The purpose of this study is to evaluate usefulness of Hybrid image and Inverse image about detection of tumor shadow in chest radiography using ROC analysis. Original images of 60 cases are selected from Standards digital image date base issued by the Japanese Society of Radiological Technology. Through computer language of C, Inverse images of 60 cases and Hybrid image of 30 cases are made. The continues reading experiment was conducted. In the case of inverse image were observed by 5 radiographer and 2 radiologist. In the case of In case of Hybrid image were observed by 3 student radiographer and 2 experienced radiographer. ROC curve are constructed using ROCKIT Program made by Metz. In Inverse image, a Az of average ROC curve was increases from 0.742 of original image to 0.775 of inverse image. In normal cases, the effect of the detrimental is same to that of the beneficial, however In abnormal cases, the beneficial effect is greater than detrimental effect. However in Hybrid image, a Az of average ROC curve was decreases from 0.5253 of original image to 0.4868 of Hybrid image. In Normal cases, the effect of the detrimental is greater than that of the Beneficial, however In abnormal cases, the Beneficial effect is greater than detrimental effect. The inverse image can be more positively considered for the detecting of tumor than the hybrid image.
The purpose of this study is to investigate 5th grade elementary school girls' effort to recognize and use nutritional labels on processed foods and restaurant meals to encourage dietary behavior. The subjects (n=976) were divided into three groups (effort group, n=711; normal group, n=193; and no-effort group, n=72) depending on level of effort for the healthy dietary behavior such as eating balanced meals, eating three meals regularly, and eating meals slowly. In the effort group, the frequency of food intake for breads, ramen, noodles and fast foods was significantly lower, while frequency of food intake for fruits and vegetables and salad was significantly higher than in the other two groups. In the effort group, the ratio of the respondents that perception of nutrition labeling on processed foods and restaurant meals was 80.5% and 31.4% and the ratio of girls who checked the nutrition labeling at their point of purchase was 71.1% and 24.7%, respectively. Reasons given for not reading nutrition labeling for restaurant meals were 'not interested' for 34.6% of the effort group, and 52.2% of the no-effort group. Therefore, it is necessary to create an educational program on healthy dietary behavior, including how to read nutrition labeling and establishment of proper body image perception for elementary school girls.
Semiotics studies the structures and systems of all signs related to human life, thus being capable of analyzing games. "Playing games" can be deemed as an act of reading or interpreting games semiotically, which makes game producers "senders," games "texts," gamers "receivers," and gamers playing games "contexts." Since most games are in the multi-variable narrative format, however, it is not a frequent case that gamers interpret games in the ways intended by producers. This study thus set out to analyze and interpret the console game (2001) remembered as the same evaluation by many gamers in the way intended by the producer. For analysis, the study defined its story program by analyzing the plot and sequence. For semantic analysis, the study applied the Actor Model and the Semiotic Square Model to interpret . The process identified such codes as confrontation, assistance, collaboration, and control and confirmed that Ico and Yorda, non-subject characters, were transforming into subject ones. That is, tells a story of the main characters that used to lead a non-subject life earning lives of their own.
This study aimed at designing an effective earth science instruction which would help to improve students' scientific creativity using the questioning strategies. The developed questioning strategies were applied to 153 students of $10^{th}{\sim}11^{th}$ grades from March, 2004 to February, 2006. The Reaction Evaluation of Educational Program was used for students' reponses on these questioning strategies. And the Creativity Test developed by the Korea Institute for Aptitude Test was used for the changes of students' scientific creativity. The students responded that these questioning strategies improved students' scientific creativity, and those did not promoted interaction between the teacher and the students. After implementing these questioning strategies, students' analogical ability of language was evaluated the largest score among the 6 categories of scientific creativity. The survey about students' scientific creativity showed that there are meaningful differences between before and after implementing these questioning strategies : analogical ability of figure, analogical ability of language, reading comprehension ability.

The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the Home Economics(HE) Flipped Problem-Based Learning(FPBL) education plans focusing on 'food selection and storage' unit for middle school students. The results of this study are as follows. First, middle school students who participated in the class had mainly experienced lecture-style classes previously, but they preferred group activity classes to lecture-style classes. Their 'preferred on-line class tools' was 'Miricanvas', and the 'helpful on-line class tools for learning' was 'Tinkerbell'. Second, the HE FPBL education plan was designed and developed to conduct block time classes, twice a week for 3 weeks by applying the '13 stages of FPBL'. The main topic of the class is "food selection and storage that protects health and the environment". The practical and unstructured problems in the FPBL was to participate in the 'Food Selection and Storage to Protect Health and Environment' mission development contest of a TV entertainment program. Learning materials(stepping video, reading materials, activity sheets, and evaluation tools for process-based evaluation) were developed. The 206 senior students at a middle school in Haeundae-gu, Busan, took the class for three weeks and evaluated it as a good class that helps them learn, is satisfactory, interesting, and suitable, leads to class participation, and is differentiated from other teaching methods.

Because the arm can't be sutured due to fracture during a elbow CT scan, a CT scan is proceeded in a state of abdomen and L-spire are overlapped which beam hardening artifact is done many times, and it often lowers the quality of elbow CT images. So there are many difficulties in reading and due to increase in radiation dose from it, the number of patient's exposure keeps increasing. In this research, it plans to improve the quality of the images by avoiding overlap with abdomen, and increasing the number of photon overlapped with lung field which the line attenuation is relatively small. The way of experiment is based on patient's right elbow and place him as head first position, then place his elbow at L2-3 level in supine position, turn about 30 degrees to the left in non-control breathing and in supine position, and compared with full inspiration after overlapping with lung. After figuring out the average value and standard deviation data using Image J program 5 times each for 16, 128 channels, the evaluation is proceeded by measuring each of CNR, MSR are statistically analyzed using SPSS program. Therefore, through positioning and inspiration during elbow CT scan, the way of inspection minimized the exposure radiation dose, and seems to be meaningful in a way to improve the quality of the images.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents and designs of the developed 22 teaching and programs for the gifted students in elementary mathematics. The focus of the analysis were the participants and the characteristics of the contents, and were to reflect them on the areas of the 7th elementary mathematics curriculum and Renzulli's Enrichment Triad Model. The results of the study as follows: First, the programs for the low grade gifted students are very few compared to those of the high grade students. For earlier development of the young gifted students, we need to develop more programs for the young gifted students. Second, there are many programs in the area of geometry, whereas few programs are developed in the area of measurement. We need to develop programs in the various areas such as measurement, probability and statistics, and patterns and representations. Third, most programs do not follow the steps of the Renzulli's Enrichment Triad Model, and the frequency of appearance of the steps are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd enrichments, sequentially. We need to develop hierarchical programs in which the sequency and relations are well orchestrated. Fourth, the frequency of appearance is as follows as sequentially: types of exploration of topics, creative problem solving, using materials, project types, and types of games and puzzles. In the development of structure of the program, the following factors should be considered: name of the chapter, overview of the chapter, objectives, contents by steps, evaluation, reading materials, and extra materials.
This study aims to analyze the relationship between scientific content knowledge of science-gifted elementary students and their expression of scientific creativity, and the characteristics of divided groups according to the levels of their scientific content knowledge and scientific creativity. A science-gifted program was implemented to 33 forth-graders in the Science-Gifted Education Center of an education office in Seoul, Korea. The method of evaluating scientific knowledge was divided into well-structured paper-pencil test (asking specific and limited range of content knowledge of plants) and ill-structured descriptive test (stating all the knowledge they know about plants) to find out which methods were more related to scientific creativity. In addition, in order to find out the characteristics of each group according to the level of scientific content knowledge and scientific creativity, students were required to answer a questionnaire about their own self-perception of scientific knowledge and scientific creativity and how to obtain scientific knowledge. The main results of this study are as follows. First, Both well-structured paper-pencil test (r=.38) and ill-structured descriptive test (r=.51) results of elementary science gifted students were significantly correlated with scientific creativity. Second, As a result of the regression analysis on scientific creativity of science-gifted elementary students, both the knowledge measured by the two evaluation methods have the ability to explain scientific creativity. Third, the students were categorized into four groups according to the levels of their scientific content knowledge and their expression of scientific creativity, and the result showed that the higher the knowledge of science, the higher the scientific creativity. Fourth, the description about self-perception of scientific knowledge revealed that the highest percentage of Type LL students of all 13 students (53.8%, 7 students) answered 'I have little knowledge of plants because I have little interest in them.' Fifth, the description about self-perception of scientific knowledge revealed that the highest percentage of Type HH students of all 15 students (40%, 6 students) answered 'I think my science creativity is high through my experience of scientific creativity. Sixth, the responses to the Questionnaire revealed that 'reading' was the most popular way to obtain scientific knowledge, with 27 out of total 33 students choosing it. In particular, all 18 students from Type HH (high scientific knowledge and high scientific creativity) and Type HL (high scientific knowledge and low scientific creativity) - those with high scientific knowledge - gave that response. On the basis of this research, we should explore practical teaching methods and environment for gifted students to improve their scientific creativity by revealing the nature of the factors that affect scientific creativity and analyzing relationship between knowledge and scientific creativity.

Purpose : To investigate the change of bone healing process after endodontic treatment of the tooth with an apical lesion by fractal analysis. Materials and Methods Radiographic images of 35 teeth from 33 patients taken on first diagnosis, 6 months, and 1 year after endodontic treatment were selected. Radiographic images were taken by JUPITER Computerized Dental X-ray $System^{(R)}$. Fractal dimensions were calculated three times at each area by Scion Image $PC^{(R)}$ program. Rectangular region of interest $(30\times30)$ were selected at apical lesion and normal apex of each image. Results : The fractal dimension at apical lesion of first diagnosis $(L_0)$ is $0.940{\pm}0.361$ and that of normal area $(N_0)$ is $1.186{\pm}0.727(p<0.05)$. Fractal dimension at apical lesion of 6 months after endodontic treatment $(L_1)$ is $1.076{\pm}0.069$ and that of normal area $ (N_1)$ is $1.192{\pm}0.055(p<0.05)$. Fractal dimension at apical lesion of 1 year after endodontic treatment $(L_2)$ is $1.163{\pm}0.074$ and that of normal area $(N_2)$ is $1.225{\pm}0.079(p<0.05)$. After endodontic treatment, the fractal dimensions at each apical lesions depending on time showed statistically significant difference. And there are statistically significant different between normal area and apical lesion on first diagnosis, 6 months after, 1 year after. But the differences were grow smaller as time flows. Conclusion : The evaluation of the prognosis after the endodontic treatment of the apical lesion was estimated by bone regeneration in apical region. Fractal analysis was attempted to overcome the limit of subjective reading, and as a result the change of the bone during the healing process was able to be detected objectively and quantitatively.
The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of experience docent programs provide to visitors in museums by means of Giorgi's phenomenological method. In-depth interview was conducted with 6 visitors who had experienced firsthand. As a result of the coding based upon Giorgi's method, it was divided into 6 categories and 21 subcategories, and the following results were obtained. First, the reason that the subjects of the study participated in the docent program was due to factors such as information, coincidence, induction of companions, and habits. Second, from participating in the docent guide, they felt that the docent led them to actively visit the exhibition, get the educational effect, and generate interest and curiosity. Third, looking at the reaction after participating in the docent guide, in addition to the positive influence, the docent's reading-like explanation and the problem of the microphone facility were negative experiences. Through this study, it was confirmed that there were many visitors who recognized that the docent guide was helpful in viewing the exhibition and experienced positive reactions. In addition, in the evaluation of the commentary of docent, there was a difference of views between art-related majors and non-majors. In addition, as a result of analyzing the participants' experiences according to Holt's frame of experiential consumption, it was found that the docent experience was a comprehensive consumption behavior appearing in all four fields.
