Switched Reluctance 형 비접촉 선형 스테이지를 위한 구동 알고리즘 (A Driving Algorithm for a Switched Reluctance type Contact-Free Linear Stage)

  • Recently in the field of precision positioning device, the contact-free stages are gaining focuses with their outstanding performances by eliminating mechanical frictions. This paper presents the driving algorithm for contact-free linear stage based on switched reluctance principle. The proposed driving algorithm has a similar structure of that of switched reluctance motor but this study has its own originality in terms of reducing the normal farces and force ripple at the same time. The simulation and experiment are executed to verify the proposed algorithm.

  • In all sorts of primary factor which produce torque ripple of d.c brushless motor cogging torque which is generated from relation between permanent magnet rotor and salient pole cannot controled by external control system. So in this paper cogging torque is analysed by simple method in which slot fuctuion is introduced. And for reducing counterplan of cogging torque d.c brushless motor which plot auxiliary slot by inequality interval is proposed. Thus the quantitative torque characteristics of new motor which designed by this method is analysed by F.E.M and validity of this new design is proved.

  • This paper proposes a novel design method for flux barrier which built in q-axis in rotor of IPM type BLDC motor. It aims to reduce the motor vibration with reduced cogging torque and lessened torque ripple by the sinusoidal waveform distribution of flux generated in the permanent magnet, which results from designed flux barriers. Design of flux barrier optimized using the Taguchi methods that considered multiple quality characteristics, such as cogging torque, average torque and efficiency are considered. The result of proposed method is compared and verified with 2D finite element method (FEM).

  • In this paper, A fixed turn-on, variable turn-off control method considering the reference speed and load is shown with verification by using MATLAB Simulink. The proposed method uses simple operation and is suitable to the system of low-cost application and also advantageous for reducing the torque ripple.

  • 매트릭스 컨버터(Matrix Converter:MC)는 기본적으로 9개의 양방향 스위치를 이용한 전력변환장치이다. 입력 전압의 크기에 따라 일정 범위 내의 전압을 합성할 수 있으며, 다이오드 정류기를 이용하는 인버터에 비해 입력전류를 정현파로 만들 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 다수의 스위치를 이용하여 출력전압을 합성하기 때문에 제어가 복잡하다는 단점이 있으나, 반대로 여러 가지 방법으로 전압을 합성할 수 있는 가능성과 회로 구성의 확장 가능성이 크다는 장점도 있다. 본 논문에서는 입력 전압의 순시적인 선간전압을 이용한 새로운 공간 벡터 변조(Space Vector Modulation: SVM)방법을 제안하고, 기존 SVM과 동일한 구현 가능성 및 새로운 유사 멀티레벨(Multi-level) SVM으로의 확장성을 보인다. 유사 멀티레벨 SVM을 사용하였을 경우 출력 전류의 리플이 감소하고 고조파 특성이 개선됨을 Matlab 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

  • Practical controllers of industrial systems are usually designed and realized in continuous time domain. However, due to the programmable and flexible nature of digital computers and the speed and stability superioity of digital components over analog ones, it seems more effective to adapt digital controllers. When an existing analog controller performs satisfactory, it is often advantageous to use the digital redesign techinque to obtain an equlivalent digital controller which substitutes the analog one. One method of the digital redesign is to use a periodic gain. This method gives a riffle effect on the steady state response, although it's transient response is satisfactory. This paper suggests a method which eliminates or deminishes periodic ripples generated by the periodic function.

  • This paper investigates effects of segmented poles on exciting forces such as cogging torque, BEMF, phase current, torque ripple and local forces. Cogging torque, BEMF and local force are determined by FEM analysis and phase current is calculated using voltage equations after determining BEMF and phase inductance. Effective dead zones at pole separations result in wider than the physical dead zones due to leakage field during magnetization. Due to the existence of dead zones, there exist additional exciting harmonics of the cogging torque which play adverse effect on vibration and noise performance. The magnitude of BEMF is decreased and the waveforms are also distorted depending on dead zone positions. Segmented poles inevitably cause uneven magnetic field distribution at pole separations which introduces additional harmonics of exciting forces which are detrimental to structural to structural resonances. They also decrease motor efficiency by reducing effective phase BEMF.

  • This paper presents a flyback technology in power conversion aimed at increasing efficiency and power density, reducing cost and using minimum components in AC-DC conversion. The proposed converter provides these features for square waveforms and constant frequency PWM. It is designed to operate in a wide input voltage range of 75-265VAC RMS with two output voltages of 5V and 20V respectively and full load output power of 5W. The proposed converter is suitable for high efficiency and high power density application such as LCDs, TV power modules, AC adapters, motor control, appliance control, telecom and networking products.

  • Ships have been propelled and maneuvered by electrical drives since trle late seventies. Recently, rare earth PMs allow the design of brushless motors with very high efficiency over a wide speed range. This is the most important factor in ship propulsion technology. Several types PM motors have been developing for ship propulsion system. However these have disadvantage such as cogging torque. It causes an undesired effect that contributes to output ripple, vibration, and noise of machine. Therefore several techniques may be adopted in designing PM motor in order to reduce the cogging torque. This paper describes cogging torque receding methods such as adjusting arigap length, magnet arc, and magnet thickness. That are analysed by using the finite element method(FEM) and the maxwell stress tensor method.

  • As the current shape of SRM is of pulse type and changed by the motor parameters and drive conditions, the influences on the drive efficiency by control method are more than other types of motors. In this paper, a proper excitation condition to drive a SRM with high efficiency is proposed and tested. It is derived from the conditions that the phase current of a SRM is to be flat-topped at various drive. The saturation effect of magnetic circuit is accounted for more accurate analysis. Experimental tests are executed to verify the proposed excitation method. This drive system is easy to commutate and also advantageous in reducing torque ripple. (author). 6 refs., 10 figs., 1 tab.
