열차 운전 종사자를 대상으로 한 인적오류의 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on the Prevention Measures of Human Error with Railway Drivers)

  • In this study, the causes of human error were identified through the survey of the drivers of the three organizations: Seoul Metro, Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation, and Korail. It was started with the aim of finding and eliciting causes in various directions including human factors, job factors, and environmental factors. The Cronbach alpha value was 0.95 for the reliability significance of the stress-induced factors in the operational area. The significance probability for organisational factors was shown to be 0.82, and the significance of the sub-accident experience and the driving skill factors in operation was 0.81 In addition, the analysis results showed that stress-induced in the field of driving is higher than the human factors in the reliability analysis. The results of the analysis confirmed that the reliability of the organizational and operational stress-induced factors was higher than other causes. In order to reduce urban railroad accidents, this paper suggests a method for operating safe urban railroad through the minimization human errors.

ICT 기반 환경 모니터링 센서 데이터의 신뢰성 검증을 위한 플랫폼 (Platform of ICT-based environmental monitoring sensor data for verifying the reliability)

  • 최근 몇 년간 국내 산업에서 센서 오작동과 환경 모니터링의 부재로 인한 유해가스 방출 등으로 인명피해가 발생하고 이러한 유해 물질이 감지할 수 있는 환경 센서의 평가는 내구성 시험 및 위해성 검사 위주이기 때문에 센서의 측정 데이터에 대한 신뢰성 검증에는 한계가 있다. 본 플랫폼은 환경센서의 신뢰성을 검증하고 수집한 데이터를 통해 환경 분석을 위해 주요한 10종의 물질에 대해 측정하는 센서 보드와 각 센서의 성능 검증 체계를 설계하였다. 데이터를 수집하기 위해 센서 보드로 수집된 데이터를 LoRa 통신을 이용하여 데이터 신뢰성 평가 및 검증을 위한 서버로 전달되고 전달된 데이터를 모니터링 하기 위한 센서 데이터 플랫폼의 프로토타입을 제작하였다. 그리고 수집한 데이터를 이용하여 machine learning 기법을 통해 대기 환경을 분석하고 예측한다.

전기기관차 주요부품의 수명주기 설정 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Life Cycle Establishment and Improvement of Main Parts for Electric Locomotive)

  • The 8200-unit electric locomotive, which is a high-efficiency multipurpose electric locomotive, is a German model, namely BR152 series ES64F, and it is manufactured to suit the operating conditions in Korea. Since 2003, 83 locomotives have been introduced in Korea, and they have been operating in the general railway sector for both passenger and freight transport. Although more than 15 years have passed since their first introduction, owing to the characteristics of vehicles introduced overseas, responding promptly to failures has been difficult owing to problems related to factors such as transfer of technology and procurement of parts for maintenance. Furthermore, there have been difficulties in operating the locomotives on the basis of the manufacturer-recommended time-between-overhaul (TBO) cycle. Therefore, a new TBO should be determined. To support the development of a reliability-based maintenance system, this study conducted a reliability and TBO analysis by using failure data obtained from KOVIS, and future management measures are presented.

A reliable intelligent diagnostic assistant for nuclear power plants using explainable artificial intelligence of GRU-AE, LightGBM and SHAP

  • When abnormal operating conditions occur in nuclear power plants, operators must identify the occurrence cause and implement the necessary mitigation measures. Accordingly, the operator must rapidly and accurately analyze the symptom requirements of more than 200 abnormal scenarios from the trends of many variables to perform diagnostic tasks and implement mitigation actions rapidly. However, the probability of human error increases owing to the characteristics of the diagnostic tasks performed by the operator. Researches regarding diagnostic tasks based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have been conducted recently to reduce the likelihood of human errors; however, reliability issues due to the black box characteristics of AI have been pointed out. Hence, the application of eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), which can provide AI diagnostic evidence for operators, is considered. In conclusion, the XAI to solve the reliability problem of AI is included in the AI-based diagnostic algorithm. A reliable intelligent diagnostic assistant based on a merged diagnostic algorithm, in the form of an operator support system, is developed, and includes an interface to efficiently inform operators.

Evaluation of Ergonomic Performance of Medical Smart Insoles

  • Objective: This study was to resolve the limitations of the experimental environment and to solve the shortcomings of the method of measuring human gait characteristics using optical measuring instruments. Design: A cross-sectional study. Methods: Fifteen healthy adults without a history of orthopedic surgery on the lower extremities for the past 6 months were participated. They were analyzed gait variables using the smart guide and the 3D image analysis at the same time, and their results were compared. Visual-3D was used to calculate the analysis variables. Results: The reliability and validity of the data according to the two measuring instruments were found to be very high; gait speed(0.85), cycle time(0.99), stride time of both feet(0.98, 0.97) stride legnth of both feet(0.86, 0.88) stride per minute of both feet(0.99, 0.96), foot speed of both feet(0.90, 0.91), step time of both feet(0.77, 0.71), step per minute(0.72, 0.74), stance time of both feet(0.96, 0.97), swing time of both feet(0.93, 0.79), double step time(0.81), initial double step time(0.84) and terminal step time(0.76). Conclusions: In the case of the smart insole, which measures human gait variables using the pressure sensor and inertial sensor inserted in the insole, the reliability and validity of the measured data were found to be very high. It can be used as a device to replace 3D image analysis when measuring pathological gait.

  • This exploratory study examines critical quality factors of store that can give access to credit card. The procedures of developing instrument is followed by recommendations on the developing measures of marketing constructs. The results shows that service quality of store available for credit card is divided four dimensions(personal service, payment-approving service, information-providing service, problem responsiveness service). These dimensions and scales are verified through the assessment of reliability and validity. Finally, the importance of personal service is showed to be different across types of industry.

  • This study set out to analyze the appropriateness of the piling distance installed in weathered layer in the auger-drilled piling method and the reasonable piling distance for the unfinished parts. For that purpose, an investigation was done of the reliability of the dynamic test, the appropriateness of the old bearing capacity formula for the auger-drilled piling, and the quality control measures for obtaining the required bearing capacity.

  • Recently, Sati and Gupta (2015) proposed two measures of uncertainty based on non-extensive entropy, called the dynamic cumulative residual Tsallis entropy (DCRTE) and the empirical cumulative Tsallis entropy. In the present paper, we extend the definition of DCRTE into the bivariate setup and study its properties in the context of reliability theory. We also define a new class of life distributions based on bivariate DCRTE.

  • Network optimization and design procedures often separate quality of service (QOS) performance measures from reliability issues. This paper considers channel allocation and flow assignment (routing) in a network subject to link failures. Fault-tolerant channel allocation and flow assingments are determined which minimize network cost while maintaining QOS performance requirements. this approach is shown to yield significant network cost reductions compared to previous heuristic methods used in the design of packet switched network with unreliable links.

전력조류계산의 개선에 관한 연구 (An Improved Fast Decoupled Newton Raphson Load flow Study)

  • The Newton-Raphson method has now gained widespread popularity in Load-flow calculationes. In this paper programming is developed with aims to improve the convergence characteristics, speed and memory requirements in the above method. The method of Load-flow calculations is performed by employing the MW-O/MVAR-V decoupling principle. To reduce the memory requirements and improve the speed of calculation the programming of the Optimally Ordered Triangular Factorization method is developed. Besides this, other measures are taken to reduce memory requirements and computing time and to improve reliability. KECO'S 48 Bus system was tested and the method suggested in this paper was proved to be faster than any other methods.
