A Study of the Development of Curriculum for Healthcare Information Professionals (의료정보관리사 교과과정 개발을 위한 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study is to analyze curriculums in colleges operating a department related to medical information in Korea and to propose the roles of medical information professionals, medical information professionals qualifying examination and a plan to raise medical information specialists demanded in the field. In addition, this study purposed to suggest establishing programs for job training and supplementary education of medical information professionals through sharing contents among colleges. For these purposes, this study proposed a plan to construct the infrastructure of Internet-based domestic medical information and education network for the service of integrated medical information system standardized centering on the Healthcare Information Center.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the recognition of the curriculum experts on 2015 integrated liberal arts and natural sciences curriculum revision. Research method is a delphi survey and the subjects are curriculum experts. The research results are as follows. Firstly, experts suggested common education for all students and students' opportunities to choose subjects. Secondly, the direction of curriculum revision was different by school level. The elementary school needs to foster convergence thinking. The middle school needs to educate common basic literacy education and the high school needs both the common education and the free choice of subjects by students. Thirdly, the separation of the liberal arts and natural sciences was caused by the separate thinking of custom, tradition and study and the separate exam application on liberal arts and natural science of college scholastic ability test. The solution about separation problem of liberal arts and natural sciences have been proposed to improve mathematics education and teachers' convergence education competency. Lastly, for the establishment of an 2015, integrated curriculum the reduction of the CSAT test area and the introduction of qualifying examination for English were required.

  • The educational system has been changed owing to Web, which is most actively used on internet and has the characteristics of providing suitable environments for implementing constructivism study theory. WBI(Web Based Instruction), web-mediated teaching form for students at a long distance, has the advantages of possible interact between instructors and learners, offering a great variety of learning materials, and overcome the spatiotemporal restriction. This paper focuces on the construction of learning surroundings where the learner-centered, active learning can be done by design and Implementation of web based instruct system providing a sham examination with an item pool system. The web based Self-directed Learning system for word processor qualifying exams on this paper, can be mentioned as a real item pool that the question is not setting each time by the instructors but can be reused by reference on item pool bank, designed the number of question. It helps the learner Self-directed Learning study with evaluation during the web based instruct process and immediate feedback. It also provides the chance to research some similar using keyword. To sum up, this system can amplify the efficiency of study.

Study on activities of some occupational health nurses in Kyungnam area (경남지역 일부 산업간호사의 업무수행에 관한 연구)

  • Authors purposed to observe activities of occupational health nurses and it's related factors, and to suggest the way that induct better occupational health nurses' activities with questionaire to 87 occupational health nurses who individually work as health manager in the plant. The questionaire included type of plant and number of workers, general characteristics, work conditions, activities, etc. Major findings are as follows. 1. 82.8% of occupational health nurses were third decade. 93.1% graduated junior college or college. And 82.8% were not married. 2. General work conditions: 40.2% were belonged to safety-health section, 98.85% were mere clerks. 60.9% worked less than weekly 44 hours, and an annual salary of 50.6 % was between 10 million and 14 million won. 3. Work condition related to health manager work: there was separated health care room in 94.3%, working period as health manager(occupational health nurse) was less than 5 years in 70.1%, 49.4% had the out-of-health manager work. In 87.4%, occupational physician was appointed, only 6.9% of them were full time, 52.9% of them worked little in the plants. The problems related to workers' health were discussed with industrial nurses in 88.5%. 4. Attitude for their work: 88.5% were thought that their work is important for workers' health care, 57.5% satisfied to work as health manager. In 51.7%, motive to being industrial nurse were the appropriate aptitude. 5. Activities: General medical care in 100% were carried out, in 97.7% works related to general health examination, in 100% works related to special health examination were carried. But works related to use of protective apparatus were carried out in 20.8%. 6. Factors related to level of activities: In cases who solved the health related problems by themselves, the level of activites was significantly higher than in others. In cases there were full time occupational physician, the level of activities was significantly lower. 7. Occupational health nurse's needs: 100% wanted regular education, 89.7% wanted the qualifying examination. As the results, author suggests that the right of self-control is given to occupational health nurses and the work of occupational physician is clearly defined for the induction of the better activities of occupational health nurses.

  • The qualification test for robot technology is developed to provide a standard for evaluating professional knowledge on robotics and is currently under consideration to be one of the government-approved qualification tests. This test has a level to which elementary school students can apply, but is not recognized by most teachers in elementary school compared to so called "after school robot classes." This paper addresses and analyzes the current status of the test, in particular, the qualification standards, organizing committee, examples of problems used in the test, etc. It is suggested that the level of difficulty and contents covered should be properly adjusted. Moreover, it is essential to provide well organized supplementary material for students and wide range of contents on which a solid standard for evaluating robot technologies can be developed.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a curriculum based on the National Competency Standards(NCS) to raise the higher professional staffs that can adapt to environmental changes due to globalization and local industry demands and to improve the quality of learning and to accept policy of the Ministry of Education. We conducted with the measurement of Educational performance by pre/post, 3 dignosis test. As a result, There were improvements in Educational Performance. Based upon Educational performance and analysis, several new directions for NCS education in the filed of LIS curriculum are suggested. We hope from this study that an application of NCS would be activated fully in Library, educational institutes and qualifying examination institutes and that diverse feedbacks from related parties would make a lead to a better updated version of NCS development in library.

  • The purpose of this study is to select the talented and competent personal caregiver personnel through a professional and rational inspection system, and to provide safer personal care services to the public so that the people who are eligible for service can lead a safe life. The purpose of this study is to cultivate qualified and competent personal guardian personnel and provide professional and stable services to the people so that the people who can use the service can lead a safer life. In order to grow into a system that meets the objectives of the personal guardian qualification screening system, it must be revised and supplemented from various evaluation methods. The improvement measures related to the practical test of the system for qualifying personal guardians are as follows. First, the fitness evaluation items should be added. Second, it is necessary to reestablish the test technology. (Remove technology that causes the second threat) (Adds skills that can be used as civilian status) Third, the fallout and application action must be added. Fourth, evaluation in various starting positions is necessary. Fifth, evaluation should be made by diversifying the distance and direction with the opponent.

  • The purpose of this paper is to discuss the design and implementation of a WCBT(Web and Computer based Test). The WCBT combines the strengths of both a WBT(Web-based test) and a CBT(Computer-based test) on the basis of efficiency and stability. The current assessment system, considered an important management tool in the construction and operation of a total management system for the national technical qualification, has some unstable elements with regard to system load and stability. The proposed system's technological aspects have been tested through a basic simulation pilot program. The pilot program will be expanded to include the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry because the stability of the system was proved through its application to the real-time national technical examination of KCCI (Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The WCBT system has shown great efficiency in terms of system load, and has solved frequent communication problems which have occurred through the use of foreign qualifying examinations. The server and client systems of the WCBT have been given good evaluations with regard to the convenience of their use and the management system for operators and supervisors.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems of the way of the 32th TOPIK(advanced)'s management for the disabled examinee and to prescribe the management of the TOPIK for them. Since the TOPIK started in 1997, the number of examinee who take it as a qualifying exam for the university entrance have gradually increased. The first disabled examinee who wants to use the result of the TOPIK for entrance into the post graduated university took the 32th TOPIK(advanced level). However, there was no examination regulations and detailed management method for the disabled. The biggest problem was the examinee could not have braille test and answer. The exam supervisor read all that is printed on the test sheet. It caused two big problems. 1) The essay question in writing test became an oral test. 2) The strategies of answering to multiple choice questions could not be used in vocabulary/grammar, writing, listening, and specially reading section. The first problem is occurred because writing and speaking have different cognitive process. The second one can be strongly related to the result in reading section. Above all, these disrupt accurate assessment of the examinee's writing and reading achievement. Therefore, this research insists the TOPIK needs to have the regulation and prescribe the management for the disabled. This research suggests 5 regulations for the blind examinee which covers the test time, supervisor, place and request of the examinee. These refer to the regulation for the disable in the other tests, such as the college scholarship ability test, TOEFL, TEPS, and a civil service exam.

  • In a small sense Job creation is the making of certificate and In the big sense the government will create new industries and create jobs accordingly. therefore We used the most similar ISE as an example and linked it with the PMP of PMBOK. And I tried to standardize this process by deriving the detailed knowledge required for the foundation. As a result, eleven stages such as creation of (1) Job creation making plan (2) Offer on registration of private qualification (3) business process analysis (4) Confirmation of test criterion (5) Reception system development (6) Educational book development (7) Assist open lecture (8) TEST notice plan making (9) Implement training for certification (10) Operation of qualifying examination and Never ending training. Afterwards It will become the data for the development of the Professional making a job in the future.
