To experiment the effects between cadmium inhalation toxicity and extracts of Folium Mori, rat inhalation exposure groups were exposed to cadmium aerosol in air by whole-body inhalation exposure for 6 hours/day, 5 days/week, and 4 weeks. Cadmium concentration in the air of cadmium aerosol was 1.02㎎/㎥ and mass median diameter(MMD) was 1.40μm. Intraperitoneal injection of extracts of Folium Mori to inhalation exposure groups was done for 4 weeks and the results were as follows: The highest body weight gain for 4 weeks and food intake per day were 126.39g/4 weeks and 19.18g/day from inhalation exposure group III, respectively. The highest lung and liver weight were 1.27g and 8.19g from inhalation exposure group II, respectively. The highest kidney weight was 1.805g from inhalation exposure control. The lowest cadmium content in lung was 86.39μg/g from inhalation exposure group III. The lowest cadmium concentration in blood was 7.12㎍/㎗ from inhalation exposure group III. Cadmium concentrations of 40.02㎍/g in liver and 69.18㎍/g in kidney were the lowest from inhalation exposure group I and III, respectively. For weekly cadmium concentration in urine, the value of the fourth week from inhalation exposure group III was the highest, 3.12㎍/㎖. For weekly cadmium concentration in feces, the value of the fourth week from inhalation exposure group III was the highest, 2.67 ㎍/g. The highest metallothionein concentration in lung was 74.65㎍/g from inhalation exposure group III and the highest metallothionein concentration in liver was 386.84㎍/g from inhalation exposure group II. The highest metallothionein concentration in kidney was 236.17 ㎍/g from inhalation exposure group II.
The purpose of this study os to investigative the effect of Carrageenan-Induced Pain on lower limb muscle and ligament of rat. To evaluate pain mechanism in muscle and ligament, pain was induced by the injection of 2% $0.1m{\ell}$ carrageenan into the left lower limb muscle of rats after rats were anesthesized with 3% enflurane. Rats were killed on 72 hours after pain induction under the anesthesia. anterior rectus femoris muscle and its ligament were removed from rat hind limb. Morphological changes of them were peformed by the observation of light and electron microscopes. In the light microscopic findings, the muscle cells were polyheadral and situated with each other without small gap in control group. nucleus of cell was seen along the cell margin, and muscle cell groups were divided by regular narrow gap in cross section. In the pain-induced group, muscle cell groups were divided each other by the irregular gap, and some of groups formed larger than other cell groups by the fusion. Intercellular gap of most cell groups were increased compared with control groups. And also, perimysium of muscle cell groups was swollen in cross section. In control group, muscle cells contacted each other closely and each cell was divided by perimysium. The intracellular gaps were not seen between myofibrills, and also striations were well defined between muscle cells in longitudinal section. In pain-induced group, muscle cells were divided by the small intracellular gaps. And also, muscle cell showed many a short cross or longitudinal intercellular gaps in longitudinal section. In light microscopic findings of control group, tendon was composed with many tendon fibers contacted each other closely without gap. The free margin of tendon was fused, and apso the tendon fibers did not invaded between muscles. In pain-induced group, tendon was divided small groups by intertendinous gap, and also the margin of tendon divided by small groups. In the free margin, tendon invaded into muscle cells, and also fibroblasts between tendon fibers were long and lance-shaped. From these results, it is suggested that pain induction by carrageenan injured rat skeletal muscle and ligament by the morphological changes.

Objective : Glutathione S-transferase polymorphism (GST) were examined in 120 cases with ischemic cerebrovascular disease (ICVD) to test the hyperthesis that GST polymorphisms confer a risk to an individual to develop ICVD. Tobacco smoking is a major cause of both cancer and vascular disease. Methods : therefore We were stratified the subjects with ICVD for smoking status, and then examined whether polymorphisms in this detoxification enzyme gene, GST, influence risk of ICVD Results : Neither GSTM1 nor GSTT1 genotypes in the ICVD group was significantly different from the control group (n=207), even in smokers. We attempted the combined analyses for GSTM1 and GSTT1 genotypes in ICVD for smoking status. No significant association observed between the combined genotypes and ICVD Conclusion : Our observation do not confirm the effect of the GSTM1 and GSTT1 genotypes as a risk factor for ICVD, even in smokers.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of an oral health promotion program. And suggest that education on oral health should be given by a professional. Methods : Sixty-four people over the age of 65 years were selected from three elderly care facility located in Gyeongsangbuk-do, A city. From June 7 to August 19, 2016, an oral health promotion program was given to two experimental groups (N=21 and 20) for a total of eight times. One program was conducted by a professional and the other by a non-professional although both were considered experts. Additionally, a control group(N=23) was a observed. Results : While both experimental groups showed a positive change from the oral health promotion program, the experimental group that was given the oral health promotion program by a professional showed more positive changes in oral cavity function. Conclusions : By using professionals, it is possible to provide a health promotion program that actively monitors the oral cavity of the elderly as well as provide elderly care services for oral hygiene. Appropriate elderly health policies and oral health business model for elderly are needed.

The score of professional autonomy of a married nurse was higher than an unmarried(P=.003). The score of professional autonomy by the period of nursing career was highest 9 years or more, the lowest was for 3-6 years(P=.009), Also, the higher the educational level(P=.000) and the state of position(P=.049), the higher the score of professional autonomy. But there were no statistically significant difference in regard to the religion and the field of work. 5. The relationship between general characteristics and the perception of professional autonomy by doctors showed no statistically significant difference.
The first national QC Circle Convention sponsored by Industry Advancement Administration in 1975 was the beginning of employees group activity from a national point of view. Subsequently some events such as the firs Nationwide Factory Seamaul activity small Group Convention, which was supervised by the ministry of Trading and Industry and Factory Seamaulundong promotion Center, paved the way for proliferation of the group activity through all kinds of manufacturing. Although since November 1982 these two conventions has been united, many problems have been disclosed that are against the basic principles more or less. Worker's group activity is, essentially, a trouble shooting oriented voluntary small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. In practice, however, many groups are so typical and so impetuous of the material effect that it is worried to be inclined to outform rather than contents. To prevent this point it is recommended that worker's group activity be promoted continuously and on the basis of the original principle of small group activity to obtain practical and rich results, and systematically to be more effective and active considering the managerial environment and the intellectual level of the consisting members.
