유한요소 기법을 활용한 설계검증 및 4M 변경점 관리를 통한 레이더장비 품질 신뢰성 확보에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Verification by Using Finite Elements Method and Quality Improvement of Radar by Managing Change Points of 4M)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of the PGM system by improving the structure and production process of slip-ring rotary joint for radar. Methods: The improvement measures for each cause are established through failure analysis of broken items. Specifically, changing in the housing to improve the heating system. Changing the transportation method to prevent damage to equipment during transport. Changing work process of the attenuator ring to prevent damage. etc. Results: The results of this study are as follows; improving the heating system reduces heat generated by the attenuator by about 7 degrees and obtain additional temperature margins. Reduction of defect rate because of adding X-band rotary joint run-out measurement test, ESS of slip-ring rotary joint and Transportation improvement(reinforced flight boxes, tube protection, etc). Getting stable VSWR values by improving work process of attenuator overheating due to a bad bonding process. Conclusion: Through this study, improvements were made to slip-ring rotary joint that failed repeatedly for various reasons. As a result of the application of the improvements, the same fault does not occur until now, so we can see that the quality of PGM has improved.

선미관 밀봉장치 개발에 관한 연구 (I) - 맆 시일을 중심으로- (A Study on the Development of Ship's Stern Tube Sealing System(I) -Based on Lip Seals-)

  • Lip type stern tube sealing systems have used in almost all the middle or large ships which are being constructed in these days. It seems that the pressure fluctuation of the seal ring interspace, the cross-section profile and the materials quality of the seal rings have great effects on the sealing fuction of this sealing system. In this paper, the mechanical movement of lip seal ring which plays the most important role in stern tube sealing system and the possibility of leakage caused by pressure fluctuation are studied by theory and experiment. Using the finite element method for the axi-symetric object which receives the torsional load, the displacement and stress analysis of the seal rings, and also the possibility of crack occurance is checked by theoretical analysis. If the force which seal ring lip periphery receives is too small, there will be the possibility of leakage caused by the pressure fluctuation of the seal ring interspace, and if this force is too large, the frictional force between the seal ring and the liner will become problematical. The possibility of leakage caused by hardening of seal ring materials and creep phenomena of tested seal rings are also examined. The trial seal rings were designed and manufactured using the program of displacement and stress analysis developed in this study and the experimental apparatus to test the trial seal rings was also designed and manufactured. This trial seal rings were fitted in the experimental apparatus which was made in the same form as an actual stern tube. The one side of this apparatus was filled with sea water and the other side of it was filled with the lubricating oil. The leakage of oil and sea water was checked and the temperature was measured, rotating the propeller shaft at the constant velocity by D.C. motor. It was proved that the trial seal rings made in Viton rubber functioned excellenty but the trial seal rings made in N.B.R. rubber had problem in its durability.

R.P.I.(ring pin implant)를 응용한 치아의 재식과 이식 (Transplantation and Replantation Using R.P.I.(ring pin implant))

  • No one really doubts that the hottest area of dentistry in 21st century would most likely be 'implant'. With the support of a vast amount of research, implant has been successfully and rapidly absorbed into the field of general dentistry including private practitioners. For teeth with hopeless(or refractory) periodontitis or periapical pathosis, with no hesitation most dentists would think extraction as the sole treatment option followed by prosthodontic replacement possibly including implant. Not many dentists would take Trasplantation/Replantation as another treatment option for a particular condition. Dentistry is often more focused on 'Restoration' than 'Preservation' of natural dentition. 'Biologic Implant' is obviously much closer to the concept of 'Preservation'. Many different types of biologic implant system have been introduced to clinical dentistry so far. Many of those have failed to earn reasonable acknowledgement despite of the clinical success they brought. For some reason biologic implant has rather been alienated for long time. RPI(Ring Pin Implant) is designed to improve the prognosis and success rate of transplanted/replanted teeth. RPI is a Ti-based custom made implant system. It is fabricated either by electric casting or milling process. The major feature RPI gas is the 'ring & hole' structure. The hole should be no less than 1mm diameter to allow bone bridge formation thru it. The ring structure and bone bridge formation creates anti-torque activity, which largely increases the 'initial stability' of the transplanted/replanted teeth. It is also reported that RPI is beneficial in the aspect of resisting root resorption following replantation/transplantation procedure.

원형 링 패턴 인식에 기반한 실내용 자세추정 시스템 (An Indoor Pose Estimation System Based on Recognition of Circular Ring Patterns)

  • 본 논문은 원형 링 패턴의 인식에 기반한 물체의 3차원 위치/자세 추정 시스템을 제안한다. 단일 비전 기반의 자세추정 문제를 다루기 위하여, 본 논문은 물체인식 과정의 단순화를 위한 원형 링 패턴의 설계방법을 기술한다. 또한, 본 논문은 2차원 투영공간에서 원형 링 패턴이 가지는 기하학적 변환관계를 적극 활용한 실내용 위치/자세 추정 절차를 상세히 설명한다. 제안된 방법은 쿼드로터형 비행체의 3차원 위치/자세 추정에 적용되며 정확도 및 정밀도 분석을 통해 평가된다.

Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of Extruded Al 7050 Billet and Ring Forged One with Large Scale

  • The manufacturing process of large scaled Al 7050 alloy is difficult for the occurrence of solidification crack during casting. The aims of this study are the evaluations of microstructure and mechanical properties of extruded Al 7050 billet and ring forged one with large scale. Large scaled Al 7050 billet was casted by direct-chill casting process. The extruded and ring forged specimens were prepared from the casted ingot after residual stress relief and homogenization heat treatment, respectively. Microstructures, hardness and tensile test of the surface, middle and center part of each specimen were performed at room temperature. Sheared and elongated type grains were observed at the edge parts of surface and center area and its aspect ratios of grains were low and similar as 0.21 while that of middle area was closed to 0.92 value in ring forged Al 7050 alloy. The mechanical properties of extruded Al 7050 alloy were superior than those of ring forged one. The hardness values of surface and center part were slightly higher than that of middle part in ring forged Al 7050 alloy.

  • [ $0.35{\mu}m$ ]twin-well non-epitaxial CMOS 공정에서의 substrate noise에 의한 아날로그 회로의 성능 저하를 예측하기 위하여 substrate 저항을 모델링하였다. Substrate 저항 모델 방정식은 P+ guard-ring isolation에 적용되어 측정값과 일치함을 확인하였다. Substrate 저항을 네 가지 형태로 구분하고 각각에 대하여 semi-empirical 모델 방정식을 확립하여, 측정값과 비교하여 rms 오차가 10% 미만이 되었다. 이 substrate 저항 모델을 guard-ring에 의한 isolation 구조에 적용하기 위하여 모델 방정식과 ADS(Advanced Design System) 회로 시뮬레이션에 의한 결과와 Network Analyzer의 측정 결과를 비교하였고, 비교적 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.

지상변압기의 내부 보호장비 작동을 위한 MCA 보호협조에 대한 연구 (A study on Protective Coordination of MCA for Performing of the Pad Mounted Transformer's inside Protective Device)

  • KEPCO's plan is undergoing a trial operation to replace the open-loop section with ring main units configuration where underground distribution lines are installed, by linking the multi-way circuit breakers auto (MCA) on the power side of each pad-mounted transformer. However, ring main units application mentioned above may cause the ripple effects, when implementing the configuration without a study of protection coordination. Because ring main units with classical pre-set protection devices contribution in fault condition didn't consider yet. For the reliable ring main units operation, it is necessary to resolve several protection issues such as the protection coordination with substation side, prevention of the transformer inrush current. These issues can radically deteriorate the distribution system reliability Hence, it is essential to design proper protection coordination to reduce these types of problems. This paper presents a scheme of ring main units' configuration and MCA's settings of time-current curves to preserve the performance of protection coordination among the switchgears considering constraints, e.g. prevention of the ripple effects (on the branch section when a transformer failure occurs and the mainline when a branch line failure occurs). It was confirmed that the propagation of the failure for each interrupter segment could be minimized by applying the proposed TCC and the interrupter settings for the MCAs (branch, transformer). Further, it was verified that the undetected area of the distribution automation system (DAS) could be supplemented by having the MCA configurated ring main units operate first, instead of the internal protection equipment in the transformer such as the fuse, STP when a transformer failure occurs.

기만기 적용 고무 O-ring의 온도에 따른 가속수명시험을 통한 수명예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Life-time Prediction for the Rubber O-ring applied to decoy through the Accelerated Life Test)

  • 어뢰회피용 기만기는 수중에서 적 어뢰의 공격으로부터 자함을 보호하는 무기체계로 유사 시 우리 군의 피해를 최소화하기 위해 운용 간 고장없이 정상적으로 임무를 수행하여야 한다. 기만기는 운영 특성 상 내부로 해수가 유입되면 정상적인 임무 수행이 불가하기 때문에 운용환경을 고려하여 외부로부터 해수유입 방지를 위한 완벽한 기밀이 요구된다. 일반적으로 기만기의 수밀성능 확보를 위해 고무재질의 오링을 사용하는데 이러한 고무재질의 제품들은 시간의 경과와 주변 환경의 영향을 받아 노화되어 고무 초기 특성이 상실되어진다. 따라서 요구되는 수밀성능을 유지하기 위해 오링에 대한 정비 또는 교체가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 기만기에 사용되는 오링의 대표적인 물성 지표인 경도와 신장률 값을 기준으로 오링의 가속수명시험 수행을 통한 시험데이터를 바탕으로 적합한 정비주기를 선정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 기만기 수밀성능을 보장하기 위해 사용되는 오링의 재질은 NBR(Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)로써, 선행 연구 자료를 참고하여 주요 고장 환경 인자를 온도로 선정하였으며, 고장의 기준은 대상 제품이 가지는 물성 값 중 경도와 신장률이 초기 대비 50%까지 저하되는 시점으로 선정하였다. 또한 시험에 사용되는 시편 준비 및 물성 값 측정방법은 KS M 6518 규격을 참고하여 진행하였다. 시험결과는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 통해 분석하여 기만기에 적용되는 오링의 수명을 예측하였으며, 이를 통해 오링에 대한 정비주기를 산출하였다.

  • The bubble flow from the wafer surface during plating process was studied in this paper. The plating shape in the opening of photoresist becomes gradated shape in the fountain plating system, because bubbles from the wafer surface are difficult to escape from the deep openings, vias. So, we designed the tilted electrode ring contact to get uniform bump height on all over the wafer and evaluated the film uniformity by SEM and ${\alpha}-step$. In ${\alpha}-step$ measurement, film uniformities in the fountain plating system and the tilted electrode ring contact system were ${\pm}16.6%,\;{\pm}4%$ respectively.

MO Theoretical Studies on the Benzylic and Resonance Shunt Effects

  • The reactions of aniline with benzyl and phenacyl compounds are studied by the AM1 method. Two types of modeling were adopted: Cation-neutral, in which a proton is attached to the leaving group F and anion-neutral model, in which aniline was replaced by phenoxide with Cl as the leaving group. The cation-neutral model represented the reactvery well, reproducing the various solution-phase experimental results. In the benzyl system, the ${\pi}$-electrons of the two rings (X-ring in the nucleophile and Y-ring in the substrate) interact conjugatively in the transition state (TS) resulting in a bond contraction of the $C_{\alpha}-C_{Y1}$ bond (benzylic effect), whereas in the phenacyl system the ${\pi}$ electrons of the X-ring delocalizes more efficiently into the carbonyl group than into the Y-ring (resonance shunt effect) with a bond contraction of the $C_{\alpha}-C_{\beta}$ bond. The bond contraction in the benzylic effect was substantially greater than that in the resonance shunt effect. The TS was rather loose for benzyl while it was tighter for phenacyl system. Various bond length changes with substituents in the TS were, however, found to be irregular.
