This study aims to offer base line data for efficient conflicts control measures by first, analyzing the current situation of the regional comprehensive development project and second, identifying level, type and cause of the conflicts appeared during the development business promotion. For this purpose, theoretical side of this study establishes a basic frame by reviewing the existing researches in order to analyze the characteristics of the conflicts between the participation subjects in the development business, and the empirical side conducts survey and analysis on the awareness on these conflicts. As a result of the analysis, the survey revealed the followings. First, the respondents were aware of the overall promotions of the business quite positively, second, the conflicts were considered as a major obstacle against the development project promotion just as the other negative factors, third, majority of the responses on the seriousness of the conflicts were neutral which meant that the conflicts could be deepened by situations, fourth, most respondents had positive recognition on the needs of conflict control training and its effectiveness, and last but not least, most respondents of the survey revealed their intentions to take parts in trouble shooting from the conflicts. Based on the results above, we were able to extract several elements to consider preparing the countermeasures for the conflicts. First, specific plan should be arranged and institutionalized in order to control the conflicts between the residents at the initial stage of the development business or even before. Second, the specific plan must lower its threshold for easy participation of the residents in that region and make the residents main body of the conflict control. Third, enhanced conflict control education must be provided to the residents of the region where comprehensive development plan is in progress or being prepared.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport carried out a pilot project for data maintenance in 2011 to ensure the accuracy of cadastral records nationwide, and now trying to reduce the errors such as omission of the cadastral book, inconsistency of land category between cadastral account book and cadastral map, etc. and the boundary between the map boundary, scale, and administrative areas. In this study, we looked at the currents status and problems of the cadastral research, improving the cadastral map, which has been promoted by the government and the cadastral office. In order to revitalize the cadastral map data maintenance project, it is necessary to re-establish the plan for each step for challenging the limitation of current data maintenance, and the master plan for promotion system, and develop manuals to maintain consistency and secure accuracy of cadastral map maintenance, such as "Coverage and Maintenance Guidelines for Cadastral Maps", and secure the national budget for error correction in cadastral map led by government.

Since the larger and complex construction projects are performed, project performance measurement is highlighting the importance to eliminate inefficiencies and plan to reasonable management practices. So many researchers are conducting research about the project critical sucess factor. But, these factors are mixed both management practices to improve performance and native project characteristics. Therefore performance measurement data couldn't apply to another project successfully. And the project characteristics affect project performance. But contractor couldn't change characteristics. This study provides a project characteristics's definition and classification. This study provides a quantitative level of performance improvement difficulty through out project manager survey. The contractor can estimate a level of performance difficulty through initial project information. With this, project contractor can more efficiently manage project.

Current collection performance on-line tests for a Korean High Speed Train being developed in G7 project is scheduled to start in June, 2002. In this paper, preparatory efforts for measuring contact forces which is regarded as one of major measuring items in the test are introduced. The interests of the government and civil business owner against the Light rail transit are increasing, it may be caused by the enterprise conception which does not consider a city circumstance that the construction plan is insensitively performed. This article present the forecast method of minimum transportation demand which secures a profitability. This paper is about a case study of an interdisciplinary and intercultural collaborative design project course that has been offered for six years. The distinct characteristics of this course lie in that its students consist of those in two different disciplines, mechanical engineering and industrial design, and also in two different countries, Korea and Germany. The themes of the design project have been selected differently over the years, but always were related to transportation and, particularly, personal mobility devices. The paper first delineates the course and illustrates examples of the outcomes. Then, unique aspects and challenges of the course that have been observed through the six runs and that are associated with the intercultural and interdisciplinary nature are indicated and discussed. The author is convinced that this course has been successful in helping prepare the students for globally-operating manufacturing companies in the future. It is hoped that the findings from this course and the discussions contained in this paper would help those who plan to offer similar courses.

The study is to analyze the contents of Environmental Impact Statement(EIS) and supplementary EIS prepared from 1981 to 1992. The purpose of this study is an overall valuation about propriety study of school facilities BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) by means of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The search point includes these questions. Is BTL of school facilities a reasonable project for school, or is the former government financial project on the position of comparative superiority? And, is a partial BTL possible as an alternative plan? The result of this study shows that preference rate about BTL is 39%, that of former government financial project is 32%, and that of partial BTL is 29%.
