Smart home with various IoT devices provides convenient and efficient services. However, security is important because sensitive information such as private video and audio can be collected and processed, as well as shared over the Internet. To manage such smart home IoT devices, we use blockchain technology that provides data integrity and secure management. In this paper, we utilize a PoS(Proof of Stake) method that verifies the block through the accumulated stake in the network rather than the computation power, out of the PoW(Proof of Work) block chain, in which the computation for the existing verification must be continuously performed. Among them, we propose a blockchain based system with DPoS(Delegated Proof of Stake) method to actively solve the scalability part, for security that is suitable for smart home IoT environment. We implement the proposed system with DPoS based EOSIO to show realization, and we show performance improvement in terms of transaction processing speed.
This paper proposes a blockchain system to share Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) that recently suffers from mutual interference among increasing devices using unlicensed bands. Blockchain technology can induce cooperation from users by incentivizing them with cryptocurrency like shown in Bitcoin example. In this paper, we describe Blockchain based access mechanism in WLAN instead of conventional authentication based access. Here, users can access any WLAN access point by paying through smart contract while they also receive payment from others. In order to support real-time transaction, we apply proof-of-authority that is realized by Byzantine fault tolerant protocol instead of well-known proof-of-work that requires huge computing power and delay.
This paper contains the following errors. 1. "$I_{\{x>D\}}{\lambda}dt_{p0}(t)s(x)$" should be added to the right hand side of (2.3). 2. "$I_{\{x>D\}}{\lambda}_{p0}(t)s(x)$" should be added to the right hand side of (2.6). 3. "$I_{\{x>D\}}{\lambda}_{p0}s(x)$" should be added to the right hand side of (2.9). 4. In Theorem 2.3 and its proof, "${\lambda}{\int}_{0}^{D}f(y)s(x-y)dy$" appears three times (including one in (2.20)). To each of these, "${\lambda}_{po}s(x)$" should be added. 5. In Remark 2.5, "${\lambda}dt_{p0}/s(x)dx" should be added to "${\int}_{0}^{D}{\lambda}dt\;s(x-y)dxf(y)dy$". As a result of these corrections, a simpler proof of Theorem 2.3 becomes available. Substituting (2.18), (2.21), (2.22) into the left hand side of (2.20) and comparing the result with (2.10), we have the right hand side of (2.20).

Recently, blockchain technology has been recognized as one of the most important issues for the 4th Industrial Revolution which can be represented by Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. Cryptocurrency, named Bitcoin, was the first successful implementation of blockchain, and it triggered the emergence of various cryptocurrencies. In addition, blockchain technology has been applied to various applications such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics as well as public services. Distributed consensus algorithm is an essential component in blockchain, and it enables all nodes belonging to blockchain network to make an agreement, which means all nodes have the same information. For example, Bitcoin uses a consensus algorithm called Proof-of-Work (PoW) that gives possession of block generation based on the computational volume committed by nodes. However, energy consumption for block generation in PoW has drastically increased due to the growth of computational performance to prove the possession of block. Although many other distributed consensus algorithms including Proof-of-Stake are suggested, they have their own advantages and limitations, and new research works should be proposed to overcome these limitations. For doing this, above all things, we need to establish an evaluation method existing distributed consensus algorithms. Based on this motivation, in this work, we suggest and analyze assessment items by classifying them as efficiency and safety perspectives for investigating existing distributed consensus algorithms. Furthermore, we suggest new assessment criteria and their implementation methods, which can be used for a baseline for improving performance of existing distributed consensus algorithms and designing new consensus algorithm in future.

In the present work, we have studied low temperature sintering and microwave dielectric properties of $ZnAl_2O_4$-zinc borosilicate (ZBS, 65ZnO-$25B_2O_3-10SiO_2$) glass composites. The focus of this paper was on the improvement of sinterability, low dielectric constant, and on the theoretical proof regarding of microwave dielectric properties in $ZnAl_2O_4$-ZBS glass composites, respectively. The $ZnAl_2O_4$ with 60 vo1% ZBS glass ensured successful sintering below $900^{\circ}C$. It is considered that the non-reactive liquid phase sintering (NPLS) occurred. In addition, $ZnAl_2O_4$ was observed in the $ZnAl_2O_4$-(x)ZBS composites, indicating that there were no reactions between $ZnAl_2O_4$ and ZBS glass. $ZnB_2O_4\;and\;Zn_2SiO_4$ with the willemite structure as the secondary phase was observed in the all $ZnAl_2O_4$-(x)ZBScomposites. In terms of dielectric properties, the application of the $ZnAl_2O_4$-(x)ZBS composites sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ to LTCC substrate were shown to be appropriate; $ZnAl_2O_4$-60ZBS (${\varepsilon}_r$= 6.7, $Q{\times}f$ value= 13,000 GHz, ${\tau}_f$= -30 ppm/$^{\circ}C$). Also, in this work was possible theoretical proof regarding of microwave dielectric properties in $ZnAl_2O_4$-(x)ZBS composites.
In pressure-retarded osmosis (PRO) and forward osmosis (FO) processes, solvent (permeate) flux depends on which surface the draw solution faces. There are two operation modes. PRO mode indicates that the active layer faces the draw solution, and FO mode means that the porous substrate fronts the draw stream. It is often observed that the PRO mode produces higher flux than that of FO under the same operating conditions. The current work uses the method of proof by contradiction, and mathematically proves the intrinsic flux inequality between the two modes.
The geodesics on the round 2-sphere $S^2$ are all simple closed curves of equal length. In 1903 Otto Zoll introduced other Riemannian surfaces with the same property. After that, his name is attached to the Riemannian manifolds whose geodesics are all simple closed curves of the same length. The question that "whether or not the set of Zoll metrics on 2-sphere $S^2$ is connected?" is still an outstanding open problem in the theory of Zoll manifolds. In the present paper, continuing the work of D. Jane for the case of the Ricci flow, we show that a naive application of some famous geometric flows does not work to answer this problem. In fact, we identify an attribute of Zoll manifolds and prove that along the geometric flows this quantity no longer reflects a Zoll metric. At the end, we will establish an alternative proof of this fact.
Despite the government operating various preventive programs to ward off accidents and diseases on business sites, diseases rates are not decreasing, unlike accident rates. In many cases, diseases caused by work have a latent period before symptoms appear or progress over a longer term, making it difficult for workers to prove the causal relation between their work and the diseases. Moreover, data related to the business site are mostly owned by the employer. Even if the employee has access to parts of such data, his lack of medical expertise limits his ability to identify the characteristics of the diseases and how it appears. In August, 2017 the Supreme Court did an about-face with its ruling on the case involving diseases caused by exposure to harmful substances in work environments, by easing the burden of proof on the employees. As such, this study focuses on the case to analyze cases involving diseases that have occurred in work environments and present their implications. In doing so, the study seeks to provide a basic set of data that can help secure the employees' labor rights and rights to health by complementing the current law in relation to recognizing industrial incidents caused by rare diseases and making work environments safer for employees.
The work is intended to demonstrate that the loss of bond between concrete and flexural steel which led in recent years a number of flat-slab structures to punching collapse under service loading conditions is also relevant to ultimate limit-state design. It is based on a comparative study of the results obtained from numerical experiments on flat slab-column sub-assemblages. The slabs were designed for punching either in compliance with the EC2 code requirements, which do not allow for such loss of bond, or in accordance with the compressive force-path method which considers the loss of bond between concrete and the flexural reinforcement in tension as the primary cause of punching. The numerical experiments are carried out through the use of a nonlinear finite element analysis package for which, although ample published evidence of its validity exists, additional proof of its suitability for the purposes of the present work is presented.
This work presents a novel model for analysis of the loading rate influence onto structure response. The model is based on the principles of nonlinear system dynamics, i.e., consists of a system of nonlinear differential equations. In contrast to classical linearized models, this one comprises mass and loading as integral parts of the model. Application of the Kelvin and the Maxwell material models relates the novel formulation to the existing material formulations. All the analysis is performed on a proprietary computer program based on Wolfram Mathematica. This work can be considered as an extended proof of concept for the application of the nonlinear solid model in material response to dynamic loading.
