철도의 서비스 변동이 철도내 분담률에 미치는 영향 (Market Share Analysis by Railroad Service Change)

  • This study explored the ridership pattern between Seoul and Busan after the introduction of KTX in 2004. Since the KTX opening, average daily passengers on the Kyungbu lines have increased. These figures clearly indicate that the transportation network is becoming railroad-centric. However, the operation. of the KTX will leave many existing Saemaul and Mugunghwa train sets idle, which will be put into operation for areas, not covered by the KTX. Statistics show that the railroad ridership is clarified the distinction between train service levels. So, our paper studied the change of market share by service levels between Seoul-Busan line which is a long distance route.

  • To study the feasibility of applying wireless communication technology to the control of train for the effective control of train and for the reduction of cost and time to construct the necessary infra structure, we investigate into the application of the existing commercial WCDMA network to CBTC (communication-based train control) to grasp the obstacles and propose the solutions to circumvent them. The obstacles can be categorized into the hand-off problem, the interference problem near the stations, and the problem of radio shadow areas. We propose, as solutions, the cell overlap method and multi-terminal approach for the hand-off problem, the cell sectoring method for the interference problem, and establishment of new base stations along the railroad both to provide the wireless train control and communication service to the customers on the train which was otherwise impossible because of the shadowing effect.

  • The study for ubiquitous computing infra is proceeding actively, it make possible to use service and access network anywhere, anytime because of wire/wireless communication technology and progress of hardware. Domestically, study for the network mobility support technology which is the key technology for future ubiquitous computing realization have progressed, but that is Insufficient. Especially, there is no study for independent mobility support study about railway wireless network. So, this study propose network mobility management technology for mobile network infra in railway and proper network model in train.

  • 복수의 철도운영자가 철도네트워크를 공동으로 사용하는 경우, 철도운영자별로 열차운행비율, 우선순위 및 착발시각 등에 다툼이 발생하고, 이용수요가 많은 시간대에는 집중적으로 열차운행을 신청하여 열차 경합이 증대되는 현상이 점점 커질 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구는 열차출발시각을 결정변수로 하여 다양하게 주어진 열차시각표에서 열차운행순서, 최소운전시격, 착발시각, 열차우선순위 등을 해석하였으며, 각종 제약조건을 만족하도록 철도운영자들이 신청한 열차시각을 조정하고, 경합 해소가 불가능한 열차는 최종적으로 제거하는 방법을 통하여 목적함수인 철도운영에 현실적으로 적용 가능한 최대 수의 열차슬롯을 찾는 열차슬롯배분 모형을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient Care of Address (CoA) configuration scheme for network mobility support in the railroad environment. Mobile routers in a train visit each access router in the fixed order. Such regular movement characteristic of a train enables a current subnet access router to inform the next subnet access router of the mobile routers' interface identifiers before the mobile routers move to the next subnet access router. So, the next subnet access router can make care of addresses for the mobile routers in advance. The numerical results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the stateless scheme with respect to CoA configuration time.

  • Recent social needs for promoting traffic safety increased and the demand social security in economic, increasing the demand for environmentally friendly rail transport. In particular, when train express such as to secure reliability KTX(Korea Train eXpress) from potential disaster(fire) in the train operation caused by the train express running has been very important. Railroad fire extinguishing system is operated to fire exploding before reaching the flashing point more important than early to quickly detect because of CAN(Controller Area Network) communication to fire suppression and fire receiver, interface, fire fighting equipment from HMI((Human Machine Interface) and fire high-performance to research and development for intelligent composite fire receiver is required.

철도전용 통합무선망 개발 (Development of Integrated Wireless Network for Railway)

  • 본 연구는 철도전용 통합무선망 개발을 위한 LTE 통신 방식의 적용타당성 연구를 목적으로 하며, 호남선 일로역에서 대불역 사이 약 12km 구간에 걸쳐 철도전용 통합무선망을 구축하여 실증 분석하였다. 한국의 철도 안전 무선통신은 노선 별로 방식이 상이하여 각 철도 종사자간 협업이 어려워 다양한 문제점이 발생하고 있으며 무선통신 시스템간 통화 단절 및 상용 무선망과의 주파수 간섭 및 혼신에 따른 사고 발생 위험이 상존하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 대두되고 있는 철도전용 통합무선망에 4세대 통신방식인 LTE를 적용하는 것이 타당한지를 살펴보았다. 열차 선로라는 기지국 설치 위치의 제약이 있었음에도 모든 시험 항목에서 기존 유럽의 GSM-R의 성능 기준을 상회하는 결과를 보였다.

능동형 전압제어를 통한 교류 전기철도 급전망에 대한 전력손실 분석 (A Power Losses Analysis of AC Railway Power Feeding Network using Adaptive Voltage Control)

  • This paper compares power losses between voltage controlled before and after using power conversion device in AC feeding system. For this purpose we present voltage control procedures and criteria and model high speed line and train using PSCAD/EMTDC to compare power losses in various feeding condition. Power losses of the simulation result in power control before and after in single point feeding system was reduced maximum 0.37 MW(23.8 %) and average 0.23 MW(20.5 %) when one vehicle load operates maximum load condition. When three vehicles operate maximum load condition in one feeder section, power losses after voltage control was reduced 1.03 MW(49.5%) compared to before voltage control. And, power loss of parallel feeding system is reduced the average 0.08 MW(7.2 %) compared to the single feeding system. In conclusion, adaptive voltage control method using power conversion device can reduce power losses compared with existing method.

부본선 및 정차패턴을 고려한 고속철도 정거장 용량산정 (Station Capacity Calculation on High-Speed Railway Considering the number of Sidings and Train Halting Patterns)

  • 본 연구에서는 산식에 기반 한 고속철도 정거장 선로용량 계산 방법론을 제시하였다. 제시한 방법론은 기존 방법론에서 명시적으로 다루지 못하였던 정거장별 부본선(정차본선) 설치 수와 정차패턴(정차-정차, 통과-정차, 정차-통과, 통과-통과)의 혼합이 선로용량에 미치는 영향을 반영한다. 제시한 선로용량 계산 결과의 일관성을 검증하기 위해 전문 시뮬레이터(Railsys)를 활용하여 비교한 결과 정차패턴별 시격의 차이는 10% 미만으로 분석되었다. 정차패턴이 조합되었을 때의 효과를 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션 한 결과 역시 계산된 선로용량은 현실성이 높은 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 한국철도시설공단 선로배분프로그램의 용량산정 결과와도 통계적으로 유사하였다.
