Purpose: The objective of this paper was to analyze the requirements of the end-users by class after carrying out a survey on the user requirements for sleeping bags and utilize the result for effective product development. Methods: The test for difference in means by class was conducted through one sample analysis and one-way ANOVA after the survey result has gone through a reliability verification, and an LSD (Least Significant Difference) test was conducted as a post-mortem method. Results: A significant result was derived from the survey on the user requirements for sleeping bags by method of use, use of combination of sleeping bag components or a sleeping bag alone. Conclusion: The significant result derived from the survey of this paper on the user requirements for sleeping bags can be utilized for effective development of sleeping bags.
This study began to learn wether or not satisfaction factor of rural tourism is effective to visit for the ordinary foreign people. Research method was parallel-site investigation literature, questionnaire. The analytical data of the study, literature 40 reviews, questionnaire 179 survey in 200 of the subject was using. Measurement and scale was set factors of satisfaction with 'Transportation Infrastructure', 'Festival Experience Program', 'Place', 'Room and Food', 'Local People', and 'Buying the Local Product' through the previous studies and preliminary survey. In the statistical analysis method, frequency analysis, crosstabs, multiple regression analysis and a structural equation model analysis was performed, using SPSS and AMOS program. The Structural analysis results showed 'Place' and 'Local People' have an positive effect on the 'Overall Satisfaction'. Satisfaction of the 'Festival ExperienceProgram', had a major impact also 'Intention of Revisit'. Finally for rural tourism fascination, the contents such as the distinctive local attraction, human resources, information transmission and convenient use is more important than the format and scale.
The purpose of this study is to find the connectional structure of mentoring perceived by the 2-year college students who are majoring in fashion, and to develop the scale with which the mentoring effect can be measured on the basis of the results. To achieve the purpose, research was conducted through a survey questionnaire. The research was carried out obtaining data from the 2-year college students. Responses from this questionnaire were gathered from 265 students. The questionnaire was made with 31 mentoring scales and removed inadequate 18 questions for statistics analysis. The remaining questionnaires consisting of 13 questions were categorized into three factors. The first factor (5questions) relates to the sensitivity developmental function. The second factor (5questions) pertains to the psychosocial function and the third factor (3questions) was for the fashion career developmental function. The results derived from the analysis of the questionnaire survey are as follows: First, the role model function is not enticing enough for the student to continue role model or professor for future student. The students are more interested into discovering their own capability in fashion by entering a fashion company. Second, the result of this study was confirmed through descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Third, the results of this study can be a guide-line for professors to help student to which is fashion in spite of outside comment and own future career task.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of leisure behavior of the five-day workweek company employees for developing leisure facilities in residential environment. The questionnaire survey was used. The subjects of questionnaire survey were 247 staffs of 4 banks. The questionnaire consisted of leisure time, the cost of leisure, consciousness of leisure, actual condition and need of leisure activities and spaces, leisure satisfaction and limitation on leisure. Frequency, percentage, and mean, correlation, $x^2-test$, and factor analysis were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Leisure is necessary to strengthen the unity of family and cultivate the sentiment. 2) The degree of satisfaction of leisure facilities was lower than neutral. The satisfaction of leisure facilities related with cost, time of leisure, information of leisure facilities and program, and leisure environment. 3) Present leisure behavioral characteristics were restrictive and passive. However, the subjects showed hopes to increase their leisure activities and to engage in diverse forms of leisure in the future. Also, they showed an increased desired ratios in participating in each leisure activities. 4) In terms of location, they needed leisure facilities which was closer to their house.
This study investigated the effects of collocation-based vocabulary instruction for the experimental group (G2). It was compared to the traditional wordlist-based vocabulary instruction for the control group (G1). This results reflect the development of low level high school EFL learners' vocabulary learning strategy use and the positive change in the affective domain. In the analysis of the survey responses, G1 and G2 did not differ significantly on the first questionnaire. They did, however, differ significantly on the second questionnaire. G2 used more strategies to discover and to consolidate the meaning of the words by means of combining words. In terms of the affective domain, G2 participated more actively in the learning activities, which had a significant effect on vocabulary growth, memory, self-confidence, motivation, and cooperative learning. This is attributable to the fact that G2 was more inquisitive, interested, challenged, participatory, cooperative, and attentive than G1 in performing the vocabulary task activities. Moreover, the data collected from the questionnaire showed that G2 performed more interactive and dynamic activities in solving the given tasks.
The operator's performance of nuclear power plants is affected by many performance shaping factors(PSF). The objective of this study is to find out the PSFs and their effect on the nuclear power plant operations. We extracted PSFs in five category, and identified the relationships between PSFs and performance using the four survey methods; literture survey, case study, video task analysis and questionnaire survey. Finally the knowledge on PSFs and their effect was represented as rule form for cognitive simulation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the consumer's expectation before the health care service and the consumer's satisfaction after it. The participants of the study are inpatients in a general hospital located in Seoul. The resources were collected from the self-administration questionnaire survey run parallel with face to face interview. In order to measure the degree of the consumer's expectation, 349 samples were collected from the first questionnaire survey on the date of admission to the hospital. The second questionnaire survey was carried out on the date of discharge to the hospital with the participants responding to the first questionnaire survey. There are 154 samples collected from this survey. The results from the analysis of these resources are as follow. First, the survey shows that one of the highest consumers' expectations was about the generosity, kindliness and sincerity from the staff at the hospital, specially from doctors. Second, according to the analysis of the factors affecting the expectations of the consumers, with regard to path of admission to a hospital relating to patient's features, outpatient who gets into a hospital expected good medical care much more than the other patients. In regard of doctor's features, patients usually and highly expect good medical care from doctors who have good carrier and much experience. Third, according to the second questionnaire survey, what patients are satisfied most with is about the generosity and sincerity from staff at a hospital, especially from doctors and their gem attitudes. The results from survey show that the differences among the degree of consumers' satisfaction are very variable, depending on surrounding environments and facilities. The only fact that expectation didn't meet with satisfaction appeared to the case about technology and skill of medical care and the case about updated medical skills and equipments. Fourth, comparing the degree of expectation with the degree of satisfaction of consumers, correlative analysis was concerned significantly and specifically about the part of overall cleanliness relating to facilities and surrounding environments, the items about medical examination and test plan procedure relating to skill of medical care, professional specialties and convenience for procedure, and the items about satisfying explanations and concern about patients from doctors relating to staff's generosity and sincerity. Fifth, the analysis of the factors affecting the degree of how much patients are satisfied with shows that relating to sociodemographical features, patients are not satisfied with the case when the time and process of medical treatment are getting longer. It is surveyed that consumer were satisfied with the motivation to visit a hospital and the insurance type in patient's feature and so were the medical department and the factor of the degree of the expectation in disease's feature. Sixth, according to analysis based on the survey, patients would join again a hospital when they get satisfaction from the medical care and also they want to come again regarding to doctor's capability. For example, when doctors are old, have a good carrier and much experience, patients would come again. As seen from the above, consumers are usually satisfied with the medical treatment more than that they expected before. They would intend to use again when they get satisfaction from the medical care provided at a hospital. Patients and consumers highly expect good attitude as well as capacity from medical doctors and they are also generally satisfied with those things. Therefore, in order to increase the degree of consumer's satisfaction and their intention to come again, the hospital staff would have to commit themselves to achieve high quality service continuously and would have to make an effort to offer the finest quality service.
Background : To study any interference of demonstrated in different patient satisfaction scores for the same questionnaires handled by hospital staff and by independent surveyors, respectively. Methods : This study included 728 subjects who were admitted to a university hospital from June 22 to July 1, 1999. The contents of the questionnaire were composed of six dimensions: hospital structure and process, staffs technical competence and humaneness, information & education and communication. Measurements were performed on a 5-score Likert scale. T-test and logistic regression analysis were also performed. Results : In an outpatient survey, satisfaction scores from a questionnaire delivered by hospital staff were significantly higher than independent surveyors for the dimension of communication, but no differences were shown among other dimensions. In an inpatient survey, satisfaction scores by hospital staff were higher for the process and communication dimensions(p<0.05). In particular, in both the inpatient and outpatient surveys, the difference of satisfaction scores for personnel items were significant between groups. After adjustment for age and sex those differences were significant between groups. Conclusion : To minimize the bias on questionnaire survey, the effects of personnel, who deliver and gather the questionnaire should be carefully considered in the evaluation of health service satisfaction.

Objectives: This study is aimed at inquiring into the grasp of real condition of working environment and improvements by calculating the hypertension distribution consequent on job stress risk and exposure level of alleviating factors. In addition, this study is intending to estimate the hypertension distribution through socio-demographic factors and level of stressors occurring at working environment, such as high workload, low control, low support, job insecurity, long working hours, low income. Methods: This study estimated the hypertension distribution using the tertiary Korean Working Conditions Survey data, and conducted comparative analysis according to the category of individual questionnaire items using odds ratio. Result: As a result of study, it was found that in the event that working environment satisfaction is low and business & an immediate superior's attitudes are negative, the hypertension distribution was high. Particularly, it was found that physical risk factor musculoskeletal risk factor, and mental risk factor in a workplace were all increasing the hypertension distribution. Conclusions: With the aged workers' labor market participation ratio increasing, hypertension could be a major issue in the field of Occupational Safety and Health. Thus, it's necessary that the relevant employer should lower the hypertension distribution through creation of pleasant working environment and inducement of workers to improve in the relations with their superiors. As for the uppermost limit of this study, there is a limit to clarifying the mechanism of hypertension through multivariate statistics analysis because it's difficult to establish causal relationship by individual questionnaire item as the working conditions survey is made by cross-sectional study. In the follow-up research, this study is going to do research on the mechanism of hypertension through questionnaire supplementation and in-depth analysis.

This research was executed in order to analyze the factors and strengths of learning difficulties that science-gifted high-school students experienced in Korea Science Academy. The subjects are 284 gifted high-school students from Korea Science Academy who responded to a paper-and-pencil questionnaire survey. The questionnaire used in this research was developed by focusing on the difficulties in the learning situations of science-gifted highschool students based on Rhodes' 4P theory of creative achievement. The data was analyzed using cross-tabulation analysis, frequency analysis, MANOVA by the SPSS 12.0 program. The analysis of the questionnaire survey on the learning difficulties showed (i) a grade difference in interpersonal relationship and (ii) gender differences in learning ability and learning strategies. Also, it was observed that the students tried to solve their learning difficulties most frequently by meeting their school peers except for methods of 'the others' such as relying on religious power.
