The utilization of resonance should be considered to get the maximum effect of ultrasonic to atomize liquid. The ultrasonic generator, transducer, horn, and all attached parts are used to produce the resonance, and specially the characteristics of liquids such as liquid load, property, and etc., for the liquid atomization affinity are considered. In this study, the variable device of liquid load was made and distilled water and city water selected as experimental liquids were sprayed by a twin-fluid spray method and their diameters, distributions, and spray quantum of spray droplets were measured by the light scattering system. And all data were observed, compared and considered relatively. In results, a lot of phenomena of liquid atomization affinity by ultrasonic appeared in accordance with liquid loads, namely head h.
Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the chemicals used in monomer epoxy resins and polycarbonate plastics. The surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) method is precise for identifying biological materials and chemicals at considerably low concentrations. In the present article, the substrates coated with gold nanoparticles have been studied to identify BPA and control the diseases caused by this chemical. Gold nanoparticles were made by a simple chemical method and by applying gold salt and trisodium citrate dihydrate reductant and were coated on glass substrates by a spin-coat approach. Finally, using these SERS substrates as plasmonic sensors and Raman spectroscopy, the Raman signal enhancement of molecular vibrations of BPA was investigated. Then, the molecular vibrations of BPA in some consumer goods were identified by applying SERS substrates as plasmonic sensors and Raman spectroscopy. The fabricated gold nanoparticles are spherical and quasi-spherical nanoparticles that confirm the formation of gold nanoparticles by observing the plasmon resonance peak at 517 nm. Active SERS substrates have been coated with nanoparticles, which improve the Raman signal. The enhancement of the Raman signal is due to the resonance of the surface plasmons of the nanoparticles. Active SERS substrates, gold nanoparticles deposited on a glass substrate, were fabricated for the detection of BPA; a detection limit of 10-9 M and a relative standard deviation (RSD) equal to 4.17% were obtained for ten repeated measurements in the concentration of 10-9 M. Hence, the Raman results indicate that the active SERS substrates, gold nanoparticles for the detection of BPA along with the developed methods, show promising results for SERS-based studies and can lead to the development of microsensors. In Raman spectroscopy, SERS active substrate coated with gold nanoparticles are of interest, which is larger than gold particles due to the resonance of the surface plasmons of gold nanoparticles and the scattering of light from gold particles since the Raman signal amplifies the molecular vibrations of BPA. By decreasing the concentration of BPA deposited on the active SERS substrates, the Raman signal is also weakened due to the reduction of molecular vibrations. By increasing the surface roughness of the active SERS substrates, the Raman signal can be enhanced due to increased light scattering from rough centers, which are the same as the larger particles created throughout the deposition by the spin-coat method, and as a result, they enhance the signal by increasing the scattering of light. Then, the molecular vibrations of BPA were identified in some consumer goods by SERS substrates as plasmonic sensors and Raman spectroscopy.
We present a hypothetical quantum scattering model to propose a novel electroluminescence device. Adoping with features of solid state semiconductor LED and exciplex laser, the cathode (electrol incoming potential) and anode(electron outgoing potential) are made to correspond to two 1-dimensional resonance supporting potentials, and the light emitting part to an interaction potential in the intermediate region. When an external voltage is applied, the electron flows into the cathode having small work function. Subsequently in flows via LUMO of the " electron incoming potential" loses kinetic energy emitting a photon, then continues to flow via LUMO of the "electron outgoing potential" unlike the conventional LUMO to HOMO transitions occurring in solid state semiconductor LED. In this model, the photon frequency can be controlled by adijusting the applied voltage. The model hopefully could be realized as partially conjugated hydrocarbon chains.

Optical resonances of metallic or dielectric nanoantennas enable to effectively convert free-propagating electromagnetic waves to localized electromagnetic fields and vice versa. Plasmonic resonances of metal nanoantennas extremely modify the local density of optical states beyond the optical diffraction limit and thus facilitate highly-efficient light-emitting, nonlinear signal conversion, photovoltaics, and optical trapping. The leaky-mode resonances, or termed Mie resonances, allow dielectric nanoantennas to have a compact size even less than the wavelength scale. The dielectric nanoantennas exhibiting low optical losses and supporting both electric and magnetic resonances provide an alternative to their metallic counterparts. To extend the utility of metal and dielectric nanoantennas in further applications, e.g. metasurfaces and metamaterials, it is required to understand and engineer their scattering characteristics. At first, we characterize resonant plasmonic antenna radiations of a single-crystalline Ag nanowire over a wide spectral range from visible to near infrared regions. Dark-field optical microscope and direct far-field scanning measurements successfully identify the FP resonances and mode matching conditions of the antenna radiation, and reveal the mutual relation between the SPP dispersion and the far-field antenna radiation. Secondly, we perform a systematical study on resonant scattering properties of high-refractive-index dielectric nanoantennas. In this research, we examined Si nanoblock and electron-beam induced deposition (EBID) carbonaceous nanorod structures. Scattering spectra of the transverse-electric (TE) and transverse-magnetic (TM) leaky-mode resonances are measured by dark-field microscope spectroscopy. The leaky-mode resonances result a large scattering cross section approaching the theoretical single-channel scattering limit, and their wide tuning ranges enable vivid structural color generation over the full visible spectrum range from blue to green, yellow, and red. In particular, the lowest-order TM01 mode overcomes the diffraction limit. The finite-difference time-domain method and modal dispersion model successfully reproduce the experimental results.
The solution properties of sodium n-dodecyl sulfate, as an anionic surfactant in the presence of a cationic watersoluble 5, 10, 15, 20-tetrakis (N-methylpyridinium-4-yl) porphyrin (TMPyP) has been comprehensively studied by means of conductometry, UV-vis and resonance light scattering (RLS) spectroscopies. The results represent the decreasing of critical micelle concentration of SDS solution due to increasing of TMPyP concentration. The stabilization of SDS micelle is due to neutralization of negative charge at the micelle surface. The presence of three different species of TMPyP in SDS solution has been unequivocally demonstrated: free porphyrin monomers, porphyrin monomers or aggregates bound to the micelles, and nonmicellar porphyrin/surfactant aggregates. Our results show SDS induced an aggregation in TMPyP. In fact two kinds of J-aggregations were observed: one of them for porphyrin monomers or aggregates bound to the micelles and the other for nonmicellar porphyrin/surfactant aggregates. However, the results represent the electrostatic interaction of TMPyP with SDS anion below the cmc.
The neutron capture spectrum for the light nuclide was very useful to study the nuclear structure. In the present study, the capture gamma-ray from the 27-keV resonance of $^{19}F(n,g)^{20}F$ reaction were measured with an anti-Compton NaI(Tl) spectrometer and the 3-MV Pelletron accelerator of the Research Laboratory for Nuclear Reactors at the Tokyo institute of technology. A neutron Time-of-Flight method was adopted with a 1.5 ns pulsed neutron source by the $^7Li(p,n)^7Be$ reaction. In the present experiment, a Teflon(($CF_2$)n) sample was used The sample was disk with a diameter of 90mm. The thickness of sample was determined so that reasonable counting rates could be obtained and the correction was not so large for the self-shielding and multiple scattering of neutrons in the sample, and was 5mm. The primary gamma-ray transitions were compared with previous measurement of Kenny.
The characteristics of $Al_2O_3/Ag/Al_2O_3$ multilayer passivaton prepared by twin target sputtering (TTS) system for organic light emitting diodes. The $Al_2O_3/Ag/Al_2O_3$ multilayer thin film passivation on a PET substrate had a high transmittance of 86.44 % and low water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of $0.011\;g/m^2$-day due to the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect of Ag interlayer and effective multilayer structure for preventing the intrusion of water vapor. Using synchrotron x-ray scattering and field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) examinations, we investigated the growth behavior of Ag layer on the $Al_2O_3$ layer to explain the SPR effect of the Ag layer. This indicates that an $Al_2O_3/Ag/Al_2O_3$ multilayer passivation is a promising thin film passivation scheme for organic based flexible optoelectronics.

In this study, e-beam equipment was used to form silver nanoparticles on thin films of $TiO_2$ to increase the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells and improve the annealing process. $TiO_2$ thin films with nanoparticle photoelectrodes were fabricated in individual units for use in dye-sensitized solar cells. The characteristics of dye-sensitized solar cells were compared to those of the prepared $TiO_2$ photoelectrode with and without nanoparticles. The dye-sensitized solar cells with silver nanoparticles showed a significant increase in the electric current density compared with the pure $TiO_2$ dye-sensitized solar cell and improved the solar conversion efficiency to 27.89%. The increased density of electric current increased the extent of light absorption of the dye owing to the plasmon resonance of the nanoparticles at the local surfaces. This phenomenon led to increased light scattering, which in turn increased the current density of the dye-sensitized solar cells and improved the solar conversion efficiency.

Applying rigorous modal transmission-line theory (MTLT), the properties of resonant diffraction gratings under conical light incidence is investigated. The mode vectors pertinent to resonant diffraction under conical mounting vary less with incident angle than those associated with diffraction gratings in classical mounting. Furthermore, as the evanescent diffracted waves drive the leaky modes responsible for the resonance effects, the conical mounting imbues diffraction gratings with larger angular tolerance than their classical counterparts. Based on these concepts, the angular-spectral and wavelength-spectral performance of resonant diffraction gratings in conical and classical mounts by numerical calculations with spectra found for conical incidence are quantified. These results will be useful in various applications demanding resonant diffraction gratings that are efficient and physically sparse.

Self-diffusion coefficients of colloidal ass9Ciation structures in the aqueous solutions of anionic ammonium dodecyl sulfate (ADS) and cationic octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride (OTAC) surfactants were measured by pulsed-gradient spin echo NMR. The results were interpreted on the basis of the ADS/OTAC/water phase diagram. Crossing the phase boundaries, significant changes in self diffusion coefficients were observed and well correlated to the phase diagram. For the micelles their apparent radii were obtained from Stokes-Einstein equation. Their values were 15 for the ADS micelles and 54 ${{\AA}}$ for the OTAC micelles, respectively. For vesicles which were formed spontaneously at different relative amounts of the surfactants and total surfactant concentrations, the radius was measured as 50 to 200 nm. This result is in fair agreement with those by TEM and light scattering.
