As a way to improve productivity and integrated project delivery in construction industry, BIM(building Information Modeling) using IT technique is being studied and applied recently. S-BIM application Process was established that enable efficient work through Structural BIM detailed Model in consideration of the collaboration among relevant fields. This study has the objective applying S-BIM technique to enable effective Cost Analysis in initial design phase and presenting the method for practical works using Construction Cost Analysis Process based on S-BIM.
Recently buildings are being constructed on the downtown area. In most building construction sites on the downtown area, the need for adequate material inventories are critical in order to avoid project delays and cost increases due to inappropriate deliveries of key materials. However immoderate material inventories cause increasing inventory cost. Therefore, we need a proper management material inventories. This research re-establishes the existing safety stock and analyzes relationship between safety stock and service level. It suggests an economical re-order point based on safety stock considering service level, various demand and delivery time.
1. Introduction Community medicine with the concept of comprehensive medical care and an ideal medical care delivery system not only for an individual or family but for the whole community has emerged. In April 1970, the Presbyterian Medical Center started a hospital based community health service project in order to improve the health of the people in rural areas. Prior to commencing a comprehensive medical care system, a family survey was needed. The major objective of this survey was to obtain information concerning the people and their environment so as to be able to plan and implement a comprehensive medical care program in Soyang-Myun. 2. Survey Method An interview using a family record form was carried out for each household. This family record form was designed to get information about demography, family planning, environmental sanitation and vital statistics. Prior to beginning, the members of the survey team were trained in interviewing techniques for three days. The team consisted of a public health nurse, four nurse-aides, a sanitarian and four health extension workers who are working in our project, The survey was carried out during the period November 1971 to March 1972. 3. Project area 1) Population of Soyang-Myun was 11,668; male, 5,962 and female, 5,706. This study was performed as a part of survey for the operation and interim evaluation of the on-going pilot project of community health in Jeomdong-Myon, Yeoju-Gun, Kyunggi-Province since 1982. Seven Villages (Ri) were selected purposively for the survey from a total of 26 villages in Jeomdong-Myon, target area, under the consideration of the socio-economic background and the distribution of health resources. The target population was the women in age group of 15-44 years in that area and a total of 156 women were interviewed. This study was done by the interview survey using questionnaire which was composed with questions about MCH and FP. The results were as follows; 1) ln the status of maternal health, (1) the proportion of receiving antenatal care was relatively high (67.1%) in this area, but the starting time of antenatal care was delayed to 7 months or more of gestational period in 22 percent. Therefore some intervention would be necessary for advancing the time of antenatal care. (2) The proportion of home delivery was decreased according to the rank of birth-order. And more than 50 percent of delivery attendants were mothers-in-law or neighbors. The fact indicates that the health education for non-professional delivery attendents would be necessary for improving home delivery and the content of education would be preferable to focussing to the method of hygienic delivery attending. (3) The comprehensive health service and education would be recommended for the postnatal care, because of the extremely low rate of postnatal care in this area. 2) In the status of child health, (1) the pro-portion of breast feeding was 90.2 percent, and the weaning started after 12 months of birth in 12.7 percent. This indicates the necessity of education about the weaning program. (2) The proportion of completed basic vaccination was 39.6% and the main reason of missing vaccination was poor accessibility in terms of time. For that, the supply of vaccine to primary health care units (health subcenters) should be continuous, not infrequent nor occassional. 3) The proportion of respondants who were using contraceptive methods currently was 79.8 percent and in 44.7 percent they accepted the permanent contraceptive methods. Those results are distinct in this area. But it seems a serious health problem that 53.2 percent of respondants were experienced the induced abortion for birth control.

As various stakeholders are involved in construction projects, disputes between the parties are more likely to occur, which is a very important issue for the participants in the projects. Claims in construction projects, however, are very complex and thus difficult to manage. In particular, as the cause of a claim in the preceding stage that has not been resolved in a timely manner has an effect on the cause of a claim in the following stage, it is difficult to find a point of compromise regarding a claim caused by the relationship between the causes that occur in the preceding and following stages. In this regard, this study sought to examine the rules for the generation of change order claims, which occur most frequently among the construction claims, and thus to select the key management targets through the analysis of the relationship between the causes of claims arising in the preceding and following stages for the efficient management of claims. It is expected that the use of rules for the generation of change order claims as well as of representative and similar cases will help the construction practitioners in judging claims, considering the relationships among the causes of the claims. Meanwhile, in this study, association analysis was conducted regarding the causes of the occurrence of change order claims in a design-build delivery method, and therefore, it is necessary to verify the effectiveness of the method when applied to other delivery methods.

Becoming construction projects larger and more complicated, and utilizing more varied and complex contracting and delivery systems in the industry, integrating information and managing constructability from project inception to completion became the most critical tasks for the successful project management. However, current industry practices of constructability analysis which are too much dependent on field engineers and managers' experiences, are not performed efficiently and also not managed effectively. Then the scope, method, and procedure in performing analysis tasks are not certain as well as not systematic, In addition, due to using 2D based drawings and documents, information required at project phases for the analysis is inconsistent and inaccurate. This study aims to suggest the use of BIM technology and functions for solving various problems of current constructability practices. In particular, constructability analysis tasks performed at design and construction stages are identified and their adaptability, applicability, and benefits of BIM are investigated through interviews on constructability and BIM professionals in the industry.

In this paper we propose a framework for an Object Relational IFC Server (OR-IFC Server). Enormous amounts of information are generated in each project. Today, many BIM systems are developed by various CAD software vendors. Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) developed by International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI) is an open standard data model for exchanging data between the various BIM tools. The IFC provides a foundation for exchanging and sharing of information directly between software applications and define a shared building project model. The IFC model server is a database management system that can keep track of transactions, modifications, and deletions. It plays a role as an information hub for storing and sharing information between various parties involved in construction projects. Users can communicate with each other via the internet and utilize functions implemented in the model server such as partial data import/export, file merge, version control, etc. IFC model servers using relational database systems have been developed. However, they suffered from slow performance and long transaction time due to a complex mapping process between the IFC structure and a relational-database structure because the IFC model schema is defined in the EXPRESS language which is object-favored language. In order to simplify the mapping process, we developed a set of rules to map the IFC model to an object-relational database (ORDB). Once the database has been configured, only those pieces of information that are required for a specific information-exchange scenario are extracted using the pre-defined information delivery manual (IDM). Therefore, file sizes will be reduced when exchanging data, meaning that files can now be effectively exchanged and shared. In this study, the framework of the IFC server using ORDB and IDM and the method to develop it will be examined.
As the cloud-based ICT(Information & Communication Technology) infrastructure matures, the existing monolithic software development method is evolving into a micro-service structure based on cloud native computing. To develop and operate the services efficiently under the cloud native environment, DevOps-based application development plans through MSA(Micro Service Architecture) design based are essential. A cloud native environment is an approach to developing and running applications that take advantage of cloud computing models such as automation of source distribution, container-based virtualization, application scalability, resource efficiency, and flexible maintenance through object independence. To implement this approach, the utilization of key elements such as DevOps, continuous delivery, micro service, and containers is essential, but there are not enough previous studies on case analyses or application methods of these key elements. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the cases of application development in cloud native environment and propose the optimized application development process and development method through small and medium-sized SI projects.

The buildings are getting enormous and more complex as well as the requirement of the owner which wants diverse and efficient. Moreover advanced management is necessary for construction services and a new method of delivering project is now required. In order to expand the delivering method and the construction industry, we have to introduced the CM at Risk method. However, despite the fact that six years have passed already the CM at Risk regulation was introduced, the contract amount in significantly lower than that of the CM for fee, and also there is no CM at Risk project in the public sector. As a result, three pilot projects are currently underway for the LH(Korea Land & Housing Corporation) in order to set up a CM at Risk for the public sector. However, detailed regulations related to CM at Risk have not yet been implemented in Korea. Therefore, in this study, I am trying to understand the risks that could incur when practitioners participate in the three pilot projects that are currently underway and employed in the public sector wherein the CM at Risk is normally introduced. Based on the results of this study, It will be able to utilize as a basic data for future CM at Risk delivery system improvement and enactment.

The objective of establishing IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) is not the just making into on-1 me system of technical manuals such as specifications. It is to produce construction standard documents in an electronic manual system to turn technical contents such as construction methods in technical manuals into multimedia information. Also, it is to maximize real-time information delivery by using visual data of construction sites. IETM enables to check not only design standards in the design but also applied situation of a construction method based on proper design standards and historical construction data on a real time basis. This study suggests a modeling method of IETM applicable to design and construction phase. The study includes a framework and a scenario for developing design IETM for construction project.
