고속열차용 Event Recorder 설계와 분석도구의 구현 (Implementation of Analysis Tool and Design of Event Recorder in Express Railway)

  • For safety railway vehicle movement, analysis and recoding of railway vehicle speed and driving information has written by law. nowadays, base in europe, these system is spread of various advanced country. In this paper, We implement an event recorder which record the driving and breaking information of running railway vehicle. For the event recorder, We designed the data structures with data analysis tools and a protocol between Event recorder and data analysis tool. The verification of Analysis tool was tested by to made data by Event Recorder's emulator and information of real railway driving recording.

  • Railway System has been developed by applying the advanced technology so that it reduces accident of hardware failure. But human error has been founded as important cause in railway accidents and safety. Medical condition is one of railway accident causes. Failure to recognize potentially incapacitating medical conditions can have serious safety consequences for railroad employees, the railroads and the public[1]. In order to find potential danger, we collect domestic/ foreign case for the medical examination and analyse characteristic/difference. The purpose of this study is to suggest information of employees' medical examination through comparing the current medical standard in railway industries.

  • 철도 제어 시스템은 대표적인 안전철수 시스템이다. 국제 규격의 컴퓨터 기반의 철도 제어 시스템을 개발하기 위해서 정형 기법을 이용한 요구사항 명세와 검증이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 정형 기법을 사용하여 요구사항 명세를 작성하는 지침서(guideline)을 개발하고, 컴퓨터 기반의 열차 제어 장치 시스템에 대한 실제 적용 사례를 제시한다. 정형 명세를 위해 상태차트(statechart)와 Z를 사용하고, 정형 명세의 일치성(consistency)과 완전성(completeness)을 검증한다.

  • Compared with other transport means, safety and timeliness are the merits of railways. Unexpectedly when accident happens, much time and human strength are required to cope with the accident. And for swift recovery, systematic rehabilitation is needed. Recently using MTS(Moving picture Transmission System), we can perform accident rehabilitation and recording work efficiently. MTS is the device that transmits continuous picture information from accident field to control center. We are developing the appropriate system to railway situation to make use of the existing information communication technology, processing technology of video-tex, super high speed transmission technology through fiber-optic, copper cable and network description of information Technology, etc. If these communication-based can technologies are applied to railway system, railway managers can control the accident by inspecting the picture of accident field and can contribute to the safe train operation and the improvement of railway management. In this paper, we investigate the connecting methods when optical fiber is used for moving picture data transmission of train accidents, and its problems. And, we validate MTS's performance through about 28km section of field test.

  • LTE-R 시스템은 All IP 기반의 서비스를 제공하는 Packet 망으로 구성되는 시스템으로, 승강장안전문과 관련된 지속적인 장애 발생과 이에 따른 승객 및 안전문작업자 관련 안전사고는 계속 발생하고 있으며, 이러한 승강장안전문의 장애 발생에 따른 2차 피해와 이와 관련된 인명피해는 사회적으로 큰 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 현재 운용 중이거나 설지 중인 LTE기반 철도 무선망인 LTE-R(Long Term Evoluton-Railway) 망에 비콘 시스템을 연동하여 정교하게 열차의 위치를 파악하고, 이를 통하여 표준화된 관련 장애 경보를 열차 승무원에게 제공함으로써 장애 발생 역사에 진입 시 열차의 감속 운행을 실시하고 궁극적으로 안전운행 확보를 통해 도시철도교통 사상사고 감소를 도모한다.

  • This paper is described the systematic activities of RCM to improve the availability for AREX railway system. The purpose of these activities are to maintain and enhance the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety, and to implement the effective maintenance for electrical and mechanical system including rolling stock, signalling, telecommunication, power supply, overhead catenary and platform screen door with impact to train operation.. The main activities consist of systematic failure and repair recording by integral information system, analysis and corresponding countermeasure. As applying these activities in opeartion and maintenance works, the availability of AREX railway system is going on improvement gradually, and maintenacne works are improved with these results.

도시철도 역사 내 안전 감시 시스템의 생태학적 인터페이스디자인(EID)을 위한 작업 영역 분석(WDA) 적용 (Applying Work Domain Analysis for Ecological Interface Design of Safety Monitoring System in the Urban Railway Station)

  • 본 연구에서는 역사 내 철도 안전 감시 시스템의 최적 디스플레이 설계를 위하여 생태학적 인터페이스 디자인(EID, Ecological Interface Design) 프레임웍을 적용하였다. 특히, EID 개발을 위한 가장 선행적 연구인 작업 영역 분석(WDA, Work Domain Analysis)을 실시하였다. 먼저 WDA를 위한 시스템 경계를 도시철도의 역사 내 안전 감시 시스템으로 설정하고, Abstraction Hierarchy (AH)를 이용하여 역무원의 작업 환경을 분석하였다. AH 결과 역무원이 작업 환경에서 얻게 되는 정보의 흐름을 다섯 단계의 수준(Functional Purpose, Values and Priority Measures, Purpose-related Functions, Object-related Process, Physical Object)으로 전개할 수 있었고, 각각의 수준의 정보로 이루어진 작업 영역 모델(WDM, Work Domain Model)을 얻었다. 이 WDM이 도시철도 안전 감시 시스템의 작업 환경을 얼마나 반영하는지 평가하기 위하여 10년 이상의 역무실 직무 경험이 있는 전문가를 대상으로 Scenario Mapping법을 실시하였다. 평가된 WDM을 바탕으로 현재 역사 내 안전 감시 시스템이 제공하고 있는 정보는 물론이고, 현재 안전 감시 시스템이 제공해주고 있지 못하는 13개의 요구 정보를 추가로 추출하였다. 이렇게 추출된 요구 정보는 도시철도 안전 감시 시스템의 EID에 반드시 반영되어야 할 필수적인 정보로 활용될 수 있다.

철도사고가 철도경영에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Accidents on Railroad Operations in Korea)

  • Korean railway has run about 110 years since 1989 and played a great role of industrialization in Korea. It is known that rail transport systems have many advantages of being more safe, energy-efficient, and environment-friendly, as compared to other transportation systems. However, railway incidents are often attributed to the failure of safety management and critical to the efficiency of railroad industry. This study reviewed economic, financial, and general statistical information on Korea Railroad. Based on the statistical data, the effect of accidents on railroad management was analyzed. Correlation analysis revealed that railway accident had a negative effect on the gross profit of Korea Railroad. In order to reduce potential risks and incident rate, some recommendations are proposed. Actual or potential applications of this research include safety guidelines for improving efficiency of railroad industry.

  • It is necessary to have a maintenance of track and its equipment for safety and s the railroad transportation. In the paper, we examine the safety problems, protecti and composition of protection system for safety within the track which RTRI develo system consists of a mobile business tool carried by each worker. a terminal of t platform temporarily installed in the maintenance car. a connector attached to signalling system and a central administrative device installed at the control cen used independently to detect positions of workers and maintenance cars. Each m correctly grasp the geometrical relations with other workers cars and other objects conditions based on the state information exchanged between the machines by the control protocol. the track occupancy monitor information broadcast by th administrative device and the line information. The protection system executes its f this basic structure.

  • We analyze the real-field operational results of the RIMS. Four aspects are considered; 1) economical, 2) managerial, 3) safety and reliability and 4) RIMS user evaluation. In economical aspect we investigate the fields where some economical gains are anticipated. In managerial aspect the efficiency and effectiveness of management through RIMS are investigated. The improvement of safety and reliability are qualitatively discussed. And RIMS user evaluation is performed through survey. We also suggest several conditions for the successful settlement of RIMS and future study area for RIMS to be more reliable and perfect.
