Objectives: Bloodletting therapeutics is one of the most popular oriental medical treatments in Korea. In this study, we operate the Interview Survey for grasping clinical actual state bloodletting therapeutics in Korea. Methods : Survey questions were developed based on consensus of acupuncture professors. The list of the Korean medical doctors with experiences more than 10 years is provided by the Association of the Korean Oriental Medicine. The interviews were conducted to 39 members of the Korean medical doctors who answered to used bloodletting therapeutics over 30 percentage a day at previous telephone survey. Interview survey with them were conducted by the well-trained interviewers of College of Korean Medicine student from 29th May 2006 to 3rd June 2006. Results : Korean medical doctors prefer to use the bloodletting cupping treatment(89.5%) on the bloodletting therapeutics. Musculo-skeletal disorder was as frequent as 89.5% of treatment disease. The most common treatment area was back(57.9%), extremity(l5.8%), pain area(l0.5%). The most common instrument for treating was disposable lancet(57.9%), three-edged needle(26.3%). Most Korean medical doctors(60.5%) took up the position that bring symptom relief following good treatment area. 'Recover quickly from illness'(50%) was one of bloodletting good points but 'Sever pain'(34.2%) was a weak points. Conclusion : This survey provides unique insight into the perception of the Korean medical doctors at bloodletting therapeutics. Most doctors experienced symptom relief, received positive benefits from the treatment. Future research needs to provide more in-depth insight into doctor views of the experience.
Purpose: The problem of housing poverty among young people is a very important problem for the nation. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to identify the problems of the government's housing support policy for young people. And it is in presenting specific solutions by fully reflecting the opinions of experts. Research design, data and methodology: This study consisted of analyzing the following three research topics: 1) the differences of youth residential support housing policy impact on young adults' housing stability, 2) the problems and solutions of youth housing support policy, and 3) the differences of experts' opinions on the impact of government policy on youth housing stability. The subject of this study is the government's seven housing policies for young people. The targets include Happy Public Rental Housing (Happiness Housing), Station Area Rental Housing for youth (Station Area 2030), Public Dormitory for College Students (Public Dormitory & Hope Dormitory), Jeonse Rental Housing for College Students (Subject Lease Rental Housing for College Students), Social Housing for Young People, and Share House. The data was organized through expert surveys from 1st to 30th June 2020. The experts surveyed include professors & researchers, public officer & public institutions staff, and private developers of young adults' housing. The methodology of analysis on the problem and the solution of government policy was Frequency analysis. And analysis methods on differences of experts' opinion were ANOVA, Levene' test, and Schefe test. Results: Problems in Government's youth residential support housing policy include high rents, lack of supply, difficulty in acquiring rental housing, inconvenience in using shared spaces, conflicts with cohabitants, and invasion of privacy. Solutions include expanding supply to urban areas, establishing long-term plans, securing privacy, diversifying business methods, establishing platforms for rental housing transactions, and expanding various public support (financial support, etc). Conclusions: There was a difference in perception among groups of experts on the impact of public rental housing (called 'happiness housing') in youth housing stability. It is very urgent to come up with the most reasonable policy to support youth housing. This requires in-depth discussions by experts to narrow their differences.

Background: There exist some different perceptions on clinical pharmacy between Korean and western societies. Since the pharmacists who received the 6-year pharmacy education join the pharmacy profession soon, it appears imperative to know whether the western-style clinical pharmacy is adaptable to Korean-style pharmacy education and profession. Methods: The authors surveyed 54 professors in the membership directory of the Korean College of Clinical Pharmacy (KCCP) on their perceptions on clinical pharmacy and clinical pharmacists, and their willingness for adapting clinical pharmaceutical care (CPC) and clinical pharmaceutical sciences (CPS) into clinical pharmacy education. The survey consists of 47 questions including dichotomized and Likert scale questionnaires in the areas of respondent demographics, clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacists, CPC and CPS. Results: Of the 54 KCCP members surveyed, 29 completed the questionnaires in full and one in part. It appears that most KCCP members acknowledge the existence and importance of the two major fields of clinical pharmacy, CPC and CPS. Twenty-eight (96.6%) and seventeen members (68.0%) agreed to introduce CPC and CPS into the clinical pharmacy education in Korea, respectively. Seventeen (63.0%) answered CPC would be successfully adapted in Korea. Twenty (74.1%) agreed that it is desirable for clinical pharmacists to perform CPC and CPS simultaneously. Conclusion: Based on this survey, the authors suggest that pharmacy schools provide their students with the education opportunities on CPC to nurture clinical pharmacists through a master's program and CPS to foster clinical pharmaceutical scientists through a Ph.D. program.
study identified secondary school chemistry major teachers' perceptions of sublimation related to the drying phenomenon of frozen wash and representation of the phenomenon on phase diagram. The subjects were 53 teachers for the questionnaire developed for this study, and interviews. The two professors who majored physical chemistry and one professor who majored analytical chemistry at teacher's college were interviewed for teacher educators' perceptions of sublimation. The results showed that forty one teachers among fifty three teachers thought that the drying phenomenon was sublimation. The most teachers who thought that the phenomenon was sublimation responded as a reason that solid state changes to gas state. The teachers who thought that the phenomenon was not sublimation responded as a reason that the 1 atm of air pressure was not the condition of sublimation. Seventeen teachers thought that the drying phenomenon of frozen wash could be represented on phase diagram, but thirty four teachers thought that it could not. But most teachers confused the scientific representation of the phenomenon, and felt difficulties to teach the contents to students.
The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data to propose further directions of education on rehabilitation nursing by investigating the adequacy of the educational contents of rehabilitation nursing. This study was a descriptive survey study. The data collected at 25 universities and 24 junior colleges through questionnaires to answer the research questions from August 10 to September 30, 2000. The questionnaire was consisted of 24 items. The contents of rehabilitation nursing education were developed by consulting with the rehabilitation nursing professionals. The results are as follows Rehabilitation nursing was taught as an independent class in 15 universities and 9 junior colleges. Most professors majoring in adult nursing (66.8%) were in charge of teaching the courses. For the adequacy of the teaching contents of rehabilitation nursing, conceptual bases for rehabilitation was the highest score (4.0), and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, activities of daily living, clients of rehabilitation, nursing process in rehabilitation nursing, functional evaluation, movement and mobility, physical therapy, occupational therapy, sensation and perception, communication/language, eating and swallowing, bladder elimination, community based rehabilitation nursing, sleep, rest &, fatigue, bowel elimination, historical perspectives of rehabilitation nursing, sexuality, pulmonary rehabilitation, pain, cardiac rehabilitation, skin integrity, family care was ordered.

In this study, we operate the Telephone Survey for grasping clinical actual state moxibustion therapeutics in Korea. Methods : Survey questions were developed based on consensus of acupuncture professors. The list of the Korean medical doctors with experiences more than 10 years is provided by the Association of the Korean Oriental Medicine. A stratified random sample of Korean medical doctors is drawn for the telephone interviews. We choose a bound on the error of estimation equal to 6.5 percentage, and the sample size is 260 for the national sample. Telephone interviews with them were conducted by the well-trained interviewers of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine in Medical researcher from 26th March 2007 to 6th April 2007. Results : Ninty -four percents of Korean oriental medical doctors were male and most commonly, clinical experience of doctors were 20-29 years(47.3%). Sixty-seven percent of Korean oriental medical doctors used moxibustion therapeutics. The most common treatment disease was Musculo-skeletal disorder(38.3%), Digestive disorder(28.6%), Gynecology(14.1%). Indirect moxibustion were as frequent as 65.5% of moxibustion method. The most common reason of unused respondents was 'Lots of smell and smoke'(28.3%), 'The wound left a scar'(20.8%), 'Less effects'(20%), etc. Eighty-three percents Korean oriental medical doctors were against that moxibustion therapy used without doctor's examination Conclusions : This survey provides unique insight into the perception of the Korea medical doctor at moxibustion therapeutics. Future research need to provide more in-depth insight into doctor views of the experience.
The purpose of this study was to analyze task performance and importance level of the dietitian who is working in the public health nutrition area. Work oriented job analysis methodology was employed for the study purpose. Subjects of 38 dietitians currently working at health centers in 2002 were recruited. Based on the focus group interview with 7 public health nutritionists and 7 professors, information about task elements was collected. Questionnaires measuring work performance and self-perception of importance of the selected task elements were administered. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) The tasks with high performance and importance level among 20 tasks are developing nutrition education material (B1), nutrition services for adults and the elderly (C3), writing the proposal for nutrition services (A2), evaluating service effect (A4), improving professionalism (E1), and self management (E2). 2) The task elements with high performance and importance level among weekly task elements are nutrition education for diabetes (C56), nutrition counseling for adults (C47), nutrition for hypertension (C53), managing and keeping records (C80), nutrition education for kindergarten and nursery school children (C42), searching for nutrition education materials (B26), and searching for media (B27). 3) The number of task elements with high performance and importance level among monthly task elements are 13 in the planning and evaluation of public health nutrition service, and 5 in developing nutrition education materials. The tasks of a dietitian in the public health center show a very wide spectrum. However dietitians recognize most of the tasks are important even though they cannot perform those tasks adequately.
The purpose of this study is to examine about various barriers recognized by university faculty members while implementing PBL. By adopting the inductive content analysis, this study has analyzed the contents related with the barriers about PBL implementing in the teaching reflection reports submitted by 32 professors of B university. After the analysis, the barriers have been summarized into 5 major topics such as 'teaching beliefs,' 'classroom culture,' 'learning facilitation,' 'assessment,' 'school environment.' Results suggest: First, a study on the specific solutions for the barriers summarized by 5 major topics should be launched. Second, a teaching competency development program to resolve the barriers should be supported. Third, an innovation of physical school environment and school policy appropriate for PBL implementing should be involved. Fourth, a study on the barriers about PBL implementing should be further expanded.
In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution when ICT and convergence are emphasized, companies want talented people with a wide range of complex problem solving competencies, system competencies as well as major knowledge. This study examined the difference in perceived competency needed for future accounting officers using 166 valid questionaries prepared with 4 factors based on previous researches. The result shows that the workers, who majored in accounting and have more than 5 years of company experience, and the CEOs think the social competence is the most important while the accounting professors think the major competence is the most important qualification. These results indicate that, in order to reflect the industrial needs, the colleges should change their accounting major curriculums to provide various competences such as the social competence in addition to the basic major competence.
The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze what has changed in Seoul National University (SNU) since its incorporation, focusing on the perceptions and experiences of its internal members. To this end, semi-structured interviews were conducted with members of SNU, professors, staff, and students. The interview results were presented by categorizing them into changes in the overall evaluation of the incorporation, positive and negative changes, education, research, social contribution, and operating system. Overall, with regard to the changes after incorporation, the members of SNU showed a common perception that it was difficult to feel the change or that there was little change. As for positive changes, they mentioned the expansion of university finances, increased autonomy in operation, and improved responsiveness to environmental changes. As for negative changes, they mentioned the ambiguity of SNU's legal status, and the excessive increase of direct and aggressive influence from outside. In the last part, the main findings were summarized and their meaning and implications were discussed.
