대목 종류에 따른 저온기 토경재배에서의 토마토 생육 특성 분석 (Growth Characteristics of Tomatoes Grafted with Different Rootstocks Grown in Soil during Winter Season)

  • 국내 토마토 토경재배 면적은 전체 재배면적의 89%로 높은 비율을 차지하고 있다. 토경재배 토마토는 염류장해와 토양전염성 병원균 피해에 취약할 뿐만 아니라 겨울철 저온 피해를 입기 쉽기 때문에 토마토 접목묘를 사용하는 것이 좋다. 본 연구는 저온기 토경재배에서의 토마토 대목의 종류에 따라 나타나는 생육, 수량 및 광합성 효율의 차이를 비교 분석하고자 수행하였다. 대목의 종류는 4가지로 국내 개발 계통 및 품종 'Powergaurd', 'IT173773', '20LM'과 대조 품종 'B-blocking'을 사용하였다. 접수와 비접목 처리구로 완숙토마토 품종 'Red250'을 사용하였다. 작물이 14일간 9-14℃의 저온에 노출된 시기인 정식 후 80일에 비접목 처리구의 경경은 10.1mm로 접목 처리구에 비해 15% 낮았고 엽장과 엽폭은 42.4cm와 41.8cm로 감소하였다. 주당 총 수량은 'Powerguard'가 1,615g으로 높았고 비접목 처리구가 1,299g으로 낮았다. 엽록소형광 지수 중 작물의 전반적인 활력도를 나타내는 PIABS와 광합성에 사용되지 못한 빛에너지가 열로 소실됨을 뜻하는 지수인 DI0/RC를 측정한 결과, 정식 후 80일에 접목 처리구 'Powerguard'의 PIABS는 3.73으로 높았고 DI0/RC는 0.34로 낮은 반면, 비접목 처리구의 PIABS는 2.62로 낮았고 DI0/RC는 0.41로 높았다. 경경은 PIABS와 정의 상관관계를 나타낸 반면, DI0/RC와는 부의 상관관계를 나타내어 다양한 엽록소형광 지수를 통해 저온기 대목 종류에 따른 접수의 생육차이를 분석할 수 있는 것으로 판단된다.

수박에 과실썩음병을 유발하는 Acidovorax citrulli의 생물학적 방제를 위한 길항 미생물 선발과 특성 검정 (Selection and Characterization of Antagonistic Microorganisms for Biological Control of Acidovorax citrulli Causing Fruit Rot in Watermelon)

  • 본 연구에서는 수박에서 과실썩음병을 유발하는 Acidovorax citrulli를 억제하는 세균을 선발하고, 선발한 세균이 성장촉진 및 길항 효소를 생성하는지 확인하였다. 전국 26개 지역의 94곳의 수박재배지와 25곳의 대형 원예 육묘장에서 수박 식물체(잎, 꽃, 뿌리) 및 토양을 수집하였다. 수집한 sample에서 tryptic soy agar와 yeast extract peptone dextrose 배지에서 각각 1,953종과 841종 총 2,794종의 미생물을 분리하였으며, 2,794종의 미생물 중 2종의 A. citrulli를 선발하였다. 선발한 A. citrulli에 대한 기내 길항성 검정 결과 3-3B에서 24종, 9-4B에서 14종 총 28종의 길항 세균을 선발하였다. 선발한 길항 세균 중 BNPL-6-3B, HYGPL-1-3B, TIPL-6-1B, YGMP-2-7Y는 2종의 bacterial fruit blotch균 모두에서 강한 길항성을 보였다. 선발한 28종의 길항 세균을 대상으로 총 6가지의 생화학적 검증을 진행하였으며, 선발한 길항 세균 중 CB20R-2-5B, TIPL-4-2B, TIPL-6-1B, TIPL-7-4B 4가지 균주가 5가지의 생화학적 검증에서 성장촉진 및 길항 효소를 분비하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, BNPL-3-3B와 BNPL-6-3B 두 균주는 성장촉진 효소 분비를 확인하는 4가지의 생화학적 검증(ammonia production, phosphate solubilization, starch hydrolysis, siderophore production)에서 모두에서 효소를 분비하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서 선발한 28종의 길항 세균은 배지에서 A. citrulli를 효과적으로 억제하였으며, 사이안화 수소와 단백질분해효소 생산 능력 검정을 통해 길항 활성을 확인하였다. 또한, 선발한 길항 세균의 암모니아 생산 및 불용성 인산 가용화 능력을 확인하여 식물 성장촉진 활성을 가지는 것으로 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 연구결과는 향후 수박 과실썩음병 방제제 및 성장촉진제 등의 친환경 농자재 개발에 유용한 기초 자료가 될 것으로 판단된다.

유산 및 글루코노락톤 혼합물을 함유하는 수중유형 나노에멀젼의 피부장벽개선 효과 (Effect of Oil in Water Nanoemulsion Containing a Mixture of Lactic Acid and Gluconolactone for Skin Barrier Improvement)

  • 본 연구에서는 lactic acid (LA) 및 gluconolactone (GL)의 피부 장벽 개선 효능을 평가하기 위하여 피부세포에서 필라그린, 로리크린, hyaluronic acid (HA), hyaluronan synthase-2 (HAS2), aquaporine-3 (AQP3)의 발현량 및 임상시험을 통한 수분 함유량과 경표피수분손실량(transepidermal water loss, TEWL)을 평가하였다. 장벽 기능(필라그린, 로리크린)과 보습 기능(HA, HAS2, AQP3)에 관련된 인자들의 발현량을 qRT-PCR과 Western blot으로 측정한 결과, H2O2 처리에 의해 감소된 인자들의 발현량이 LA, GL 및 혼합물 처리로 mRNA전사량과 단백질 발현량을 유의적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). LA와 GL 혼합물을 함유하는 나노에멀젼을 에멀젼 반전법으로 제조한 결과 평균 입자 크기는 299.9±0.287 nm로 확인되었다. 나노에멀젼의 TEWL을 Vapometer로 측정한 결과, 제품 사용 2주 후 및 제품 사용 4주 후에 제품 사용 전에 비하여 각각 15.53%, 26.73% 정도 TEWL이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 나노에멀젼의 피부 수분함유량을 Corneometer로 측정한 결과, 제품 사용 2주 후 및 제품 사용 4주 후에 제품 사용 전에 비하여 각각 15.40%, 26.59% 정도 수분 함유량이 유의적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 따라서 LA 및 GL의 피부 장벽 기능 및 보습 효과는 피부 보습 관련 단백질인 HA, HAS2 및 AQP3 발현 증가와 피부 장벽 기능의 주요인자인 필라그린과 로리크린의 발현 증가를 통한 수분 함유량 증가 및 TEWL 감소에 의해 나타나는 것으로 기능성 화장품 소재로서의 개발 가능성을 제시한다.

쌍별귀뚜라미(Gryllus bimaculatus)의 GbTmem258 cDNA 클로닝과 발현분석 (Characterization of a cDNA Encoding Transmembrane Protein 258 from a Two-spotted Cricket Gryllus bimaculatus)

  • 쌍별귀뚜라미(Gryllus bimaculatus)에서 분리한 막전단백질 258(transmembrane protein 258, Tmem258)을 코딩하는 cDNA를 GbTmem258로 이름 붙였다. 이 단백질은 80개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있으며, N-glycosylation site가 없고, 각각 2개의 serine과 threonine, 1개의 tyrosine 잔기로 구성된 5개의 잠재적 인산화 부위를 가지고있다. GbTmem258 단백질은 분자량은 9.06 kDa이며 이론적 등전점은 5.5으로 계산되었으며, alpha-helix (52.5%), random coils (22.5%), extended strands (16.25%), beta turns (8.75%)의 2차 구조 정보를 기반으로 GbTmem258의 3차 구조가 작성되었다. 그리고, GbTmem258은 다른 종의 Tmem258와 아미노산 수준에서 높은 상동성을 보였다. 이 연구에서는 기아와 먹이 공급에 의해 GbTmem258 발현 조절이 어떻게 영향을 받는지 조사하였다. 기아가 지속되는 동안 hindgut에서 GbTmem258 발현이 점진적으로 증가하여 기아 6일 후 대조군보다 1.5배 높은 수준이 되었다. 그러나 6일간의 기아상태가 끝난 후 하루 또는 이틀 동안 다시 먹이를 주면 GbTmem258 발현이 대조군 수준으로 회복되었다. 지방에서는 기아 동안 대조군에 비해서 GbTmem258 발현이 최대 3배까지 증가했지만, 6일 기아 후 하루 또는 이틀 동안 다시 먹인 후에는 발현이 약 2.5배 증가로 감소되었다. 굶기고 다시 먹이는 실험 내내 각각의 조직에서 주목할만한 GbTmem258 발현은 관찰되지 않았다.

Myelin Content in Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Patients with Post-Concussion Syndrome: Quantitative Assessment with a Multidynamic Multiecho Sequence

  • Objective: This study aimed to explore the myelin volume change in patients with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) with post-concussion syndrome (PCS) using a multidynamic multiecho (MDME) sequence and automatic whole-brain segmentation. Materials and Methods: Forty-one consecutive mTBI patients with PCS and 29 controls, who had undergone MRI including the MDME sequence between October 2016 and April 2018, were included. Myelin volume fraction (MVF) maps were derived from the MDME sequence. After three dimensional T1-based brain segmentation, the average MVF was analyzed at the bilateral cerebral white matter (WM), bilateral cerebral gray matter (GM), corpus callosum, and brainstem. The Mann-Whitney U-test was performed to compare MVF and myelin volume between patients with mTBI and controls. Myelin volume was correlated with neuropsychological test scores using the Spearman rank correlation test. Results: The average MVF at the bilateral cerebral WM was lower in mTBI patients with PCS (median [interquartile range], 25.2% [22.6%-26.4%]) than that in controls (26.8% [25.6%-27.8%]) (p = 0.004). The region-of-interest myelin volume was lower in mTBI patients with PCS than that in controls at the corpus callosum (1.87 cm3 [1.70-2.05 cm3] vs. 2.21 cm3 [1.86-3.46 cm3]; p = 0.003) and brainstem (9.98 cm3 [9.45-11.00 cm3] vs. 11.05 cm3 [10.10-11.53 cm3]; p = 0.015). The total myelin volume was lower in mTBI patients with PCS than that in controls at the corpus callosum (0.45 cm3 [0.39-0.48 cm3] vs. 0.48 cm3 [0.45-0.54 cm3]; p = 0.004) and brainstem (1.45 cm3 [1.28-1.59 cm3] vs. 1.54 cm3 [1.42-1.67 cm3]; p = 0.042). No significant correlation was observed between myelin volume parameters and neuropsychological test scores, except for the total myelin volume at the bilateral cerebral WM and verbal learning test (delayed recall) (r = 0.425; p = 0.048). Conclusion: MVF quantified from the MDME sequence was decreased at the bilateral cerebral WM in mTBI patients with PCS. The total myelin volumes at the corpus callosum and brainstem were decreased in mTBI patients with PCS due to atrophic changes.

병원 간호사의 선호근무시간대에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hoslital Nurses' Preferred Duty Shift and Duty Hours)

  • The duty shifts of hospital nurses not only affect nurses' physical and mental health but also present various personnel management problems which often result in high turnover rates. In this context a study was carried out from October to November 1995 for a period of two months to find out the status of hospital nurses' duty shift patterns, and preferred duty hours and fixed duty shifts. The study population was 867 RNs working in five general hospitals located in Seoul and its vicinity. The questionnaire developed by the writer was used for data collection. The response rate was 85.9 percent or 745 returns. The SAS program was used for data analysis with the computation of frequencies, percentages and Chi square test. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. General characteristics of the study population: 56 percent of respondents was (25 years group and 76.5 percent were "single": the predominant proportion of respondents was junior nursing college graduates(92.2%) and have less than 5 years nursing experience in hospitals(65.5%). For their future working plan in nursing profession, nearly 50% responded as uncertain The reasons given for their career plan was predominantly 'personal growth and development' rather than financial reasons. 2. The interval for rotations of duty stations was found to be mostly irregular(56.4%) while others reported as weekly(16.1%), monthly(12.9%), and fixed terms(4.6%). 3. The main problems related to duty shifts particularly the evening and night duty nurses reported were "not enough time for the family, " "afraid of security problems after the work when returning home late at night." and "lack of leisure time". "problems in physical and physiological adjustment." "problems in family life." "lack of time for interactions with fellow nurses" etc. 4. The forty percent of respondents reported to have '1-2 times' of duty shift rotations while all others reported that '0 time'. '2-3 times'. 'more than 3 times' etc. which suggest the irregularity in duty shift rotations. 5. The majority(62.8%) of study population found to favor the rotating system of duty stations. The reasons for favoring the rotation system were: the opportunity for "learning new things and personal development." "better human relations are possible. "better understanding in various duty stations." "changes in monotonous routine job" etc. The proportion of those disfavor the rotating 'system was 34.7 percent. giving the reasons of"it impedes development of specialization." "poor job performances." "stress factors" etc. Furthermore. respondents made the following comments in relation to the rotation of duty stations: the nurses should be given the opportunity to participate in the. decision making process: personal interest and aptitudes should be considered: regular intervals for the rotations or it should be planned in advance. etc. 6. For the future career plan. the older. married group with longer nursing experiences appeared to think the nursing as their lifetime career more likely than the younger. single group with shorter nursing experiences ($x^2=61.19.{\;}p=.000;{\;}x^2=41.55.{\;}p=.000$). The reason given for their future career plan regardless of length of future service, was predominantly "personal growth and development" rather than financial reasons. For further analysis, the group those with the shorter career plan appeared to claim "financial reasons" for their future career more readily than the group who consider the nursing job as their lifetime career$(x^2$= 11.73, p=.003) did. This finding suggests the need for careful .considerations in personnel management of nursing administration particularly when dealing with the nurses' career development. The majority of respondents preferred the fixed day shift. However, further analysis of those preferred evening shift by age and civil status, "< 25 years group"(15.1%) and "single group"(13.2) were more likely to favor the fixed evening shift than > 25 years(6.4%) and married(4.8%)groups. This differences were statistically significant ($x^2=14.54, {\;}p=.000;{\;}x^2=8.75, {\;}p=.003$). 7. A great majority of respondents(86.9% or n=647) found to prefer the day shifts. When the four different types of duty shifts(Types A. B. C, D) were presented, 55.0 percent of total respondents preferred the A type or the existing one followed by D type(22.7%). B type(12.4%) and C type(8.2%). 8. When the condition of monetary incentives for the evening(20% of salary) and night shifts(40% of. salary) of the existing duty type was presented. again the day shift appeared to be the most preferred one although the rate was slightly lower(66.4% against 86.9%). In the case of evening shift, with the same incentive, the preference rates for evening and night shifts increased from 11.0 to 22.4 percent and from 0.5 to 3.0 percent respectively. When the age variable was controlled. < 25 yrs group showed higher rates(31.6%. 4.8%) than those of > 25 yrs group(15.5%. 1.3%) respectively preferring the evening and night shifts(p=.000). The civil status also seemed to operate on the preferences of the duty shifts as the single group showed lower rate(69.0%) for day duty against 83. 6% of the married group. and higher rates for evening and night duties(27.2%. 15.1%) respectively against those of the married group(3.8%. 1.8%) while a higher proportion of the married group(83. 6%) preferred the day duties than the single group(69.0%). These differences were found to be statistically all significant(p=.001). 9. The findings on preferences of three different types of fixed duty hours namely, B, C. and D(with additional monetary incentives) are as follows in order of preference: B type(12hrs a day, 3days a wk): day shift(64.1%), evening shift(26.1%). night shift(6.5%) C type(12hrs a day. 4days a wk) : evening shift(49.2%). day shift(32.8%), night shift(11.5%) D type(10hrs a day. 4days a wk): showed the similar trend as B type. The findings of higher preferences on the evening and night duties when the incentives are given. as shown above, suggest the need for the introductions of different patterns of duty hours and incentive measures in order to overcome the difficulties in rostering the nursing duties. However, the interpretation of the above data, particularly the C type, needs cautions as the total number of respondents is very small(n=61). It requires further in-depth study. In conclusion. it seemed to suggest that the patterns of nurses duty hours and shifts in the most hospitals in the country have neither been tried for different duty types nor been flexible. The stereotype rostering system of three shifts and insensitiveness for personal life aspect of nurses seemed to be prevailing. This study seems to support that irregular and frequent rotations of duty shifts may be contributing factors for most nurses' maladjustment problems in physical and mental health. personal and family life which eventually may result in high turnover rates. In order to overcome the increasing problems in personnel management of hospital nurses particularly in rostering of evening and night duty shifts, which may related to eventual high turnover rates, the findings of this study strongly suggest the need for an introduction of new rostering systems including fixed duties and appropriate incentive measures for evenings and nights which the most nurses want to avoid, In considering the nursing care of inpatients is the round-the clock business. the practice of the nursing duty shift system is inevitable. In this context, based on the findings of this study. the following are recommended: 1. The further in-depth studies on duty shifts and hours need to be undertaken for the development of appropriate and effective rostering systems for hospital nurses. 2. An introduction of appropriate incentive measures for evening and night duty shifts along with organizational considerations such as the trials for preferred duty time bands, duty hours, and fixed duty shifts should be considered if good quality of care for the patients be maintained for the round the clock. This may require an initiation of systematic research and development activities in the field of hospital nursing administration as a part of permanent system in the hospital. 3. Planned and regular intervals, orientation and training, and professional and personal growth should be considered for the rotation of different duty stations or units. 4. In considering the higher degree of preferences in the duty type of "10hours a day, 4days a week" shown in this study, it would be worthwhile to undertake the R&D type studies in large hospital settings.

Bacciger harengulae의 생활사에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Life History of Bacciger harengulae)

  • 서해안 금강하구의 내초도에서 1980년 7월부터 1983년 10월까지 맛조개(Solen strictus)의 생식소에 기생한 Bacciger 속 cercaria의 생활사를 구명하고자 sporocyst 및 cercaria의 형태와 발육과정, 기생률을 조사하였다. 또한 제이중간숙주 및 종숙주를 실험실에서 인공감염실험과 함께 내초도자연환경구에서 조사하여 metacercaria와 성충의 발육과정을 조사 연구한 결과 지금까지 밝혀진바 없는 Bacciger harengulae의 생활사가 구명되었다. Bacciger harengulae는 맛조개, 대합, 바지락, 띠조개가 제일중간숙주이고, 밀새우를 제이중간숙주로 하며, 종숙주는 전어, 밴댕이로 밝혀졌다. 맛조개의 생식소에 기생된 성숙한 sporocyst의 크기는 $4.0{\sim}4.3{\times}0.20{\sim}0.21$ mm이고, cercaria는 체부 $270{\times}147{\mu}m$, 미부 $270{\times}147{\mu}m$의 크기로서 꼬리 양측에 27쌍의 강모속과 1개의 강미속은 6본의 가닥으로 되어있다. cercaria의 체내에는 구흡반($52{\times}42{\mu}m$), 인두($32{\times}25{\mu}m$), 복흡반($52{\times}50{\mu}m$)과 2 개의 정소와 V자형의 배설낭이 뚜렷이 나타나며, 화염세포식은 2[(3+3)+(3+3)]=24이다. 3년에 걸쳐 맛조개에 기생하고 있는 cercaria의 평균 기생률은 $9.67\%$ 였는데, 이것은 수온의 변화와는 관계없이 연중기생된다. 기생률이 가장 높은 시기는 수온 $28.8^{\circ}C$인 7월($28.0\%$)이고, 가장 낮은 시기는 수온 $19.5^{\circ}C$인 10월($2.4\%$)이었다. 맛조개의 cercaria 기생률은 각장이 클수록 높았으며, 4.0cm 이하에서는 cercaria가 검출되지 않았다. cercaria가 성숙되는 시기는 년중 수온이 $19.5^{\circ}C$이상 상승하는 $5{\sim}10$월까지며, 수온 $19.5^{\circ}C$이하가 되면 미숙한 cercaria만이 검출된다. Cercaria는 수온 $20^{\circ}C$에서 35시간, $25^{\circ}C$에서는 29시간까지 활력이 있었으며, 생존시간은 각각 71시간, 34시간이었으나 $20^{\circ}C$이하에서는 운동력이 활발하지 못하였다. 맛조개에서 유출된 cercaria를 밀새우에 감염시킨 결과 2{\sim}3시간후에 근육에 기생하였고, 기생한 cercaria는 $7{\sim}8$시간후에 cyst를 형성하였으며, 15일이 경과되어 $420{\times}310{\mu}m$의 성숙한 metacercaria로 발육되었다. 실험실에서 수온 $20^{\circ}C$일때 밀새우의 metacercaria 감염률은 $17.0\%$ 이었고, $25^{\circ}C$때는 $61.0\%$의 높은 감염률을 나타냈으며, 감염된 부위는 제일복절, 두흉부, 제이, 삼, 오복절의 순으로 감염되었다. 내초도의 자연 서식장산 밀새우의 metacercaria 감염률은 수온 $26.5^{\circ}C$인 6월에 $9.6{\sim}11.11\%$, 수온 $28{\sim}29.5^{\circ}C$인 7,8월에는 $1.56{\sim}2.50\%$의 감염률을 나타냈다. metacercaria가 감염된 밀새우를 사육중인 전어에 먹인 결과, 20일후 전어의 장에서 $440{\sim}520{\times}310{\sim}360{\mu}m$의 성충으로 발육되었고, 성숙한 충난은 $20{\sim}24{\times}11{\sim}20{\mu}m$ 크기의 타원형이었다. 실험실에서 검출한 것과 동일한 성충이 내초도의 자연산 전어, 밴댕이에서도 체장과 관계없이 $87.3{\sim}100\%$(평균 $95.2\%$) 검출되었으며, 6, 7월에는 $100\%$ 검출되나, 8, 10월에는 $87.3{\sim}88.9\%$로 그 검출률이 낮아졌다. 전어에서 발육된 성충의 크기와 내부형태를 Yamaguti(1938)가 밴댕이에서 검출한 것과 비교한바, 동일하므로 이 흡충을 Bacciger harengulae로 동정하였다.

  • According as the automation of clerical work(OA ; Office Automation) develops, the use of VDT(Visual or Video Display Terminal) is increasing suddenly. But, in proportion to the spread of office automation(OA tendency), the self-conciousness syptom attendant upon the work is appearing also (Kim, Jung Tae, Lee, Young Ook, 1990). The apparatuses of office enable the clerical workers to be convenient and perform mass businesses. But, they are increasing the opportunity to be exposed to VDT syndrom, techno stress, computer terminal disease, pain by muscle strain(RSI), bradycausia of noise nature, and electromagnetic waves, etc. which are referred to as the new type of occupational diseases to the workers. It is the real situation that the workers to use VDT is complaining of the physical inconvenience sense in the recent newspaper and literature, it is the point of time that the sydrome to come from VDT use and computer terminal disease, etc. must be classified into the occupational disease(Lee, Kwang Young 1990, Lee, Kyoo Hak 1990, Lee, Won Ho 1991, Lee, Si Young 1991, Lee, Joon 1991, Choi, Young Tae 1991, Heo, Seung Ho 1989). In addition, it is the real situation that the scientifitic study result about the scope that electromagnetic waves has influence on the human body has not been suggested yet, and criticism on the stable exposure permission standard about electromagnetic waves to be emitted from VDT and on the problem in the health about electromagnetic waves is continuing. (IEEE Spectrum, 1990). In addition according to the experience of nursery business of industry field, it is the real situation that the patients who consult complaining of physical and mental inconvenience sence, among the users of apparatus of office automation, are reaching 10% of the patients coming to doctor's room. Therefore, it is necessary to confirm the self-consciousness symptom that the clerical workers complain of multilaterally with the actual state examination about the use of the apparatuses of offices automaton. Thus, this study was tried as th basic data for the cosultation and education for the maintenance and furtherance of the health of workers as the nurse of industry field, by confirming the contents of self-consciousness symptom attendant upon the use of the apparatus for office outomation making the financial institution in which the spparatus for office automation in most frequently used as the subject, and by examining whether there is the difference according to the subject of study, the data were collected, by using the questionnaire method, making 200 workers who consented to the study participation as the subject, among the persons who have spent over 3 months since they used the apparatuses for office automation and didn't receive the treatment in hospital due to the clerical disease for recent 3 years. The period of data collection was from Oct. 9, 1991 to Oct. 12. As for the measurement instrument about the complaint if self-consciousness symptom attendant upon the use of apparatuses fo office automation, the question item on the complaint symptom of health problem attendant upon the treatment of VDT that Kim(1991) developed and on CMI health problem and the question items on the fatigue degree due to industry were used by previous examination to 25 persons. Collected data were analyzed with the statistical method such as percentage, arithmetic mean, Person correlation coeffient, Kai square verfication, t-test, ANOVA, etc. by using SPSS/PC+ program, and the result is as follows : 1. The self-consciousness symptom that the clerical workers complained of most frequetly appeared high in 'My eyes are tired'(99.4%), 'I feel fatigue and weariness'(99.4%), 'I feel that my head is heavy5(90.0%), 'eyesight fell'(88.8%), 'I have a stiff neck'(88.8%), 'I fell pain in the shoulder'(85.0%), 'I feel cold and painful in the eyes'(76.9%), 'I feel the dry sense of eyeball'(76.2%), 'My nerves are edgy, and I an fretful, (75.6%), 'I feel pain in the waist'(73.2%) and 'I fell pain in the back'(72.8%). It emerged that the subject use the apparatuses for office automation complained of self-consciousness symptoms related to visual symptoms and musculoskeletal symptoms. 2. As for the general feature of examination subjects, the result to see the distribution by classifying into sex, age, school career, use career of apparatuses for office automation, skillfulness degree of the use of apparatus for office automation, use hours of the apparatuses for office automation per 1 day, type of business of the apparatus for office automation, rest hours during the use of apparatus for office automation, satifaction degree of business of office automation, and work circumstance, etc. emerged as follows : As for the sex of subjects, the distribution showed that men were 58.8% and women were 41.3%, Age was average 26.9. As the distribution of school career, the distribution showed that4below the graduation of high school' was 58.8%, 'graduation from junior college-university' was 35.0%, and 'over graduate school' was 6.3%. In the question to ask the existence or non-existence of experience of health consultation in connection with the work of office automation, the response that I had the consultation exprience and I feel the necessity emergerd as 90.1% And, the case that the subject who didn't wear the glasses or lens before using the OA apparatus wear glasses or lens after using OA apparatus emerged as 28.3% of whole. As for the existence or non-existence of use career of OA apparatus, the case under 3 years was highest as 52. 7%. As for the skillfulnness degree about the use of apparatus for office automation, most of them are skillful with the fact that 'common' was 44.4%, 'skill' was 42.5%, and 'unskillful' was 13.1% As for the use average hours of the apparatus for office automation per 1 day, the distribution showed that the case under 3-6 hours was 33.1%, the case under 6-9 hours was 28.1%, the case under 3 hours was 30.6%, and the case over 9 hours was 8.1% Main OA business and the use hours for 1 day showed in the order of keeping and retrieval, business of information transmission(162min), business of information transmission(79.3 min), business of document framing(55.5 min), and business of duplication and printing(25.4min). as for the rest during the use of apparatus for affice automation, that I take rest occasion demands the major portion, but that I take after completing the work emerged as 33.8%. Though the subiness gets to be convenient by the use of the apparatus for of office automation, respondents who showed the dissatisfaction about the present OA business emergd high as 78.1%. The work circumstances of each office was good with the fact that the temperature of office was 21.8, noise was average 42.7db, and the illumination was average 364.4 lx, in the light of ANSi/HFS 100 Standard. 3. Sight syptom, musculoskeletal symptom, skin and other symptoms showed the significant difference according to the extent of skillfulness of the apparatus for office automation. All the symptoms exept skin symptom showed the difference according to the use hours of the apparatus for office automation. All the question items exept the sytoms of digestive organs and the rest hours during the apparatus for office automation showed the signicant difference. The question item which showed the signicant difference from the satisfaction degree of present OA business showed the significant difference from all the question item classified into 6 groups. But, age and school career didn't significant difference from the complaint of any self-consciousness symptoms.

    . In conclusion, the self-consciousness symptoms of the subjects to use OA apparatus appeared differently, according to sex distiction, skillfull degree of OA apparatus, use hours of OA apparatus, the rest hours during th use of OA apparatus, and the satiafaction degree of persent business. Therefore, it is necessary that the nurse in the inuctry field must recognize to receive the education about the human technological physical condition which is most proper for te use of OA apparatus and about the proper rest method until they get accustomed to the use of OA apparatus. In addition, the simple exercise relax the tention of muscle due to the repetitive simple movement, and the education for the protection of eyesight are necessary.

    • Objectives: The objective of this study is to assess airborne particulate matter pollution and its effect on health of residents living near Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex and its vicinities. Also, this study measured and analyzed the concentration of TSP, $PM_{10}$, $PM_{2.5}$, and heavy metals which influences on the environmental and respiratory disease in Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex, Daegu, Korea. Methods: In this study, we analyzed various environmental pollutants such as particulate matter and heavy metals from Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex that adversely affected local residents's health. In particular, we verified the concentration distribution and characteristics of exposure for TSP, $PM_{10}$, and $PM_{2.5}$ among particulate matters, and heavy metals(Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Fe, Zn, and Mg). In that regard, the official test method on air pollution in Korea for analysis of particulate matter and heavy metal in atmosphere were conducted. The large capacity air sampling method by the official test method on air pollution in Korea were applied for sampling of heavy metals in atmosphere. In addition, we evaluated the concentration of seasonal environmental pollutants for each point of residence in Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex and surrounding area. The sampling measured periods for air pollutants were from August 11, 2013 to February 21, 2014. Furthermore, we measured and analyzed the seasonal concentrations(summer, autumn and winter). Results: The average concentration for TSP, $PM_{10}$, and $PM_{2.5}$ by direct influence area at Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex were 1.7, 1.4 and 1.9 times higher than reference region. In analysis results of seasonal concentrations for particulate matter in four direct influence and reference area, concentration levels for winter were generally somewhat higher than concentrations for summer and autumn. The average concentrations for Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, Fe, and Zn in direct influence area at Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex were $0.0008{\pm}0.0004{\mu}g/Sm^3$, $0.0141{\pm}0.0163{\mu}g/Sm^3$, $0.0248{\pm}0.0059{\mu}g/Sm^3$, $0.0026{\pm}0.0011{\mu}g/Sm^3$, $0.0272{\pm}0.0084{\mu}g/Sm^3$, $0.4855{\pm}0.1862{\mu}g/Sm^3$, and $0.3068{\pm}0.0631{\mu}g/Sm^3$, respectively. In particularly, the average concentrations for Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, Fe, and Zn in direct influence area at Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex were 1.9, 3.6, 2.1, 1.9, 1.4, 2.6, and 1.2 times higher than reference area, respectively. The continuous monitoring and management were required for some heavy metals such as Cr and Ni. Moreover, the average concentration in winter for particulate matter in direct influence area at Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex were generally higher than concentrations in summer and autumn. Also, average concentrations for TSP, $PM_{10}$, and $PM_{2.5}$ were from 1.5 to 2.0 times, 1.2 to 1.8 times, and 1.1 to 2.3 times higher than reference area, respectively. In results for seasonal atmospheric environment, TSP, $PM_{10}$, $PM_{2.5}$, and heavy metal concentrations in direct influence area were higher than reference area. Especially, the concentrations in C station were a high level in comparison with other area. Conclusions: In the results, some particulate matters and heavy metals were relatively high concentration, in order to understand the environmental pollution level and health effect in surrounding area at Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex. The concentration of some heavy metals emitted from direct influence area at Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex were relatively higher than reference area. In particular, average concentration for heavy metals in this study were higher than average concentrations in air quality monitoring station for heavy metal for 7 years in Deagu metropolitan region. Especially, the residents near Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex may be exposed to the pollutants(TSP, $PM_{10}$, $PM_{2.5}$, and heavy metals, etc) emitted from the factories in Ansim Briquette Fuel Complex.

    기관지결핵의 흉부전산화단층촬영소견 및 기관지경소견과의 비교 (Chest CT Finding and Its Comparison with Bronchoscopic Finding in Endobronchial Tuberculosis)

    • 연구배경 : 기관지결핵에서 항결핵치료 전에 기관지경 및 CT검사를 시행하고 기관지경소견에 따른 기관지결핵의 아형별로 CT소견을 비교하여 CT의 역할에 대해서 알고자 하였고 치료후 1개월에는 기관지경 및 CT검사를 추시하여 기관지경소견에 따른 기관지결핵의 아형이 변함에 따라 CT소견은 어떤 변화를 보이는지를 알아 보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 1991년 11월부터 1996년 3월까지 보라매병원에서 기관지경 및 조직검사를 통해 기관지결핵으로 확진된 26명을 대상으로 치료전에 CT를 시행하여 기관지경 소견에 따른 아형을 구분하고 CT소견을 비교하였고 이중 9명에서는 항결핵치료후 1개월에 기관지경, CT 및 폐기능검사를 추적 검사하여 기판지경의 소견에 따른 CT소견의 변화와 폐기능의 변화를 알아보고 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 결 과 : 대상환자들은 총 26명이었고 연령은 17세에서 73세의 분포를 보였으며 성별로는 남성이 1명, 여성이 25명으로 여성이 압도적으로 많았다. 1곳을 침범한 경우가 14예, 2곳을 침범한 경우가 9예, 3곳을 침범한 경우가 3예 였고, 이환된 위치는 좌측 주기관지를 침범한 경우가 13예(단독침법 7예 포함)로 가장 많았다. 이환된 기관지의 길이는 10mm에서 55mm까지 다양하였고 섬유성 협착인경우에는 이환된 길이가 건락성 괴사형에 비해서 짧았다. 기관지의 협착은 26명중 25명(96%)에서 관찰되었는데 폐엽의 허탈에서부터 경미한 협착에 이르기까지 다양했으며, 일반적으로 섬유성 협착인 경우에는 협착의 정도가 건락성 괴사형에 비해서 심했다. 가관지주위조직의 비후는 측정가능했던 23명중 21명(91%)에서 관찰되었는데 섬유성 협착인 경우의 비후의 정도가 건락성 괴사형에 비해서 심했다. 기관지점막의 불규칙정도는 각 아형별로 의미있는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 26명의 환자중 77%인 20명에서 관찰되었으며 우측에서 우월하게 관찰되었고(1 : 5.2), 2예에서는 종대된 림프절이 기관지벽을 침입하여 기관지경검사상 종양형으로 분류되었다. 항결핵치료후 1개월에 기관지경과 CT를 추적 검사했을때 기관지벽주위의 비후 및 종격동림프절의 종대는 유의하게 호전되었으며 기관지내강의 협착은 9명 중 6명에서 호전된 반면 3명에서는 오히려 악화되었다. 결 론 : 기관지결핵에서 CT검사는 기도자체의 병변의 길이, 기도협착의 정도 및 기도주위조직의 비후, 종격동림프 절종대 등의 소견을 잘반영하므로 기관지경검사와 상호 보완되는 역할을 한다.
