학교와 지역사회 협력의 관점과 유형 분석 (Analysis on Perspectives and Types of Schools-Communities Cooperation)

  • 학교와 지역사회의 협력은 교육의 본질과 교육의 사회적 의미에 따라 학교교육과 평생교육 관점 그리고 시장성과 공공성의 관점으로 구분할 수 있다. 학교교육 관점에서는 학생의 성장과 발달을 위해 지역 자원을 활용하려한다. 평생교육 관점에서는 주민의 학습활동을 지원하기 위해 학교와의 협력을 바라본다. 시장성의 관점은 개인의 선택과 기회의 다양성을 추구하는 반면 공공성의 관점은 시민의 학습권을 보장하고 학습기회를 균등하게 배분하는 것에 중점을 둔다. 학교와 지역사회의 협력의 내용과 범위는 다양하지만 추진 주체에 따라 민간주도형, 교육자치 주도형, 일반자치 주도형으로 구분할 수 있다. 최근에는 지자체와 교육청, 학교와 마을이 마을교육공동체라는 공통의 비전을 실현하기 위해 협력하는 단계로 발전되고 있다. 시장성의 논리보다는 공공성이 강조되고 교육청이나 자치구와 같은 공적 영역의 역할이 강조되고 있다. 이에 따라 학교와 지역사회의 협력은 마을교육공동체 실현을 위한 공공성과 시장성의 조화, 교육자치와 일반자치의 협력을 위한 거버넌스 체제 구축이 더욱 중요한 과제로 부각되고 있다.

스마트러닝의 공교육 정착을 위한 성공전략 연구 (A Study on the Development Strategy of Smart Learning for Public Education)

  • 최근 정보통신기술의 발전으로 스마트한 기술들이 확산되면서 이전과 다른 방법으로 소통하고 콘텐츠를 활용할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 변화는 보다 다양한 학습방법을 가능하게 함으로써 교육산업에 큰 변화를 가져오고 있다. 한국은 e-러닝에 이어 스마트러닝 선도국으로 도약하기 위해 2011년 스마트교육 추진 정책 수립을 시작으로 공교육에 스마트러닝 도입을 적극 추진해왔다. 그러나 아직까지 스마트러닝의 추진 성과는 미미한 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 현 시점에서 공교육의 스마트러닝 추진 문제점을 파악하고 개선안을 마련할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 스마트러닝이 공교육에 정착하기 위한 성공전략을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 공교육과 스마트러닝 환경을 종합적으로 검토하고, SWOT 분석과 AHP 기법을 통해 전략 요인과 우선순위를 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 국내 공교육 환경에 스마트러닝을 성공적으로 정착시키기 위해서는 약점을 보완하여 위협을 극복하는 WT전략에 초점을 맞춰야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 세부 요인으로는 미흡한 스마트러닝 관련 교사 연수 제도(W2), 제도차원 교육환경기반 및 추진역량(S4), 스마트러닝 추진에 대한 제한적 정부지원(T4) 순으로 나타났다. 특히 정부의 제도적 기반이 우선적으로 검토되어야 한다는 시사점이 도출되었다. 이 연구는 향후 스마트러닝 추진을 위한 정책과 지원제도 수립 과정에 전략적 가이드라인을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 디지털화가 가속되면서 학교나 도서관 등 공공기관에서 디지털 정보의 이용이 증가하고 있으며 프린트 서비스의 요구도 점점 증가하고 있다. 많은 서비스 가운데 공공 PC에서 프린트 서비스를 이용할 시 사용료를 지불하도록 해야 하는데 관리자에게는 꽤나 까다로운 업무이다. 이러한 까다로운 업무를 자동화할 수 있도록 하는 프린트 관리 시스템이 개발되어 현재 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 현재 공공기관의 공공PC에서 사용되고 있는 프린터 관리 시스템의 취약성을 분석하였는데 공공 PC 관리자 및 프린터 관리 솔루션 개발자들의 보안의식과 보안개발에 대한 인식은 아직 많은 부분이 부족한 것으로 보인다.

  • This paper aims to examine how the public perception of mathematics changed in England in the 19th century. As rapid industrial and social developments took place in the 19th century, the educational environment underwent great changes, and the value and public perception of mathematics also changed. Mathematics took a new position in the terrain of educational reform in the late 19th century. In this study, I analyzed the actual condition of mathematics education in elementary and secondary schools, popular educational institutions, and universities in England in the first half, middle, and second half of the 19th century, and compared what values and usefulness of mathematics education were justified in each institution. I also examined how satirical magazine Punch satirized the public understanding or view on mathematics at each period. It is to be hoped that this study will have significant implications for raising the public's positive perception of mathematics in modern society.

  • Banda Aceh is one of the areas that sustains the most damage during a natural disaster because it contains so many houses, office buildings, public facilities, and schools. Public structures in coastal areas are highly susceptible to earthquakes, resulting in high casualties and property damage. Several public structures were reconstructed during the reconstruction and rehabilitation period. Because this building is located in an area with a high risk of earthquakes, its capacity must be analyzed initially. Additionally, history indicates that Aceh Province has been struck by numerous earthquakes, including the largest ever recorded in 1983 and the most recent earthquake with a magnitude of 9.3 SR on December 26, 2004. The city of Banda Aceh was devastated by this earthquake, which was followed by a tsunami. The possibility of a large earthquake in Banda Aceh City necessitates that the structures constructed there be resistant to seismic risk. This study's objective was to evaluate the seismic performance of the existing building by applying the method of strengthening the structure in the form of jacketing columns and the addition of steel bracing in order to estimate the performance of the structure using multiple ground motions. Therefore, several public buildings must be analyzed to determine the optimal seismic retrofitting technique.

영양사 직무기술서 (2000년) 의 영양사 직무영역별 특성 분석 3 : 학교 (Analysis of the Dietitian's Job description in the school)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the dietitian’s job description(2000) for dietitians working at schools. The survey was carried out for the frequency, criticality and difficulty of each job description with 4 point scales. The number of subject was 125 dietitians, who have been working over 3 years at their position. The results are following ; 1. Duties with high frequency and criticality were menu managements, purchasing, storage and inventory controls, food productions, meal services, managing equipments and facility, waste managements, sanitation managements and self promotions. 2. Duties with middle frequency and high criticality were human resources managements and financial managements. 3. Duties with low frequency and high criticality were nutrition assessment (life cycles, certain diseases, specific condition), medical nutritional theraphy, nutrition education and public health nutrition. 4. For difficulty, duties related food service had lower points than that of nutrition service.

A Comparison Study on Accredited Architectural Education Contents between US and Korea

  • Since 2002, Architecture Schools in Korea was changing long traditional architectural education system from 4 years generalized architectural engineering curriculum to 5 years professional architecture program. Until 2010, 76 architecture schools have changed their program to 5 years course which was focused to design studio education. It was a very rapid change and there was not much time develop their own system which could represent institutional identity, character of students and local environment. Korea joined as a regular member of Canberra Accord in 2010 and it is meaningful to compare Korean architecture program contents to another country education contents. US architecture programs were selected for this comparison study. The goals of this study are to create a comparable understanding the form of contents of Architectural Education in US and Korea and to verify the substantial equivalence of these systems. To achieve above goals, three public institutes of each country were selected and analyzed with general information, history, resources, curriculum and the matrix of Student Performance Criteria for quantitative comparison. For qualitative comparison education context of programs were analyzed with program missions, the way of advising, professional connection and distribution of faculty loads.

경상북도지역 학교지하수 및 정수기통과수의 수질특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Water Quality for Groundwater and Purified Water of Several Schools in Gyeongsangbukdo Province)

  • This study characterized water quality of groundwater and purified water used for drinking water in 30 schools in Gyeongsangbukdo Province. The results of the study showed that 43% of groundwater and 45% of purified water were not suitable for drinking. Among them, microbial contaminations were the most serious problem. In raw groundwater, the exceeding rates of total colony counts was the highest in August (53.6%). Purified water samples showed higher rate of exceeding drinking water standard for total colony counts while showing lower rate of exceeding drinking water standard for total coliforms and fecal coliforms in March and August. Overall, proper managements for microbial contaminations are required for both groundwater and purified water. Furthermore, special attention should toward students not to drink water when groundwater or purified water exceeds the drinking water quality standard.

The First Curriculum of Mathematics in Korea for the New Millennium

  • In the Republic of Korea, mathematics has always been a major blame for huge private expenditures on so-called "private education," which consists of private tutoring and lessons at "private academies of extra curricula." The private spending on out-of-school education often exceeded public expenditures on schools. In 1997, South Korean Ministry of Education reformed curriculum of mathematics along with other subjects to ease the burden of private education. The aim of this curriculum change was to put a boost on individual students' interests, affections and other attributes toward school mathematics. The essential distinctiveness of the new curriculum of mathematics compared with the previous one is as follows: 1. The implementation of so-called "differentiated curriculum" for grades 1-10. 2. 30% reduction of contents in mathematics and the reconciliation of contents. 3. Elective subjects for mathematics for grades 11 and 12. 4. More uses of technology in mathematics teaching. Firstly, we examine the background of the curriculum reform and analyze the new curriculum according to awareness of educational administrators, teaching environments of schools and readiness of mathematics teachers. Then we find out what kinds of problems it has and look for some suggestions for remedies.

열린교육 지향의 초등학교 교육환경 의식비교 - 교사들의 의식분석을 중심으로 - (Comparison of Awareness about Educational Environment in Open Education of Elementary Schools - Concentrated on the Analysis of Teacher's Awareness -)

  • This study aims to estimate the educational environment associated with various learning activities and to compare the differences of each characteristics appeared on the interviews and questions of teachers performing open education. The results were shown to the 5 groups differed from each other by the awareness analysis on their educational environment. According to the analyzed results, firstly, team teaching. applied living factor, unit learning factor, managemental factor, general public factor and assisting managemental factor were influential successively on the degree of satisfaction of teachers to the educational environment in open education of elementary schools. Secondly, to compare the relative differences between the groups, GLM was done. Most factors were significant only in the group of attached school and showed a partial significance in the grade in charge, gender and age.
