In order to carry out TQM and 6 Sigma management, it is the key elements to make clear a goal and a mission. Above all, we can succeed In achieving a dramatic change and a great outcome only when we make clear the method, incentives, organization and plans under the clear objective. In order to secure the competitiveness against the external challenge, it is essential to keep the several crucial factors such as CEO's will, the systematic process to measure and manage, monitoring to satisfy customer's needs and an aggressive development of TQM activity to encourage the endeavour of the relentless enhancement, and also a positive effort Is to be made for evaluating all quality culture like training experts internally by an outstanding training program under CEO's firm leadership. This study is carried out to understand that which features and factors of success can exist in a company culture if a company accepts a theoretical basis and concept, the general of TQM and 6 Sigma which are one of a management strategy, and carries out TQM and 6 Sigma for achieving improvement of quality and customer's satisfaction.

Background: In this research, we conducted an analysis to grasp the relationship between hearing and quality of life and to prepare effective troubleshooting. Methods: In this study, we analyzed using the data of the 6th term of the National Health and Nutrition Survey of the Disease Management Headquarters. And, out of 7,380 people, 3,598 adults over the age of 40 years who participated in the hearing test were selected as final research subjects and analyzed. Results: It was confirmed that the result of the analysis affects the quality of life based on hearing. The quality of life associated with hearing loss was unpleasant, motor ability, anxiety/depression, and everyday life affected in order of self management. And factors having an effect on the quality of life of the study subjects were found to be gender, elderly, unmarried, low hearing, low household income, absence of economic activity, and low teaching standards. Conclusion: The conclusion is that strengthening education for realistic management and prevention rather than treatment for unconditional hearing impairment will overcome low self esteem and loneliness and alleviate any uncomfortable life that people with hearing loss give. It is expected to be possible.

Purpose : Recently, many quality issues are aroused in military forces, such as failures in K-series weapons, combat uniforms' defects and 40mm ammunition explosion accident. To address these problems, Defense Agency for Technology and Quality(DTaQ) introduced new systems such as Manufacturing Readiness Assessment(MRA), Test Report Information System(TRIS) and so on. However, these activities require the human and time resources which cannot be increased in short period. In this paper, we suggest more practical and efficient product examination method. Methods : The most popular and widely used government's quality assurance technique is a sampling method to examine the product. In this research, we first reviewed the DTaQ's quality assurance regulation, then identified several possible problems and finally suggested more efficient and effective sampling plans. Results : We have suggested new sampling framework and evaluated its performance on two military supplies by comparing with other sampling method, and observed that the number of tested samples can be substantially reduced. Therefore, required quality assurance time can be saved. Conclusion : In this paper, we first reviewed the product examination frameworks of DTaQ, PPQMS and DCMA. Then we identified several possible problems which can cause the loss of objectivity and time. To handle these problems, we suggested the new product examination framework and tested the framework to verify the performance.

Research Problem: 45-65% of all medical supplies in hospital are used in operating rooms. Medical supplies in operating rooms are difficult to manage in general because many of them are frequently used and come in a variety of types. Purpose: Our aim was to strive for user-friendliness and reduce the inventory through efficient management of medical supplies stocked in operating rooms. Medical Facility: Korea University, Ansan Hospital Quality Improvement Activity: On the last day of each month, we checked the inventory of medical supplies in all operating rooms by identifying the amount of medical supplies in each room, warehouse, and OCS, identified problems, and presented the ways to improve. Improvement Outcome: We increased the number of post-processing medical supply items by 8%, and reduced the inventory cost by 15% through improved management of medical supplies.

Various successful TQM procedures have contributed to solve the problems in actual business, but recently it is required to more speedily perform the improvement activity and to challenge solving foreseen latent engineering problems in addition to existing ones. This paper proposes a new scientific methodology which enables us to perform the requirements and to improve the principle of TQM. The performance of the proposed method is illustrated through same practical studies.

In this study, we will be helpful to activity of Interchanges of different Section of Industry by concretely suggestion of the utility operation method of Interchanges of different Section of Industry in the many-sided point. In the country, already a 400 species and some Interchanges of different Section of Industry have been organized and a number of related industry come to a 4000 species. But in the present, Interchanges of different Section of Industry stay at a form of a friendly society as yet.

Financial variables have been used in bankruptcy prediction. Despite of possible errors in prediction, most existing approaches do not consider the causal time sequence of prediction activity and bankruptcy phenomena. This paper proposes a prediction method using Neyman-Pearson Theorem and Bayes' rule. The proposed method uses posterior probability concept and determines a prediction policy with appropriate error rate.

본 연구는 제7기 국민건강영양조사의 원시자료를 이용하여, 65세 이상의 골관절염 노인 104명을 대상으로 3가지 신체활동 즉 걷기, 근력운동, 유산소 활동에 대한 각각의 실천율과, 일반적 특성에 따른 신체활동 실천율의 차이와 신체활동이 스트레스 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과 여성이 남성에 비해 근력운동 실천율 낮았으며, 주관적 건강상태가 좋을수록 걷기와 유산소 활동 실천율이 높게 나타났다. 스트레스에서는 스트레스를 느끼는 군이 스트레스가 전혀 없다는 군에 비해 걷기와 유산소 활동 실천율이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 스트레스를 조금 느낀다고 한 군이 3일 이상 걷기를 가장 많이 실천하였다. 건강관련 삶의 질(EQ-5D)에서 운동능력은 신체활동을 실천하지 않는 군에 비해 걷기, 근력운동, 유산소 활동을 실천하는 군이 운동능력이 좋았으며, 자기 관리에서는 걷기, 유산소 활동을 실천하는 군이 자기 관리에 문제가 없었고, 일상활동은 걷기, 근력운동을 실천하는 군이 일상활동 수준도 높게 나타났다. 통증/불편 영역에서는 걷기를 실천하는 군이 통증/불편감이 적게 나타났으며, 불안/우울 영역에서는 걷기 실천하는 군이 불안/우울이 적게 나타났다. 결론적으로 골관절염 노인의 삶의 질을 높이고, 스트레스를 관리하기 위해서는 신체활동 수준을 높이려는 적극적인 노력이 필요하며, 특히 여성 골관절염 노인의 신체활동의 중요성에 대한 인식개선이 우선적으로 강조되어야 한다고 본다.
