Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine characteristics of nursing science and identify expected outcomes from baccalaureate graduates, and to develop accreditation standards and criteria reflecting the characteristics of the nursing profession. Methods: A methodological research design was utilized in this study. Related literature reviews and the nursing education program goals and objectives of the 99 nursing schools in Korea were analyzed. A cross-sectional survey research design was utilized to test the validity of the developed characteristics of the nursing profession and their accreditation criteria and standards. The face validity was from the advisory committee and public committee hearing. Results: The characteristics of nursing science were defined with five concepts including humanity, scientific knowledge, professionalism, therapeutic relationship, and facilitating well-being. The expected outcomes from graduates were identified as providing holistic nursing, critical thinking, establishing professionalism and leadership, construction of a therapeutic relationship, and skilled nursing practice. Finally6 standards and 14 criteria reflecting the unique characteristics of the nursing profession were developed for accreditation. These proposed accreditation standards and criteria are a challenge to promote the quality of nursing science.

This study investigated the effect of engineering education accreditation on employment rate at the University of Seoul. The graduates who had been educated in the accredited program showed higher grade point average (GPA) and higher employment rate (89.0%) than the graduates who had been educated in the program without the accreditation (70.9%). The employment rate of all graduates increased with increasing GPA, the mathematics-science-computer (MSC) credit acquired, design credit acquired, and the number of interviews with supervising professors. Theses results showed that the MSC and design subjects and the counselling are at least beneficial in getting a job for students at the University of Seoul. When GPA, design credit acquired, and the number of counselling are the same, graduates with the engineering education accreditation showed much higher employment rate than the graduates without the accreditation. These preliminary results suggest that the engineering education programs with accreditation at the University of Seoul are beneficial for students in getting a gob through motivating them to acquire more credits in design subjects, doing greater number of counselling with supervising professors, and making better academic achievement. In addition, the engineering education accreditation at the University of Seoul helped students developing their personal skills such as team workability, communication skills, and creativity via carrying out design subjects, which may affect the employment rate indirectly.

Purpose: This study was conducted to provide basic data necessary to develop a program to improve infection control by examining nurses' perception of accreditation and by identifying its relationship with awareness and performance of infection control. Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed using questionnaires. Data were collected from 210 nurses who were working at one hospital between May 14 and May 19, 2015. Data were analyzed using SPAW. Results: The mean score for nurses' perception of accreditation was 3.10 points out of 5 points. Score for awareness of infection control was $4.63{\pm}0.39$ points and for performance of infection control, $4.39{\pm}0.39$ points. There were significant positive correlation among perception of accreditation, awareness of infection control, and performance of infection control. In the regression analysis, performance of infection control was influenced by awareness of infection control which accounted for 42.6% of the variance. It also showed additional improvement of 1.4% of the variance by when perception of accreditation was added. Conclusion: The result of this study show that nurses' perception of accreditation is relatively positive and that performance of infection control is highly enhanced according to nurses' positive recognition of accreditation as well as attaching importance to accreditation.

본 연구의 목적은 공학 프로그램의 교육목표에 따라 학생의 학습 성과 성취도를 높일 수 있도록 학생포트폴리오 관리프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다. 학생 포트폴리오 관리 프로그램(SPMP: Student Portfolio Management Program)은 인증요건, 학생들의 학습자료, 학습과제와 그 결과물들을 테이터 베이스 체계를 통하여 관리할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 또한 학생 포트폴리오 관리 프로그램은 공학교육인증에 있어서 요청되는 요건들을 통계적으로 처리하여 종합적으로 제공할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 학생포트폴리오 관리 프로그램을 구성하는 3가지 주요 기능은 첫째, 학생 개인 이력관리 기능으로서 개인정보자료, 교육프로그램에 관련된 자료 등 다양한 입력 자료로 구성되며 둘째, 학생 인증요건 관리 기능으로서 학습 성과, 이수과목 성적 등 인증요건 평가항목으로 구축되며 셋째, 학습과제관리 기능으로서 학습과제 작성, 검색 그리고 과제제출 항목들로 구성된다. 학생 포트폴리오 관리 프로그램을 통한 체계적인 프로젝트 관리는 공학인증이 목표로 하는 사회가 요구하는 능력 향상 및 인재양성에 긍정적인 효과를 가져 올 수 있다. 또한 관리 프로그램에서 제공하는 지속적인 결과물의 기록 및 관리는 대상 학생들이 자신의 포트폴리오를 상시로 필요한 곳에 제출 할 수 있게 도움을 준다.

본 논문은 ALA 인증 문헌정보학교를 분석하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 현재 ALA 인증위원회로부터 인증받은 석사과정 문헌정보학교는 57개교이다. 57개교가 기본 데이터이며, 이 정보원을 이용하여 다각적으로 분석하였다. 즉, 개교 연대, 개교시 학문명칭, 어떤 시기에 학과가 가장 많이 개설되었는지, 학문의 개정명칭, 어떤 학위과정의 프로그램 등이 개설되었는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 여기에서 얻은 결과를 한국의 문헌정보학의 교육의 향상성과 그 방향을 결정하는데 타산지석으로 삼고자 하였다.

This short review was aimed to provide the information for the people who are interested in genetic counselor education and certification system in Korea. A large part of this study is indebted to HJ Kim's articles on the genetic counselor system, the global standards of genetic counseling curriculums, training program accreditation (TPA), and a certification process for genetic counselors (CPGC) in the US and Japan. The US and Japanese educational systems showed a high degree of similarities in curriculum, accreditation, and certification programs. Based upon this review, we hereby propose that the Korean Society for Medical Genetics should take a key role in providing the TPA and CPGC for non-MD genetic counselors. Requirement for the entrance to a Master's degree genetic counseling program should be open to successful four year undergraduate students for all areas, provided the candidates demonstrate the abilities to master the graduate level study in human genetics, statistics, psychology, and other required subjects. Besides accredited program graduates, eligibility for certification should also include the qualified candidates of genetic counseling with no formally approved education, but with a sufficient amount of clinical experience.

This thesis is purposed on developing security product co-evaluation statistics administrate program which is can administrate or analysis CC accreditation product using by DEVS modeling via portal site of member of CCRA. Via developing security product evaluation statistics administrate program, it can analysis the trend of all countries of the world in many ways, and noticed the ways of evaluation and accreditation of most countries via scheme analysis. Except this, it can analysis the situation of accreditation trend of any countries via data analysis of ICCC 2009. Also, For trend analysis to evaluation technique of CCRA member, it analyzed up to date technology and policy of the evaluation organization and the Certification Authority of most countries. And it peformed analysis the most trend of information security of evaluation authorization in CCRA member countries. In this program, It provide the function of trend statistics analysis which can statically analyzed the evaluation accreditation trends of most countries and automatical statistics by categorization ( by Product, Class and statistics in national) and report creation functions which can easily extraction and use the needed data. It has been updated the related informations until latest accredited product using by CC(Common Criteria) portal home page's data.

Graduates from engineering colleges are demanded to have been acquired some abilities and qualities during their undergraduate years through the standard of the so-called "programmed learning results and evaluation" This paper aims at analyzing the learning results evaluation tool for graduates from the architectural engineering department through the examples of the colleges with engineering accreditation in Korea, and suggesting a more appropriate programmed learning result evaluation tool. The basic theories on programmed learning results were studied, and then the previous study examples were researched. The study objects were limited to the fourteen colleges which offered the examples of the learning results evaluation tools of the colleges with engineering accreditation in Korea. Types and the present situation of those evaluation tools were analyzed. In addition, the proposals for the evaluation tool of programmed learning results and the performance standard were suggested for those with an engineering accreditation, based on the case study of the performance standards of each college with an engineering accreditation. The study results showed that much more national research needs to be conducted to clarify the standards of selecting an evaluation tool and a performance standard appropriate for the level of each college so that it can make a proper proposal.

본 논문은 공학인증 프로그램의 성과를 측정하기 위해 인증졸업생, 산업체, 대학관계자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 전체적으로 공학인증 교과목, 졸업생의 조직 내 활동 및 업무수행능력에 대해 긍정적인 평가를 하고 있음을 결과로 제시하였다. 인증졸업생의 월평균 임금수준은 4년제 대졸자 또는 공학전공자보다 높은 것으로 나타나 인증졸업생이 노동시장에서 긍정적인 평가를 받고 있음을 알 수 있는데 이는 대기업에 근무하는 것이 중요한 이유일 것이다. 전문교양, 투철한 직업의식과 윤리의식, 조직문화 적응에 대한 프로그램 지원이 상대적으로 더 필요한 것으로 파악되며 인증졸업생에 대한 취업우대제도와 기사자격 취득 시 필기시험 면제 제도의 도입에 대해 산업체에서 긍정적인 반응을 보이는 것으로 파악되었다.

Purpose : This study was undertaken to provide prerequisites for accreditation of medical genetics training program and certification process for medical genetics professionals as clinical specialist and set up guidelines on curriculum of medical genetics training program in Korea. Methods : Six ad hoc committees for clinical geneticist, clinical cytogeneticist, clinical molecular geneticist, clinical biochemical geneticist, medical genetics technologists and genetic counselors were organized for reviewing current status in Korea as well as foreign countries. Each committee is composed of 6-8 members. They summarized their opinions according to the structured questionnaire inquiring the ways of accrediting training program, qualification of program director, trainee requirements, contents of curriculum, duration of training program, certification process, estimation of numbers of each specialist needed in next 5 years in Korea. Results : Both prerequisites for the accreditation of medical geneticist training institutions and qualification of program director are suggested. Candidacy of trainees requires MD with board of medical specialty, or PhD degree with professional experiences in related field except clinical genetics program which only accepts MD with board of medical specialty, and Non-MD genetic counselor and medical technologists with degrees of BS or MS. General duration of fellowship will be 2-3 years depending on the categories they are enrolled into. Contents of curriculum for each speciality training are described. For the certification of each category, the candidacy should submit a log book detailing the cases they experienced during the fellowship, prove that they successfully completed course work and clinical experiences in the accredited program, and pass the written examination. Conclusion : As medical genetics becomes more important in daily routine clinical practice, the accreditation of medical genetics training program and certification of personnel are urgently needed. In this regard, the study will be providing guidelines and prerequisites for accreditation of medical genetics training program and certification process for medical genetics professionals as clinical specialist.
