This study examines psycho-physiological effects of visual perception in super-high rise apartment exterior space. Theoretical research was used to explain the psycho-physiological effect of visual perception and case study was carried out to evaluate the physiological response of the subjects. For the physiological evaluation, six slides were chosen and the EEG was used. According to the results of the case study, the central nerve was activated by the slides with pleasant scenic views. In shows that the scenery composed of natural scenic elements effects psychological condition positively. Scenic views with natural scenery have a direct correlation with positive attitude. In conclusion, the results of this study show that the exterior space should contain natural scenic view to help users decrease their visual stress.

This paper is aimed at comparing the attitudes of parents and the psycho-sociogenic aspects of the children of Korean and Japan. The data for the analysis were derived from questionnaires administered to the 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade children in Korean and Japan. The questionnaires were designed to survey children's perception of their parents'child-rearing and the psycho-sociogenic aspects of the children's personality in Korea and Japan. The child-parent relationships identified by the children were measured by the items indicating the degree and the extent to which they felt their parents' dissatisfaction, complaints, strictness, expectation, interference, worry, indulgence, blind obedience, contradiction and disagreement. The psycho-sociogenic aspects of the children's personalities were measured by the items indicating the degree and extent of how they felt about their own sociablility, independence, aggressiveness, extent of how they felt about their own sociability, independencem aggressiveness, participation in groups. Spontaneity, self-control and public spirit.

The sharp and highly fluctuating characteristics of the building services noises cause much psychological discomfort to dwellers. To evaluate the noises effectively. it is necessary to develope an evaluation procedure which can well reflect the psychological influences of the noises. In this study, to develope the effective evaluation procedure for the building services noise. Korean vocabularies which can express the feelings for them was investigated. And then, through a series of psycho-acoustical experiments for various housing equipment noises. we analyzed psychological factors that influence to subjective feelings of persons.

Recently the impact sound insulation performance is regarded as one of the most important factor in determining the quality of apartment house. So many studies were carried out to improve these performance and to propose an appropriate evaluation method and standard of floor impact sound insulation for apartment house by psycho-acoustic method in the laboratory. This study was carried out the field psycho-acoustic test to find a correlation between physically measured values and psychological response in apartment house, and the results will be used to establish the appropriate evaluation method and standard of floor impact sound insulation.

Mammography utilization is low in Iran compared with other countries. Here a cross-sectional survey design was used to investigate psycho-social and individual factors associated with mammography among 400 women asymptomatic of breast cancer. The study was carried out at the four outpatient clinics of Tehran during the period from July through October, 2009. We found that mammography screening was related to higher self-efficacy and women's occupation. Future tailored interventions on potential psycho-social determinants and specific demographic factors are critical in increasing mammography screening rates among Iranian women.

Therapeutic duplication (TD) is frequently reported inappropriate drug use in healthcare settings in Korea. This study was aimed to develop TD criteria for psycho-nervous system drugs (KFDA classification 117 and 119). ATC classification was used to determine therapeutic and/or chemical similarities among the 93 ingredients reviewed. Clinical practice guidelines, textbooks and product labels were referenced for principles and evidences of possible drug combination usage. 16 groups that listed ingredients to be considered as TD were established and the criteria would be helpful to prevent TDs.

The purpose of this study was to identify the differences of characteristics of life and psycho-social factors between elderly women participating in a senior's college(SC) and an exercise prescription(EP) service from social services. Data were collected using in-depth interview and questionnaire from 39 in a SC and 76 EP. SC group were associated with higher level of cognitive function and life satisfaction than EP group. These findings suggest that differentiated programs and multidisciplinary convergence services to improve mental and physical health of elderly women.

The noise inside a naval vessel is very important in considering the need for hearing protection, improving the working environment and maintaining good communications for crews living on board a naval vessel. The indoor noise of a ship usually is specified by the A-weighted sound pressure level, but other evaluating parameters are required to reflect human senses more effectively. This paper uses additional noise indices related to room acoustics, such as NR(noise rating), NC(noise criterion), RC(room criterion), PSIL(preferred speech interference level) and loudness level to evaluate the noise inside cabins on a naval vessel. Using these psychological noise indices, allowable limit of noise level in cabins is suggested through psycho-acoustic evaluation for the noise in cabins.

Psycho-acoustic experiments were carried out to know the inhabitant's response on floor impact noises due to floor structure types. The response values for tapping machine, bang machine and impact ball were 4.4~6.06. And children walking and adult walking were 1.67~2.97. Using 11 scale response tests, children and adult walking was not irritate to dwellers and children running was disturbing.

In this study, the extracted words from the former study such as annoying, loud, noisy, irritating, disagreeable, strident, disturbed, and dissonant are given to subjects in psycho acoustic experiment lab. And then, correlation analysis between the words and floor impact noise rating method were carried out. As a result of this study followings are suggested ‘Annoying’ is the word most accurately expressing the subjects’ unpleasant feeling of domestic floor impact noise. The results of this study could be basic materials for psycho acoustic experiments for criteria on floor impact noise and Sound Classification on Floor Impact Sound Insulation Performance.
