대학교수자용 웹기반 수업설계 시스템 (An Implementation of Web-based Instructional Design System for University Instructors)

  • 본 연구는 교수자들이 효율적인 수업활동을 전개하기 위해 수업설계 과정에 쉽고 빠르게 접근할 수 있도록 수업설계 시스템을 개발하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 체제적으로 정교화된 Dick & Carey 수업설계 모형과 매체 활용을 위한 ASSURE모형을 수업설계 시스템 개발에 적용하였다. 이 시스템의 모듈은 과목별 수업설계 모듈, 차시별 수업설계 모듈, 포트폴리오 모듈 등 3단계로 정의하였으며 각각의 단계별 모듈을 활용하여 수업설계에 필요한 요소들을 입력할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 각 단계별 수행 시 정의와 예시 등을 안내하여 교수자의 이해를 돕도록 하였다. 포트폴리오 모듈에서는 수업설계 작업을 모두 데이터베이스화 하여 개별 교수자의 수업설계 결과를 축척할 수 있도록 하였고 지속적인 수업개선자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하였다. 이로서 이제까지 수업활동에 대해 교수자 개인별 경험 및 주관적 판단에 의해 수업설계가 이루어지는 것을 체제적으로 수엽설계를 할 수 있도록 지원하는 웹기반 수업설계 시스템을 구현한 것이다. 개발 후 지속적인 워크숍을 통해 만족도를 조사하였고 실제 수업현장에서 사용한 것에 대한 반응을 조사하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 전공별 특성에 따라 다양하고 세분화된 수업설계 시스템의 요구와 수업설계 시 단계별 선택 방법을 사용자 중심으로 가능하도록 요구하였으며 나만의 공간인 포트폴리오 기능을 더욱 강화해야하는 등의 다양한 의견이 제시되었다.

Development of the Instructional Design Guideline utilizing Goal-based Scenario for Culinary Practice Education

  • Recently, not only development of curriculum associated directly with job, the development of new education model is in great need. So, the purpose of this study is to develop the instructional design guideline utilizing goal-based scenario(GBS) for college students who major in culinary arts. First, to achieve this goal, we recognized the 7 core elements(learning goal, mission, cover story, role activity, scenario operating, resource, feedback) composing GBS through literature review and case study. Second, we drew a conclusion about the problem and guideline for traditional culinary practice course by conducting inspection about culinary practice environment and needs with professors who are teaching culinary arts. Third, we applied the instructional design guideline for culinary practice to regular classes according to GBS's factors, and then we did formative evaluation with content experts and educational technology expert. Finally, we designed the final instructional design guideline for culinary practice by modifying early model reflected the result of formative evaluation. The results of this study are as following. First, when we applied GBS to culinary practice, professors have to focus on process of materialization by developing easy scenario to students. Also, they have to prepare the class circumstance to feel about sense of realism in advance. Second, to give a conjugally new skill at working, professors's effort is important. culinary practice education at college has responsibility to carry out the vocational training that has competitiveness and difference with labor market's needs. Therefore, it is necessary for us to develop the teaching and learning model for culinary practice which is suitable for major based on the manpower demand for industry without causing job mismatch from demand for industry.

기초봉제 학습자의 자기효능감이 수업만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Learners' Self-efficacy on Class Satisfaction in Learning Practical Basic Sewing)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influences of learners' self-efficacy on class satisfaction in learning practical basic sewing. Questionnaires were distributed to 181 college women students living in the areas of Deagu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Province. The data obtained were analyzed by using various statistical tools: frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. The self efficacy of learners of practical basic sewing were made up of five factors: ability to manage interpersonal relationships, ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, challenging spirit, and fear. Class satisfaction was composed of the following factors such as interest in class, professors' ability, achievement of class objectives, connectivity, preparation for class, preference for practices, and perfectibility. This study indicated the correlations between sub-variables of learners' self efficacy and class satisfaction. In other words, the higher were the levels of ability to manage interpersonal relationships, and ability to deal with assigned tasks in self efficacy, the higher were the levels of interest in class, professors' ability, achievement of class objectives, preference for practices, and perfectibility in class satisfaction. The factors of ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, and challenging spirit, in learners' self efficacy were found to have statistically significant effects on the achievement of class objectives. The factor of ability to deal with assigned tasks in self efficacy had a statistically significant influence on professors' ability. The factors of ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, challenging spirit and fear were found to have statistically significant effects on all the factors of class satisfaction.

의학교육에서의 가르치는 것과 배우는 것의 의미 (The Significance of Teaching and Learning in Medical Education)

  • Teaching and learning were carried out long before the word "education" was coined. As teaching and learning became more universal, the word "education" was construed as a social promise, and there was a general consensus as to what it denoted. Many university professors will most likely have great confidence and expertise with respect to "teaching" in their area of specialization, and they believe that they are fulfilling a social promise. However, how much expertise do they have in actually making students "learn"? How concerned are professors about enabling students to utilize their potential and talents to cultivate their learning abilities and to adjust to the different demands of various fields? The same issue arises in medical education. To what extent can professors' teaching heighten students' sense of purpose and motivation to learn? With regard to increasing learners' initiatives, the learning model of constructivism presupposes that learners are active and creative, have their own personalities, and possess unlimited learning potential. The PBL being carried out in medical schools today is a form of study that can take advantage of these aspects of learners. They can maximally widen the range of students' development through many intellectual activities and solve difficult problems by either sharing or critiquing the thoughts and ideas of others. The acts of teaching and learning that have been carried out for thousands of years remain difficult to this day and must be ceaselessly deliberated and researched by experts in the field of education. Just as good teachers are required to produce good learners, we must give ourselves room to rethink the basis of education in order to maximize effective and efficient learning.

An Analysis on the Features and Effect of University Research Organization Support Programs

  • The Korean government's support towards the establishment of leading research hubs at universities began with the initiation of the Science/ Engineering Research Center in 1990. Such efforts to provide support to research organizations have continued for some twenty years in various forms, which implies that building research hubs was critical in acquiring global leadership in research. However, the effect of such research hub nurturing policies has never been properly evaluated, apart from an assessment of their validity. Therefore, this paper analyzes how major programs to form research groups by providing assistance to joint research by researchers at universities are operated, and the characteristics of such programs through comparative analysis with other programs. There are two major focal points in the analysis: the first is the evaluation of the level of differentiation between Research Organization Support Programs (ROP) and other R&D Programs from an efficiency perspective, and the second is an examination of the extent of systematization of research organizations that exist at universities and impact of Research Organization Support Programs on the activities of participating professors from an effectiveness perspective. The result showed that the ROP were no longer only relevant for the formation and maintenance of research groups. Other R&D Programs are growing increasingly larger in scale and conducted over longer periods of time. Thus, the ROP can no longer be differentiated from other programs in research period and size of funding. An analysis on the effect of ROP demonstrated that all activities by participating professors in organizations that were the beneficiaries of group research assistance were more active compared to their counterparts in organizations that received other research support, but there was little difference in the elements of systematization. This implies that the joint research conducted at universities is not systematized and that it is still research based on individual themes but conducted jointly. In addition, it also means that the ROP is failing to effectively lead the systematization of research. In other words, today, university research organizations are not operated as independent, long-term bodies, but are more relevant as a combination of research units of individual professors.

대학 군사학과 훈육 모델에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Disciplinary Model in Div. Military Science)

  • 본 연구는 우수 장교양성을 목적으로 시행중인 군사학과 학생들의 자질과 품성 함양을 위한 훈육교수의 역할과 훈육을 담당하는 교수의 핵심역량을 어떻게 어떤 항목으로 할 것인가와 이를 개발하기 위한 역량 모델을 제시하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 군사학과 교육운영체계의 전반적인 발전방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 기존 훈육의 개념에 대한 선행연구와 이론을 기초로 발전방안을 제시하였다. 여기에 제시된 내용은 사관학교 위주의 선행연구를 기초로 하여 훈육요원에게 필요한 핵심 역량인 교수 평가 생활 지도 학급경영 역량을 일반적 운영절차에 따라 계획 준비 실시 성과분석단계로 구분하여 어떻게 진행하고 조치할 것인가에 대한 모델을 제시했다는데 의의가 있으며 여기서 제시한 연구결과는 일반대학 군사학과의 훈육담당 교수의 역할과 역량을 효율적으로 발휘하기 위한 모델을 제시하기 위해 연구되었다. 훈육에 관련된 모델은 사관학교에서 부분적으로 연구되었으나 본 연구는 민간대학 군사학과 학생들의 훈육을 담당하는 교수들의 역량을 효율적으로 극대화하기 위한 모델을 제시했다는데 그 의의가 있다. 그러나, 여기서 제시한 모델은 최근 군 교육기관에서 연구된 일부 내용들과 일반적인 훈육관련 선행연구들을 기초로 만들어진 모델이기 때문이 이것을 모든 대학이 그대로 적용하기에는 약간의 제한 사항들이 도출될 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구를 출발점으로 하여 민간대학 군사학과 훈육담당 교수들이 이 모델을 기초로 하여 실증적인 검증과 보완이 필요하고 지속적인 분석과 보완이 되어야 할 것이다.

  • This thesis intends to make a study on the effectiveness of Nursing Professors through perceptual psychological approach. Purpose of the Study Researches have been made relating teacher′s effectiveness measurement. However, they share a common defect that they have been done on the basis of superficial aspects of the problems aspects that can bi measured by general objective survey only, but this study is designed "to understand his behavior in terms of a human behaving and of a self as an instrument"-principle, based upon the Perceptual Psychology which puts more stress on the inner perception than on the external one. Method of the Study This thesis is based chiefly on the two sources : "Perceptual Orientation Scale"(Chunghoon Choy, 1971) which has been standardized on the basis of perceptual psychology and the question acres made by the researcher of this thesis and given to the 34 Nursing Professors in seoul and other country. Result of the Study The method of data operation by Pearson "r" asserts that there were distinct deep relation Between Perceptual orientation and fellow′s estimate, while a little relation among the estimate of a-administration, educational backgrounds and occupations but no relations the status of experiences. It can be concluded that the estimates between fellows working at "the same fields" have kept deep relations together on perceptual orientation which resulted from finding out a useful method to measure occupational effectiveness according to the perceptual field. Conclusion of the Study The personnel administration has been managed according to external flatus and not positive operation: on the other hand, this study holds, It shall be operated in accordance with the estimates by fellow, the "Preceptual Orientation Scale" for more positive ability. The study requires the following researches on the devoted professional occupations, such as medical doctors, teachers, nurses, etc. for the purpose of increasing their occupational effectiveness more scientifically.

'공동주택단지 조성을 위한 지구단위계획 수립기준'에 대한 전문가집단 간 인식 차이 분석 (An Analysis of the Difference in Awareness on 'Divisional Planning Guidline of District Units Plans for Creation of Multi-Family Housing' among the Expert Groups)

  • This study aims to understand differences in what specialists groups think important to establish district units plans. The result of the study is as follows. There were differences in thinking by specialists on standards and procedure of establishment, characteristics of the plans. For the standards of establishment, there was a remarkable difference in thinking on the importance. In the search for the importance on the establishment procedure, the groups of architects, construction firms, researchers and professors & instructors thought listening to opinions of residents important and public officials considered review by the City Planning Council important. In the survey on characteristics of district units plans, the most respondents answered 'plans leaded by private sectors focusing on residents' and 'plans to practice for actualization of urban plans'. Public officials and researchers answered that district units plans should be practical plans for actualization of urban plans with strong characteristics of work. The groups of architects, construction firms and professors/instructors mostly thought that private sector leaded plans focusing on residents as characteristics of district units plans. It was understood that construction firms think that the parts related to conditions for construction across overall standards of establishment, procedure of establishment are important. The specialists who think that the plans should be private sector leaded plans focusing on residents on which the residents' opinions are reflected were the groups of architects and professors/instructors.

공과대학 교수의 교육업적평가 지표 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Teaching Evaluation Indicators for Faculty in Engineering College)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the current evaluation methods on faculty performance at Korean engineering colleges and develop teaching evaluation indicators for faculty performance. We investigated the faculty performance cases in engineering colleges inside and outside of the Korea, the engineering faculty's awareness of evaluation factors for their educational performance, and the appropriate ratios by indicating factors. Also we developed evaluation indicators for educational achievements to improve the current faculty performance system. 227 engineering faculty members answered our survey questionnaire. The result in the case study on faculty performance evaluation is as follows. First, most items of faculty performance evaluation are about quantitative indicators that can easily conduct objective evaluation. Second, evaluation items of faculty performance are mostly focused on instruction in a classroom. Third, the evaluation by students and administrative managers is more dominant than that by professors or their colleagues, document evaluation than on site evaluation, general evaluation than formative evaluation, and static evaluation than dynamic evaluation. Lastly, Some universities tend to substitute outstanding articles for underperforming instruction. The evaluation indicators that we have developed can be implemented by four types of subjects, such as students, professors, their colleagues, and deans. Also, based on the evaluation indicators, faculties can freely select their evaluation domains depending on the their tracks, such as a teaching track, a research track, or an industry-university cooperation track. The mandatory evaluation fields include teaching, student counselling, teaching portfolio evaluation by mentors or colleagues, class management evaluation by deans, and self-evaluation. The other areas are optional and professors can choose their evaluation factors.

전문대학 식품영양과의 3년제 학제 개편에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reorganization into the Three-Year Period of Education of the Department of Food and Nutrition in Junior College)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the necessity for the extension of education and the desirable educational period of department of food and nutrition in junior college. Questionnaire was answered by the students, professors, dietitians, and the graduates. The result is summarized as follows: 52.1% of the subjects recognized that 2 year-period of education is too short, and professor group felt significantly shorter than any other groups. Both groups of professors(45.7%) and dietitians(43.5%) had more significantly recognized the necessity for the extended period of education than the groups of students(23.0%) and the graduates(21.5%) As the causes of the necessity for the extended period of education, 48.6% of the subjects answered 2 year-period of education is too short to study and practice on the major, and professor group highly recognized that the students need more time to study and practice for the major than time to prepare for the dietitian's certificates(p<0.001). Both Groups of professors(77.8%) and the graduates(65.1%) had significantly higher answer than groups of dietitians(56.1%) and the students(56.5%) to the question that 3 year-period of education is proper(p<0.001). Therefore the educational system should be reorganized into the three year-period of education as soon as possible for the effectiveness of the education of the dietitians, for the higher acquisition of dietitian's certificate, for the increase of field education, for the development of the student's creativeness and for the various courses after the graduation.
