  • The architecture environment has changed. The corresponding design criteria should be changed. From July 27th, 2005 the Korea Standard of the fire door changed concerning the smoke resistance test which made the door gap structure more elaborate. However the National Fire Safety Codes are applied by the old data's of England. Which in case differs in the actual construction to the blue print, making the safety standard too excessive. Analyze the results and the phenomenon that occurs due to the difference between design and reality. The National Fire Safety Codes should be revised to leakage crack calculation is presented. Difference of the air flow for the smoke protection due to the stack effect analyzed. Living patterns and evacuation patterns of the apartment reflect and reasonable air flow measurement method are presented.

  • In this study, in light of the reality that the need for systematic development of military service resource management and alternative service discipline / switching service discipline has been discussed for illegal liquidation of military service obligations (Tekketsu) in connection with the military service system, and pluralistic it is assumed judgment if centralized military manpower administration (MMA) the recruitment structure that is, military service resource management that to effectively manage. Military service resources decision to systematic management of resources military service, military service of centralized resource management that MMA is the center, the efficiency of the plan. It is determined that it can improve the precision, thereby increasing and the resource-specific Service Discipline instruction, fairness to ensure consistency in the resource management of Alternate Service Discipline / Switching Service Discipline among, high quality and accessibility of such people petition I thought there may be a service provider is realized, that centralization of MMA is also realized, trying to allo improved fairness associated with the performance of military service obligation. Therefore, in this study, we are exploring a scheme that is able to achieve the unification of the human resource management of military service entity to perform the duty of national defense.

  • Internal air temperature of greenhouse is an important variable that can be influenced by the complex interaction between outside weather and greenhouse inside climate. This paper focuses on a data-based model approach to predict internal air temperature of the greenhouse. External air temperature, solar radiation, wind speed and wind direction were measured next to an experimental greenhouse supported by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute and used as input variables for the model. Internal air temperature was measured at the center of three sections of the greenhouse and used as an output variable. The proposed model consisted of a transfer function including the four input variables and tested the prediction accuracy according to the sampling interval of the input variables, the orders of model polynomials and the time delay variable. As a result, a second-order model was suitable to predict the internal air temperature having the predictable time of 20-30 minutes and average errors of less than ${\pm}1K$. Afterwards mechanistic interpretation was conducted based on the energy balance equation, and it was found that the resulting model was considered physically acceptable and satisfied the physical reality of the heat transfer phenomena in a greenhouse. The proposed data-based model approach is applicable to any input variables and is expected to be useful for predicting complex greenhouse microclimate involving environmental control systems.

  • Due to intelligent transport systems, location-based applications, and augmented reality, demand for image maps and 3D (Three-Dimensional) maps is increasing. As a result, data acquisition using UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) has flourished in recent years. However, even though orthophoto map production and research using UAVs are flourishing, few studies on 3D modeling have been conducted. In this study, orthophoto and 3D modeling research was performed using various angle images acquired by a UAV. For orthophotos, accuracy was evaluated using a GPS (Global Positioning System) survey that employed VRS (Virtual Reference Station) acquired checkpoints. 3D modeling was evaluated by calculating the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) of the difference between the outline height values of buildings obtained from the GPS survey to the corresponding 3D modeling height values. The orthophotos satisfied the acceptable accuracy of NGII (National Geographic Information Institute) for a 1/500 scale map from all angles. In the case of 3D modeling, models based on images taken at 45 degrees revealed better accuracy of building outlines than models based on images taken at 30, 60, or 75 degrees. To summarize, it was shown that for orthophotos, the accuracy for 1/500 maps was satisfied at all angles; for 3D modeling, images taken at 45 degrees produced the most accurate models.

  • With the development of the game industry, 'games about games,' which examine the identity of game itself through a form of the game, emerged with a variety of shapes. Thus, this paper aims to suggest a definition, characteristics, and meaning of 'meta game.' Firstly, meta games strengthen the artificiality of the games and suggest procedurality through a form of the game play. Meta games also utilize the external context as a part of the games, and use the metaphor of 'labyrinth' to identify a feature of the game space. Furthermore, they emphasize intertextuality and prove that the fantasy and the reality can merge within the game world. In conclusion, meta games prove themselves to be independent expressional arts and experimental content, and suggest the potential for an alternative medium beyond formality.

  • Recently, there has been demand for the convergence of IT (Information and communication Technologies, ICT) with defense, as has already been achieved in civilian fields such as healthcare and construction. It is expected that completely new and common requirements would emerge from the civilian and military domains and that the shape of war field would change rapidly. Many military scientists forecast that future wars would be network-centric and be based on C4I(Command, Control, Communication & Computer, Intelligence), ISR(Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), and PGM(Precision Guided Munitions). For realizing the smart defense concept, IT should act as a baseline technology even for simulating a real combat field using virtual reality. In this paper, we propose the concept of IT-based smart defense with a focus on accurate detection in real and cyber wars, effective data communication, automated and unmanned operation, and modeling and simulation.

  • With the distribution modernization policy advanced by the government and consumers preference toward it, the so called "modern market" has undergone rapid growth. Conversely, traditional market is losing popularity with consumers as a result of inadequate modern structures, small market size, convoluted relationships, inefficient operation and disordered transactions, among others. Therefore, this study seeks to utilize ubiquitous computing, that is, the upgrade of context aware information to 6W1H and promote the market through the interface with Smartphone and provide advanced information through the augmented reality technology. For the construction of context-aware system using user context, the results may significantly differ according to how reference rules are applied to and implemented on knowledge base. In light of above, through the use of RFID technology and 6W1H context awareness, we seek to promote traditional markets.

  • This study analyzed the process of mourning for aging in the film 'Miss Granny' in a convergent method. In exploring the contents of the movie repeatedly and interpreting the feeling of loss of old age in aging process as mourning process, I explored them in a psychoanalytic way. In other words, in a psychoanalytic method, I analyzed the aging process as a process of reinterpreting life and the change in developmental attitude toward the future life as a psychological world of mourning. The results of the study show that the process of mourning follows 'loss and deficiency', 'escape and regression', 'disidentification and decentralization', and 'adaptation to the new reality'. Based on these results, this research suggests that the counselor should not only focus on creating a psychological mood environment so that the client's mourning work will be smooth, but also should be able to use a complex counseling technique to improve the mental ability of the client.

  • This paper proposes a link adaptation method for Underwater Internet of Things (IoT), which reduces power consumption of sensor nodes and improves the throughput of network in underwater IoT network. Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) technique is one of link adaptation methods. AMC uses the strong correlation between Signal Noise Rate (SNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER), but it is difficult to apply in underwater IoT as it is. Therefore, we propose the machine learning based AMC technique for underwater environments. The proposed Modulation Coding and Scheme (MCS) prediction model predicts transmission method to achieve target BER value in underwater channel environment. It is realistically difficult to apply the predicted transmission method in real underwater communication in reality. Thus, this paper uses the high accuracy BER prediction model to measure the performance of MCS prediction model. Consequently, the proposed AMC technique confirmed the applicability of machine learning by increase the probability of communication success.
