유아의 수줍음과 교사-유아 관계 간의 관계에 대한 유아 언어능력의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Children's Verbal Ability in the Relation Between a Child's Shyness and Teacher-Child Relationships in Kindergarten)

  • Objective: The purpose of the present study was to explore the moderating role of children's verbal ability in the relation between shyness and teacher-child relationships. Methods: Participants were 200 children, their mothers, and their kindergarten teachers. Children's shyness was rated by their mothers and teachers, and children's verbal ability was measured using the language problem solving ability test. And teachers completed a rating scale in order to examine the teacher-child relationship. The collected data were analyzed using correlations and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results: Children's shyness had a negative relation to close teacher-child relationships. And child's verbal ability was significantly related to teacher-child relationships. Hierachical regression analysis indicted to the interaction of child's shyness and verbal ability predicted close teacher-child relationships. Children's shyness, those who demonstrated the lowest level of child's verbal ability, was significantly associated with close teacher-child relationships. Children's shyness had no significant relation to close teacher-child relationships, especially for the highest level of children's verbal ability. Conclusion/Implications: We suggested that verbal ability training for children might be valuable for shy children in order to buffer the link between shyness and teacher-child relationships.

부모의 양육행동과 청소년의 외로움 : 또래관계의 질의 매개효과 (Linking Parenting to Loneliness in Adolescents : The Mediating Effects of the Quality of Peer Relationships)

  • This study examined the relationship between parenting, the quality of peer relationships, and loneliness in adolescents. This study also examined the mediating effects of the quality of peer relationships on the relationship between parenting and adolescents' loneliness. A total of 506 1st and 2nd grade middle school students (261 boys and 245 girls) from the Seoul Metropolitan area completed measures of parenting, the quality of their peer relationships, and loneliness. The results indicated that adolescents' perceptions of parenting and the quality of their peer relationships were significantly related to their feelings of loneliness. Specifically, adolescents' perceptions of low levels of parental monitoring and high levels of abusive and neglectful parenting were associated with high levels of loneliness. Adolescents who perceived the quality of their peer relationships to be low reported high levels of loneliness. Further, the quality of peer relationships mediated the relationship between parenting and adolescents' loneliness; however, the pattern of associations differed for boys and girls. These findings suggest that both parent and peer relationship factors should be considered in combination in order to better explain loneliness in adolescents.

신학 시소러스 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on Constructing Theological Thesaurus)

  • 신학 시소러스의 개념 관계를 구축하기 위해서 용어를 영어 신학사전과 성경에서 주로 추출하였다. 추출한 용어들을 대상으로 시소러스의 가장 기본적인 관계 유형인 등가관계, 계층관계, 연관관계를 구축하였다. 등가 관계에서 특징적인 것은 히브리어, 그리스어, 라틴어 우선어가 포함되었으며, 계층관계에서는 속종관계, 사례관계, 전체-부분 관계, 다중계층 관계로 세분화되었다. 또한 신학 시소러스의 개념 관계의 유형에 있어서는 다른 주제 영역의 시소러스와 큰 차이를 보이지는 않았다. 이 논문에서는 성경 신학과 연관된 관계 유형의 실제 사례들을 주로 제시하였다. 그 이유는 성경 신학이 성경과 기독교 신학 전체를 포괄적인 관점에서 파악할 수 있는 장점이 있기 때문이다. 이와 관련해서 신학 시소러스의 개념 관계의 특징 중의 하나는 비유적 표현의 용어가 상당히 많았다는 점이다. 이러한 결과가 나온 주된 이유는 구약에서 예표된 내용이 신약에서 성취되는 성경의 핵심적 구조 때문이다.

이중관계에 대한 사회복지사들의 신념과 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Beliefs and Experiences Related to Dual Relationships among Social Workers)

  • This article investigates 295 social workers in order to find out how much they believe that each behavior related to dual relationships is ethical and with how many clients they engaged in these behaviors. This article, based on the literature, explores three areas of dual relationships which are sexual, bartering, and private dual relationships. The results from the research were 1) The social workers tend to believe that while sexual and bartering dual relationships are less ethical, private dual relationships are more ethical. Meanwhile, they have little experience to engage in all areas of dual relationships; 2) Compared to beliefs and experiences, the social workers believe that each behavior is ethical, but they have less experienced the same behavior. However, the result of strong correlations between beliefs and experiences shows that the more the social workers believe that the behaviors are ethical, the more they tend to engage in the behaviors; 3) Based on socio-demographic characteristics, male social workers tend to accept dual relationships as ethical behavior than their female counterparts do. And those who are practicing in health settings tend to believe that the behaviors related to dual relationships are less ethical than those who are practicing in the other areas of the profession do. Finally, the research recommends that enhancing social worker's self-awareness and professional maturity is needed in order to prevent the occurrence of dual relationship engagement. Also, social work professional associations and agencies should provide education, training, and institutional restrictive devices for dealing with unethical dual relationships.

정신장애인의 긍정적 인지와 정서, 사회적 관계, 대처가 회복에 미치는 영향의 관계 구조 탐색 (Structural Exploration of the Effects of Positive Cognition and Emotions, Social Relationship, and Coping on the Sense of Recovery of Persons with Psychiatric Disabilities)

  • 정신장애인의 회복은 정신건강상태, 긍정적 인지와 정서, 친한 사람의 수와 그 관계의 질 등 개인적, 사회적 자원을 활용하여 대처하는 중 형성되고, 이는 주관적 경험뿐 아니라 장기적 조사에 의해 지지된다. 회복을 촉진하기 위해 이 요인들 간의 유기적인 관계를 밝혀 사회복지실천 방법을 발전시킬 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 460명의 지역사회 거주 정신장애인들의 낙관성, 정신건강상태, 정서, 사회적 관계의 양과 질, 대처가 어떠한 관계를 통해 회복에 영향을 주는지 구조방정식모형을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 첫째, 이론모형의 경로파악 결과 낙관성과 정서가 사회적 관계, 대처, 회복에 영향력을 행사한 한편, 정서는 대처에, 정신건강상태와 사회적 관계는 회복에 유의한 영향이 없었다. 둘째, 낙관성과 긍정적 정서는 회복에 직접 효과를 보이고, 양적, 질적 사회관계는 회복에 간접효과만 보였다. 낙관성보다는 긍정적 정서가 양적, 질적 사회관계에 직접 및 간접효과를 보이고, 회복에 더 큰 효과를 나타냈다. 끝으로, 낙관성과 회복, 양적관계와 회복, 질적 관계와 회복 각각의 관계에서는 대처가, 긍정적 정서와 대처 간에는 질적, 양적 관계가, 그리고 양적관계와 대처 간에는 질적 관계가 부분적 매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과에 따라 정신장애인의 회복에 영향을 미치는 긍정적 인지와 정서, 사회적 관계의 상이한 기제, 이들 자원과 대처, 회복의 관계에 대해 논의하고 사회복지실천 및 연구를 위한 함의를 제언하였다.

아동의 방과 후 자기보호와 문제행동과의 관계에서 어머니 지지 및 지역사회 환경의 중재효과 (Moderating Effects of Mother's Support and Community Environment on Relationships Between After School Self-Care and Problem Behavior)

  • This study examined moderating effects of mother's support and community environment on relationships between after school self-care and problem behaviors. Subjects were 579 3rd and 6th grade elementary school children. Major findings were positive relationships between after school self-care and problem behaviors. Neither gender differences nor grade differences were found in the relationships between after school self-care and problem behaviors. Moderating effects of care by relatives or neighbors on mother's support was shown in the relationships between after school self-care and internal problem behaviors. Moderating effects of proximity to harmful facilities were found in relationships between after school self-care and external problem behaviors.

학령기 아동의 기질, 어머니의 온정성 및 아동의 학업적 자기효능감이 또래관계의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's Temperaments, Maternal Warmth, and Children's Academic Competence on the Quality of Children's Peer Relationships)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the pathway in which children characteristics, maternal warmth, and children's academic competence affect the quality of children's peer relationships. A total of 291 children (Mage=11.4) responded to questionnaires DOTS-R (Windle & Lerner, 1986), MBRI (Schaefer, 1959), Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (Kim & Park, 2002), and FQQ (Parker & Asher, 1993). Data were analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling. Our results indicated that children's academic competence fully mediated the association between temperament and the quality of peer relationships, whereas it was a partial mediator in relations between maternal warmth and the quality of peer relationships. A difference in terms of gender was also present in this path model. In conclusion, children's temperaments and maternal warmth affected the quality of peer relationships both directly and indirectly through children's academic competence.

  • The purpose of this study is to review Korean literature concerning sibling relationships during the last three decades and investigate facts and trends, research issues, and pragmatic and policy issues related to sibling relationship development. Most of the past research has been concerned with the effects of sibling status/structure variables on siblings' individual differences in intellectual, social and personality characteristics. In recent years, however, considerable attention has been focused on the interpersonal relationships between siblings and the factors influencing such relationships. More specifically, sibling relationships and adjustment of siblings of children with disabilities begin to draw attention of researchers and practitioners. This review consists mainly of two parts : one on siblings of children with no disabilities and the other on siblings with one disabled child.

  • This study explored the relationship between children's emotional competence, aggression and peer relationships. Participants were 164 third and 134 fourth grade children from five elementary schools in Seoul and Chenan. Emotional competence, aggression and peer relationships were assessed by means of a questionnaire, interview and observation. Results indicated that emotional understanding of self and others, sex, age, emotional expression and passive regulation strategies were significant variables in predicting children's aggression. Emotional understanding was the most predictable variable in relation to peer relationships. Emotional understanding, emotional regulation and emotional expression made independent contributions to aggression and peer relationships. Mediation analyses revealed that the significant connections between children's emotional competence and negative peer relationships were mostly mediated by aggression.

정부소유 은행관계와 기업 경영성과 (Government-owned Bank Relationships and Firm Performance)

  • This paper examines the relationships between the Korean government-owned banks and the firm performance. We investigates this empirical analysis using a data set containing virtually all Korean publicly listed firms for the period of 2004-2006. We find the negative relationships between government-owned banks and firm performance. The strong relationships between the Korean government-owned banks and the Korean listed firms may lower firm performance. The Hold up costs may be present in the government-owned bank relationships. The government-owned bank relationships in the Korean listed firms may could shape the negative management decisions and firm performance. On the lines of concerns on the impact of government banks, this paper will provide new evidences on the impact of government-ownership of banks on the Korean Economy. Particularly, empirical analyses in this paper revealed new evidences on the recent firm-bank relationship or government banks researches.
