Controller Area Network (CAN) 통신과 임베디드 시스템을 이용한 자동차 감시 시스템 구현 (An Implementation of Monitoring System of Vehicle Using CAN Communication and Embedded System)

  • CAN communication can minimize the interfacing lines between equipments because it is composed of only the input and output lines, also is used for automatic system including vehicle, aircraft, railway vehicles and robot because the reliability of data is high by the capability of data-related error detect and correcting function. It can also improve the low-reliable and inefficient system which is composed of the existing Wiring Harness(W/H), so in case of vehicle, it is used in place of the present ECU as the new electro-control unit. In this paper, we constructed the electro-control unit of vehicle by using CAN communication and implemented system that could monitor the condition of vehicle through the web or mobile by connecting the electro-control unit to imbedded system. Such a system is expected to be helpful to the intelligent vehicle and the adoption of ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control).

  • The standardization of information communication is doing a Internal each other connection and each other characteristic stability operation security in objective. The facility which existing is been old or the enclosure communication equipments which are insufficient. it improves, establishment itexpands efficiently, like this facilities it is stabilized and it is economic and rationally use maintenance it manages with the plan for the inside and outside of the country information communication relation technical standard and engineering standard service feature improvement and future expandability and economical efficiency, the possibility of having a pliability in order to be, rational technical standard and standard it takes a triangular position, efficient characteristic security of information communication service there is a place objective which promises the rational development of course city railroad communication system with character. Function improvement of enclosure communication base equipment, against an improvement and standardization plan it described trom the prosecution which it sees.

  • Since the release of safety standard IEC 61508 which defines functional safety of electronic safety-related systems, SIL(Safety Integrity Level) certification for railway systems has gained lots of attention lately. In this paper, we propose a new design technique of the computer board for train control systems with high reliability and safety. The board is designed with TMR(Triple Modular Redundancy) using a certified SIL3 Texas Instrument(TI)'s TMS570 MCU(Micro-Controller Unit) to guarantee safety and reliability. TMR for the control device is implemented on FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) which integrates a comparator, a CAN(Controller Area Network) communication module, built-in self-error checking, error discriminant function to improve the reliability of the board. Even if a malfunction of a processing module occurs, the safety control function based on the proposed technique lets the system operate properly by detecting and masking the malfunction. An RTOS (Real Time Operation System) called FreeRTOS is ported on the board so that reliable and stable operation and convenient software development can be provided.

  • 최근, 이동 단말기의 확산과 통신 기술의 발달로 인하여 이동 객체들의 과거 궤적 데이터에서 이동 객체의 미동 패턴을 이용하는 응용 서비스의 활용이 점점 증대되고 있다. 특히, 대중교통의 노선 설계나 새로운 도시를 위한 도로 네트워크 설계에 활용하기 위하여, 도로나 철도와 같은 공간 네트워크 상에서 이동하는 이동 객체의 궤적들의 유사 패턴을 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 공간 네트워크에서 이동 객체 궤적을 위한 시공간 유사 궤적 검색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 도로 네트워크상에서 실제 도로 네트워크 거리에 기반한 시공간 유사도 측정방법을 정의하고, 효율적인 유사 궤적 검색을 위한 그리드 기반 색인 기법을 제안한다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서 제안하는 유사 궤적 검색 알고리즘의 효율성을 입증하기 위해 제안하는 알고리즘의 성능을 분석한다.

철도통합무선망(LTE-R) 환경에서의 eMBMS 구현방안 (Implementation plan of eMBMS in the case of LTE-R)

  • 2017년 12월 원주~강릉구간 고속철도 개통과 함께 250km/h급 철도통합무선망(LTE-R)이 세계 최초로 상용화되었다. LTE-R은 음성 및 영상 통화, 고속 데이터 전송, 커버리지 이중화 및 DU 이중화 등 많은 장점이 있으나 UL, DL 각 10MHz의 한정된 대역폭을 사용하므로 효율적인 무선자원 활용이 필요하다. 기존의 Unicast 방식은 주파수 효율이 제안적으로 사용자 수가 증가할 경우 망 부하로 인하여 서비스에 제한이 있으며 이는 안정성과 신뢰성을 보장해야 하는 LTE-R 특성 상 큰 문제로 이어질 수도 있다. 반면 eMBMS를 통한 Multicast 방식을 적용하면 영상데이터와 같은 대용량 데이터 전송수가 늘어도 안정적인 서비스 제공이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 이론전 계산값과 시험을 통해 LTE-R 망 부하를 고려한 Unicast 기반의 사용자 임계수를 도출하고 향후 LTE-R의 eMBMS 상용화 적용을 위한 고려사항을 제시하고자 한다.

철도차량용 임베디드 무선전송장치의 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on embedded & wireless fault code transmission device development for railroad vehicle)

  • An operating information and fault recode of train is very important information for safety driving and maintenance. And these information is increased and need high speed as the number of trains is increased. Wireless LAN or CDMA network is efficient to report more complicated and various information from vehicle to server in control center. Existing wireless transmission system has weakness due to transmission system is separated with TDCS and standalone. At first, standalone system needs space to be installed and cost is increased. And data transmission capacity and speed is limited by complicated structure that transmission system receive data thru serial communication like RS232 and then data transmission system send data to server in control center. This article is study to develop embedded & wireless fault code transmission device to be installed in TDCS to overcome weakness of space and to have more cost effective and simple structure. It is adapted 802.11b/g WiFi for wireless communication and OS is used embedded Linux that can easily implement wireless communication environment and ensure TCP/IP communication’s security. We also implement simple server to test wireless communication between embedded & wireless fault code transmission device and server in control center.

  • The Train Networks has a goal which requires the fast and correct data communication for distributable equipment systems. For this, in 1999, some train makers had established the standard TCN(IEC61375-1) for the inter-operating between equipment systems. Recently, TCN is being used in EU, China and the requirement to use it is growing up by many other countries more and more. The TCN was adopted at Korea High-speed Train with first in Korea, and Rotem Company finished the design of TCMS with TCN network for Istanbul EMU and KTX-2 Train and tests them. TCN(Train Communication Networks) defines the set of communication vehicle buses and train buses. The MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus) defines the data communication interface of equipment located in a vehicle and the WTB(Wire Train Bus) defines the data communication interface between vehicles. This paper examines whether the result of on-board test is satisfied with the IEC61375-1(International Electrotechnical Commission 61375-1) which is the international standard of TCN and introduce the results.

  • Recent social needs for promoting traffic safety increased and the demand social security in economic, increasing the demand for environmentally friendly rail transport. In particular, when train express such as to secure reliability KTX(Korea Train eXpress) from potential disaster(fire) in the train operation caused by the train express running has been very important. Railroad fire extinguishing system is operated to fire exploding before reaching the flashing point more important than early to quickly detect because of CAN(Controller Area Network) communication to fire suppression and fire receiver, interface, fire fighting equipment from HMI((Human Machine Interface) and fire high-performance to research and development for intelligent composite fire receiver is required.

  • Surge proof equipment is an installation to make surge flow on the ground promptly so as to reduce surge-related damage on infrastructure, not to prevent surge from falling down on infrastructure directly. Compared with classical line individual earth, High speed line common earth has higher surge characteristic and plays a significant role to prevent infrastructure damage and injuries from surge, or short circuit accident between 25kV catenary and rail. In this paper, we analyzed the case of accident that caused communication/signaling system impaired while a tractor crossing level crossing at Honam line; in addition, we examined the accident reduction measures to minimize injury and property damage from cutting accidents with respect to common earth network.

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 및 통신분야의 급속한 기술발전으로 마이크로세서의 성능향상과 제어용 LAN(Local Area Network)이 실용화됨으로 시스템 구축에 대한 유연성이 높아져 중앙처리장치(CPU)를 기능별로 분리하고 LAN 통신선로(Dataway)를 이용하여 프로세스의 제어기능은 분산시키고, 정보처리 및 감시와 운전조작기능은 집중화시켜 전체시스템을 구성하므로 신뢰성 향상을 도모하는 분산제어시스템의 개발배경과 적용과정 그리고 제철, 전력, 환경, 수 처리, 석유화학 등의 산업현장에서 다방면에 적용 및 응용되고 있는 분산제어시스템을 고찰하여 보고 향후 분산제어시스템의 발전방향까지 살펴보았다.
