It is well known that the test and evaluation plan (TEP) is very crucial in the successful development of safety-critical systems. As such, this paper discusses an approach to the development of the TEP for a system that should meet safety requirements in the systems development process. It is studied how to incorporate the result of preliminary hazard analysis (PHA) in generating the safety requirements. It is also discussed how to deal with them when the system requirements (i.e., functions, performance, constraints, components, etc) and the safety requirements are integrated into one model. While doing so, we have constructed the required traceability among them, which is necessary and very useful when the safety requirements need to be corrected or be changed. The use of the traceability makes it possible to easily check out whether and how the safety requirements are properly incorporated in the system design process. Furthermore, without the verified traceability, the system cannot be changed or upgraded later. In order to implement the model on a computer-aided tool, we have constructed a database (DB) schema. As a result, the implemented model/DB allows to automatically generate TEP which can be used to measure the performance and safety level of the developed system.
The SW-centered battlefield management information system R&D project takes a long period of 5-10 years or more by applying a complex and rigid batch acquisition strategy. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to institutionalize a rapid and flexible battlefield management information system R&D project management procedure applying agile development methodology, and a government project management organization and contract management method to support it In this study, we analyzed the case of applying the Agile development method centered on Scrum to the US SW-centered weapon system R&D project and the characteristics and problems of the battlefield management information system R&D project in Korea, and suggested improvement measures as follows. First, the battlefield management information system R&D model applies the hybrid development method, and the system requirements analysis and system structure design use the existing waterfall development procedure, and the agile method is applied from the SW requirements analysis to the system integration stage. Second, flexible adjustment of performance, schedule, and cost by organizing an Agile IPT in which military (requirements) - DAPA (project management) - developer - functional specialized organizations (test and evaluation, quality, government research institutes, etc.) participate. Third, improving the Basic Order Agreement so that it can be applied to agile R&D.

The storage of data documentation for Myanmar pagodas has various issues, and its retrieval method causes problems for users and libraries. This study utilized a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to investigate pagoda data management in Myanmar libraries. The study aims to achieve the following objectives: to study the library collection management of pagodas in Myanmar, to investigate the management of pagoda data in Myanmar libraries, and to identify the pagoda data requirements for metadata development from the library professional perspective. The study findings revealed several challenges facing librarians and library users in accessing and managing Myanmar pagoda data, including limited stocks and retrieval tools, difficulty in accessing all available data online, and a lack of a centralized database or repository for storing and retrieving pagoda data. The study recommends the establishment of metadata criteria for managing a set of pagoda data and improving access to technology to address these challenges.
In order to provide continuous Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) services, the operation organization should continuously and systematically perform operations, maintenance, and technical activities. All subsystems of KASS, all Line Replacement Units (LRUs), and Software Replacement Units (SWRUs) should be operated and maintained continuously. In order to effectively manage these activities, it is necessary to develop an Operation Management Tool (OMT). For this purpose, operation management, operation organization, and operation activities were defined. The defined requirements were divided into general, function, interface, and database for OMT development, and functions and decision-making procedures consisting of site/asset/trouble/work order/schedule management were designed. The OMT developed by reflecting the site and asset information as well as the design content met predefined requirements. The OMT will be actively used in actual KASS operation and will evolve by continuously reflecting the additional requirements of operators. Through this tool, KASS will support continuous service provision.

In the current software project, it is still very difficult to extract and define clear requirements in the requirement engineering. Informal requirements documents based on natural language can be interpreted in different meanings depending on the degree of understanding or maturity level of the requirements analyst. Also, Furthermore, as the project progresses, requirements continue to change from the customer. This change in requirements is a catastrophic failure from a management perspective in software projects. In the situation of frequent requirements changes, a current issue of requirements engineering area is how to make clear requirements with unclear and ambigousrequirements. To solve this problem, we propose to extract and redefine clear requirements by incorporating Design Thinking methodologies into requirements engineering. We expect to have higher possibilities to improve software quality by redefining requirements that are ambiously and unclearly defined.

MTTR and MTBSF are two representative quantitative maintainability and reliability requirements for railway systems. we deal with the redundancy allocation problem to satisfy the two requirements. The redundancy increases MTBSF and changes MTTR. Parallel redundancy and the exponential lifetime distribution of components are considered for the series systems. Mathematical model and example are presented for the redundancy optimization problem of minimizing the cost subjecting to MTTR and MTBSF requirements.

Well-evaluated quality of software can provide business proper decisions, increase productivity, and prevent financial loss or unnecessary burden of rework. Evaluation is important to ensure the chosen software conforming to organizational requirements, customer demands, and product integrity level. In this paper, we present a theoretical model with the structure of evaluation requirements to select the prioritized evaluation target input of software quality. Within limited time and budget, the prioritized target inputs of evaluation can be used to determine the appropriate evaluating step for each different category of requirements.
Background: A group health service is a system that delegates workplace health management to an entrusted institution. There have been various studies on group health services to date, but recent changes, such as an increase in foreign workers, are rapidly changing industry characteristics. Methods: Satisfaction was assessed using a 27-question survey distributed among 203 workplaces employing health professionals. The survey items consisted of general characteristics, comprehensive satisfaction, requirements for health professionals' work, and satisfaction with work environment management, ergonomic management, and healthcare management. Multiple regression and frequency analyses were performed. Results: The comprehensive satisfaction was 4.08 points on average, out of 5. The comprehensive satisfaction of health professionals in the industry was positively correlated with each factor. Hazardous materials and chemical management (material safety data sheets, MSDSs) were the most common requirements. Conclusion: A low level of satisfaction with work environment management indicates high demand for healthcare management. The working environment should be improved by identifying characteristics of the workplace, examining harmful substances, inspecting equipment, and enhancing worker methods. The shorter the work experience of health professionals, the more dependent they are on group health services. The variables affecting comprehensive satisfaction were the period of work, healthcare management satisfaction, and work environment management satisfaction. Most of the requirements of health professionals in the workplace were practical improvement case presentations, MSDSs, and legal document management.
In education, innovative ways of teaching and learning are always under development and keep being proposed with advanced concepts since the ancient times. Student-centered learning, problem-based learning and cooperative learning have been three major trends under development in secondary education research and practice more than a decade or so. Combined with advanced information and communication technologies, these trends will greatly transform the way we teach and learn in classroom environment and may change the classroom environment itself, into a more interactive and self-centered coaching type environment. In this study, a smart environment that utilizes advanced information technology devices and network is conceptualized, accommodating requirements contained and proposed in the recent trendy pedagogies. Pedagogical cases discussed in these trends are analyzed in detail, producing requirements for such a learning and coaching environment. These requirements are modeled using unified modeling language, leading to a proposal of a basic architecture for an information system supporting this environment.
