An analytical solution to the mapping relationship between bridge structures vertical deformation and rail deformation of high-speed railway

  • This paper describes a study of the mapping relationship between the vertical deformation of bridge structures and rail deformation of high-speed railway, taking the interlayer interactions of the bridge subgrade CRTS II ballastless slab track system (HSRBST) into account. The differential equations and natural boundary conditions of the mapping relationship between the vertical deformation of bridge structures and rail deformation were deduced according to the principle of stationary potential energy. Then an analytical model for such relationship was proposed. Both the analytical method proposed in this paper and the finite element numerical method were used to calculate the rail deformations under three typical deformations of bridge structures and the evolution of rail geometry under these circumstances was analyzed. It was shown that numerical and analytical calculation results are well agreed with each other, demonstrating the effectiveness of the analytical model proposed in this paper. The mapping coefficient between bridge structure deformation and rail deformation showed a nonlinear increase with increasing amplitude of the bridge structure deformation. The rail deformation showed an obvious "following feature"; with the increase of bridge span and fastener stiffness, the curve of rail deformation became gentler, the track irregularity wavelength became longer, and the performance of the rail at following the bridge structure deformation was stronger.

준지도 학습과 전이 학습을 이용한 선로 체결 장치 결함 검출 (Detection Fastener Defect using Semi Supervised Learning and Transfer Learning)

  • 오늘날 인공지능 산업이 발전함에 따라 여러 분야에 걸쳐 인공지능을 통한 자동화 및 최적화가 이루어지고 있다. 국내의 철도 분야 또한 지도 학습을 이용한 레일의 결함을 검출하는 연구들을 확인할 수 있다. 그러나 철도에는 레일만이 아닌 다른 구조물들이 존재하며 그중 선로 체결 장치는 레일을 다른 구조물에 결합시켜주는 역할을 하는 장치로 안전사고의 예방을 위해서 주기적인 점검이 필요하다. 본 논문에는 선로 체결 장치의 데이터를 이용하여 준지도 학습(semi-supervised learning)과 전이 학습(transfer learning)을 이용한 분류기를 학습시켜 선로 안전 점검에 사용되는 비용을 줄이는 방안을 제안한다. 사용된 네트워크는 Resnet50이며 imagenet으로 선행 학습된 모델이다. 레이블이 없는 데이터에서 무작위로 데이터를 선정 후 레이블을 부여한 뒤 이를 통해 모델을 학습한다. 학습된 모델의 이용하여 남은 데이터를 예측 후 예측한 데이터 중 클래스 별 확률이 가장 높은 데이터를 정해진 크기만큼 훈련용 데이터에 추가하는 방식을 채택하였다. 추가적으로 초기의 레이블된 데이터의 크기가 끼치는 영향력을 확인해보기 위한 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 최대 92%의 정확도를 얻을 수 있었으며 이는 지도 학습 대비 5% 내외의 성능 차이를 가진다. 이는 제안한 방안을 통해 추가적인 레이블링 과정 없이 비교적 적은 레이블을 이용하여 분류기의 성능을 기존보다 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • This paper presents an analytical model to analyze the mapping relationship between bridge lateral deformation and track geometry of high-speed railway. Based on the rail deformation mechanisms, the deformation of track slab and rail at the locations of fasteners are analyzed. Formulae of rail lateral deformation are derived and validated against a finite element model. Based on the analytical model, a rail deformation extension coefficient is presented, and effects of different lateral deformations on track geometry are evaluated. Parametric studies are conducted to evaluate the effects of the deformation amplitude, fastener stiffness and mortar layer stiffness on the rail deformation. The rail deformation increases with the deformation of the girder, and is dependent on the spacing of the fasteners, the elastic modulus of the rail's material, and the moment of inertia of the rail's section.

기존 무도상 판형교 궤도의 종저항거동에 대한 실험 (An Experimental Study on the Longitudinal Resistance Behavior of an Existing Ballastless Steel Plate Girder Bridge)

  • 무도상 판형교는 교량 바닥판과 도상 없이 주거더에 궤도가 직접 연결되어 있는 구조로 열차 통과로 인하여 발생한 충격이 교량 주부재에 직접 전달되어 높은 수준의 소음 진동 뿐 아니라 교량의 잦은 손상을 유발하는 특성이 있다. 레일 장대화는 무도상 판형교의 이러한 구조적인 문제를 경감할 수 있으며, 이를 위해서는 차량-궤도 또는 궤도-교량 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 인자의 특성에 대한 명확한 이해가 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 레일체결장치, 침목고정장치 및 궤광을 포함한 실제 무도상 판형교에 설치되어 있는 궤도의 종방향 저항력 특성을 실험을 통하여 검토하였다. 실험은 유도상화 시공을 위하여 철거된 실제 교량을 실험실로 이송하여 수행하였다. 실험 결과 목침목용 레일체결장치의 종방향저항력은 KRS TR 0014-15의 성능합격기준을 만족하며, 교량침목고정장치의 종방향 저항력은 구형과 신형 모두 기존 연구보다 높은 값으로 나타났다. 또한 하중 비재하 시 무도상 궤도의 종방향 저항력은 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도 사이의 값으로 나타났다.

콘크리트 슬래브 궤도 교량의 사용성 검토를 위한 레일 지지점에서의 작용력 해석 (Analysis of the Internal Forces of the Rail Supports for the Serviceability of Concrete Slab Track Bridge)

  • 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 슬래브 궤도를 가지는 교량의 사용성 검토에 있어 단위 축하중, 단위 수직 단차, 단위 회전에 의해 발생되는 레일 지지점의 작용력에 대한 기준 값을 구하였다. 해석방법에 있어서는 레일이 탄성 스프링에 의해 연속적으로 지지되는 모델과 이산적으로 지지되는 모델이 이용되었다. 해석결과 얻어진 레일 지지점에서의 작용력은 콘크리트 궤도의 사용성 검토에서 참조되고 있는 DS 804 기준에 제시된 값과 비교되였으며, 그 결과는 잘 일치하였다. 또한, 레일 지지점의 간격과 체결장치의 강성이 레일 지지점에서의 작용력에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

Experimental and numerical investigation of track-bridge interaction for a long-span bridge

  • Track-bridge interaction (TBI) problem often arises from the adoption of modern continuously welded rails. Rail expansion devices (REDs) are generally required to release the intensive interaction between long-span bridges and tracks. In their necessity evaluations, the key techniques are the numerical models and methods for obtaining TBI responses. This paper thus aims to propose a preferable model and the associated procedure for TBI analysis to facilitate the designs of long-span bridges as well as the track structures. A novel friction-spring model was first developed to represent the longitudinal resistance features of fasteners with or without vertical wheel loadings, based on resistance experiments for three types of rail fasteners. This model was then utilized in the loading-history-based TBI analysis for an urban rail transit dwarf tower cable-stayed bridge installed with a RED at the middle. The finite element model of the long-span bridge for TBI analysis was established and updated by the bridge's measured natural frequencies. The additional rail stresses calculated from the TBI model under train loadings were compared with the measured ones. Overall agreements were observed between the measured and the computed results, showing that the proposed TBI model and analysis procedure can be used in further study.

  • CWR(Continuous Welded Rail) has many advantage over the conventional jointed rail track. The use of CWR track not only reduces the track maintenance cost, but increase the life cycle of track components. As the use of CWR increases in track structures, derailing disasters associating with track buckling also increase in great numbers due to high compressive thermal stress. Despite the importance, the number of studies relevant to the instability is quite limited. In this paper, It considers the contribution of rail-pad-fastener resistance, uplift of tie and nonlinear analysis. Influence of various track components on CWR track temperature and mode shape were characterized.

고속철도 궤도구성품의 손상유형 표준화 (The Standardization of Damage Types of Track Components on High Speed Railway)

  • It is estimated that the running of locally-developed next generation High Speed Trains with maximum speed of 400km/h will help to deteriorate track components. It was presented rail defect coding system in UIC 712R includes the definitions of damage types of rail, maintenance procedures, and etc to detect and maintain. It is necessary to make a track maintenance manual determining track maintenance periods using the standardization of damage types of track components such as: sleeper, fastener, elastic pad. In this paper, the damage types of high speed track components are investigated by referring domestic and foreign literatures. And then the damage types of rail given in UIC 712R is reclassified more particularly and classified damage types of track components using internal high speed railway. In conclusion, this paper suggests standardization for damage types of track components on internal high speed railway.

콘크리트슬래브궤도 체결장치의 패드강성에 따른 궤도/교량의 거동 분석 (The Behaviour of Track/Railway Bridge according to Pad Stiffness of Fastener System on Concrete Slab Track)

  • Construction of concrete slab track is trending to increase gradually in national and international for reduction in track maintenance cost and secure of ride comfort. But elastic pad becomes superannuated due to repeated train operation. After all, it brings change of pad stiffness and it could directly act on track and bridge as load transmission and impact force. In this study, we carried out laboratory test changing pad stiffness after making a model of 15m bridge and laying concrete slab track. Also, we carried out static and dynamic behaviors test(stress, natural frequency, damping ratio, vibrational acceleration, deflection) of bridge and track and experimentally analyzed them by change of elastic pad stiffness on rail fastener.

콘크리트궤도에 고속분기기 설치를 고려한 교량설계 및 시공기법 (Design and Construction Method Considering Turnout for High-speed on The Bridge with Concrete Track)

  • The concrete track is being used at the Phase II of the Kyeongbu High Speed Railway and New Constructed Honam High Speed Railway. When it makes a decision of bridge type, It has to consider about longitudinal forces of Continuous Welded Rail, Displacement at the end of bridges, Up-lift forces for fastener on the track. If it is installed turnout on the bridge, There is likelihood of the deck twist by applying the each difference longitudinal forces at the 4 each rails and the buckling by concentration of rail stress at the turnout. Moreover, If it is installed turnout on the continuous bridge and REJ(Rail Expansion Joint) on the main track or turnout track. It is hard to keep a safety for rail because of coming to twist or folding at the expansion of deck on the turnout track. Therefore when it is a design of bridge with turnout. It need to take bridge type to minimize an additional axial force and a displacement at the turnout. This paper makes a study of the composite steel arch bridge that is able to resolve criteria requirements of safety for track with turnout and suggest a helpful design method for bridge considering track with turnout by being based on design and construction method of Eonyang Bridge at the north part of Ulsan Station in Phase II of the Kyeongbu High Speed Railway.
