  • 본 논문에서는 real-time환경에서 abnormal task를 자동 검출하여 시스템 overload 및 오 동작을 사전에 검출할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방안은 context switching이 발생하는 시점에서 각task들의 cpu 점유율 및 context switching 횟수를 분석하여 비정상적으로 높은 cpu 점유율을 가지는 task와 과도한 context switching을 일으켜 시스템에 overload를 주는 task들을 자동으로 검출한다. 이들 이용하여 신뢰성 있는 real-time시스템 설계 및 구현을 지원할 수 있다.

  • Image Processing은 Image Data가 대량이고 내재된 정보가 병렬로 연관성을 가진다는 측면에서 실시간 처리가 용이하지 알다. 본 연구에서는 High Speed Real Time Image Processing을 위한 IPU(Image Processing Unit)와 이를 구동하기 위한 High Speed Real Time image Processing Language인 IPASM(Image Processing Assembly)을 제안한다. 우선 IPU의 기본개념을 설명하고 IPU의 구현을 위한 IPLU(Image Processing Logic Unit)를 설계한다. 그 후 Window98환경에서 구동 가능한 IPASM Interpreter를 실제로 제작하여 IPU의 동작방식을 간접적으로 진단한다.

  • In this paper, a real-time control system for robot manipulator is implemented using real-time operating system with capabilities of multitasking, intertask communication and synchronization, event-driven, priority-driven scheduling, real-time clock control, etc. The hardware system with VME bus and related devices is developed and applied to implement a dynamic learning control scheme for robot manipulator. Real-time performance of the proposed dynamic learning controller is tested for tasks of tracking moving objects and compared with the conventional servo controller.

  • The moving average filter in this paper, which has robust performance to the noise and can be easily implementable in hardware, is modified in view of real-time processing of the focus value. The simple hardware configurations are implemented to calculate the focus value in real-time. The stable controller of focus lens actuated by motors are designed. The hardware which are composed of EPLD, cheap vision chips, and CPU etc. are designed to perform the real-time calculation of focus value.

  • In this paper, a realization of a real-time train information system(TIS) is discussed. The requirements of TIS which satisfy real-time constraints are analyzed in view of data transfer. For efficient data communication in TIS, a new network system is suggested and its real-time characteristics are analyzed and compared with the standard network system. A local unit is designed based on VMEbus system.

  • This article presents a new acceleration/deceleration method for real-time control of autonomous mobile robots. In this method, a function which produces the table of acceleration/deceleration in real-time is proposed. This function, while satisfying the basic concept of mechanics, can choose both various ranges of velocity and distance ranges for the selected velocities. Moreover it can control motors with real time. This function is convenient to be realized by programming. and it is faster than other functions because it can be made by assembly language.

  • We present CReMeS, a CORBA-compliant design and implementation of a new real-time communication service. It provide for of a new real-time communication service. It provide for efficient, predictable, and scalable communication between information producers and consumers. Experimental results demonstrate that CReMeS can achieve better performance, predictability and scalability than a Real-Time implementaion of the CORBA Event Service.

  • In this paper, we introduce the real-time skier-training software using DGPS. We used a PCS to receive the pseudorange correction messages from the reference station. We tested the performance of this system and could get a skier's position in real-time with high accuracy. It can help skier-trainers to monitor a skier's trajectory and teach him mote effectively This paper will show you how the system works and prove it has good performance.

  • This study develops an analytical model for the delay analysis of real-time data in the token-passing service of Foundation Fieldbus(FF). Using the analytical model, this study proposes a network design scheme of FF Two design criteria are introduced in this study; one is the average delay of real-time data, and the other is the maximum allowable delay of real-time data. The network design scheme determines the network parameters that satisfies the performance requirements given by these design criteria.

  • PATM(Probabilistic Abstract Timed Machine) [1]은 시스템의 진행 중 다양한 환경 요인에 의해 발생하는 불확실성을 명세하기 위해 개발된 정형 명세 기법이다. PATM으로 명세한 시스템은 도달성 그래프를 분석하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 물리적 환경 요소를 고려하여 시스템을 분석하는 과정에서 발생하는 실행모델의 복잡도를 줄이기 위한 방법을 제시한다.
