  • Nowadays, there is called energy saving, that it is accomplished with a lot study and application development as according to demand of all around world. It is using to network device of wire or wireless such as internet, lan, plc, and zigbee and that we should be accomplished to study about method that spending a little cost to fatal error in control system that be expected of frequent occurrence on network, and that have method to do construction a little bit tried out. Also, in that such a embedded system with network function case, there is important thing that it is remote management to network node and control methods to trust because firmware upgrade have the advantage of more than the other device. In this paper, we have verified through a result of experiment for efficient remote management and control method as previously stated in this paper, that it is area of the PLC for sensor node and doing management to relay, and implementation of the LACC which is core part of the ESS, and in order to get a result to trust from doing analysis of capacity and test.

Subsurface Antenna for Remote Management of Underground Facility (지하 매설물 원격 관리를 위한 지표면 매입형 안테나)

  • In this paper, two novel subsurface antennas for remote management of underground facilities using PCS and cellular wireless network are proposed. The proposed subsurface antenna is a dual band circular patch which is inserted and molded for the protection of the antenna into a metal such as a manhole cover. The antenna is designed considering the resonant frequency shift of the antenna due to the insertion and molding. The measured return loss and receiving power of the fabricated antenna comparison with a dipole shows that two proposed subsurface antenna can be used for remote management of underground facilities using PCS and cellular systems.

  • we studied a data acquisition and control system of a wind turbine for measuring and controlling a voltage fluctuations of a wind turbine system. The wind turbine system is installed out control area. So, it is so important for supervising to wind turbine of a maintenance, wind speed, optical resources wind turbine output, wind speed, wind direction, over voltage of a generator. This system can be supplied a data of over voltage, under voltage, voltage fluctuations of a wind turbine for controlling an EMS : Energy Management System or a SCADA : Supervision Control and Data Acquisition at a constitute of a wind farm. The of voltage fluctuation system of a wind turbine is improving an electric power supply power quality of a distribution line and unspecified individuals of used wind turbine.

  • Photovoltaic power generation system is one of new renewable energy sources. Such distributed power generation system has important issues for the system management ad operating after its installation. To solve the problem, remote monitoring and control systems can be employed. In this paper, LabVBEW based monitoring and control system is proposed for efficient management and operation of the photovoltaic power generation system. Interface method between monitoring part and DSP controller is given in detail. The proposed system is verified through experiments using a grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system.

  • In this paper, network management system(NMS) was developed using Ethernet network for several devices. Recently, due to the development of the information communication, network has been constructed several place. And management system using network has been studied due to the increment of necessity of remote control for industrial device. Agent board that necessity of NMS, was developed using general micro-controller, it operates like stand-alone network device, supports TCP/IP protocol suite, has the ability to connect to industrial device and communicates each other. Also manager base on MMI was developed, it operates with agent board and supports effective management. To prove this system UPS(uninterruptible power supply) is selected as the example of industrial device. Finally, experimental result verifies the communication between agent board and manager.

  • Nowadays, great energy consumption in advanced electrical industry has called up the great y efficiency. Electric power IT industry such as intelligent electric power system is receiving great attention and being marked up as a new growth engine. Through Intelligent electric power system, the electric power supply can be balance optimized according to demand, giving huge cost savings advantage for energy imports, infrastructure construction and operation. Nevertheless, the intelligent system promotes better reliability in power supply. Manual electric power management using man power appears to be non-practical. Real time electric power management on all facilities and equipment can be done through an intelligent electric power system, any accident break out issue can be easily recorded and recognized. In this paper, a fully integrated intelligent switchgear electric management system is developed to monitor and remote control the electrical switch based on smart phone. The proposed system is superior than the existing switchgear management system's weakness and can sharply improve effectiveness and stability with low cost. In future, the proposed system is expected to be greatly contributed to the advancement of the IT industry in electric power management.

  • This paper aims at developing remote contro system to control and monitor distributed various devices through internet or information communication network. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and rectifier operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time java-environment software is constructed. Also general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, seria communication such as RS-232 and RS-485 is used between controller and applied device.

  • The firmware upgrade, which is remotely performed, is an essential function in smart metering or AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure). In other words, the AMI software and firmware can be switched for maintaining and improvement without replacement of H/W devices in AMI environment. Also, if number and type of devices are increase, the demand of remote update service will be increased. Through the firmware upgrade service remotely, the electric power corporation may be able to benefit various fields. For example, there are to adapt more easily in many environments, real-time service and to cut maintenance costs. In this paper, we proposed to design an international level FUMS(Firmware Upgrade Management System) which includes requirement function, architecture and protocol related with DCU, Smart Meter.

  • Air compressor is an important facility with electric power in the industry. However, because of the noise and vibration of air compressor and is installed outside the building management difficulty. In this study, MCP (Micro Control Processor) to remote monitoring of the air compressor via the compressed air through improved quality and allows stable maintenance were designed. So, increase the productivity improvement of energy-saving effect can be obtained. Remote real-time information stored on your PC to manage air compressor equipment was higher reliability. Monitoring system is developed in this study was applied to embedded systems. It is easy to install air compressor, and low maintenance costs was to raise the economic impact.
