Differential equations and its numerical solution program using Turbo-C were formulated to describe the radical distribution and average displacement amplitude of vibrating dehydrated contact lens(HEMA) driven by sinusoidal or rectangular pressure. The natural resonant frequency of the lens diaphram(thickness 0.08mm, diameter 14mm, curvature radius 8mm) was measured to be 5730 Hz from the extrapolation of frequency vs addedmass to the diaphram curve. The Young's modulus of the lens was measured to be $4{\times}10^9$ Pa with altering the original shape. The effect of parameters such as thickness, effective radius, damping coeff., amplitude of driving pressure on the vibration characteristics was illustrated by the computer simulation of the derived program. When the frequency of driving pressure coincides with the integral multiple of fundamental resonance frequency of the lens the wave pattern changes from arc to bell-shape along the radial position of the diaphram. If this happens to the contact lens on the cornea in vivo, it might create the feel of pull of the lens due to the increased rise of central part of the lens.
This paper describes implementation of a 13.56 MHz, 5 kW RF high power generator for ISM band applications. This RF generator consists of four LDMOS modules of 1.25kW class-AB push-pull power amplifier with drive amplifier and its outputs are combined by using Wilkinson type transmission-line transformers. Its generator has a high efficiency and output power better than linearity. In order to discharge power transistor heats, we used on water cooled copper plate. Also, these have a composite circuit of combiner and low-pass filter and safety circuit to detector over and reflected power. The RF generator has achieved a efficiency of 79 % at 5.33 kW of saturated power level experimentally.
Lattice girder is a new steel support developed in Europe for the replacement of an existing H-shaped steel set, which is installed after tunnel excavation. Lattice girder has the following several advantages : 1. Lattice girder minimizes the amount of shotcrete shadow which happens to occur behind a steel support. 2. A triangular shape of lattice girder makes shotcrete placed efficiently. 3. Lattice girder provides a good bond strength for shotcrete, which makes the composite structure of lattice girder and shotcrete behave monolithic, and therefore, the rock load can be supported effectively by the lattice girder system, This paper presents the results from a model wall test, a strength test for shotcrete shot on the model wall and a strength test for the bond between lattice girder and shotcrete. These tests proved that lattice-girder system is superior to H-shaped steel-set system concerning the shotcrete rebound rate, the developed shotcrete strength and the adhesion characteristics.

This paper deals with several methods: the clustering method that uses k-means algorithm to abstract the
area of characters on the image document and the distance function that suits for the HIS coordinate system
to cluster the image. For the prepossessing step to recognize this, or the method of characters segmentate, the
algorithm to abstract a discrete character is also proposed, using the linking picture element. This algorithm
provides the feature that separates any character such as the touching or overlapped character. The methods
of projecting and tracking the edge have so far been used to segment them. However, with the new method
proposed here, the picture element extracts a discrete character with only one-time projection after abstracting
the character string. it is possible to pull out it. dividing the area into the character and the rest (non-character).
This has great significance in terms of processing color documents, not the simple binary image, and already
received verification that it is more advanced than the previous document processing system.

In this paper, we proposed the standard test specification for safety and function of hiking stick for the elderly. We have concluded nine factors representing specification of hiking stick through analysis of hiking patents and research papers, products survey of business market, case studies for damaged hiking stick and expert surveys. To test the factors, we designed three different kinds of apparatus to examine twist resistance, stick and tip durability and stick straightness. The sample of hiking sticks purchased from market based on Naver sales ranking top to fifteenth. As a result, we concluded six-standard test specification based on eccentric load, adjustable parts load, hand strap load, basket load, tip load and pull load of hiking stick.

Objectives : This study aims to evaluate domestic/foreign clinical studies related to the traction therapy and analyse points to consider about cervical/lumbar traction therapy. Methods : Seven databases were searched for related articles about cervical/lumbar traction therapy from 1950 to 2014. Fourteen clinical studies and several systemic reviews were included among 144 studies searched. Out of fourteen clinical studies, four were case series and ten were controlled trials. Results : Most of included studies reported favorable effects of traction group compared to baseline of controlled group. The various mechanical factors most relevant to traction are 1) angle of pull and direction, 2) traction force, 3) duration of traction and frequency of treatment. Conclusions : We found various mistake in the applications of statistical methodologies of traction therapy targeting patients of cervical, lumbar vertebral disease. It is necessary for more randomized controlled trials to evaluate effect of cervical/lumbar traction therapy targeting patients of cervical, lumbar vertebral disease.

While the cruciate ligament has a profuse vascular response following injury, spontaneous repair does not occur. This may result from the fact that synovial fluid dilution of the hematoma following injury prevents the formation of a fibrin clot and thus the initiation of the healing mechanism. Another theory suggests that the dynamic nature of the fascicles of the anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) through even small ranges of motion prohibits spontaneous union to these fibers. But we experienced two cases of spontaneous healing of partially injured ACL. Initially they showed more than grade II anterior instability. 6 mm difference by stress roentgenographs(pull view) and difference of 8 mm by KT 1000TM arthrometer between the ACL injured knee and normal side knee. Lax, nearly complete tear of ACL and synovial bleeding were noted during arthroscopic examination but the continuity of synovial membrane was seemed to be intact. These cases were treated by conservative management rather than reconstructive procedure. Postoperatively they showed excellent clinical results, no anterior instability and unlimited athletic activity. Based on our clinical experience. we think that cruciate ligament has the spontaneous healing potential in acute stage and middle aged patient. We consider the microfracture technique and initial immobilization for accelleration of healing response of the ACL.

In this paper, we have discussed the search function that can be embedded and used on Android-based applications. We used BM25 to suppress insignificant and too frequent words such as postpositions, Pivoted Length Normalization technique used to resolve the search priority problem related to each item's length, and Rocchio's method to pull items inferred to be related to the query closer to the query vector on Vector Space Model to support implicit feedback function. The index operation is divided into two methods; simple index to support offline operation and complex index for online operation. The implementation uses query inference function to guess user's future input by collating given present input with indexed data and with it the function is able to handle and correct user's error. Thus the implementation could be easily adopted into smartphone applications to improve their search functions.
New electron deficient moiety, 6,7-difluoro-2,3-dihexylquinoxaline, was developed for the push-pull type copolymer for organic photovoltaics (OPVs). The PFDTQxF with lower HOMO energy level was synthesized using fluorene and 6,7-difluoro- 2,3-dihexylquinoxaline by Suzuki polymerization. The PFDTQxF thin film shows two absorption peaks at 368 and 493 nm. The HOMO and LUMO energy levels of PFDTQxF are calculated -5.55 and -3.91 eV, respectively. The device comprising PFDTQxF showed a $V_{OC}$ value of 0.47 V, a $J_{SC}$ value of $4.48mA/cm^2$, and a FF of 0.32, which yielded PCE of 0.78%, under the illumination of AM 1.5.
Concrete, as a construction material, needs suitable reinforcement for tensile region due to weak tensile strength. Many researches on cement reduction have been attempted for $CO_2$ emissions during cement clinker production. In this paper engineering properties of concrete enhanced with polypropylene fiber (PPF) and rice husk ash (RHA) are evaluated. Fiber volume ratios of 0.125~0.375 and RHA replacement ratio of 0~20% are considered for concrete mixture. Lots of test including compressive, split, flexural and the related crack width, impact energy, and pull out test are performed and the results are evaluated considering the fiber ratios, fiber length and RHA replacement. Fiber and RHA ratios have dominant effects on tensile and compressive characteristics respectively, and the concrete with 0.125% of PPF and 10% of RHA shows the most effective enhancement for engineering properties. Appropriate addition of RHA and PPF are very effective both for engineering property enhancement and clean technology.
