Dual-microphone 환경에서 주파수 영역 적응 필터와 MMSE-LSA기반 배경 잡음 알고리즘 (Background Noise Reduction Algorithm Based on Frequency Domain Adaptive Filter and MMSE-LSA in Dual-microphone situation)

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서 dual microphone을 이용하여 배경 잡음을 효율적으로 제거하는 방법을 제안한다. 참조 마이크와 주 입력 마이크로부터 측정된 신호를 각각 FDAF의 참조신호와 주 입력 신호로 하여 잡음 제거를 수행한 뒤에 MMSE-LSA를 이용하여 잔여 잡음 및 배경 잡음을 추정하여 제거 한다. 이때 일관성 있는 잡음 제거 성능을 위해 두 마이크 신호의 PLD를 이용한 VAD 결과를 사용한다.

  • A novel approach based on parameters estimation is presented far fault detection and diagnosis in sensors. Based on known precise parameter of normal working sensors system model is built from real laboratory inputs-outputs data, sequentially residual serial is obtained. Where decision-making rule of detection the fault is given via the use of beys theory, whilst a filter least-square computative algorithm for estimating fault parameters is given. The algorithm is a fast and accurate to calculate value of sensors faults when system model contains noise and sensors outputs contain measured noise. The method can solve both gain type and bias type fault in sensors. Simulated numerical example is included to demonstrate the use of the proposed approaches.

  • In the speed-sensorless induction motor control systems, only a few percents of error in current measurement badly deteriorates the control performance. And early detection and accomodation of the faults of current sensor is very important to enhance the reliability of the induction motor control system. In this paper, we propose two sensor fault detection schemes having desired functions; fault detection, isolation of failed sensor and compensation of fault effect. The two schemes operate in real-time and employ EKFs (Extended Kalman Filter) for residual generation. Simulation results show that the proposed schemes are very useful in maintaining the control performance of the induction motor driven servo systems even in the face of sensor faults.

Implementation of Acoustic Echo Canceller with FPGA

  • In this paper, the AEC(acoustic echo canceller) is designed and implemented using VHDL(VHSIC hardware description language). The designed Echo Canceller employs the pipeline and the master-slave structure, and is realized with FPGA. As an adaptive algorithm, the Normalized LMS algorithm is used. For the coefficient adjustment, the Stochastic Iteration Algorithm(SIA) which uses only current residual values is used and the number of registers are evidently reduced and convergence speed is also much improved comparing to existing methods by using EAB of FPGA for FIR filter structure of transceiver. The designed Echo Canceller is verified with the test board implemented for this paper. From the timing simulation echo signals at about 1500 sampling data are converged and ERLE is improved by about 42-dB.

  • A hybrid approach which includes edge- and region-based methods is considered. The modified non-linear Laplacian(MNL) filter is used for feature extraction. The matching algorithm has three steps which are edge, signed region, and residual region matching. At first, the edge points are matched using the sign and direction of edges. Then, the disparity is propagated from edge to inside region. A variable window is used to consider the local method which give accurate matched points and area-based method which can obtain full-resolution disparity map. In addition, a new relaxation algorithm for considering matching possibility derived from normalized error and regional continuity constraint is proposed to reduce the mismatched points. By the result of simulation for various images, this algorithm is insensitive to noise and gives full- resolution disparity map.

  • This paper is concerned with the design of four control charts for real-time monitoring of the continuous flow processes. Control charts for both uncorrelated data and correlated data are designed using the Kalman filtering techinque. The relative performance between the designed control charts and traditional control charts is evaluated in terms of the Average Run Length(ARL). Results show that the Adaptive EWMA control charts designed for uncorrelated data has better performance when process mean is shifted, while the residual control charts for correlated data has better performance when process is in control.

  • This paper presents an inchworm with three piezoelectric actuators. The dynamic stiffness of the inchworm is generally low compared to its driving condition, so mechanical vibration may degenerate the motion accuracy of the inchworm. The dynamic model of inchworm is identified by curve fitting technique based on the experimental frequency response function. For the precision motion control and low residual vibration of inchworm, driving input signal is designed by using cycloid step input and LQG control technique. Experimental result shows that proposed input shaping method is applicable effectively to the inchworm.

Model-based Reference Trajectory Generation for Tip-based Learning Controller

  • The non-minimum phase characteristic of a flexible manipulator makes tracking control of its tip difficult. The level of the tip tracking performance of a flexible manipulator is significantly affected by the characteristics of the tip reference trajectory as well as the characteristics of the flexible manipulator system. This paper addresses the question of how to best specify a reference trajectory for the tip of a flexible manipulator to follow in order to achieve the objectives of reducing : tip tracking error, residual tip vibration, and the required actuation effort at the manipulator joint. A novel method of tip-based learning controller for the flexible manipulator system is proposed in the paper, where a model of the flexible manipulator system with a command shaping filter is used to generate a smooth and realizable tip reference trajectory for a tip-based learning controller.

One Chip 반향 제거기를 위한 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 이중 케이블에서 전 이중방식 디지털 데이터 전송을 위한 적응 스토캐스틱 반복 알고리즘(Adaptive Stochasti Iteration Algorithm)을 제안하였다. 이 알고리즘을 이용한 반향제저기의 Step size는 반향의 크기에 따라서 변하므로 기존의 알고리즘에 의한 것 보다 10 배 이상의 높은 수렴율을 보였다. 그리고 이것은 기존의 반향 제거기 회로를 단순화 시키는 시퀸스 형태의 적응 디지털 필터와 결합하여 구현되며 LSI 수준으로 구현하기에 적합하다. 두 알고리즘에 대한 이론적인 분석을 제시하고 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발하였다.

  • In this paper, a design method of a fault diagnosis filter for a system with multiplicative faults which cause to change its parameters is developed. Linear time-invariant systems are dealt with in discrete-time domain. The residual which is sensitive to a damage of control surface of an aircraft by parity space approach is defined. Next, the fault is isolated by a new decision logic. Control reconfiguration is achieved by the result of fault diagnosis. Finally, the feasibility of the method is illustrated with a simulation study of a fault diagnosis system for a damaged control surface of an aircraft.
