We consider the weighted shortest path updating problem, that is, the problem to reconstruct the weighted shortest paths in response to topology change of the network. This appear proposes a distributed algorithms that reconstructs the weighted shortest paths after several processors and links are added and deleted. its message complexity and ideal-time complexity are O(p$^2$+q+n') and O(p$^2$+q+n') respectively, where n' is the number of processors in the network after the topology change, q is the number of added links, and p is the total number of processors in he biconnected components (of the network before the topology change) including the deleted links or added links.

In this paper we prove that for all irreducible complex characters of a finite group, there exist F-representations and a finite degree field extension F ⊇ Q, where Q is the rational number field.

A celebrated result in the study of integer partitions is the identity due to Lehmer whereby the number of partitions of n with an even number of even parts minus the number of partitions of n with an odd number of even parts equals the number of partitions of n into distinct odd parts. Inspired by Lehmer's identity, we prove explicit formulas for evaluating generating functions for sequences that enumerate integer partitions of fixed width with an even/odd number of even parts. We introduce a technique for decomposing the even entries of a partition in such a way so as to evaluate, using a finite sum over q-binomial coefficients, the generating function for the sequence of partitions with an even number of even parts of fixed, odd width, and similarly for the other families of fixed-width partitions that we introduce.

EPCglobal Class-1 Gen-2 protocol has been proposed for UHF-band RFID systems. In Gen-2 standard, Q-algorithm was proposed to select a frame size for the next query round without estimating the number of tags. Therefore, the Q-algorithm has advantage that the reader's algorithm is simpler than other algorithms. However, it is impossible to allocate the optimized frame size. Also, the original Q-algorithm did not define an optimized parameter C for adjusting the frame size. In this paper, we propose an adaptive Q-algorithm with the different parameter $C_c$ and $C_i$ in accordance with the status of reply slot. Simulation results show that the proposed adaptive Q-algorithm outperforms the original Gen-2 Q-algorithm.

The forest vegetation types and their structural characteristics in Mt. $Mud\v{u}ng$ were investigated by classification method and ordination method. The forest was classified into 7 communities by ristic composition table: Quercus monogolica community, Q. serrata community, Q.acutissima community, Q.variabilis community, Q.dentata community, Pinus densiflora community and Frainus mandshurica community. Considering the moisture gradient, two kinds of distributuin pattern were shown as follows; F. mandshurica, Q. acturissima, Platycarya strobilacea and Staphylea bumalda were distribute at moist habitats, while Q. monogolica, P. densiflora and Q.variabilis at dry habitats. In continuum analysis, each population occupied different distribution area but it was continuously overlapped. On the successional trends of tree species, it is postulated that Q. mongolica species might dominate the altitudinal zone over 700m.

In this paper, We represent a low complexity of parallel canonical basis multiplier for GF( q$^{n}$ ), ( q＞ 2). The Mastrovito multiplier is investigated and applied to multiplication in GF(q$^{n}$ ), GF(q$^{n}$ ) is different with GF(2$^{n}$ ), when MVL is applied to finite field. If q is larger than 2, inverse should be considered. Optimized irreducible polynomial can reduce number of operation. In this paper we describe a method for choosing optimized irreducible polynomial and modularizing recursive polynomial operation. A optimized irreducible polynomial is provided which perform modulo reduction with low complexity. As a result, multiplier for fields GF(q$^{n}$ ) with low gate counts. and low delays are constructed. The architectures are highly modular and thus well suited for VLSI implementation.

In this paper, we study the generalizations of Euler numbers and polynomials by using the q-extension with p-adic integral on $\mathbb{Z}_p$. We call these: the generalized q-${\omega}$-Euler numbers $E^{({\alpha})}_{n,q,{{\omega}}(a)$ and polynomials $E^{({\alpha})}_{n,q,{\omega}}(x;a)$. We investigate some elementary properties and relations for $E^{({\alpha})}_{n,q,{{\omega}}(a)$ and $E^{({\alpha})}_{n,q,{\omega}}(x;a)$.

Efficient computation of r-th root in 𝔽_q has many applications in computational number theory and many other related areas. We present a new r-th root formula which generalizes Müller's result on square root, and which provides a possible improvement of the Cipolla-Lehmer type algorithms for general case. More precisely, for given r-th power c ∈ 𝔽_q, we show that there exists α ∈ 𝔽_q^r such that $$Tr{\left(\begin{array}{cccc}{{\alpha}^{{\frac{({\sum}_{i=0}^{r-1}\;q^i)-r}{r^2}}}\atop{\text{ }}}\end{array}\right)}^r=c,$$ where $Tr({\alpha})={\alpha}+{\alpha}^q+{\alpha}^{q^2}+{\cdots}+{\alpha}^{q^{r-1}}$ and α is a root of certain irreducible polynomial of degree r over 𝔽_q.

Recently, development in vehicle safety could increase interest in children's safety in vehicle collisions. But the research of children safety in vehicle collisions is not being conducted as many as that of adult's. Especially the study for the vehicle crash was not much. This study focused on the comparison of child safety between test protocols to evaluate children's safety in crash test. Injuries of Q6 and Q10 dummy were evaluated using FFRB (Full frontal rigid barrier) test and 40% ODB (Offset deformable barrier) test with one model vehicle. Even though the limit number of test, the tendency of injury criteria of Q6 and Q10 dummy between the test protocols was not conformed but injury criteria of Q6 and Q10 were not same between FFRB and 40% ODB.

강우의 지속시간을 처리하는 방법에 따라 AMC조건과 강우의 시간분포인(1차, 2차, 3차, 4차 모멘트)가 유출에 미치는 연관성을 연구하였다. 연구결과 강우를 10분위로 고려하는 경우, CN은 AMCIII조건에서 1차 및 2차 모멘트와 상관성을 보였으나 그 외의 조건에서는 상관성이 없었다. 또한 첨두유출비(QP/Q)는 AMC I조건에서 3차 및 4차 모멘트와 상관성을 보였으며, AMCIII조건에서는 1차 및 2차 모멘트와 상관성을 보였다. 강우의 전체 지속시간을 고려하는 경우, CN은 AMC I조건에서 모든 시간분포인자와 상관성을 보였으나 AMCIII조건에서는 1차 및 2차 시간분포인자와 상관성을 보였다. 그리고 첨두유출비(QP/Q)는 AMC I조건에서 3차 및 4차 시간분포인자와 상관성을 보였으나 그 외의 조건에서는 거의 상관성을 보이지 않았다. 따라서 보다 정확한 CN 산정을 위해 강우의 시간분포와 제시된 시간분포인자를 고려할 것을 제안하였다.
