Competency for practicing gastroenterology in the United States requires accredited training in Internal Medicine, followed by accredited training in gastroenterology and hepatology. The structured training encompasses a 3-year period after graduation with a medical degree for internal medicine, followed by a 3-year period for gastroenterology and hepatology. Within the gastroenterology training period, competency in oncology knowledge and procedural approaches to luminal and solid gastrointestinal organ cancers is required, whereas knowledge competency but not procedural competency is required in areas of advanced endoscopic procedures for cancer care. Only general knowledge, but not competency, is required for areas such as chemotherapy, which can be obtained with further optional training in a structured 2-year oncology fellowship program. Although there is no standardization to date for including full oncology training within a gastroenterology training program in the United States, there is great interest from gastroenterology professional societies to include a pathway for trainees within the gastroenterology training program.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of neuromuscular re-education program and general intervention program. It is focused on difference between changes of experimental before and after on 20 stroke patient's motor control ability. The obtained results are as follows; In change in motor control ability, neuromuscular re-education program group about the motor control ability was a significant difference(p<.01). And traditional intervention program group, the motor control ability was a significant difference in all of items (p<.01; p<.05) but, were not a significant difference in bladder management, social interaction, problem solving and memory. And also comparison of change in motor control ability between the experimental group and control group, the between-subjects factors were a significant difference. Most of the functional items on the functional items on the functional measurement and neuromuscular function measurement are concerned with the physical autonomy of the hemiplegic patients. More in depth knowledge may be acquired about the distribution of physical and motor control patterns with respect to the degree of neurologic deficit for the enhencement of residual motor control function in hemiplegia. In conclusion, the neuromuscular re-education program was more effect then traditional intervention program in motor control ability.
Nurses experience role conflict between nursing theory that they learned in school and clinical nursing practice. This conflict lead to lower self-image, self-esteem, job dissatisfaction. Also, the professionalism of nurses is estimatable by the grade of autonomy. The professional autonomy requires individual and professional obligation about her decision and performance. A lack of professional autonomy results in the Job dissatisfaction. Job dissatisfaction leads to absenteeism, increased proneness to mental and physical illness and higher turnover rates. The purpose of this study was to investigate professional autonomy and self-concept of clinical nurses. Data were collected from 262 clinical nurses in P city from June 1 to June 30, 1996. The instruments used for this study were made by Arthur(1990) and Schutzenhofer(1983). The data were analyzed for frequency and percetage, mean, SD, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, stepwise mutiple regression, using SAS $PC^+$ Program. The findings were as it follows : 1. The mean of professional autonomy and self-concept were $152{\pm}18.48,\;70.65{\pm}8.20$(2.62), respectively. These showed mid level of professional autonomy and self-concept. 2. Professional autonomy of clinical nurses was found to vary significantly according to total years of clinical experience(F=4.49 p<0.01), position(F=3.49 p<0.05), and state under study for the degree(F=3.83 p<0.05). Professional self-concept was found to vary significantly according to age(F=3.52 p<0.05), marital status(F=7.39 p<0.001), total years of clinical experience(F=3.59 p<0.05), position(F= 5.22 p<0.01), the expectant period being on the duty as clinical nurse(F=8.34 p<0.001), and motivation of choosing nursing(F=5.17 p<0.001). 3. The statistical relationship between clinical nurses' professional autonomy and self-concept was found as positive correlation(r=0.42246 p<0.001). 4. Professional autonomy was the highest factor predicting professional self-concept(17.85%). Professional autonomy and marital status accounted for 20.60% in professional self-concept of clinical nurses. In conclusion, Professional autonomy and self-concept of clinical nurses showed significantly positive relationship. Therefore, nursing education needs to develop programs and policies to increase professional autonomy and self-concept of clinical nurses.
To know the differences between health concern, health behavior, and subjective health cognition in urban and rural area, author used the correlation analysis between variables and wanted to provide basic data for public health service to support appropriate health care, health maintenance, and health promotion in community. Data collection were done in JeonBuk area from September 10 to October 10, 2001, and subjects were above 20 years old adult. 350 and 250 subjects were from urban and rural area by random sampling, respectively. Questionnaire were completed by interview with direct or self-recording type. Research tool was questionnaire with health concern, health behavior, and subjective health cognition, and data collected were analyzed into descriptives, crosstabs, T-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient by SPSS 10.0 program. The results were as follows: 1. Health concern was 9.0% for upper group, 39.1% for middle group, 51.9% for lower group in urban area, and 10.1% for upper group, 41.0% for middle group, 48.8% for lower group in rural area. Health concern for middle and lower group was totally high percentage, and rural area had higher health concern than urban area. 2. Health behavior in both urban and rural area was statistically significant(p<0.01). Women who had higher age and with spouse had high degree of health behavior, and urban area had totally high score for health behavior compared to rural area. 3. Subjective health cognition was 71.0% for health, 29.0% for non-health in urban area, and 61.3% for health, 38.7% for non-health in rural area. Percentage of health group was higher in urban area than in rural area. 4. Degree of health behavior by health concern was statistically significant only in rural area. That is to say, the higher health concern had the higher degree of health behavior in rural area. Subjective health cognition by health behavior was totally significant correlation with health behavior in urban and rural area(p〈0.05). That is to say, the higher health behavior in urban and rural area had the higher subjective health cognition. 5. For correlations between 3 variables, there was significant correlation between health behavior and subjective health cognition in urban area (p<0.01). There were correlations between health concern and health behavior, health behavior and subjective health cognition(p<0.05). Considering above results, the higher health behavior had the higher subjective health cognition in urban area. The higher health concern had the higher behavior, and the higher health behavior had the higher subjective health cognition in rural area.
본 연구는 포스트 코로나 시대의 간호대학생이 지각하는 자기주도학습능력, 감성지능, 그릿 및 간호전문직관의 정도를 확인하고, 간호전문직관의 영향요인을 파악하여 긍정적인 간호전문직관을 확립하는데 도움이 되고자 실시하였다. G광역시에 소재한 간호학과 학생 218명을 대상으로, 2021년 2월 22일부터 3월 28일까지 자가 보고식 설문조사로 시행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전공만족도, 감성지능, 그릿이 높을수록 간호전문직관이 긍정적이었으며, 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 감성지능과 전공만족도로 설명력은 61.7%이었다. 본 연구결과를 기반으로 간호대학생의 감성지능과 전공만족도를 높이기 위한 교과활동 및 비교과 활동의 전략이 요구되며, 이러한 활동 전략이 간호대학생의 긍정적인 간호전문직관 확립을 위해 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
Purpose : The objective of this research is to explore the correlation between personality and degree of job-satisfaction among nursing profession in order to provide effective guide for HR management and nursing care. Method : The research has been conducted on hundred sixty four nurses working in C university hospital in Seoul, from February 23 to March 7 of 2002, through survey. For the experimental tools, I have used Young-Hwan Kim's MMPI(1988) personality test and Slavitt's job-satisfaction test(1978) which were improved by Eun-Seuk Lee(1988). The acquired data are analyzed through SPSS program using descriptive statistical method, t-test, One way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation coefficient analysis. Results : Most survey score were within normal range of personality measurement and Masculinity-Femininity scored high compare with the rest. Overall job-satisfaction score showed fairly high level of 3.01; in the order of high score, 3.43 for reciprocal action, 3.41 for job requirement, 3.20 for autonomy, 3.15 for professional status, 2.96 for doctor-nurse relationship, 2.54 for administration and 2.38 for compensation. Analysis based of social demographics showed that the degree of paranoia depends on the age, marriage, nursing experience, education, professional status and salary. Also, marriage had significant influence on the score of hysteria, psychopathic deviation, paranoia, psychasthenia, schizophrenia and masculinity-femininity. Test score showed that, based on the general characteristic of nursing profession, job-satisfaction depends on the age and professional status. The relationship between personality and job-satisfaction showed that depression score and social introversion score have statistically significant negative correlation with job-satisfaction. Conclusion : this research revealed that depression and social introversion are characteristics identified to have significant influence over job-satisfaction of nurses, among many characteristics.
This study is purposed to compose systematic and efficient curricula of the courses centered on the duties of forest interpreter. In the first step, the purpose of task analysis is to identify the forest interpreter's duties and tasks. 13 professional were designated as panel, and the task chart was completed via DACUM analysis. The tasks performed by forest interpreter are categorized in the development of specialty, program planning, comprehension on the engaged forest, program development, program execution and program evaluation, which are classified into 59 sub-tasks. In the second step, need analysis is focused on the evaluation of the degree of job importance, the necessity of education based on the results from the task analysis. In consequence, 23 key tasks are determined. In the third step, knowledge, skill, tool, and attitude required for key tasks were analyzed and reorganized into 23 subjects. This study has significance in 3 respects. Firstly, the tasks of forest interpreter are analyzed to define their roles. Secondly, the curricula composed according to the results of task analysis and need analysis allow the realizable and prerequisite subjects within the restricted resources. Finally, this study suggests the curriculum, which shall be the bases for the program planning and operation of a lot of educational organization and institutions.
The purpose of this study is to inquire the people's views on nursing for nurses, correct the image of nurse and take it as basis to be applied on nursing education examining the image of nursing on Television drama playing important role of mass media. 22 nurses of the characters in drama is applied to the analysis object of this study by selecting 6 dramas of Television ones the nurse play on the prime time from June 1 to August 31 in 1997. Contents analysis method was used in Data Analysis, 4 items was used after Coders previously modify and compensate it based on research documents of 1m Milim(1996) 2 Coders made the Coding the article on each person by them seeing the recorded film making the Coding Paper each items is written by the character. The average of reliability degree was 90% which measured the reliability degree by the mathod of Holsti. The statisic method of frequency, percentage was used SPSS Program in data processing The results were as follows. 1. Relative importance of 86.2% nurses in drama was depicted as extra characters 2. The affair attitude of nurses shown on drama was revealed as mechanical(84.7%), passive(45.5%), dependent(54.4%) unkind(68.2%). 3. The purpose of this study were to define the degree of performance in health promoting lifestyle and to identify the variable related to performance in health promoting lifestyle of adolescents. The subjects of this study were 469 adolescents in the 4 high schools. The sample data were collected using a purposive sampling method from July 1 to July 27. The collected data were analysed by using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS PC+ program. The results of this research were as follows. First, The means of performance in the health promoting lifestyle of adolescents revealed total 2.478 ; harmonious relationships 3.045, regular diet 2.236, professional health management 1.332, sanitary life 2.910, self regulation 2.558, emotional support 2.696, healthy diet 2.408, rest and sleep 2.651, exercise and activity 2.491, self actualization 2.466, diet control 2.408. The factor with the highest degree of performance was the harmonious relationships, whereas the one with the lowest degrees was the professional health management. Second, the relationship between the degree of performance in health promoting lifestyle and its related variable were as follows. (1) Performance in the health promoting lifestyle was significantly correlated with self esteem, self efficacy, health conception, perceived health status, mother's health promoting lifestyle, mother's health conception. (2) The most important factor that affects performance in the health promoting lifestyle of adolescents was self esteem. The combination of self esteem, health conception, mother's health promoting lifestyle, self efficacy, perceived health status accounted for 45.2% of the variance in health promoting lifestyle of adolescents.
This study was conducted to compare the level of RN-BSN students' job satisfaction and professional self-concept (PSCNI) prior to RN-BSN course and upon graduation The study was designed to investigate the degree of job satisfaction and PSCNI, and to test the correlation between job satisfaction and professional self-concept. The subjects were 68 students in Chunchon, who entered to H University (RN-BSN course) in March 1997. The data was gathered by self-reported questionnaire job satisfaction(48 items) and professional self-concept nurses instrument (PSCNI: 27 items) The instruments used for this study were the nurse Job satisfaction scale developed by Stamps et al., and Arthur's PSCNI. The reliability of two questionnaires were relatively high (Job satisfaction Cronbach's $\alpha$=0.88, 0.89, PSCNI Cronbach's $\alpha$=0.80, 0.96) The data was analyzed frequency, mean, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Pearson's corelation, and multiple regression analysis through SAS program. Research findings were as follows : 1. The average item score of job satisfaction was 119.50(prior to RN-BSN course) 124.16 (upon graduation). PSCNI' average item score was 75.37/77.21 at each. 2. The job satisfaction scores were significantly higher at the graduation than at the entrance(t=2,10, P=.040). But PSCNI's scores had no significant difference. 3. The relationship between job satisfaction and PSCNI of entering time was high R=.60, P=.000) The relationship of the two at graduation time was not high(R=.29, P=.018). 4. The factors contributing to the job satisfaction & PSCNI as follow: job satisfaction(prior to RB-BSN course), PSCNI(prior to RB-BSN course), The factors contributing to the job satisfaction & PSCNI were as follow: PSCNI(prior to RN-BSN course) In conclusion, we recognized that RN-BSN course influenced job satisfaction of students. Also this study Eave a information for necessity to develop curricula promoting PSCNI. Nurse-educator should explore further research to enlighten the nursing profession.
