As the springback of sheet metal during unloading nay cause deviation from a desired shape, accurate prediction of springback is essential for the design of sheet stamping operations. On the removal of the applied load the specimen loses its elastic strain by contracting around the contour of the block, the radius $\rho$ can be determined by the residual differential strain. Therefore in this study the springback estimated by the residual differential strain is experimentally validated through the comparison with those obtained by U-bending test. The springback characteristics of two analytical models are also estimated at various processing conditions such as thickness, curvature of radius and drawing strain. The model based on residual differential strain has an applied transition strain where the springback undergoes a dramatic decrease. Both models show that springback decreases with increased strip thickness and with decreased radius of curvature. For no applied tension, the model based on residual differential strain predicts more springback as compared to the moment based model.
Aiming at the problem that the existing human behavior recognition algorithm cannot fully utilize the multi-level spatio-temporal information of the network, a human behavior recognition algorithm based on a dense three-dimensional residual network is proposed. First, the proposed algorithm uses a dense block of three-dimensional residuals as the basic module of the network. The module extracts the hierarchical features of human behavior through densely connected convolutional layers; Secondly, the local feature aggregation adaptive method is used to learn the local dense features of human behavior; Then, the residual connection module is applied to promote the flow of feature information and reduced the difficulty of training; Finally, the multi-layer local feature extraction of the network is realized by cascading multiple three-dimensional residual dense blocks, and use the global feature aggregation adaptive method to learn the features of all network layers to realize human behavior recognition. A large number of experimental results on benchmark datasets KTH show that the recognition rate (top-l accuracy) of the proposed algorithm reaches 93.52%. Compared with the three-dimensional convolutional neural network (C3D) algorithm, it has improved by 3.93 percentage points. The proposed algorithm framework has good robustness and transfer learning ability, and can effectively handle a variety of video behavior recognition tasks.
In this work the stationary bootstrap of Politis and Romano [27] is applied to the empirical distribution function of stationary and associated random variables. A weak convergence theorem for the stationary bootstrap empirical processes of associated sequences is established with its limiting to a Gaussian process almost surely, conditionally on the stationary observations. The weak convergence result is proved by means of a random central limit theorem on geometrically distributed random block size of the stationary bootstrap procedure. As its statistical applications, stationary bootstrap quantiles and stationary bootstrap mean residual life process are discussed. Our results extend the existing ones of Peligrad [25] who dealt with the weak convergence of non-random blockwise empirical processes of associated sequences as well as of Shao and Yu [35] who obtained the weak convergence of the mean residual life process in reliability theory as an application of the association.

Nanoimprint lithography(NIL) is an emerging technology enabling cost-effective and high-throughput nanofabrication. Among NILs, significant efforts from both academia and industry have been put in UV NIL research and development because of its ability to pattern at room temperature and at low pressure. In UV NIL, there may be in-line set-up error of the stamp and the substrate. To compensate this error, the dummy blocks are put on the stamp and pressurized uniformly. Contact problems between the stamp and the photoresist layer on the substrate are often happened, which results in the non-uniform residual layer In this paper, the pressurization method on the dummy block is investigated by the finite element method. A new method is recommended and evaluated far the uniform stamp deformation.

This paper deals with the effect of lightning impulse current on electrical characteristics of ZnO blocks used in distribution lightning arrester. The electrical characteristics of ZnO blocks are degraded by overtime impulse current, and the degraded ZnO block is brought to a thermal runaway and finally destroyed. It is therefore important to estimate the change of electrical characteristics of ZnO blocks. In this study, an impulse current generator which can produce 8/20$[\mus]$, 3[㎄] and 4/10$[\mus]$, 5[㎄] waveform is designed and fabricated to simulate the lightning impulse current of power systems. Total energy applied to the ZnO blocks at each time is 739[J] in 8/20$[\mus]$, and 523[J] in 4/10$[\mus]$, impulse current, respectively. From the experimental results, the 3rd harmonic of the leakage current increases continuously with the number of applied impulse current, but no significant changes in residual voltage and in reference voltage are observed until the ZnO block is destroyed. Also, it is confirmed that the main factor on degradation of ZnO blocks is rather the total energy applied to ZnO blocks than the peak value of the impulse current.
From November 1978 through June 1989, 33 patients aged 3 months to 27 years [mean 9.7 years] underwent repair of intracardiac defects associated with corrected transposition. Five patients had had previous palliative surgery. Operation were performed in 31 for ventricular septal defect, 22 for pulmonary outflow tract obstruction, 16 for atrial septal defect, and 5 for anatomical tricuspid valve regurgitation. Pulmonary outflow tract obstruction was relieved by pulmonary valvotomy in 9, Rastelli procedure in 5, modified Fontan procedure in 3, and by REV procedure in 5 patients recently. Early mortality was 21.2%[7/33] and no late mortality during follow up period. Two had residual pulmonary outflow tract obstruction and one residual VSD. In eight patients, transient arrhythmia was found but soon returned to sinus rhythm. Five patients developed complete heart block and 2 were given permanent pacemaker insertion. There were 8 RBBB, 1 LBBB and one second degree atrioventricular block patients, but all showed no clinical significance. This report suggests that surgical repair of intracardiac defects associated with corrected transposition can be achieved with acceptable low risk. Though the mortality is still high, we can improved the result by advancing surgical technique, knowledge of the special conduction system, and by improving postoperative care.

Due to the nature of the existing load, the criteria of assessing the intensity of the lightweight wall's impact resistance has been though of as obscure. The current study, therefore, focuses on the standardized assessment of the impact resistance to the force of the large soft body applying to the lightweight wall. The gypsum board wall showed a low level of the maximum residual displacement. It is, however, required to be careful about the selection of the finishing process since the high level of the maximum displacement is likely to cause harm to finishing materials. Unlike the gypsum board, the ALC block wall displayed a considerable rigidity while showing almost no maximum residual displacement. Even with the low level of the maximum displacement due to the stiffness, the ALC block wall is still likely to be affected by the vibration derived from any impact on the surface, which demands a need for additional study. The future experimental study, accordingly, will focus on the impact of the vibration on finishing materials, consequently leading to the accurate prediction of the possibility of potential damage to the lightweight wall caused by the large soft body.
As it has been well appreciated, the weld-induced deformation control is one of the most important issues from view point of efficiency in ship production. The weld-induced deformation is more serious in the case of thin plate block than in the case of relatively thick plate block, since, for example, heat affect zone of thin plates is wider than that of thick plates for the same heat input. Among weld-induced deformation, buckling deformation due to shrinkage and residual stress in weld line direction is one of the most serious deformation type. This paper is concerned with the controling the buckling deformation of thin plate fillet weld by applying the tensioning method. Weld experiments have been carried out for specimens with varying the magnitude and direction of tension load. The results are graphically represented to show the effect of tensioning method upon reducing the weld-induced deformation. From the present findings, its has been seen that tensioning method is one of the useful ways to control the weld-induced deformation of fillet weld of thin plates.

The block assembly of ship consists of a certain type of heat processes such as cutting, bending, welding, residual stress relaxation and fairing. The residual deformation due to welding is inevitable at each assembly stage. The geometric inaccuracy caused by the welding deformation tends to preclude the introduction of automation and mechanization and needs the additional man-hours for the adjusting work at the following assembly stage. To overcome this problem, a distortion control method should be applied. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop an accurate prediction method which can explicitly account for the influence of various factors on the welding deformation. The validity of the prediction method must be also clarified through experiments. This paper proposes a simplified analysis method to predict the welding deformation of panel block structure. For this purpose, a simple prediction model for fillet welding deformations has been derived based on numerical and experimental results through the regression analysis. On the basis of these results, the simplified analysis method has been applied to some examples to show its validity.
