Consider the problem of estimating the reliability of a multicomponent stress-strength system which functions if at least r of the k identical components simultaneously function. All stresses and strengths are assumed to be independent random variables with two parameter Weibull distributions. First, we derive reference priors and probability matching priors which are noninformative priors. We next investigate sufficient conditions for propriety of posteriors under reference priors and probability matching priors. Finally, we provide, using these priors, some numerical results for Bayes estimates of the reliability by applying Gibbs sampling technique.

We consider the problem of estimating the system reliability using noninformative priors when both stress and strength follow generalized gamma distributions with index, scale, and shape parameters. We first derive group-ordering reference priors using the reparametrization. We next provide the sufficient condition for propriety of posterior distributions and provide marginal posterior distributions under those noninformative priors. Finally, we provide and compare estimated values of the system reliability based on the simulated values of parameter of interest in some special cases.

Techniques related to railroad industry have progressed rapidly and the automation of work is prevailing. Since the railroad accidents due to the human error occupy considerable proportion among the railroad accidents, it is necessary to study the propriety of the physical examination system for the railroad workers. In this paper, we perform a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign physical examination systems for railroad workers. Through the comparative analysis, we suggest that test of the sleep-disorder be included in the physical examination.

This paper has described about principle and form of proposed circuit made use of soft switching technology ZVS(Zero-Voltage-Switching) to reduce turn on and off loss at switching. also, the analysis of the proposed circuit has described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics have been evaluated as to switching frequency and parameters. In addition, this paper proves the propriety of theoretical analysis in terms of the experiments.

본 논문에서는 LMS 적응 알고리즘이 수렴하기 위한 스텝크기의 적정 범위를 등화기 계수의 양자화 오차와 초과 MSE를 고려하여 새로 제시하였으며 이의 타당상을 트랜스버설 등화기의 시뮬레이션을 통해 보았다.

Currently, new and renewable energy come into the spotlight, such as solar energy, wind power, fuel cell, hybrid car etc., due to the energy resources is being depleted. In order to solve like this problem, we addressed the roll to roll printing machine for the thin film solar cell by using printing technology. For the this research, we archived concept design and verified propriety.

In this paper, in order to examine the torsional behaviour of twisted yarn closely, the torsional rigidity would be derived in terms of physical and mechanical characteristics of its constituent fibers and yarn structural parameters by energy-method. And the propriety of the theory will be discussed by comparing with experimental results. The torsional rigidity of yarn in both experimental and theoretical results decreases with surface helix angle increases. But the experimental values are more higher than those of the theoretical ones.

In this study new design method with auxiliary slot on salient pole is proposed for the reduction of cogging torque which is the problem of corm type DC Brushless motor. And FEM(Finite element method) is adapted in trial motor which is designed by the method proposed in this paper. and learn the quantative characteristics of cogging torque. Comparing results of analysis with measurement it is porved that the proposed design has a propriety.

In this paper, we develop the reference and the matching priors for the reliability function of two-parameter exponential distribution. We derive the reference priors and the matching prior, and prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution under the general prior including the reference priors and the matching prior. Through the sim-ulation study, we show that the proposed reference priors match the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

This study investigates the hysteresis phenomena of a Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) using coupled FEM and Preisach modeling. Preisach's model, which allows accurate prediction of hysteresis, is adopted in this procedure to provide a nonlinear solution. the computer simulation and experimental result for the i$\lambda$loci show the propriety of the proposed method.
