  • 대용량 데이터 분석의 필요성이 급격히 증대되면서 이를 가능케 해 주는 플랫폼인 하둡과 그 내부적인 계산 모형인 맵리듀스에 대한 관심 또한 늘고 있다. 본고에서는 R 등의 통계 프로그래밍에 익숙한 데이터 분석가가 하둡을 사용하고자 할 때 알아야 할 기본 개념들을 R과 하둡을 결합하는 몇가지 예제와 함께 소개한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to integrate Decision Theory Approach(DTA) and OR Theory Approach(OTA) systemically. and to develop Combination Theory Approach to build an optimal R&D project portfolio by strategies. To Integrate two approaches. Utility theory is introduced. Evaluation Results aye converted into utility values by the utility functions and the values are optimized by 0-1 programming. Scoring method and Integer programming is used to evaluation a correspondence with a goal and to allocation the limiting resources. And utility function is used to reflect the preference of decision makers on the project evaluation.

  • 본 논문은 최근 세계적인 데이터 개방·공유 정책에 따라 국가R&D 데이터 기반 경영을 위한 효율적인 국가R&D API(Application Programming Interface) 관리시스템 구축과 운영 데이터 활용 가능성 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 국가R&D 데이터 개방·공유 추세에 따라 국가R&D API 서비스의 운영 데이터 분석을 통해 경영효율화 방안을 마련한다. 이를 위해 기존에 개별적으로 배포하던 국가R&D API에 대해 파라미터를 표준화하고 개별 API들을 통합하여 국가R&통합API 관리시스템을 구축한다. 국가R&D API의 서비스 호출 트래픽을 보면 측정을 시작한 2015년 대비 2019년까지 554.5%의 큰 성장세를 이루고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 국가R&D통합API 관리시스템의 실제 운영에 있어서 서비스 운영관리 데이터 기반의 데이터 준비, 분석, 예측을 통해 운영 데이터 활용 가능성을 탐색한다.

An Improved Dynamic Programming Approach to Economic Power Dispatch with Generator Constraints and Transmission Losses

  • This paper presents an improved dynamic programming (IDP) approach to solve the economic power dispatch problem including transmission losses in power systems. A detailed mathematical derivation of recursive dynamic programming approach for the economic power dispatch problem with transmission losses is presented. The transmission losses are augmented with the objective function using price factor. The generalized expression for optimal scheduling of thermal generating units derived in this article can be implemented for the solution of the economic power dispatch problem of a large-scale system. Six-unit, fifteen-unit, and forty-unit sample systems with non-linear characteristics of the generator, such as ramp-rate limits and prohibited operating zones are considered to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The proposed method results have been compared with the results of genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization methods reported in the literature. Test results show that the proposed IDP approach can obtain a higher quality solution with better performance.

  • In the real world there are many linear programming problems where all decision parameters are fuzzy numbers. Several approaches exist which use different ranking functions for solving these problems. Unfortunately when there exist alternative optimal solutions, usually with different fuzzy value of the objective function for these solutions, these methods can not specify a clear approach for choosing a solution. In this paper we propose a method to remove the above shortcoming in solving fuzzy number linear programming problems using the concept of expectation and variance as ranking functions

  • The information technology, such as computer, telecommunication, semi- conductor and software technology, is very crucial to enhance the overall level of industrial technology. The workability of linear programming to decide the R&D investment of information technology has been tested in this paper. The case study of Korea during the year 1995 - 2004 suggests that we should enlarge the total investment volume especially on the software technology.

PLC 기반 머신 비전 시스템 개발 (Development of Machine Vision System based on PLC)

  • This paper proposes a machine vision module for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). PLC is the industrial controller most widely used in factory automation system. However most of the machine vision systems are based on PC (Personal Computer). The machine vision system embedded in PLC is required to reduce the cost and improve the convenience of implementation. In this paper, we newly propose a machine vision module based on PLC. The image processing libraries are implemented and integrated with the PLC programming tool. In order to interface the libraries with ladder programming, the ladder instruction set was also designed for each vision library. By use of the developed system, PLC users can implement vision systems easily by ladder programming. The developed system was applied to sample inspection system to verify the performance. The experimental results show that the proposed system can reduce the cost of installing as well as increase the ease-of-implementation.

  • This paper is concerned with developing a Multi-period Behavioral Model for the portfolio selection problem. The unique feature of the model is that it treats a number of factors and decision variables considered germane in decision making on an interrelated basis. The formulated problem has the structure of a Chance Constrained programming Model. Then empoloying arguments of Central Limit Theorem and normality assumption the stochastic model is reduced to that of a Non-Linear Programming Model. Finally, a number of interesting properties for the reduced model are established.

  • In this paper an algorithm based on cutting plane approach is developed which constructs all the efficient p-tuples of multiobjective integer linear fractional programming problem. The integer solution is constrained to satisfy and h out of n additional constraint sets. A numerical illustration in support of the proposed algorithm is developed.

  • This paper presents new algorithm which is based on LP(Linear Programming) that guarantee convergence. It is considered to minimize generation cost and load shedding as object function subject to various constraints. The proposed algorithm use sensitivity matrix to re-dispatch generation power, so the total CPU time is saved.
