A Method of Avoid flooding in the Cluster (클러스터 내의 플러딩 회피 방안)

  • In this paper, we propsed scheme to mitigate conflict and loss of message in vehicle communication. And vehicles that exist in the moving direction, were grouping to the cluster form. Through, to select best relay vehicle, transmit a message to the destination. In addition, we applied the double rayleigh fading environment so that can applied in real-environments. Therefore, vehicle communication network applied proposed scheme, can be problem of mitigate conflict and loss of message. Thus, Increase the reliability of the received signal.

Energy Efficiency Maximization for Energy Harvesting Bidirectional Cooperative Sensor Networks with AF Mode

  • This paper investigates the energy efficiency of energy harvesting (EH) bidirectional cooperative sensor networks, in which the considered system model enables the uplink information transmission from the sensor (SN) to access point (AP) and the energy supply for the amplify-and-forward (AF) relay and SN using power-splitting (PS) or time-switching (TS) protocol. Considering the minimum EH activation constraint and quality of service (QoS) requirement, energy efficiency is maximized by jointly optimizing the resource division ratio and transmission power. To cope with the non-convexity of the optimizations, we propose the low complexity iterative algorithm based on fractional programming and alternative search method (FAS). The key idea of the proposed algorithm first transforms the objective function into the parameterized polynomial subtractive form. Then we decompose the optimization into two convex sub-problems, which can be solved by conventional convex programming. Simulation results validate that the proposed schemes have better output performance and the iterative algorithm has a fast convergence rate.

  • In this paper, we proposed scheme that obtain diversity gain in the cooperative communication to mitigate, applied to the effects of fading in the vehicle communication. Relay used bus that can available in the city environment. In addition, we applied the double rayleigh fading environment so that can applied in real-environments. Therefore, proposed scheme through this paper applied to vehicle communication, user can acquire a high quality service and the operation efficiency of the network is improved. Finally, performance of the proposed protocol is analyzed in terms of bit error rate.

  • 중계 기술은 음영지역 해소 및 전송 용량 증대를 위해 기지국과 단말기 사이에 중계기(relay)의 도움을 받아 정보를 전송하는 통신 기술이다. 이 논문에서는 좁고 긴 도로상에 구성되는 선형 클러스터(linear cluster) 자동차 통신 환경을 고려하여 사용자와 중계기 그리고 기지국이 선형 네트워크로 구성됨을 가정한다. 이를 통해 본 논문에서는 선형 네트워크 시스템에서 다중 사용자와 다중 중계기가 존재할 때 최적 중계기 선택 기법을 통한 새로운 중계 전송 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 중계 전송 기법에서는 사용자와 중계기의 신호 전송을 위해 시분할 방식으로 채널이 할당된다고 가정한다. 첫 번째 전송단계에서는 모든 사용자들이 자신의 신호를 중계기와 기지국으로 전송한다. 기지국에서는 사용자들로부터 전송된 신호의 세기를 기반으로 재전송이 필요한 사용자들을 분류하고 이 사용자들만 중계기를 통해 재전송되도록 한다. 두 번째 전송단계에서는 중계기에서 재전송이 필요한 사용자들 중 일부 사용자들의 정보를 결합하여 기지국으로 재전송한다. 기지국에서는 앞의 두 전송단계를 통해 수신된 신호를 바탕으로 모든 사용자들의 정보를 복호한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 비트오율(BER) 성능을 보인다.

An energy-efficiency approach for bidirectional amplified-and-forward relaying with asymmetric traffic in OFDM systems

  • Two-way relaying is an effective way of improving system spectral efficiency by making use of physical layer network coding. However, energy efficiency in OFDM-based bidirectional relaying with asymmetric traffic requirement has not been investigated. In this study, we focused on subcarrier transmission mode selection, bit loading, and power allocation in a multicarrier single amplified-and-forward relay system. In this scheme, each subcarrier can operate in two transmission modes: one-way relaying and two-way relaying. The problem is formulated as a mixed integer programming problem. We adopt a structural approximation optimization method that first decouples the original problem into two suboptimal problems with fixed subcarrier subsets and then finds the optimal subcarrier assignment subsets. Although the suboptimal problems are nonconvex, the results obtained for a single-tone system are used to transform them to convex problems. To find the optimal subcarrier assignment subsets, an iterative algorithm based on subcarrier ranking and matching is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed method can improve system performance compared with conventional methods. Some interesting insights are also obtained via simulation.

  • In this paper, a cluster-based routing protocol in distributed sensor network is proposed, which enable the balanced energy consumption in the sensor nodes densely deployed in the sensor fields. This routing protocol is implemented based on clusters with hierarchical scheme. The clusters are formed by the closely located sensor nodes. A cluster node with maximum residual energy in the cluster, can be selected as cluster head node. In routing, one of the nodes in the intersection area between two clusters is selected as a relay-node and this method can extend the lifetime of all the sensor nodes in view of the balanced consumption of communication energy.

  • The setting of protective relays, which is critical to the power system security and reliability, requires a huge volume of data processing and repetitive calculation. Since it has been performed by relay engineers manually, it is vulnerable to human errors, its computerization has been pursued, in which the efficient management of the data is the key to the success. The database for power system protection must accommodate not only the power system network data but also a variety of protective devices. Also its information should be able to be viewed and updated with easy by operators and by computer programs. This paper describes several existing database designs for power system protection, their advantages and disadvantages. Also this paper has identified the required function and designed the database for the KEPCO power system data structure for the benefit of the relay setting process, etc..

Energy-Aware Video Coding Selection for Solar-Powered Wireless Video Sensor Networks

  • A wireless image sensor node collecting image data for environmental monitoring or surveillance requires a large amount of energy to transmit the huge amount of video data. Even though solar energy can be used to overcome the energy constraint, since the collected energy is also limited, an efficient energy management scheme for transmitting a large amount of video data is needed. In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the number of blackout nodes and increase the amount of gathered data by selecting an appropriate video coding method according to the energy condition of the node in a solar-powered wireless video sensor network. This scheme allocates the amount of energy that can be used over time in order to seamlessly collect data regardless of night or day, and selects a high compression coding method when the allocated energy is large and a low compression coding when the quota is low. Thereby, it reduces the blackout of the relay node and increases the amount of data obtained at the sink node by allowing the data to be transmitted continuously. Also, if the energy is lower than operating normaly, the frame rate is adjusted to prevent the energy exhaustion of nodes. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme suppresses the energy exhaustion of the relay node and collects more data than other schemes.

  • Currently the credit card settlement system which is used from off-line credit card joining point is composed of the credit card settlement terminal, the VAN company which do settlement relay service and the credit card company. When the credit card company occurs obstacle, the service VAN company executes as proxy an approval and it controls. When the service VAN company occurs obstacle, the credit card settlement service does not become accomplished in the normality. The dissertation which it sees when the service VAN company occurs obstacle, the possibility of doing a settlement relay service from the different VAN company in order to be, proposed the credit card settlement system which uses the Switching Agent.

  • The provision of location tracking for mobile agents is designed to deliver a message to a moving object in a network. Most tracking methods exploit relay stations that hold location information to forward messages to a target mobile agent. In this paper, we propose an efficient location tracking method for mobile agents using the domain-based proxy as a relay station. Mobile agents can reduce the length of their migration paths by visiting hosts in the same domain first, rather than selecting hosts randomly. The proposed method exploits the domain-based moving patterns of mobile agents and minimizes registration and message delivery costs. Since the long proxy chain can contribute to the high message delivery cost, we also propose a compressing method to reduce the message delivery cost.
