초고속 주행시 교량/토공 접속부 보강방안의 설계변수 분석 (Analysis of Design Parameters for Earthwork/Bridge Transition Structure for Ultra-High Speed Running)

  • 600km/h급 철도노반 개발은 초고속주행에 의한 동적상호작용의 예측이 어렵기 때문에 기술개발에 애로사항이 많다. 특히 교량/토공 접속부는 동적 상호작용을 포함하여 지지력, 압축, 침하, 배수, 유동 등의 영향 요소가 복합적으로 발생하는 구간으로서 접속부에서의 안정성이 확보된다면 초고속 열차용 토공노반의 안정성도 확보 가능할 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 초고속철도 접속구조개발의 기초 연구단계로서 국내 고속철도에서 적용하고 있는 접속부의 보강방안을 우선적으로 적용하여 초고속 주행시의 설계변수 영향을 해석적으로 검토하였다. 설계변수는 설계단계에서 검토 가능한 항목인 보강방안의 유무, 기하하적 형상, 재료의 강성 등이며, 분석내용은 초고속주행에 따른 궤도의 변형응답과 주행안정성을 검토하였다.

고속열차 산천 전장품 발열특성 측정 (Measurement of Thermal Characteristics of Electric Unit for Sancheon High-Speed Railcar)

  • 열차 운행에 따른 전장품들의 발열을 예측하기 위해 동력차 내 벽면온도 및 외부 유출 온도 및 풍속, 외부로부터 유입되는 유입 공기의 유입 온도 및 속도를 측정하였다. 이를 위하여 적외선카메라를 이용하여 고속열차 내부의 전장품 및 벽 표면의 온도를 측정하였다. 또한 전장품에서 발생하는 열은 고속열차 천장에 설치된 덕트를 통하여 외부로 배출된다. 배출되는 공기의 온도 및 속도를 측정하였고, 외부에서 동력차 내부로 들어오는 유입공기의 온도 및 속도도 측정하였다. 또한 부착형 온도센서를 이용하여 동력차 내부의 벽 및 전장품 표면에서의 온도를 측정하였다. 측정된 결과를 이용하여 열차 주행에 따른 전장품의 발열 특성을 분석하였다.

철도신호시스템 상호운용성 검증 방법 및 지원도구의 개발 (Interoperability Test and Testing Tool for Railway Signaling System)

  • 철도신호시스템은 열차의 운행을 책임지는 바이탈한 제어장치로서, 실제 사용 전에 충분한 시험을 통해 그 기능 안전성이 검증되어야 한다. 지금까지는 대부분 실험실에서 시뮬레이터에 의한 개발한 철도신호시스템의 검증을 수행 후 철도현장에 설치하여 다른 장치와 운용성 테스팅 단계를 거치게 된다. 이러한 접근방법은 일부 제한된 범위에서 상호운용성이 검증되고 있어, 보다 체계적인 상호 운용성 검증이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도신호시스템의 상호운용성 검증을 위한 단계를 3단계로 제시하고, 각 단계별 검증 방법을 설명한다. 또한 최종단계인 3단계에 적용을 위한 시험방법 및 테스팅 도구를 제안하였다.

  • 경전철은 중전철에 비하여 건설비가 50% 정도 소요되며 친환경적이어서 최근 국내의 많은 지자체에서 여러 가지 형식의 경전철을 계획하고 있으며 일부 건설이 진행중인 곳도 있다. "도시철도법제22조의 2(도시철도차량의안전기준)"에서는 "구조 및 장치가 안전운행에 필요한 기준(구조 및 장치)에 적합하지 아니하면 운행하지 못한다." 도시철도차량안전기준에관한규칙 제3조에는 도시철도의 건설자 또는 운영자가 안전기준에 맞게 차량을 발주하거나 운영하도록 되어있다. 도시철도차량안전기준에관한규칙은 2000년에 제정되어 대구지하철사고이후 화재안전기준등이 강화되어 2004년에 한번 개정이 되었다. 이는 전적으로 중 대형 전동차를 위주로 작성되었다. 완전무인운전을 기본으로 하여 신호장치 등에 대한 안전기준이 다르고 연절형 대차등을 적용 및 축중등에 대한 안전기준 내용등이 달라 국내 경전철과 관련된 많은 기관 등에서 전반적인 개정요구가 많은 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 국내 경전철 차량의 특징 및 개정의 필요성등을 다루어 향후 경전철 관련 안전기준의 개정 방향을 설정하는데 그 목적이 있다.

철도 화물취급역 입환생략모델(E&S) 도입 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective and Speedy container handing system(E&S) Effectiveness in railroad)

  • The railroad freight transport has great merits that can transport mass and specific items(dangerous goods), but it takes a long time because of low accessibility to the logistics facility and the complex process of loading freight in middle station. This paper analyzed volumes and characters of each railroad freight item, and was carried out the effect of applying E&S system to Gyeongbu line containers to find the method of reducing transport time and effective container transportation. As a result of Cost-Effectiveness analysis, the block train(B/T) is reducing transport time more about 1~2 hours. The road congestion cost is saving about 2.2 billion won. And due to skipping work of organizing train, personnel and equipment expenses savings expected about 9 billion won. It is expected that the E&S system enhances the container transport service and has an effect positive influence on making a efficient method of transport. But It is necessary to estimate pre-feasibility of applying E&S system that the standard of estimating cost and benefit is required further examination.

  • Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs of Korea has started a research project on verification process and safety assessment of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system for metropolitan railroad control as a 3-year project starting from 2010. As a number of companies has made efforts in securing the technologies for domestic production of CBTC systems, the purpose of the project is to develop the specification for interoperability with the considerations for local environments including metropolitan train operations and wireless communications. And the developed systems and the RAMS related outcomes from the participating companies are subject to Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) performed by a foreign specialized agency and the corresponding certificates are to be issued as a part of the project. In this paper, the RAMS management for verification and commercialization of metropolitan railroad CBTC systems has been studied. The study includes response strategy for the requirements of international standards, responsibility and authority of the related institute and the companies, quantitative RAMS objectives, and risk management strategies in project fulfillment.

  • As government's policy is enacted to reduce greenhouse gas emission in transportation sector, railroad sector has to estimate amount of emission and propose feasible methods to reduce emission. To calculate accurate emission of railroad sector, we performed a study on the calculation model development for Tier 3 GHG emission factors. According to IPCC guide line, Tier 3 emission factor reflects individual characteristic of diesel locomotive. For this reason, we estimated GHG emission factor by stratified diesel locomotive and the result show difference of emission factor by notch changing. Therefore, the analysis of notch frequency during operation is required to develop Tier 3 emission factor, and we analysed a running pattern of diesel locomotive. As a result, idle and 8 notch consist about 70% of total running distance. In conclusion, the calculation model suppose that Tier 3 GHG emission factor is the sum of multiplied emission factor by weights in each notch. This result can contribute to Tier 3 emission factor calculation and reduction method development of emission in railroad sector by managing driving efficiency and technology development.

내마모성이 우수한 절연구분장치 국산화 개발 (Development of Section Insulator with Improved Wear Characteristics)

  • In a section of AC electric railway, a phase between the sections is different although voltage levels supplied from substations are the same. Therefore, section insulators have been installed to electrically divide between the sections. Two differenet types of section insulator, namely an overlap type and insulator type, are used. In Korean high-speed lines, overlap type section insulator has been adopted. And, insulator type is used in conventional line. The overlap type has the advantage of having no speed limit, but has the disadvantage of requiring long section length. However, the insulator type has the advantage of section length, but also has the disadvantage of having speed limit. In Korean conventional line, an insulator type one relies on the import and there is some problem with wear. In this study, we developed the insulator type section insulator which adopts Teflon tube insulation material. The Teflon material has advantage of the excellent electrical characteristics and wear-resistance characteristics for a longer expected life than that made of existing FRP. In order to compare wear characteristics between the materials, wear tests with reciprocal wear tester are performed. And dynamic behavior tests between the insulators and pantograph are also performed for showing its better dynamic characteristics.

혼합필터와 주파수분석기법을 이용한 교류 아크 검출 기법 (AC Arc Detection Method using Mixed Filter and Frequency Analysis)

  • In this paper, we propose a technique to determine the normal and arc of an alternating current using a mixed filter composed of an average filter and a band-pass filter and a frequency analysis. The proposed method uses the moving average filter of the FIR filter structure for noise removal and the band-pass filter of the IIR filter structure for detecting only specific frequency components after normalizing the measured current signal based on the maximum value. After performing Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) using the band-pass filtered signal, the total energy is calculated using the magnitude component of the frequency, and the arc is detected using the magnitude of the calculated energy. In order to show the validity of the proposed method, we experimented with various data and found that arc and steady state can be easily discriminated by calculating spectral energy. Therefore, it is considered that the proposed method can be applied to arc diagnosis of low voltage electric wire.

철도신호 소프트웨어 테스팅을 위한 MSC 기반 테스트케이스 생성 모듈 (MSC-based Test-case Generation Module for Railway Signaling Software Testing)

  • Most of the existing studies on functional safety testing for the railway signaling system software have focused on verifying the functional safety through the monitoring of internal memory embedded railway signaling system. However, the railway signaling system is one of the typical embedded control system in the railway sector, and the embedded software has a characteristic of generating an appropriate outputs through the combination of internal processing in consideration of the current internal status and external input. Therefore, the test approach of using the interface communication channel can be effective way for the functional testing for railway signaling system software in consideration of these characteristic. Since a communication interface specification of the railway signal system has a the properties of the sequence input and output signals, test-case for software testing is the most effective methodology by MSC (Message Sequence Chart) language, one of the graphic language. The MSC-based test-case generating methodology for signaling system software was proposed in this paper.
