The I/Q unbalance which is generated by non-ideal components such as a $90^{\circ}$ phase shifter and I/Q filters is an inevitable physical phenomenon and leads to performance degradation when we implement a coherent two-dimensional (2-D) modulation/demodulation system. This paper provides an exact and general expression for the SEP(symbol error probability) of DVB-S2 system with I/Q phase and amplitude unbalance over AWGN channel. Coordinate rotation and shift techniques used to redefine a received signal are key mathematical tools. In conclusion, the derived result is expressed as a linear combination of the 2-D Gaussian Q-functions.
In this paper, to solve the problem of contradiction is proposed new RPS-TRIZ. RPS-TRIZ is evolved from TRIZ technique which 6SC of existing and tries to adopt the strong point of the Q-TRIZ techniques. RPS-TRIZ can be used to improve problems in the field more quickly and easily.
Quantitative nuclear magnetic resonance (qNMR) has been gaining attention as a purity assessment method. In particular, qNMR is recognized as the primary method to realize the Internal System of Units (SI) in organic analysis. The capability of quantitative analysis is recognized as the beginning of NMR development. NMR signals are proportional to the number of nuclei and qNMR has been used in various fields, such as metabolomics and food and pharmaceutical analysis. However, careful sample preparation and thorough optimization of measurement parameters are required to obtain accurate and reliable results. In this review, quantitative methods used in qNMR are discussed, and the important factors to be considered also introduced. The recent development of qNMR techniques including combination with chromatography and, multidimensional NMR are also presented.

Organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs) are widely used as one of the information display techniques. We synthesized (1,10-phenanthroline)- (8-hydroxyquinoline) [Zn(Phen)q]. We studied the improvement of OLEDs properties using Zn(phen)q. The Ionization Potential(IP) and the Electron Affinity(EA) of Zn(phen)q investigated using cyclic voltammetry(CV). The IP, EA and Eg were 7.leV, 3.4eV and 3.7eV, respectively. The PL spectrum of Zn(phen)q was yellowish green as the wavelength of 535nm. In this study, we used Zn(phen)q as electron transporting layer(ETL) inserted between emitting layer(EML) and cathode. As a result, Zn(phen)q is useful as electron transporting layer to enhance the performance of OLEDs.

Untargeted metabolomics is a useful tool for drug development focusing on novel chemotherapeutic and chemopreventative agents against cancer cells. In recent years, quadrupole time of flight liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (Q-TOF LC/MS)-based untargeted metabolomic approaches have gained importance to evaluate the effect of these agents at the molecular level. The researchers working on cell culture studies still do not apply standardized methodologies on sample preparation for untargeted metabolomics approaches. In this study, the rough and wet lysis techniques performed on MCF-7 breast cancer cells were compared with each other via the Q-TOF LC/MS-based metabolomic approach. The C18 and hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) columns were used for the separation of the metabolites in MCF-7 cell lysates. 505 peaks were detected through the HILIC column and 551 peaks were found through the C18 column for the wet lysis technique. This situation supported by the base peak chromatograms showed that the wet lysis technique allowed us to extract higher number of non-polar metabolites. Almost equal number of metabolites was found for the C18 and HILIC columns (697 peaks for the HILIC column and 695 peaks for the C18 column) when the rough lysis technique was used. However, the intensities of polar metabolites were higher for the rough lysis technique on base peak chromatograms for both the HILIC and C18 columns. Although cell lysis technique, which is the first step in the sample preparation for cell culture studies, does not cause dramatic differences in the number of the detected metabolite peaks, it affects the polar and non-polar metabolite ratio significantly. Therefore, it must be considered carefully especially for in vitro drug development studies.

During the last several decades, a great variety of fractional kinetic equations involving diverse special functions have been broadly and usefully employed in describing and solving several important problems of physics and astrophysics. In this paper, we aim to find solutions of a type of fractional kinetic equations associated with the (p, q)-extended 𝜏 -hypergeometric function and the (p, q)-extended 𝜏 -confluent hypergeometric function, by mainly using the Laplace transform. It is noted that the main employed techniques for this chosen type of fractional kinetic equations are Laplace transform, Sumudu transform, Laplace and Sumudu transforms, Laplace and Fourier transforms, P𝛘-transform, and an alternative method.
The purpose of this work is the development of a method for an effective, less expensive, rapid, and simultaneous determination of three phenolic compounds (caffeic acid, gallic acid, and quercetin) widely present in food resources and known for their antioxidant powers. The method relies on partial least squares (PLS) calibration of UV-visible spectroscopic data. This model was applied to simultaneously determine, the concentrations of caffeic acid (CA), gallic acid (GA), and quercetin (Q) in six herb infusion extracts: basil, chive, laurel, mint, parsley, and thyme. A wavelength range (250-400) nm, and an experimental calibration matrix with 21 samples of ternary mixtures composed of CA (6.0-21.0 mg/L), GA (10.0-35.2 mg/L), and Q (6.4-17.5 mg/L) were chosen. Spectroscopic data were mean-centered before calibration. Two latent variables were determined using the contiguous block cross-validation procedure after calculating the root mean square error cross-validation RMSECV. Other statistic parameters: RMSEP, R2, and Recovery (%) were used to determine the predictive ability of the model. The results obtained demonstrated that UV-visible spectrometry and PLS regression were successfully applied to simultaneously quantify the three phenolic compounds in synthetic ternary mixtures. Moreover, the concentrations of CA, GA and Q in herb infusion extracts were easily predicted and found to be 3.918-18.055, 9.014-23.825, and 9.040-13.350 mg/g of dry sample, respectively.

This study was executed to analyze the vegetational landscape structure and administration planning of Heonin Royal Tomb forest by three kinds of ordination techniques (PCA, RA and DCA) and comparison of the couple photographs between 1920s and 1980s. Seventeen sites in the recreation area and fifteen sites in the protective area were sampled with clumped sampling method in June 1988 and five quadrats were examined in each site. Environmental impact grade 3, 4 and 5 area covered 56.4% of the surveyed area and these area should be restored by the input of human energy. Pinus densifora community of actual vegetation covered 8.4%, Alnus japonica 24.2% and Quercus community 40.9% of the total area. And the afforested vegetation of Pinus koraiensis and Pinus rigida covered 23.1 % The recreation area was divided by P. densiflora, P. densiflora-Quercus aliena, A. japonica-Q.aliena, A. japonica and the protective area by Q. acutissima, Q. aliena, A. japonica-Q. aliena.. DCA ordination showed that successional trends of tree species seem to be from P. densiflora, Sorbus alnifolia, Styrax obassia to Q. variabilis Q. serrata in P. densiflora community and from A. japonica through A. ginnala to Q. aliena in A. japonica community of the upper layer. By the comparison of the couple photographs between 1920s and 1980s, we can recognize the change of historical landscape composed of P. densiflora community and those community is succeeded to Q. aliena.
New optical transmission link techniques improving performance of WDM channels, each channel have bit rate of 40 Gbps, are proposed. The proposed optical link configuration consist of optical phase conjugator (OPC) placed at middle of total transmission length, and dispersion management (DM) as a role of compensating dispersion cumulated in transmission line. It is confirmed that Q-factor of total channels are improved by combining OPC and DM in optical transmission link as a result of following fact; DM not only mitigate the cumulated dispersion in total transmission line but also help OPC to compensate optical nonlinearities. And, it is confirmed that the improvement of Q-factor of overall WDM channels depends on net residual dispersion (NRD) of optical link.
