Existing Gamma Knife Radiosurgery(GKRS) for large lesions is often conducted in stages with volume or dose partitions. Often in case of volume division the target used to be divided into sub-volumes which are irradiated under the determined prescription dose in multi-sessions separated by a day or two, 3~6 months. For the entire course of treatment, treatment informations of the previous stages needs to be reflected to subsequent sessions on the newly mounted stereotactic frame through coordinate transformation between sessions. However, it is practically difficult to implement the previous dose distributions with existing Gamma Knife system except in the same stereotactic space. The treatment area is expanding because it is possible to perform the multistage treatment using the latest Gamma Knife Platform(GKP). The purpose of this study is to introduce the image-coregistration based on the stereotactic spaces and the strategy of multistage GKRS such as the determination of prescription dose at each stage using new GKP. Usually in image-coregistration either surgically-embedded fiducials or internal anatomical landmarks are used to determine the transformation relationship. Author compared the accuracy of coordinate transformation between multi-sessions using four or six anatomical landmarks as an example using internal anatomical landmarks. Transformation matrix between two stereotactic spaces was determined using PseudoInverse or Singular Value Decomposition to minimize the discrepancy between measured and calculated coordinates. To evaluate the transformation accuracy, the difference between measured and transformed coordinates, i.e., ${\Delta}r$, was calculated using 10 landmarks. Four or six points among 10 landmarks were used to determine the coordinate transformation, and the rest were used to evaluate the approaching method. Each of the values of ${\Delta}r$ in two approaching methods ranged from 0.6 mm to 2.4 mm, from 0.17 mm to 0.57 mm. In addition, a method of determining the prescription dose to give the same effect as the treatment of the total lesion once in case of lesion splitting was suggested. The strategy of multistage treatment in the same stereotactic space is to design the treatment for the whole lesion first, and the whole treatment design shots are divided into shots of each stage treatment to construct shots of each stage and determine the appropriate prescription dose at each stage. In conclusion, author confirmed the accuracy of prescribing dose determination as a multistage treatment strategy and found that using as many internal landmarks as possible than using small landmarks to determine coordinate transformation between multi-sessions yielded better results. In the future, the proposed multistage treatment strategy will be a great contributor to the frameless fractionated treatment of several Gamma Knife Centers.

Purpose: The objective of this work to construct eigenvalue maps that have information of magnitude of three primary diffusion directions using diffusion tensor images. Materials and Methods: To construct eigenvalue maps, we used a 3.0T MRI scanner. We also compared the Moore-Penrose pseudo-inverse matrix method and the SVD (single value decomposition) method to calculate magnitude of three primary diffusion directions. Eigenvalue maps were constructed by calculating of magnitude of three primary diffusion directions. We did investigate the relationship between eigenvalue maps and fractional anisotropy map. Results: Using Diffusion Tensor Images by diffusion tensor imaging sequence, we did construct eigenvalue maps of three primary diffusion directions. Comparison between eigenvalue maps and Fractional Anisotropy map shows what is difference of Fractional Anisotropy value in brain anatomy. Furthermore, through the simulation of variable eigenvalues, we confirmed changes of Fractional Anisotropy values by variable eigenvalues. And Fractional anisotropy was not determined by magnitude of each primary diffusion direction, but it was determined by combination of each primary diffusion direction. Conclusion: By construction of eigenvalue maps, we can confirm what is the reason of fractional anisotropy variation by measurement the magnitude of three primary diffusion directions on lesion of brain white matter, using eigenvalue maps and fractional anisotropy map.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the ability of target localizations of Leksell GammaPlan(LGP) in Gamma Knife Subthalamotomy(or Pallidotomy, Thalamotomy) of functional diseases. To evaluate the accuracy of LGP's location settings, the difference Δr of the target coordinates calculated by LGP (or LSP) and author's algorithm was reviewed for 10 patients who underwent Deep Brain Stimulation(DBS) surgery. Δr ranged from 0.0244663 mm to 0.107961 mm. The average of Δr was 0.054398 mm. Transformation matrix between stereotactic space and brain atlas space was calculated using PseudoInverse or Singular Value Decomposition of Mathematica to determine the positional relationship between two coordinate systems. Despite the precise frame positioning, the misalignment of yaw from -3.44739 degree to 1.82243 degree, pitch from -4.57212 degree to 0.692063 degree, and rolls from -6.38239 degree to 7.21426 degree appeared. In conclusion, a simple in-house algorithm was used to test the accuracy for location settings of LGP(or LSP) in Gamma Knife platform and the possibility for Gamma Knife Subthalamotomy. The functional diseases can be treated with Gamma Knife Radiosurgery with safety and efficacy. In the future, the proposed algorithm for target localizations' QA will be a great contributor to movement disorders' treatment of several Gamma Knife Centers.
A change of filtrate flux in Taylor vortex flow filtration was investigated experimentally by rotating speed of inner cellulose ester membrane cylinder (average pore size: 1.2 ${\mu}m$), slurry concentration, and particle size. The filtrate flux was a direct proportion relation with TMP, but an inverse relation with resistances. A change of cake resistance with time was examined by rotating speed, slurry concentration, and particle size. Initial resistance increased dramatically as raising slurry concentration, and the pseudo-steady state was maintained at high resistance value. However, times to reach the pseudo-steady state did not depend on slurry concentration. The resistance was larger as smaller particle size, because possibility of pore blocking inside membrane could be higher and shear effect should be lower as smaller particle size. A model equation suggested in this study was composed of particle deposition and removal terms, and could confirm well experimental data using average values of experimental coefficients.

In CRYPTO 2019, Gohr presents that Deep-learning can be used for cryptanalysis. In this paper, we verify whether Deep-learning can identify the structures of S-box. To this end, we conducted two experiments. First, we use DDT and LAT of S-boxes as the learning data, whose structure is one of mainly used S-box structures including Feistel, MISTY, SPN, and multiplicative inverse. Surprisingly, our Deep-learning algorithms can identify not only the structures but also the number of used rounds. The second application verifies the pseudo-randomness of and structures by increasing the nuber of rounds in each structure. Our Deep-learning algorithms outperform the theoretical distinguisher in terms of the number of rounds. In general, the design rationale of ciphers used for high level of confidentiality, such as for military purposes, tends to be concealed in order to interfere cryptanalysis. The methods presented in this paper show that Deep-learning can be utilized as a tool for analyzing such undisclosed design rationale.

Neural network can be trained to approximate an arbitrary nonlinear function of multivariate data like the mini-mill crown values in Automatic Shape Control. The trained weights of neural network can evaluate or generalize the process data outside the training vectors. Sometimes, the blind modeling of the process data is necessary to compare with the scattered analytical model of mini-mill process in isolated electro-mechanical forms. To come up with a viable model, we propose the blind neural-based range-division domain-clustering piecewise-linear modeling scheme. The basic ideas are: 1) dividing the range of target data, 2) clustering the corresponding input space vectors, 3)training the neural network with clustered prototypes to smooth out the convergence and 4) solving the resulting matrix equations with a pseudo-inverse to alleviate the ill-conditioning problem. The simulation results support the effectiveness of the proposed scheme and it opens a new way to the data analysis technique. By the comparison with the statistical regression, it is evident that the proposed scheme obtains better modeling error uniformity and reduces the magnitudes of errors considerably. Approximatly 10-fold better performance results.

This paper presents practical results for the estimation of vibration level inside a powertrain based on the rigid body theory and measurement. The vibration level of inside powertrain has been used for the calculation of excitation force of an engine indirectly. However it was difficult to estimate or measure the vibration level inside of a powertrain when a powertrain works on the driving condition of a vehicle. To do this work, the rigid body theory is employed. At the first, the vibration on the surface of a powertrain is measured and its results are secondly used for the estimation the vibration level inside of powertrain together with rigid body theory. Also did research on how to decrease the error rate when the rigid body theory is applied. This method is successfully applied to the estimation of the vibration level on arbitrary point of powertrain on the driving condition at the road.

In this study, to clearly establish the concept of a geometric modeling I apply for the concept of Pushbroom, limited to two-dimensional radiation Locator to provide a three-dimensional information purposes. Respect to the radiation scanner Pushbroom modeling techniques, geometric modeling method was presented introduced to extract three-dimensional information as long as the rotational component of the Gamma-Ray Linear Pushbroom Stereo System, introduced the two-dimensional and three-dimensional spatial information in the matching relation that can be induced. In addition, the pseudo-inverse matrix by using the conventional least-squares method, GCP(Ground Control Point) to demonstrate compliance by calculating the key parameters. Projection transformation matrix is calculated for obtaining three-dimensional information from two-dimensional information can be used as the primary relationship, and through the application of a radiation image matching technology will make it possible to extract three-dimensional information from two-dimensional X-ray imaging.

The pseudo-spinel type solid solution, $LiAl_{2.5}/Fe_{2.5}O_8$ was prepared by reaction of $LiCO_3, Al_2O_3, Fe_2O_3$ mixture at 1620K, which can be used for cathode material in lithium batteries. Its structure was investigated by Rietveld profile-analysis of XRD in detail. The space group of solid solution is $P4_3$32(a=8.1293$\AA$) and the final residual index of structure refinement was about 5%. Cations $Al^{3+}, Fe^{3+}$ are located at both tetra- and octahedral-coordination and $Li^+$ ions are occupied in the octahedral 4b-, 12d-site of the inverse spinel.

This paper presents the theoretical development and qualitative evaluation of a new concept in the mathematical modeling of dynamic structures. We use both test data and analytical approximations to identify the parameters of an incomplete model. The model has the capability of predicting the response of the points of interest on the structure over the frequency range of interest and can be used to predict the changes in natural frequencies and normal modes due to structural changes. The theory was tested by running simulated tests on a relatively simple structure, identifying the parameters of the incomplete model, and using this model to predict the effects on frequency and mode shapes of several mass and stiffness changes. The conditions of the tests were varied by selecting different numbers of points of measurement, varying the frequency range, and by including assumed measurement error. It is recommended that the theoretical development be continued and that applications to more complex structures be carried out in order to develop a better understanding of the limitations and capabilities of the method. A successful, more definitive sevaluation could lead to immediate practical applications.
