Bayesian Analysis of Software Reliability Growth Model with Negative Binomial Information (음이항분포 정보를 가진 베이지안 소프트웨어 신뢰도 성장모형에 관한 연구)

  • Software reliability growth models are used in testing stages of software development to model the error content and time intervals betwewn software failures. In this paper, using priors for the number of fault with the negative binomial distribution nd the error rate with gamma distribution, Bayesian inference and model selection method for Jelinski-Moranda and Goel-Okumoto and Schick-Wolverton models in software reliability. For model selection, we explored the sum of the relative error, Braun statistic and median variation. In Bayesian computation process, we could avoid the multiple integration by the use of Gibbs sampling, which is a kind of Markov Chain Monte Carolo method to compute the posterior distribution. Using simulated data, Bayesian inference and model selection is studied.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the reliability of Social Media information according to the actual use of nail shops through Social Media and the effect of nail shops on the selection factors, and to contribute to the management strategy of nail companies by securing loyal customers through effective promotion and customer satisfaction through Social Media. The survey was conducted by analyzing the final 403 copies of adult women in their 20s and 50s who used nail shops using Social Media. As a result of the study, it was found that there is a difference according to each factor in the actual use of nail shops through Social Media according to general characteristics. Second, there were differences in information reliability according to the actual use of nail shops through Social Media and Social Media nail shop selection factors. Third, there was a difference in the reliability of Social Midea information and selection factors according to the use of nail shops Social Media. Fourth, it was found that the reliability of Social Midea information affects the selection factors of nail shops through Social Media. Therefore, it can be helpful in revitalizing the nail beauty market by increasing the satisfaction of consumers who use nail shops and basic data for establishing nail shop management strategies.

  • An algorithm to get network reliability, where each link has probability of fuzzy number, is proposed. Decomposition method and fuzzy numbers arithmetic are applied to the algorithm. Pivot link is chosen one by one from start node recursively at time of decomposition, and arithmetic of fuzzy complementary numbers is included at the same time. No criteria of pivot link selection and the recursive calculation make the algorithm simple.

  • There exists popular approach using certainty factor (CF) for the development of effective reasoning mechanism under uncertainty in Expert System, However, there is a problem with CF. The CF values could be resulted in the opposite of given conditional probabilities. In this paper, a method for, reasoning under uncertainty using reliability theory to overcome the problem is proposed. And the proposed method is used in the development of Expert System for the selection of equipment for automated warehouses.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how nutritionists, principals and parents evaluated the importance and priorities of different selection factors for food materials suppliers in an attempt to suggest how to ensure the best supplier choice, since the selection of the best supplier was mandatory for the successful TQM of school food services. This study especially aims to develop priority alternatives based on relative rather than absolute assignments on selection of suppliers for school food service materials. To apply AHP, the selection factors of a food materials suppliers were grouped into five categories, which included quality, service, reliability, hygiene and price. And the five categories involved 28 elements. As the result, quality was considered most crucial on the whole, followed by service, reliability, hygiene and price; and food labeling in the category of quality evaluated as that of first priority in the totality evaluation elements.

  • Bayesian inference and model selection method for software reliability growth models are studied. Software reliability growth models are used in testing stages of software development to model the error content and time intervals between software failures. In this paper, could avoid multiple integration using Gibbs sampling, which is a kind of Markov Chain Monte Carlo method to compute the posterior distribution. Bayesian inference for general order statistics models in software reliability with diffuse prior information and model selection method are studied. For model determination and selection, explored goodness of fit (the error sum of squares), trend tests. The methodology developed in this paper is exemplified with a software reliability random data set introduced by of Weibull distribution(shape 2 & scale 5) of Minitab (version 14) statistical package.

  • We propose an extended relational data model which can represent the reliability of data. In this paper, the reliability of data is defined as the reliability of the source, from which the data originated. We represent the reliability of data at the level of attribute values, instead of tuples, then define the selection, product and join operators.

  • The purpose of this study is program development for efficient medical institution management and finding comprehensive measures to increase the credibility of medical institutions. For this purpose, a survey on medical service satisfaction was conducted for elderly people aged 65 or older living in four other areas. The results of the analysis were as follows: First, the survey participants had higher confidence in private medical institutions. Second, there was no relationship between the reliability of public and private medical institutions and the selection of medical institutions. Third, the environment of the survey subjects was related to the selection of medical institutions. The credibility of the surveyed public and private medical institutions affects the selection of medical institutions, and the economic power and understanding of the medical institutions also influence the selection of medical institutions.. Therefore, it is suggested that public medical institutions need to improve the satisfaction of medical services in the future, and management efficiency of public medical institutions in addition to private medical institutions is urgently needed.

Enhancement of electrical characteristics and reliability of CuGeS2/GeS2-based super-linear-threshold-switching device by insertion of TiN liner

  • For preventing a sneak current in the 3D cross-point array, the selection device is essentially necessary and an n-MOSFET has been used for the selection device. However, the three-terminal electrodes of n-MOSFET make to achieve a high density of a cross-point array difficult. As a solution, using a selector having two terminal electrodes has been intensively researched. We presented that the CuGeS2/GeS2-based super-linear-threshold-switching (SLTS) selector device with the insertion of optimal TiN liner thickness exhibited outstanding electrical characteristics and reliability. The dependency of electrical characteristics and reliability on various TiN liner thicknesses were investigated. In addition, the principles of reliability and electrical characteristics improvement were understood through the energy dispersive spectroscopy elemental mapping and line profile of Cu. The adequate amount of Cu distributed in GeS2 resistive switching layer is a key factor to achieve excellent electrical characteristics and reliability for an ultra-high-density 3D cross-point array cell.
