  • The high-altitude and mobility characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have made them a key element of new radio systems, particularly because they can exceed the limits of terrestrial networks. However, at high altitudes, UAVs can be significantly affected by intercell interference at a high line-of-sight probability. To mitigate this drawback, we propose an algorithm that selects the optimal beam to reduce interference and maximize transmission efficiency. The proposed algorithm comprises two steps: constructing a user-location-based fingerprint database according to the user types presented herein and cooperative beam selection. Simulations were conducted using cellular cooperative downlink systems for analyzing the performance of the proposed method, and the signal-to-interference-plus-noise cumulative distribution function and spectral efficiency cumulative distribution function were used as performance analysis indicators. Simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm could reduce the effect of interference and increase the performance of the desired signal. Moreover, the algorithm could efficiently reduce overheads and system cost by reducing the amount of resources required for information exchange.

  • In this study, we pursue a new direction for system modeling by introducing the concept of granular models, which produce results in the form of information granules (such as intervals, fuzzy sets, and rough sets). We present a rationale and several key motivating arguments behind the use of granular models and discuss their underlying design processes. The development of the granular model includes optimal allocation of information granularity through optimizing the criteria of coverage and specificity. The emergence and construction of granular models of type-2 and type-n (in general) is discussed. It is shown that achieving a suitable coverage-specificity tradeoff (compromise) is essential for developing granular models.

  • LiDAR systems are usually incorporated a laser scanner and GPS/INS modules with a digital aerial camera. LiDAR point clouds and digital aerial images acquired by the systems provide complementary spatial information on the ground. In addition, some of laser scanners provide intensity, radiometric information on the surface of the earth. Since the intensity is unnecessary of registration and provides the radiometric information at a certain wavelength on the location of LiDAR point, it can be a valuable ancillary information but it does not deliver sufficient radiometric information compared with digital images. This study utilize the LiDAR points as ground control points (GCPs) to adjust exterior orientations(EOs) of the stereo images. It is difficult to find exact point of LiDAR corresponding to conjugate points in stereo images, but this study used intensity of LiDAR as an ancillary data to find the GCPs. The LiDAR points were successfully used to adjust EOs of stereo aerial images, therefore, successfully provided the prerequisite for the precise registration of the two data sets from the LiDAR systems.

  • Cloud computing is an upcoming technology and emerging concept in the field of information technologies. Companies have begun to invest in cloud computing with the expectation that it will improve their business performances, operations, and processes. However, many companies are not so much aware of the cloud computing, so they can hesitate to adopt this new technology. The aims of the study are analyzing factors affecting the adoption of cloud computing and applying structural equation modeling technique to analyze the important dimensions of the adoption. Concordantly, previous studies are examined and expert interviews are arranged. Based on both our literature review and expert interviews, a model is proposed to measure the adoption of cloud computing. It is obvious that there are scarce researches about cloud computing adoption in the literature. Thus, the originality of the paper lies on that it proposes a research model for cloud computing adoption and it investigates various dimensions of cloud computing adoption in detail.

  • Adoption of information technology(IT) in a corporation has been started with the aim of efficient process and management of business being complicated. But, this adoption of IT is roleplaying the rearrangement of organization structure. Many researchers have studied the relationship between adoption of IT and change of organization structure. In this research, it has been studied that how the adoption of IT influences on the change of organization structure. Adoption of IT ina corporation influences the structure of manpower and this influence causes the change of structure of organization. However, this influence is not only the deterministic source to the change. In a corporation, not only intention and role of chief executive and but also participations of employees for the adoption of IT make differences in the quality of corporation information systems and, as a result, the aspect of organization structure change.

  • As an interest in the efficiency of public sector expenditures has spread across the world, Korea has operated a self-evaluation system for government projects as a part of the performance-based budget system. However, an evaluation system for public information technology project has been criticized for its lack of validity, which stems from the uniformity of performance management. This study draws insight from knowledge management literature in an attempt to address the problems with the extant performance evaluation system in public agencies. To realize benefits from IT investment, an agency needs to develop its own performance management model for information systems projects, with a focus on the interaction of IT and organizational system. The knowledge management-based framework for IT projects was verified through a case study, with which we discussed the applicability of knowledge management to the evaluation of public information systems projects.

  • The technology acceptance model(TAM) has been widely studied in IS research in order to gain a better understanding of the adoption and use of information systems. Based on the TAM, we explored acceptance of internet shopping mall. 261 questionaries were collected and analyzed. The results of this study showed that the internet shopping mall characteristics such as information quality, system design quality, and communication are important factors in affecting user's visiting and buying frequency at the internet shopping mall. Therefore, the internet shopping mall providers should make the product's information more informative and design shopping mall sites more effectively and interactively.

  • These days, a lot of information and knowledge is being produced and accumulated constantly, which makes it difficult for a person to get the exact information or knowledge in simple way that he or she wants to get. It is also true in college and university. A lot of data is increasing so fast that a student cannot achieve his or her goal in learning with the text. This means that it is necessary to bring a change in the way of teaching and learning from only simple lectures. So in this treatise, we try to develop the method of the introduction and operation of center for teaching and learning. In order to accomplish the purposes, this research has examined the questionare and domestic colleges and universities.

  • This paper proposes a digital algorithm for gray-scale/color image segmentation of real-time video signals and a cell-network-based implementation architecture in state-of-the-art CMOS technology. Through extrapolation of design and simulation results we predict that about 300$\times$300 pixels can be integrated on a chip at 100nm CMOS technology, realizing very high-speed segmentation at about 1600sec per color image. Consequently real-time color-video segmentation will become possible in near future.
