  • Sufficient conditions are given under which a generalized class of kernel-type estimators allows asymptotic approximation On the modulus of continuity This generalized class includes sample distribution function, kernel-type estimator of density function, and an estimator that may apply to the censored case. In addition, an application is given to asymptotic normality of recursive density estimators of density function at an unknown point.

  • In the last two decades, many researchers proposed various usages of the orthogonal functions such as Walsh, Haar and BPF to solve the system analysis, optimal control, and identification problems from and algebraic form. In this paper, a simple procedure to design and algerbraic observer for the descriptor system is presented by using block pulse function expansions. The main characteristic of this technique is that it converts differential observer equation into an algerbraic equation. And furthermore, a simple recursive algorithm is proposed to obtain BPFs coefficients of the observer equation.

재귀형 최소 자승법을 이용한 자기 위치 센서의 실시간 보상 방법 (On-line Compensation Method for Magnetic Position Sensor using Recursive Least Square Method)

  • This paper presents the error correction method of magnetic position sensor using recursive least square method (RLSM) with forgetting factor. Magnetic position sensor is proposed for linear position detection of the linear motor which has tooth shape stator, consists of permanent magnet, iron core and linear hall sensor, and generates sine and cosine waveforms according to the movement of the mover of the linear motor. From the output of magnetic position sensor, the position of the linear motor can be detected using arc-tan function. But the variation of the air gap between magnetic position sensor and the stator and the error in manufacturing process can cause the variation in offset, phase and amplitude of the generated waveforms when the linear motor moves. These variations in sine and cosine waveforms are changed according to the current linear motor position, and it is very difficult to compensate the errors using constant value. In this paper, the generated sine and cosine waveforms from the magnetic position sensor are compensated on-line using the RLSM with forgetting factor. And the speed observer is introduced to reduce the effect of uncompensated harmonic component. The approaches are verified by some simulations and experiments.

엔드밀 가공시 절삭력을 이용한 공구날 주파수 분석법 (An Analysis on the Tooth Passing Frequency using End-milling Force)

  • The mode analysis of end-milling was introduced using recursive parametric modeling. Also, a numerical mode analysis of FRF in end-milling at different conditions was performed systematically. In this regard, a REIVM(recursive extended instrumental variable method) modeling algorithm was adopted and natural modes of real and imaginary part were discussed. This recursive approach can be used for the on-line system identification and monitoring of an end-milling for this purpose. For acquiring a cutting force, an experimental practice was performed. And these end-milling forces were used for the calculation of FRF(Frequency response function) and its mode analysis. Also, the FRF was analysed for the prediction of end-milling system. As a results, this algorithm was successful in each condition for the detection of natural modes of end-milling. After numerical analysis of the FRF, the tooth passing frequency was discriminated in their FRF, power spectrum and mode calculation.

  • In this paper, a direct addressing mode of a microprocessor is introduced to save memory capacity, and also a dedicated digital filter is constructed to speed up the filter processing and to enable an easy selection of the impulse response types. A theoretical analysis has been conducted on the errors caused by the finite word klength, rounding-off and multiplication procedures. The digital filter designed by the proposed method is made into a module which can function as a 7th-order recursive or a 14-order nonrecursive type with a simples witch operation. The proposed filter is implemented on a printed-circuit board. The frequency characteristics of this filter can be controlled by the multiplication values stored in ROMs. A low-pass, a high-pass and a band-pass filter have been designed and their frequency characteristics are verified by actual measurements. For a order higher filer, two filter modules have been cascaded into an integrated filter of 23rd-order non-recursive low-pass type and a 12th-order recursive multiband type. Their frequency characteirstics have been found to agree with the theory.

재귀적 수치 계산법을 적용한 모바일 폰용 광각 광학계 설계 (Wide-angle Optical Module Design for Mobile Phone Camera Using Recursive Numerical Computation Method)

  • 재귀적 수치 계산법을 적용하여 모바일 폰용 카메라 광학 모듈의 기초 설계를 진행하였다. 38도의 반각 필드에 대한 결상 성능을 높이기 위하여 6개의 비구면 렌즈로 광학계를 구성하였으며, 소형 기기인 모바일 폰에서의 적용성을 높이기 위하여 전체 길이는 5 mm로 제한하였다. 기초설계에서 얻은 데이터를 바탕으로 Zemax 설계 툴을 사용하여 최적화 설계를 진행하였으며, 최적화된 광학계의 결상 성능은 280 lines/mm 패턴에 대한 modulation transfer function (MTF) 값이 19% 이상이고 다파장 광선에 대한 상 왜곡도는 최대 1.0% 이내임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 논문을 통하여 재귀적 수치 계산법을 사용한 소형 모바일 폰 카메라의 기초설계가 가능함을 검증할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, a new GPC(Generalized Predictive Control) algorithm which is robust to disturbances isproposed. This controller minimizes the LQ cost function when the disturbance maximizes this cost function. The solution is obtained from the min-max problem which can be solved by differential game theory and has the non-recursive form which does not use the Riccati equation. Its another solution for state space models is investigated.

반복등화를 위한 LLR 연판정 비트 정보를 이용한 M-QAM 심벌 Remapping (M-QAM Symbol Remapping Using LLR Soft Bit Information for Iterative Equalization)

  • 본 논문에서는 반복 복호 후 얻게 되는 LLR(Log Likelihood Ratio)로 표현되는 연판정 비트 정보를 이용하여 송신된 BRGC(Binary Reflected Gray Code) M-QAM(M-ary Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) 신호 심벌을 remapping하는 방법을 제시한다. Remapping하기 위해서는 지수함수(exponential function)연산이나 하이퍼블릭 탄젠트(tanh) 함수를 이용하여야 한다. BRGC의 맵핑 법칙에 의해 심벌 remapping은 재귀(recursive) 연산을 이용한다. 또한, 구현 복잡도를 줄이기 위하여 curve fitting 방식을 제안한다.
