The Prime objectives of this study are to identify and analyze possible solutions and select a solution for the specification and operation plan of the meteorological purpose aircraft in Korea. Infrastructure like meteorological purpose aircraft and aircraft operating systems should be set up and their efficient plan must be established to improve meteorological technic in Korea. As a result of the study, we have found that the turboprop engine powered aircraft is the most suitable to initial model for the meteorological purpose aircraft. It was found that the indirect operation method might be the best solution, also. The results of this study may be useful to make decision for selecting specification and operation of the meteorological purpose aircraft.

The purpose of this survey was to study nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude, residences and purpose value of meal in the college freshmen. The survey was conducted from May 1 to May 25 in 1997. The results are summarized as follows. The female students showed higher scores than male students in nutrition knowledge score, but there was no difference in dietary attitude. Dietary attitude of the students living in home were higher than that of the other students. Female students tended to choose food for the pleasure of its taste. On female students, no difference was founded on nutrition knowledge and dietary attitude with purpose value of meal. The male students who have purpose value of meal on intake of nutrients showed the highest score in nutrition knowledge.

With recent trends, multi-purpose building is becoming an important thing to have significant effect on the space of multi-purpose apartment (public living place) with the interest in health and sports and social trend of "well-being." The purpose of this study is to provide the meaning of spatial function and role multi-purpose building by finding the spatial composition and constitutional characteristics and analyzing the spatial design of those apartments. Method of the study is to summary the spatial composition and constitutional characteristics by materials of building approval and pamphlets in model houses as there is no case of multi-purpose apartment completed in Ulsan. Among many factors of inner space, approachability, openness and amenity are selected by pre-research and it is analyzed to confirm if these factors are applied and planned appropriately. Based on analyzed materials, the study identifies the spatial composition and constitutional characteristics of the space of multi-purpose building that is planning to be constructed in Ulsan and suggests the problem and improvements. The space of multi-purpose apartment should be purposed to accommodate daily activities and has the meaning of existence when it is provided appropriately. In addition, the space should be designed to provide various functions and purposes for cultural enhancement of citizen in the apartment.

Since the education law was changed in 1997, schools for K-12 education are required to build a multi-purpose auditorium which accommodates auditorium and a gymnasium functions. Evaluation of the present status of multi-purpose auditoriums will provide a clear direction for improvements in planning and design stages. The purpose of this research identifies the current status and major drawbacks of the multi-purpose auditorium through applying a performance evaluation tool kit called the Advanced Building Quality Evaluation Techniques(ABQET) and Graphic Analysis of Quality Quotient (GAQQ). In addition, the research will provide future foundations for planning and design methods for a multi-purpose auditorium.

본 연구의 목적은 교원양성 대학 학부생 대상 문제해결 프로그래밍 교육에서 학습자의 컴퓨팅 사고력을 측정할 수 있는 범용의 검사 도구를 개발하고 타당화 하여 일반화 가능성을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 컴퓨팅 사고력의 평가 영역과 세부 요소를 재정의 하고 이를 평가할 수 있는 자기평가식 범용 컴퓨팅 사고력 검사지를 개발하고, 교원 양성대학의 학생을 대상으로 평가 도구를 적용하여 신뢰도 및 타당도를 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서 개발한 자기평가식 범용 컴퓨팅 사고력 검사지의 타당성을 검증하고 일반화 가능성을 확인하였다.

Currently, the legal framework for installation of safety facilities has not been implemented for new multi-purpose business excluding 23 multi-purpose business types, and therefore, there is a high likelihood of large number of casualties in case of fire accident. At present, the new multi-purpose business can start its operation only with administrative actions of the licensing agencies and registration to the tax agency, and it is difficult that the fire department, which is a competent safety management department, makes intervention them in the same way as before. In addition, as the licensing agency has no authority to restrict the business due to insufficient implementation of safety facilities, a lot of civil complaints occur, which causes difficulties in changing concerned laws and regulations rapidly. In this study, it is considered to analyze the legal system, status of safety management of multi-purpose business, type of new multi-use facility and characteristics of fire risk. Based on such analysis results, this study will suggest the improvement plan to solve the blind zones in the safety management, which enables the multi-purpose business to be operated within the legal framework.

This study aims to examine the market segmentation of rural healing tourists. A two-stage cluster method was used to segment the market of rural healing tourists, and the difference in satisfaction by segmented market was identified. In this study, a total of 433 cases were used for analysis. A total of four clusters of rural healing tourists were derived based on the purpose of visit and involvement with rural healing tourism. The names of each cluster were determined as 'high involvement, daily escape purpose type', 'high involvement, stress relief purpose type', 'low involvement, daily escape purpose type', and 'high involvement, exotic experience purpose type.' Each groups were found to have significant differences according to educational level, purpose of visit, companion, and expenditure. The satisfaction and the behavioral intention of rural healing tourists was highest in the group of 'high involvement, stress relief purpose type.' The results of this study suggest that the characteristics and satisfaction of rural healing tourists were differ according to the segmented group. This study suggests useful information for target marketing strategies for each segmented market according to the characteristics of rural healing tourists.

The characteristics of agricultural water rights in multi-purpose dams in Korea was examined. The river system with multi-purpose dams can be divided into national river system and WRC(Water Resources Corporation) river system according to ownership of dam use rights. While the national river system have permitted water rights, the WRC river system have vest water rights and contract water rights. The two river systems have different characteristics of agricultural water rights, and therefore the water right of two system need to be unified. It is also known that water release from multi-purpose dams against water demand does not satisfy agricultural water rights.

Multi-purpose freight car is applicable for both bulk freight and containerized freight to cope with the unbalance between demand and supply due to the demand variation by seasons or directions. In this paper, we suggested the advantages of introducing attachable container to railway freight transportation and possible freight items to use multi-purpose freight car. This results can be used to analyse the amount of attachable container and the feasibility of introducing multi-purpose freight car to railway.

In this paper, the difference between call processing routing of general purpose ESS and that of special purpose ESS, such a TDX-ACD, was specified by analyzing the call processing capacity of special purpose ESS. Then the load sharing method was proposed in orde to reduce the overload condition in specific processors. Finally, measirement value was illustrated nad compared with simulation value.
