NOx, Soot and other exhausted components already became a dangerous state as principal materials of the air pollution. Therefore, the exhausted regulations are getting strict in the many countries. In this paper, reduction characteristic of NOx, Soot and CO from diesel engine are investigated, when MF plasma-EGR hybride system is put to the diesel engine. NOx is decreased in all measured load and applied voltage to plasma renter However Soot is increased as increasing EGR rate and it is decreased as increasing applied voltage.

The weld quality of spacer grids in Pressurized Water Reactors(PWR) fuel is extremely important for the fuel assembly performance in the nuclear renter. The spacer grid welds are currently evaluated mainly by the metallographic examination although it reveals only cross-points which are welded by the laser beam. This experiment is also to compare the weldability of Zircaloy-4 spacer grids using by the GTA and laser beam. The effect of node geometries of spacer grids for GTAW and LBW has been studied and optimum conditions of spacer grid welding have been found. Microstructures and micro-hardness of GTA and laser beam welded zones have been also compared.

We investigate the electronic structure of perovskite PbTiO$_3$ and the microscopic origin of the ferroelectric lattice instability through first-principles pseudopotential calculations. We examine pseudo Jahn-Teller effect to discuss the lattice instability. The JT effect is caused by the hybridization of the p-orbitals of O atoms and d-orbital of Ti atom. We find the JT effect is most significant at Brillouin zone renter.

Recently, the optical disk drive that is thin in thickness has been demanded by the popularization of notebook PC. The device that controls the thickness of a drive is the height of optical pickup. Therefore, researches about this are going on and an asymmetric actuator is the good choice fur this target. However, the actuator of this design has troubles that a subsidiary resonance is likely to be actuated by discord between the center of force and the mass of renter. In this paper, relation between the tracking coil and the subsidiary resonance is analyzed and dynamic characteristics of an actuator are improved by using experiments design and response surface method.

In this paper, we report on a microstrip line voltage controlled tunable bandpass filter. We used the characteristic the relative dielectric constant of thin film ferroelectrics depends on the applied dr voltage. we designed using Au/BSTO/MgO/Au structure. We cascaded many resonators for large furling range sustaining 1 GHz renter frequency, narrow band, low IL ($\leq$4 dB). We could design the BPF of which center frequency is 16 GHz, 1.9 GHz tuning range, the narrow bandwidth within 800 MHz, low insertion loss less than 3 dB by adjusting the gap of 3 cascaded resonators.

A coastwise chemical tanker sailing at full speed has capsized in calm water and whole turing. In the precious paper, we investigated reasons of the accident by demonstrating the proper correction for the free surface effect of the liquid cargo and the bow-sinkage effect. In this paper, we also carry out model experiments of a transverse pressure under the seawater and an outward heel moment according to the heel angle and rudder angle, on the basis of radius of turning circle, ship's speed and drift angle of model ship occurring in turning. It is also shown that the flooding of seawater onto the deck occurring in turning generated a significant outward heel moment and the vertical distance between the center of gravity of the ship and the renter of lateral water drag.

The purpose of this study is to estimate the residential satisfaction, and to present the direction of the policy to elevate it. A housewife living in the rental apartment in Gwangju completed a structured questionnaire under the guidance of her interviewer. The Questionnaires used in this study were 305. The major findings were as follows : 1 . Degree of the residential satis(action of housewives living in the rental apartment in Gwangju was not high. 2. The significant variables that influenced on the overall residential satisfaction were existence of the delegation of borrowers, cognition of the law for the rental house. In future research, the index to represent the real participation of borrowers have t\ulcorner be made and the variables related the residential satisfaction have to be sought respectively.

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships between the various types of activities occurring in domestic space and the resident's characteristics in Belgium. Data for this study was collected by questionnaires mailed to 133 staff member. both academic and administrative. working at The Free University of Brussels. a university serving the Dutch speaking community in Belgium. General leneal model and Duncan test were used in analyzing the data. The major findings of the study can be summarized as follows: First. families in the life-cycle stage of having no children are more likely to relax and watch T.V. and do housework in the master bedroom than those in the launching stage. Families in the life-cycle stage of elementary school are more likely to eat meals in the kitchen than those in the launching period. Second. families made up two members and under tend to do more housework in the master bedroom than those of three and over. Third. those with aged 30 and under are more likely to relax and watch T.V., and to do housework in the master bedroom than those with aged 51 and over. Forth. the renter status of homeownership tend to more relax and watch T.V., and to do housework in the master bedroom than the owner Fifth. those living with less floor space tend to relax and watch T.V. in the master bedroom more than those with larger residences.

Recently, owing to the development of ubiquitous, RFID and local area wireless communication technology, many studies on the system which can measure biomedical signals are being carried out. In this paper, we have designed and implemented an u-Healthcare system based on sensor network using biomedical signal measurement sensors such as ECG, blood pressure, and heartbeats. The biomedical signals from sensor nodes pass through the gateway and are finally transmitted to a healthcare renter. The acquired biomedical signals are processed in the healthcare center and the analyzed results are transmitted to the patients to improve patients' health using either kinesitherapy or dietary treatment.
