  • The enterprise environment, various interface systems are utilized for business processes and for exchange of messages. In the interface communication environment, as business complexity increases, the interface system is connected with numerous systems. With increasing number of linked systems, there is a proportional increase in the workforce, leading to a rise in numerous risks (inconsistency of information, non-compliance with standards, etc.). To solve the problem, we propose a system for managing and centralizing information of the message based interface system. The proposed system enables information integration management, message information distribution, standard code generation, risk management and risk evasion. Using the proposed system, the in development environment user can prevent inconsistent information, analyze risk, avoid risk, distribute information automatically and create a standard code. Ultimately, there is an increase in user productivity and it is possible to evade the risks involved.

  • The productivity and cost of clear cutting operations were examined to broaden our knowledge on the harvesting system in a Larix leptolepis stand of Korea. The harvesting system was divided into tree operations which were chainsaw (STIHL MS440) felling, tower yarder (Koller301-4) yarding and harvester (WOODY H50) processing. The average cycle time of felling, yarding and processing were 98 s/cycle, 245 s/cycle and 150 s/cycle. The total stump-to-pile operational productivity was 43.07 $m^3/hr$. The highest production activity was the felling 17.93 $m^3/hr$, followed by the productivity of processing 15.62 $m^3/hr$ and then by the productivity of yarding 9.52 $m^3/hr$. In addition the total stump-to-pile operational cost was 24,086 $won/m^3$. The highest cost activity was the yarding 14,557 $won/m^3$ (60.4% of the total cost), followed by the costs of processing 8,461 $won/m^3$ (35.2%) and then by the costs of felling 1,068 $won/m^3$.

  • This study analyzed the effect of small manufacturing firms' systematic documentation on productivity. The study results showed that establishment of work system documentation significanlty affectd defect decrease(p<.05) and production efficiency(p<.01), but ducumentation experience didn't significantly affected productivity improvement. So, it is suggested that firms should establish documentated work system and conduct education & training rather than depending on experiential aspect to improve productivity. This study provided implications for checking importance of documentation factor on productivity improvement and verifying the effect of documentation in quality management aspect.

  • The productivity is the one of the primary elements to evaluate the new systems performance for building construction along with the economic efficiency, the safety, and the quality improvement. At present the on-site construction automation systems(we will call it as Construction Factory or CF hereafter) is under the development by research group for construction automation of high-rise building. The system includes many sub-systems such as a robotic crane, a construction factory, bolting robots, a building material management system using RFID and so on. In this study we discuss and propose the method to evaluate for these hybrid on-site automation system fundamentally. In future we devise a framework of evaluation modules for the on-site building automation system on the basis of this discuss.

  • The paper proposes a non-parametric methodology, data envelopment analysis, for measuring efficiency and productivity in service delivery systems with capacity constraints. The methodology provides allocation approaches for studying behaviors of firm and customers in service delivery strategy. The experimental study is carried out to investigate allocation behaviors and conduct an objective tradeoff between efficiency approach and productivity approach. The experimental result indicates that the efficiency approach allocates resource via maximizing customer efficiency rather than firm productivity as in the productivity approach. Moreover, the experiment reveals that there exists an objective tradeoff between the efficiency approach and the productivity approach. These findings provide strategic options for allocation policy in service delivery systems.

  • This study provides the method how to improve the productivity of a project using CM's constitutive methods. Construction industry in Korea was protected by the government and they have been grown with only their construction technology until today. It results Korean Construction is behind the advanced countries in terms of Engineering fields and construction management skills. This study compares the difference between the construction system of Korea and Europe and Asia. And then, it proposes the method how to compete with the other countries. which introduce the CM technique into the construction project in the beginning stage. Hopefully, this study is recognised as the basic strategy to improve the capability of Korean construction management.

  • There is much dangerous machine in worksite. These make the rate of accidents increase. Specially, among them, dryness equipment work has the highest rate of accidents. Therefore, it has been managed by safety-health law. It is very important to make a special study of work using the dangerous machine. In press work, it is also important to develop safety system program to improve productivity and work safely In this reaserch. the safety mangement system is built for the work improvement of the Press. I will try new development method about dangerous machine.

  • We can take 'Profit security', in the field Process improvement activity and man-power upgrade in the learning of organization activity or upgrading ability of each peoples. After Tayler System(Scientific Management in1911) and Ford System(Conveyor system in 1913), Toyota System(Ohno's TPS; Toyota Production System around 1980) which was developed by Toyota in Japan in the third productive revolution. This thesis study on the focus of 2 successful examples(P and S companies in Seong-Seo industrial complex Tae-Gu city) which introduce Toyota system can apply to VM(Visual Management), 3jeong(Right Products Right Quantity, Right Box and Right Position)5S(Seiri, Seiton, Seisoh Seiketsu, Sitsuke), JIT(Just In Time), KAIZEN(Improvement), KANBAN System(Logistic) and output of Factory. For examples P company obtained a lot of results(productivity increase 19%, Quality up 46%-36ppm, storage decrease 25% per year), S company obtained a lot of results(productivity increase 20%, Quality up 40%, storage decrease 33% per year, 2600 improvements in 2002. In conclusion Korean KANBAN system (modified Toyota System) is similar to exchange of work as Korean traditional system in agriculture as like dure 'PUMASHI' SANGBU-SANJO) that's autonomous management systems. In conclusion Korea KANBAN system needs apply to not only all the manufacturing industry but also the various fields of industry.

  • There use many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources. MRP, GT and JIT are popular among these systems. There use many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources. MRP, GT and JIT are popular among these systems. In this study, we had designed mixed production system which integrated searching and grouping function of GT, purchasing function of JIT and based on MRP and developed related algorithms and applied systems. The developed system was based on appling renewed algorithms for existing MRP system. To test efficiency operated real-data but we have tested renewed algorithms using sample-data because of massive real-data.
