animated robot can behave autonomously by using its own sensors and controllers on three-dimensional physically modeled environment. The developed software can enable us to execute the simulation of animated robots on physical environment at any time during the modeling process. In order to simulate more realistic world, an approximate fluid environment model with low computational costs is presented. It is shown that a combinatorial use of neural network implementation for controllers and the genetic algorithm (GA) or the particle swarm optimization (PSO) is effective for emerging more realistic autonomous behaviours of animated robots.

  • This thesis proposed a method that connecting step motor to image send board which can acquire image to move and remote controlling via streaming image board of PDA(personal digital assistant) based on embedded Linux which is using wireless network There are three embedded Linux system to embody movable image send board. First, though the wireless network a signal of PDA is transmitted to the board which has embedded Linux and a system which is controlled by the expansion I/O port of the board. Second, it's a system streaming realtime image at a PDA which has embedded Linux. The last is a system which controls a process of image board using TCP/IP communication and image send board at PC. These are the system which can use industrial settings and homes. It can also make use of an embodiment method about travelling image robot.

  • In this paper, we propose the hardware and software of a test-bed of a hovering AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle). Test-bed to develop as the underwater robot for the hovering -type is planning to apply for marine resource development and exploration for deep sea. The RTU that controls a azimuth thruster and a vertical thruster of test-bed is a intergrated-type thruster. The main control unit that collects sensor's data and performs high-speed processing and controls a movement of test-bed is a underwater hybrid navigation system. Also it transfers position, posture, state information of test-bed to the host PC of user using a wireless communication. The host PC checks a test-bed in real time by using a realtime monitoring system that is implemented by LabVIEW.

  • 생명체는 자신을 이루고 있는 단순한 구성 요소들이 적은 수의 근본 규칙들에 의하여 국부적 상호작용을 함으로써 복잡한 생명 현상을 보이고있다 이 연구에서는 생명 현상을 보이고 있는 개체가 많은 수의 단순한 구성 요소들의 집합으로 이루어져 있으며 그러한 구성 요소들이 적은 수의 근본 규칙들에 의하여 서로 국부적인 상호작용을 함으로써 복잡한 행동패턴들을 나타낸다는 가정 아래, 여러 대의 자율이동로봇(autonomous mobile robot)들의 군지능을 나타낼 수 있는 적은 수의 근본 규칙을 찾아내고 찾아진 근본규칙들을 퍼지규칙으로 표현하는 것을 목표로 한다. 각 자율이동로봇은 기능이 매우 제한되어 있으며, 자신만의 독특한 신호를 발생한다. 이 신호를 "heartbeat"이라 부르며 이를 이용하여 대략적으로 자신의 위치와 현재상태를 다른 개체에게 알리는 역할을 한다 이 논문에서는 "heartbeat"을 이용한 로봇간의 통신과 자재반송이라는 군행동을 퍼지시스템으로 구현하고 이를 평가한다.

Gait Implementation using a Kick Action for IWR-III Biped Walking Robot (이족보행로봇의 킥엑션을 이용한 보행 구현)

  • This paper deals with the gait generation of IWR-III using a kick action to have a walking pattern like human. For this, trajectory planning with the consideration of kick action is done in each walking step, and the coordinate transformation is done for simplifying the kinematics. Balancing motion is analyzed by FDM during the walking, By combining 4-types of pre-defined steps, multi-step walking is done. Using numerical simulator, dynamic analysis, ZMP analysis and system stability is confirmed. Walking motion is visualized by 3D- graphic simulator. As a result, trunk ahead motion effect and impactless smooth walking is implemented by experiment. Finally walking with kick action is implemented the IWR-III system.

  • This paper shows the development of remote control system for manipulators which consists of PHANToM Device as a master, Samsung FARA robot as a slave and TCP/IP based LAN fortheir Communication. This work includes the motion mapping between the master and the slave, Generation of virtual viscosity force preventing operator's unwilled action and 3D remote control simulators for the stable operation of the remote control system, etc. The remote control implementation has been performed and the results shows that the developed system can allow the operator to effectively control the manipulator.
