집중유도형 교류전위차법에 의한 강자성체 및 상자성체의 2차원 표면결함의 비파괴평가 (Nondestructive Evaluation of 2-Dimensional Surface Crack in Ferromagnetic Metal and Paramagnetic Metal by ICFPD Technique)

  • Aiming at nondestructive evaluation of defect with high accuracy and resolution, ICFPD(Induced Current Focusing Potential Drop) technique was newly developed. This technique can be applied for locating and sizing of defects in components with not only simple shape such as plain surface but also more complex shape and geometry such as curved surface and dissimilar joing. This paper describes the principle of ICFPD technique and also the results of 2-dimensional surface crack in ferromagnetic metal(A508 Cl. III steel) and paramagnetic metal (pure aluminum and stainless 304 steel) measured by this technique. Results are that surface defects in each specimen are detected with the difference of potential drop, and potential drops are distributed a similar shape for each metal and each depth. The normalized potential drop ( $V_{\delta}$2/$^{t}$ / $V_{{\delta} 2}$$^{-1}$) max. in the vicinity of defect is varied with the depth of defect. Therefore, ICFPD technique can be used for the evaluation of defect not only in ferromagnetic metal but also in paramagnetic steel..

Characterization of the PAC Modified Cationic Rosin Size and its Sizing Effect

  • Cationic rosin sizes are prepared by premixing extremely pure ployaluminum chloride (PAC) and dispersed rosin size (DRS). It turned out that zeta potential and particle size of the sizing agents took a big change by Plus90 analyzer's and FTIR analyzer's analysis. It turned out that -C=O and -COOH of the DRS have both chemical reaction with PAC to form the muti-hydroxyl aluminum rosin acid and that the cationic rosin sizes modified by PAC has dissymmetric and symmetric flexible vibration two absorbing peaks of the groups (its absorbing peaks $at1596cm^{-1}\;and\;1425cm^{-1}$). By DRS reacting with PAC, zeta potential of the resin size varied from negative to cationic. $Al_{2}O_{3}/rosin=1:0.3$, zeta potential of premixed admixture is tiptop28.8mv, When joined continuously PAC, zeta potential of cationic rosin sizes descend on the contrary.

  • The inverse scattering problem is investigated for some second order differential equation with a nonlinear spectral parameter in the boundary condition on the half line [0, $\infty$). In the present paper the coefficient of spectral parameter is not a pure imaginary number and the boundary value problem is not selfadjoint. We define the scattering data of the problem, derive the main integral equation and show that the potential is uniquely recovered.

  • Yttrium has been investigated as hydrogen trapping site in pure iron and HSLA steel welds. Assessment of hydrogen trapping parameters for yttrium oxide has also shown the high potential of yttrium addition to improve hydrogen management in high strength steel welding. The purpose of this study was to reduce and control the diffusible hydrogen content in the weld deposit.

SASAKIAN 3-MANIFOLDS ADMITTING A GRADIENT RICCI-YAMABE SOLITON

  • The object of the present paper is to characterize Sasakian 3-manifolds admitting a gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton. It is shown that a Sasakian 3-manifold M with constant scalar curvature admitting a proper gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton is Einstein and locally isometric to a unit sphere. Also, the potential vector field is an infinitesimal automorphism of the contact metric structure. In addition, if M is complete, then it is compact.

SASAKIAN 3-METRIC AS A *-CONFORMAL RICCI SOLITON REPRESENTS A BERGER SPHERE

  • In this article, the notion of *-conformal Ricci soliton is defined as a self similar solution of the *-conformal Ricci flow. A Sasakian 3-metric satisfying the *-conformal Ricci soliton is completely classified under certain conditions on the soliton vector field. We establish a relation with Fano manifolds and proves a homothety between the Sasakian 3-metric and the Berger Sphere. Also, the potential vector field V is a harmonic infinitesimal automorphism of the contact metric structure.

  • The aim of this paper is to characterize K-contact and Sasakian manifolds whose metrics are generalized quasi-Einstein metric. It is proven that if the metric of a K-contact manifold is generalized quasi-Einstein metric, then the manifold is of constant scalar curvature and in the case of a Sasakian manifold the metric becomes Einstein under certain restriction on the potential function. Several corollaries have been provided. Finally, we consider Sasakian 3-manifold whose metric is generalized quasi-Einstein metric.

Some Triviality Characterizations on Gradient Almost Yamabe Solitons

  • An almost Yamabe soliton is a generalization of the Yamabe soliton. In this article, we deduce some results regarding almost gradient Yamabe solitons. More specifically, we show that a compact almost gradient Yamabe soliton having non-negative Ricci curvature is trivial. Again, we prove that an almost gradient Yamabe soliton with a non-negative potential function and scalar curvature bound admitting an integral condition is trivial. Moreover, we give a characterization of a compact almost gradient Yamabe solitons.

참기름의 옥배유 혼합에 따른 이화학적 특성 및 산화안정성 비교 (Comparison of Physicochemical Properties and Oxidative Stability of Sesame Oil Mixed with Corn Oil)

  • 참기름의 이종기름 함유 유무를 판단하기 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 국내산 참기름에 옥배유를 혼합한 시료와 중국산 참기름에 대하여 지방산, sesamolin 및 sesamin 함량 , AOM에 의한 유도기간을 각각 조사하였다. 국내산 참기름에 옥배유를 혼합할 경우, stearic acid는 옥배유를 20% 이상 혼입한 참기름에서 국내산 참기름과 뚜렷한 차이를 나타내었다. 그리고 Oleic acid와 Linoleic acid에서는 10%의 혼입시에도 미양하나마 함량의 차이를 보였다. 참기름에 옥배유를 혼합할 경우 stearic/linoleic 비율은 옥배유의 혼입된 함량과 비례하였다. 국내산 참기름에 이종기름으로 옥배유를 30% 혼합시에는 sesamolin이 18.3%, sesamin이 21.1% 감소하였다. AOM에 의한 유도 기간은 중국산, 옥배유 20% 혼입 참기름 , 40% 혼입 참기름에서 8.14~9.24 시간 범위였고, 국내산 참기름은 약 16시간으로 뚜렷한 차이를 보였다. 이상의 결과에서 볼 때 이종기름의 혼입 여부를 판단하기 위한 방법으로써는 참깨유의 stearic/linoleic 비율, sesamolin 과 sesamin의 함량 및 AOM에 의한 유도기간 측정 등이 적용 가능하리라 생각된다.

Use of Plant Leaf in Biosensing for Some Odour Compounds

  • The sensing of odour compounds in gas phase is an attractive target in recent sensor technology. Based on the finding that a plant leaf can respond to various gas molecules by changing its potential, biosensing system using a plant leaf has been investigated for the detection of odour compounds. A leaf of some plant species responded to odour compounds directly by changing its potential $5{\sim}10\;mV$. That the leaf was actually sensing an odour was much more remarkably detected from the difference between the response profile to pure $CO_2$ gas and that to $CO_2$ gas containing odour compounds. Then the quantitative study (ppb level) is now being performed on the response of a tobacco leaf to benzyl acetate; a component of jasminelike odours. The concept of biosensing and its significance are also described from the viewpoint of sensor technology.
