디지털시대 물류 전문인력 양성방안 (An Education and Training Strategies for Logistics Professionals in the Digital Age)

  • 한국 물류산업은 양적인 측면에서 물류전문인력의 부족과 질적인 측면에서 산업계 요구에 부응한 실무 전문가를 양성해야 하는 이중고에 처해 있다. 본 연구는 국내와 해외 물류인력 양성교육을 상호 비교해 보고 디지털 시대에 필요한 물류인력의 역량과 기술들을 제시함으로써 국내 물류인력 양성정책에 대한 시사점을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 국내 대학의 물류교육과정 전수조사를 통해 물류인력의 수급상황을 검토하였고, 해외의 성공적인 물류분야 교육훈련 프로그램에 대한 사례분석을 시도하였으며, 심도있는 문헌연구를 통해 물류인력에 요구되는 기술과 역량을 종합적으로 제시하였다. 향후 효과적인 물류인력 양성을 위해서는 첫째, 국가표준물류역량지도의 작성과 이를 토대로 국가물류 역량개발 통합플랫폼 구축, 둘째, 물류인력양성을 위한 산학교육훈련 생태계 조성, 셋째, 디지털전환과 COVID-19 팬데믹에 대응한 신규 물류인력을 육성을 위한 교육프로그램 등이 필요하다.

Career Management and Employees Retention in Professional Service Organizations: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • The purpose of this study is to see how career management affects employee retention in professional service businesses (PSOs). The role of knowledge and skills as moderating variables in the relationship between career management and intention to stay is also investigated. A review of the literature on career management, which includes promotion, training, mentorship, starting salary, and the laxity-stringency of organizational entry-exit rules, leads to the hypothesis that career management positively affects employees' intentions to stay. Such a positive impact may differ between knowledgeable and skilled employees and their less knowledgeable and skilled counterparts. Cross-sectional data is obtained from 200 professionals working for various PSOs. Stepwise regression is employed to analyze the data. The research found that career management positively affects the intention to stay. The impact of promotion, training and mentorship on the intention to stay is moderated by knowledge and skills. Conversely, knowledge and skills do not moderate the effect of starting salary and the laxity-stringency of organizational entry-exit on intention to stay. The study's findings imply that by implementing effective career management, talented professionals can be retained. However, the level of knowledge and skills should be carefully considered. These findings offer significant insights into human capital management, particularly in PSOs.

표준화 환자를 활용한 간호학생의 당뇨식이교육 수행능력과 자기효능, 의사소통, 학습만족도 및 간호전문직관의 상관관계 (The Relationship among Clinical Competence on Diabetic Diet Education Using Standardized Patients, Self-efficacy, Communication, Learning Satisfaction, and Professional Values of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship among clinical competence of diabetic diet education on standardized patients, self-efficacy, communication skill, learning satisfaction, and professional values of nursing students. Methods: The present study was a descriptive research. The participants were 144 junior nursing students in a university. The clinical competence on diabetic diet education was assessed by trained evaluators when nursing students performed diabetic diet education using the standardized patients. The students' self-efficacy, communication skill, professional values, and learning satisfaction were measured by themselves using the questionnaires. Results: The clinical competence on diabetic diet education showed positive correlations with communication skill and learning satisfaction, while the competence was not correlated to self-efficacy and professional values. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that clinical competence on diabetic diet education may be more related to communication skills and learning satisfaction than self-efficacy and professional values. Promoting communication skills and learning satisfaction using a standardized patient may increase nursing students' competence on diabetic diet education.

  • At a time when mathematics is becoming more important in our everyday lives and more relevant in applications in industry and the emerging technologies, there are signs of a decrease in numbers of students and their interest in the subject. Teachers must be encouraged to take a new approach to generating enthusiasm amongst students by showing them that mathematics is an integral part of the future. To achieve this, opportunities for renewal of teachers' knowledge and updating of skills should be made available. In this paper, emphasis is placed on mathematics in the real world and how it can be used to develop the more general skills such as self-teaching and communication which are an essential part of preparation for entry into higher education or the workplace.

수산·해운계 고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력 요소 개발 (A Development of the Elements on Occupational Basic Competencies of Fisheries and Maritime High School Students)

  • The aims of this study are to analysis the elements associated with a occupational basic competencies of fisheries and maritime high school students. Fisheries & maritime key competencies were defined as the abilities that include the essential knowledge, skills, attitude, and experiences required for the workforce on the fisheries and maritime job condition. This research collected preliminary data from 177 fisheries & maritime high school teachers. Data were analyzed to obtain item quality, reliability and validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; First, largely, fisheris & maritime key competencies were divided into two parts; basic vocational skills and fisheries-maritime job skills. Second, fisheries & maritime key competencies were consisted of communicative competence, numeracy skills, thinking skills, English communication skills, self-management skills, interpersonal competency, selection & application of alternative, marine technology & information skills, marine consciousness and maritime professional ethics. Third, each key competency consisted of 2-9 sub-competencies.

Impact of Coping and Communication Skills Program on Physician Burnout, Quality of Life, and Emotional Flooding

  • Background: Physician behaviors that undermine a culture of safety have gained increasing attention as health-care organizations strive to create a culture of safety and reduce medical errors. We developed, implemented, and assessed a course to teach physicians skills regarding effective coping and interpersonal communication skills and present our results regarding outcomes. Methods: We examined a professional development program specifically designed to address unprofessional or distressed behaviors of physicians, and we evaluated the impact on burnout, quality of life, and emotional flooding scores of the physicians. Assessments of burnout, quality of life, and emotional flooding were assessed preintervention and postintervention. Results: Results demonstrated statistically significant reductions over time in physicians' emotional flooding and emotional exhaustion (EE). Specifically, using a Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test, results revealed that flooding scores at follow-up were statistically significantly lower than at baseline, V = 590, p < 0.05, and EE and personal accomplishment distributions were found to significantly deviate from normal as indicated by Shapiroe-Wilks tests (p < 0.05). A Wilcoxon signed-rank test indicated that EE scores were significantly higher at baseline compared to follow-up 1, V = 285, p < 0.05. Conclusion: We conclude that the physician participants who enrolled in the educational skills training program improved scores on emotional flooding and EE and that this may be indicative of improved skills related to their experiences and learning in the program. These improved skills in physicians may have a positive impact on the overall culture of safety in the health system setting.

임상 신규간호사의 상급 초보자에서 적임자로 되어가는 경험 (A Study on Experience of Transition from New Clinical Nurse to Competent Step)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to describe nurses' experience in transition from new graduate nurses to professional clinical nursees in a hospital. Methods: Ten new clinical nurses working in a hospital participated in this study. Data collected through in-depth interviews were analyzed using phenomenology. Results: The analysis yielded five core category themes from new nurses for becoming a professional nurse: (a) beginning of hardship journey (b) feeling of inability in workplace (c) struggling hard to develop skills (d) enduring hardships by soothing oneself and peer support (e) beginning of an exciting journey. Conclusion: Over time, new nurses face many difficulties in transition to a professional status. To enhance the role development of new clinical nurses in hospital settings, nursing schools and clinical fields must teach and prepare them. Nursing schools should teach a strong theoretical base as well as nursing skills. In addition, in the clinical nursing department, education, teaching the integrated systems, staff development, support, evaluation, and feedback are needed for new nurses's development.

광주광역시 치과위생사의 NCS 기반 직업기초능력 우선순위 분석 (Priority analysis of NCS based vocational core competency of dental hygienists in Gwangju)

  • Objectives: This study aims to investigate and analyzed the priority of vocational core competency factors in dental hygienists in Gwangju. Methods: Expert survey was conducted and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was applied to evaluate the weighting factors. First, we established the vocational core competency defined in NCS as AHP analysis model. The vocational core competency has 10 categories and 34 sub-categories. Secondly, AHP survey was conducted by 195 dental hygienists in Gwangju. Finally, the weights representing relative importance of each factor were calculated by using AHP method. Results: The AHP analysis on 10 categories showed that the weighting of interpersonal skills(0.165) was higher than any other categories while that of numeracy(0.035) was at the bottom, and the analysis on sub-categories revealed that the most important factors in each categories included the teamwork skills(interpersonal skills), problem-solving capability(problem-solving skills), listening skills(communication skills), ethical community(professional ethics), ability to understand business(ability to understand organizational structure), applicable technical skills(technical skills), self-management skills(self-development capability), information processing capabilities(information capacity), ability to manage time(resource management capabilities) and basic math skills(numeracy). Conclusions: The results in this study can be used as basic data for the development of liberal arts curriculum for dental hygiene education.

조리교육과정에 요구되는 직업기초능력과 역량에 관한 연구 (A Study on Basic Vocational Competencies and Capabilities required for Culinary Arts Curriculum)

  • Vocational education has been constantly blamed for training skills that are not suitable for the field. This study was sought for finding out the necessary skills for the hotel entry-level cooks by conducting in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and case studies in terms of NCS's basic competencies and competencies required at work environment. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the field, job performance ability is more important than skills and knowledge. Second, among the NCS's basic competencies, communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-development skills, information skills, and professional ethics are prioritized competencies for hotel-entry level cooks. Third, in terms of competency factors at work, it is necessary to learn the adaptability of the field. Fourth, in case of overseas culinary institutes, the core of their culinary education was the system to learn how to operate the site rather than the education about cooking skills or knowledge. Fifth, in holistic approach, the result showed that four elements which are skills, knowledge, field practice, and simulation training are required for Culinary Arts curriculum.
