The impacts of guideline for digestives on physicians' prescription of GI medication Clinical practice guidelines provide benefits to physicians, patients, and researchers. It also helps doctors to make decisions in medical services. In many countries, practice guidelines lead to activities of quality improvement and are developed using evidence based methods. This research was to assess the impacts of Korean Medical Association's guideline for digestives on the change of physicians' behavior. This study was progressed as one-group pre-test post-test quasi-experimental design using health insurance claims data. The unit of analysis was institution. Data was analyzed using paired t-test for change of prescription rate before and after the distribution of practice guidelines. And the multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the independent impact of the guideline on the prescribing rate of GI medication. Prescription rates of GI medication per claim by medical institution increased significantly, 1.98%point (from 50.27% to 52.25%) and multivariate regression analysis showed significant increase in the prescription rate of GI medication after the distribution of guideline (p<0.001). In conclusion, the distribution of guideline for digestive might not have the effects on the change in provider's behavior. Furthermore, to activate the use of practice guideline, it would be necessary to educate the contents to physicians as well as to develop practice guideline.

This is a report on the history and current status of production planning and control activities in South Korea with regard to Industrial Engineers' (IEs') role. One of the main characteristics of Korean global companies is that they make good use of IEs not only in their production but also in higher strategic fields like supply chain management. In these companies it is well demonstrated that instead of adding small part of IE skills to traditional engineers, it is much more competitive to have IEs work with them as a team since IEs are fully proficient in every kind of productivity and quality improvement tools. It is also observed that IEs become more productive when they have good domain knowledge in their own industries like semi-conductor, automobile, telecommunications, steel, shipbuilding, etc. So teaching the basics for manufacturing processes to IE students seems very important for their future career development.

Purpose: This study was performed to verify the effect of rhythmic activity program on the elderly particularly their level of instrumental activities of daily living(IADL), depression and sleep. Method: The design of this study is one-group pretest-post test design. Three self-reported questionnaires were used as follows: first, the IADL Scale developed by Lawton and Brody(1969) and revised by Suh(1996) for measuring IADL, second, the Geriatric Depression Scale developed by Sheikh and Yesavage(1986) and revised by Song(1991) for measuring depression, third, Korean Sleep Scale developed by Oh, Song, & Kim(1998) for measuring sleep aspects; fourth, the applied version of Facial Pain Scale developed by Wong & Baker(1988) and revised by Song(2004) for measuring sleep quality. Twenty-seven elderlies carried out 50 minutes of rhythmic activity program for 4 weeks. Before and after the experiment, they were tested for IADL, depression and sleep. Collected data were processed using the SPSS/WIN 12.0 program analyzed by the frequency, percentage, mean and paired t-test. Results: The improvement in IADL of the elderly was not enhanced significantly but depression and sleep disorders significantly decreased. Conclusion: Rhythmic activity program is an effective nursing intervention for the elderly.

Moreover, existence of various design languges according to design activities by architects un der that industrial structure is also regarded as the characters of that furniture industry. Through understanding the characters of Italian furniture industry and the drivig force of the growth, I would I ike to propose a role model for our domestic furniture industry.

In this paper, high-quality business-type communications(UC) capabilities of the communication activities overlap, waste, reducing rework process improvement provides for high efficiency. Messages sent via UC app development, FMC calling features, schedule management organization for the development and deployment DataBase UC server deployment, the search for the JSP implementation, XMPP is using the messaging system. IP-PBX running on the IP network, on the basis of UC applications in real life, improve utilization of the infrastructure necessary to provide services to the system design and implementation.

Turkey has a very rich fungal flora due to its phytogeographical position. The screening of chemical content and active substances of mushrooms becomes an important subject not only for Turkey but also for all over the world. In the last decade, Analyses on phytochemical and biological activity of fungi have gradually increased as a result of improvement in the number and quality of facilities. In the scope of the present research, four medicinal mushrooms; Morchella elata, Lactarius volemus, Cantharellus cibarius and Tricholoma terreum were analyzed for their fatty acid compositions and antioxidant capacities. The fungal species have been found with unsaturated fatty acid/saturated fatty acid ratio of 6.73 for Morchella elata, 4.12 for Lactarius volemus, 5.21 for Cantharellus cibarius, 3.73 for Tricholama terrum. In addition, the concentration of malondialdehyde which was an indicator of lipid peroxidation was also determined in these species. According to the results, free radical scavenging activity of Morchella elata and Lactarius volemus were found higher than the other species. Any of the mushroom species investigated were found having very high metal chelating activity. The results showed that the extract of Morchella elata and Lactarius volemus exhibited significant antioxidant activities. Hence, the mushrooms have a potential to be a natural antioxidant in food industries as antioxidant agent.

In this study, the actual states and cases utilizing lake dykes were investigated focusing on large-scale reclamation project in domestic and instances in advanced foreign countries. The attitudes investigation concerning lake dykes utilization was performed to residents in-and-around Saemangeum. According to the research result, in domestic the utilization of lake dyke have not attracted attention because maximizing land use, which was the primary purpose of reclamation project at the early stage, has been emphasized so far. The advanced foreign countries, however, not only make use of farmland, but also develop activities employing lake dykes. According to the result of an analysis for local residents' attitudes, they want to be used Saemangeum lake dykes as a multifunctionality facilities performing a role of environment friendly equipment as well as a breakwater. They also require further investigation and to be introduced new system far utilizing as a multifunctionality facilities. Recently, green tourism is getting attention more and more owing to laying stress on balanced development of country and improvement on life quality of rural residents and launching five days in duty. It is believed that on this favorable trend lake dykes an be employed as a primary tourism resource if its utilization is developed actively.

Objectives: The purpose of this article was to investigate the current practice of diabetes education along with the specific interventions, process, and outcomes in community health centers in Korea. Methods: Data were collected by a mail questionnaire from September 20, 2012 to December 20, 2012. Among 253, a total of 161 responded, constituting a 63.3% return rate. Results: Primary staff of diabetes education was the nurse and respondents recognized their role largely as a director. More than half of respondents provided education to people with type 2 diabetes by group. Most common service offered was nutrition therapy and the majority of respondents used printed materials. Among 4 criteria of outcomes, eating (nutrition), knowledge scores, blood pressure, and patients' survey on satisfaction were collected most frequently. Nearly three quarters of respondents were not participated in activities for quality improvement and outcomes were not reported properly. Conclusions: The results are able to draw ideas for organizing diabetes education programs and evaluating outcomes in community heath centers. This article has significance that it is the first comprehensive survey of diabetes education practice in community health centers and provides a baseline for establishing national standards of diabetes self-management education.

The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data required for the development and operation of high-quality education programs for newly married couples. The subjects were 60 education programs for newly married couples that were performed by 30 Healthy Family Support Centers in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area. The collected data were analyzed by applying appropriateness, efficiency, and effectiveness on the basis of program plan, execution, and evaluation. The results were as follows. First, the appropriateness of the program plans was no center that performed need survey. As for program advertisement, on-line, off-line, and person -to-person advertisements were used. Second, the education goals and contents were classified according to healthy family life, the essence of the marriage, gender equality, conflict management, problem prevention, relationship improvement, understanding of mutual similarities or differences, financial plan and management, and parenting. Each session lasted 2 hours, and the total number of program hours was 5 to 6 hours. The education methods were activities, lectures, and discussions.

An Education-Industrial cooperative system is a systematic effort that industrial body and educational body cooperate with each other in order to achieve two different purposes. This paper suggested an education-industrial cooperative system model based on the experiential learning through cooperating with the industry. SEARIM, the research activities company is received the guideline for the improvement and management of quality regarding products by using TRIZ/6-sigma. Also, we evaluated and analyzed the product of this study result based on the result a survey.
