모바일 앱 시장이 발달하면서 사용자들이 앱을 사용한 만큼 기부에 참여할 수 있는 새로운 모바일 기부 앱이 등장하였다. 새로운 형태의 모바일 기부 앱은 모바일 앱의 기능과 기부의 시너지 효과를 통해 기부 시장을 활성화할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 차별화된 모바일 앱 서비스를 제공함으로써 모바일 앱 시장을 확장한다는 점에서 중요한 의의를 지닌다. 그럼에도 불구하고 어떠한 종류의 모바일 기부 앱 서비스가 사용자의 사용 의도를 증대시킬지에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 공익연계 마케팅 이론을 바탕으로 어떠한 형태의 모바일 기부 앱이 사용 의도에 더 큰 영향을 미치는지를 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 직접적 혹은 간접적 모바일 기부 앱이 지각된 효과성과 공익 관여도를 매개로 하여 모바일 기부 앱 사용 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 실험을 모바일 앱 사용자들을 대상으로 실시하였다. 분산분석 결과, 간접적 모바일 기부 앱이 직접적 모바일 기부 앱보다 지각된 효과성과 공익 관여도에 더 높은 영향을 미치며 PLS 경로 분석을 통하여 지각된 효과성과 공익 관여도가 높을수록 모바일 기부 앱 사용 의도를 높아진다는 사실을 확인하였다. 추가연구에서는 간접적 모바일 기부 앱의 실용적, 쾌락적 속성이 지각된 효과성과 공익 관여도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 실험을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 실용적 속성이 더 많은 영향을 준다는 사실을 일원분산분석을 통하여 입증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 모바일 기부 앱 활성화를 위해 실증적인 디자인 가이드라인을 제공해줄 수 있을 것이다.

OLED commercialization has been led in mobile market by Samsung since 2007, but more suppliers in Korea, China and Japan are joining the market. However, there remain some challenges in expanding its application to large size TV and flexible displays, especially in competition with dominant LCD products. This talk will discuss future prospects of the OLED technology after brief review of the progress.

This study aims to analyze users' assessment of electronic libraries in the mobile app market and promote service improvement based on this. To this end, the basic background and purpose of the research, research method, and research scope were first set, and the relevant literature and empirical prior studies were analyzed. Next, users' evaluations of electronic libraries were collected and analyzed from Google Play Store. Based on the results analyzed, measures to improve the quality of electronic libraries were discussed. Based on the results of the study, the following improvement measures are proposed. Need for systemic improvement and stabilization. Provision of applications suitable for multi-device environments. Resumption of services after systematic inspection after updating. Simplification of sign up, log in, and authentication procedures. User support through real-time chat. Introduction of a detailed assessment of reviews. Provision of guidance and user manual for electronic libraries. Improvements to expand user convenience, and Securing differentiation from other similar services.

Recent studies have focused on self-management of hypertension using smart devices (cellular phones, tablets, watches). It has proven to be an effective tool for early detection and control of high Blood Pressure (BP) without affecting patients' daily routines. This systematic review surveys the existing self-monitoring systems, evaluate their effectiveness and compares the different approaches. We investigated the current systems in terms of various attributes, including methods used, sample size, type of investigation, inputs/ outputs, rate of success in controlling BP, group of users with higher response rate and beneficiaries, acceptability, and adherence to the system. We identified some limitations, shortcomings, and gaps in the research conducted recently studying the impact of mobile technology on managing hypertension. These shortcomings can generate future research opportunities and enable it to become more realistic and adaptive. We recommended including more observable factors and human behaviors that affect BP. Furthermore, we suggested that vital monitoring/logging and medication tuning are insufficient to improve hypertension control. There is also a need to observe and alter patient behavior and lifestyles.

Farming activities are transforming from traditional skill-based agriculture into knowledge-based and technology-driven digital agriculture. The use of intelligent information and communication technology introduces the idea of smart farming that enables farmers to collect weather data, monitor crop growth remotely and detect crop diseases easily. The introduction of Plantix, a pest and disease management tool in the form of a mobile application has allowed farmers to identify pests and diseases of the crop using their mobile devices. Hence, this study collected the reviews of Plantix to explore the response of the users on the Google Play Store towards the application through Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling. Results indicate four latent topics in the reviews: two positive evaluations (compliments, appreciation) and two suggestions (plant options, recommendations). We found the users suggested the application to additional plant options and additional features that might help the farmers with their difficulties. In addition, the application is expected to benefit the farmer more by having an early alert of diseases to farmers and providing various substitutes and a list of components for the remedial measures.

Objectives : This study aims to provide information regarding the status and quality of mobile applications (MAs) using self-acupressure by performing a systematic review. Methods : We conducted comprehensive searching on five international databases and two app markets from inception to July 31, 2022 to identify MAs using self-acupressure. We analyzed the characteristics of each MA regarding the name of the MA, registered app markets, target symptoms, developers, the year and country of development, cost, target age, media function, and expertise. We assessed the quality of each MA using Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS). Results : We identified a total of 30 MAs using self-acupressure (25 MAs from the app market and 6 MAs from clinical studies, with 1 MA in common). 17 out of 24 MAs from the app market provided self-acupressure regimens for various symptoms and the others provided regimens for specific symptoms such as memory, anxiety, depression, asthma, allergy, low back pain, and headache. 14 developers were reported. 23 MAs were developed after 2013. The largest number of MAs were developed in the United States. The target age group of 12 MAs was above the age of 3, and that of 11 MAs was above the age of 12. 14 MAs provided multimedia functions such as videos. 13 MAs provided information of expertise. From clinical studies, only 3 out of 6 MAs were accessible through the app market. 4 MAs were developed by the researchers of the study. In terms of MARS, the score of MAs from the app market was higher than that of MAs from clinical studies in both objective and subjective evaluation areas. Conclusions : This study summarizes the characteristics of MAs using self-acupressure. More MAs using self-acupressure should be developed and further clinical research for MA on each symptom and disease is warranted for the diversification of MA fields using self-acupressure.

The present study applies the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the factors that affect the intention to use the mobile payment services. For this purpose five potential variables (perceived usefulness, perceived convenience, ubiquity, innovativeness, and safety risk) that are expected to affect the intention to use the mobile payment services were selected. An online survey was administered, and 339 questionnaires were analyzed. Structure Equation Model (SEM) Analysis revealed that TAM variables (perceived usefulness and perceived convenience) partially influenced the attitude. The perceived usefulness predicted the attitude while perceived convenience did not predict the attitude toward the mobile payment service. Personal characteristics variable (innovativeness) and mobile nature variables (ubiquity, and security risk) were identified as the predictors of the attitude toward the mobile payment service. While innovativeness and ubiquity affected the attitude positively, security risk affected the attitude negatively. Finally, the analysis substantiated the influence of attitude toward the mobile payment services on the intention to use the services. On the basis of findings, managerial implications and suggestions for further studies were discussed.

With the massive increase in bandwidth for wireless communications, free space optical (FSO) communication has attracted significant interest owing to its outstanding strengths over conventional radio frequency wireless communication such as a wide bandwidth, unlicensed spectrum, low power consumption, small size, electromagnetic interference immunity, long-range propagation, and improved security. In recent years, FSO technology has been studied intensively for use in terrestrial and underwater autonomous and unmanned mobile systems, a rapidly growing application area, including robots, drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, autonomous vehicles, unmanned trains, and unmanned submarines. In this report, we review the recent trends and key technologies for the mobile FSO system, and introduce our drone-based mobile FSO system, which is currently under development.

디지털 기술이 비약적으로 발전하며 이를 의료 분야에 융합하려는 흐름이 심화되고 있는 가운데, 최근 연구들은 실어증 환자 대상 언어재활에 가상현실(VR)과 증강현실(AR) 및 어플리케이션을 활용한 중재를 제안해왔다. 본 연구는 이러한 실어증 환자 대상 디지털 기술 기반 언어재활을 시행한 최근 4년 (2018~2021년) 연구의 특징을 종합하고 향후 연구에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 주제범위 문헌 고찰(scoping review)을 시행하였다. Web of Science, CINAHL, RISS에서 검색된 국내외 문헌 중 선정 기준을 만족한 총 20개의 논문을 검토한 결과, 디지털 기술을 이용하여 재활 훈련 콘텐츠에 게이미피케이션(gamification), 환자 맞춤형 개인화 등을 적용하거나 가상 의사소통 환경을 구현하여 재활 훈련을 돕는 등 새로운 형식의 재활 콘텐츠가 다양한 방식으로 시도되고 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 디지털 기술 기반 언어재활은 기존 언어재활의 한계점을 보완할 수 있는 새로운 방식의 재활 훈련 콘텐츠를 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구의 목적은 장애인과 가족이 생활전반에서 오는 문제를 자발적으로 해결하기 위한 도구로서 모바일 상담(MDFC) 프로그램을 설계하고 개발하여 효과를 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 교육 프로그램의 설계모형(ADDIE)을 기반으로 상담 프로그램을 설계하고 개발하였다. 프로그램 내용은 장애인과 가족의 요구조사 내용과 상담 프로그램의 선행연구에서 추출하여 구성하였다. 개발된 상담 프로그램의 특징은 첫째, 장애인과 가족이 언제 어디서나 상담 프로그램에 자발적으로 참여하여 현실적인 문제나 내재화된 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 둘째, 개발된 상담 프로그램의 채팅상담은 내담자의 시간과 채팅 프로그램 선택의 자율성이 주어진다. 셋째, 개발된 상담 프로그램은 상담자의 온라인 심리검사 추천과 연계로 모바일 상담에서도 내담자의 객관적인 자료 확인이 가능하다. 또한 개발된 상담 프로그램의 효과는 내용구성, 상담절차, 고민해결, 사용설명서, 추천, 정보수집의 만족도가 높았고 상담만족도, 상담접근성은 매우 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 모바일 상담 프로그램의 발전방안을 제안하는데 있다.
