초등학생의 미래 IT역량 강화를 위한 융합적 산출물 기반 소프트웨어 교육용 콘텐츠 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Educational Contents for Software Education based on the Integrative Production for Increasing the IT Competence of Elementary Students)

  • 컴퓨팅 사고 능력은 미래 사회 인재가 가져야 할 핵심 역량이다. 컴퓨팅 사고는 컴퓨팅의 관점에서 문제를 규정하고 그 문제의 해결방법을 탐색해 효율적인 해결절차를 강구하기 위해 추상화 단계를 거치고 추상적 개념의 자동화 수행을 위해 여러 가지 개념, 원리, 방법들을 이용하여 알고리즘화 하여 문제 해결의 가장 적합한 과정과 자원을 선택하고 조합하는 과정으로 초등학교 단계에서 적절한 교육용 콘텐츠의 적용이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 융합적 산출물 기반의 소프트웨어 교육용 콘텐츠를 개발하고 적용함으로써 학습자의 창의적 인성 향상에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 연구 결과 융합적 산출물 기반의 소프트웨어 교육 콘텐츠를 이용한 교육이 학습자의 창의적 인성 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것을 확인하였고 초등 컴퓨팅 교육에 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

동피복 복합선재 제조를 위한 연속주조공정의 최적화 (The Optimization of Continuous Casting Process for Production of Copper Clad Steel Wire)

  • The copper clad steel wire is used extensively as lead wires of electronic components such as capacitors, diodes and glass sealing lamp because the wire combines the strength and low thermal expansion characteristic of Fe-Ni steel with the conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper. In order to fabricate the copper clad steel wire, several processes including electro-plating, tubecladding extrusion process and dip forming process have been introduced and applied. The electroplating process for the production of copper clad steel wire shows poor productivity and induces environmental load generation such as electroplating solution. The dip forming process is suitable to mass production of copper clad steel such as trolley wire. and need expensive manufacturing facilities. The present paper describes the improvement of the conventional continuous casting process to fabricate copper clad steel wire, which its core metal is low thermal expansion Fe-Ni alloy and its sheath material is copper. In particular, the formation of intermetallic compound at interface between core and sheath was investigated in order to introduce optimum continuous casting process parameter for fabrication of copper clad steel wire with higher electrical conductivity. The mechanical strength of copper clad steel wire was also investigated through wiredrawing process with of 95% in total reduction ratio.

판넬블록 생산관리를 위한 시뮬레이션 기반 조선생산실행시스템 개발 (Development of simulation-based ship production execution system(SPEXS) for a panel block assembly shop)

  • 조선소에서 판넬블록 생산공정은 가장 많은 물량을 처리해야 하는 중요하고 복잡한 공정이 고, 모든 선박 및 해양구조물의 하부는 반드시 판넬블록 생산 공정을 거쳐야 하기 때문에 판넬블록 생산공정은 병목공정으로 평가된다. 공정의 생산성을 극대화하기 위해 본 논문에서는 디지털 선박생산에서 가장 중요한 기술 중의 하나인 시뮬레이션과 최적화기법을 활용하여 조선생산실행시스템(SPEXS)을 개발하였고, 판넬블록조립장 적용사례로 SPEXSPanel을 구축하여 향상된 일정계획을 수립하는 효과를 보였다. 더불어 SPEXS-Panel은 지속적인 개선을 통해 야드 생산성 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Experiences of Implementing TPM in Swedish Industries

  • The global marketplace is highly competitive and organisations, who want to survive long-term, have to continuously improve, change and adapt in response to market demands. These improvements should focus on cost cutting, increasing productivity levels and quality and guaranteeing deliveries in order to satisfy customers. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is one method, which can be used to achieve these goals. TPM is a change management approach that involves employees from both production and maintenance departments. The purpose is to eliminate major production losses by introducing a program of continuous and systematic improvements to production equipment. TPM should be developed and expanded to embrace the whole organisation and all employees should be involved in the process as members of improvement teams. This paper gives a short description of the development of TPM and the TPM implementation process. Findings are reported from a case study in which one of the authors had the possibility of following and guiding a company through their TPM implementation. The implementation process takes several years and the research has focused on the initial three years. The study demonstrates that driving forces, obstacles and difficulties often are dependent on the organisation, its managers and the individual employees.

Design and Fabrication of Test Equipment for mass production of Automatic Test Equipment(ATE)

  • In this paper, we proposed the test equipment that can perform separate performance tests to mass-produce the Automatic Test Equipment. Until now, the performance test of the ATE has been performed after it has been assembled perfectly. It is possible to perform the performance test only when the external device manufacturing and setting of measurement resources and the internal wiring work have been completed. So we have been studying test equipment that separately tested the switching devices that played a key role in the performance of the ATE. To build the test equipment, we reviewed the circuit card assemblies that make up the switching devices. We designed a test equipment that satisfies the performance test and apply the completed test equipment to the actual production process to analyze whether it was effective in improving the time and workability of the performance test. The test equipment has the advantage that it can be used universally in the mass production process of ATE with the same type of switching device.

  • 국내 공동주택의 건축공사에서 주로 사용되고 있는 철근콘크리트 벽식구조에서 거푸집공사는 공기에 큰 영향을 미치는 공사이다. 건설선진국에 비해 긴 공정사이클을 갖고 있는 국내 골조공사의 실정을 감안한다면 거푸집공사에 대한 개선이 시급하다 볼 수 있다. 이에 대해 골조공사의 공기단축 및 원가절감을 위한 노력이 마감공사와 연계하여 이루어진다면 더욱 효과적일 것이므로, 공정개선의 노력은 골조공사와 마감공사의 연계를 통한 공종의 통합 및 낭비의 제거를 통해 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 국내 건설현장의 사례조사를 통해 거푸집공사와 마감공사의 프로세스에서의 공정개선을 슬래브 골조공사를 중심으로 프로세스에 존재하는 비 가치창출작업을 파악하고 가치흐름분석을 통해 세분화되어 있는 공종을 통합하여 시간, 비용의 절감의 효과를 분석하였다. 또한 슬래브공사의 흐름생산을 유도하기 위한 공정개선 방안을 통하여 공기단축과 원가절감의 효과를 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study analyzed the overview of corrugated cardboasrd manufacturing industry and then provide direction for improvement. The BREF (BAT reference document) is an important reference for licensees and officer, including the best available techniques for the industry and achievable environmental performance, technical characteristics, and economic information. In the corrugated cardboard manufacturing process, wastewater pollutants are generated throughout the production process, and water is used in the dissociation and aging process. Atmospheric emissions are mostly generated by steam production from boilers and incinerators for the dry process. SO2, NOx, CO2, CO, HCl, dust, VOC, and odor were common. In the EU-BREF (European union BAT reference documents) BAT for wastewater have taken up a relatively large proportion. Items of water pollutants in wastewater were common in COD, BOD, N, P, SS, and however EU-BREF had different pollutants such as AOX and salt compared to K-BREF. In order to improve the quality of the K-BREF, it is necessary to devise basic data research method and data acqusitiom method. Consideration should be given to additional environmental management techniques that reflect the emissions characteristics of the corrugated cardboard manufacturing process. In addition, further research is needed to develop methodologies for selecting BATs considering environmental and economic feasibility.

조선소 생산계획 업무 프로세스 분석을 통한 디지털 선박생산 시뮬레이션 적용 전략 수립 (Strategy Planning of Digital Shipbuilding Simulation byWorkflow Analysis of Production Planning in a Shipyard)

  • 디지털 선박 생산기술은 조선소에서 필연적으로 발생하는 재계획 및 재작업에 따른 비용과 시간을 절감할 수 있는 기술이다 이 기술을 효율적으로 적용하기 위해서는 적용 가능한 . 분야에 대한 전략수립이 반드시 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 조선소 생산계획 업무 프로세스를 분석하여 디지털 선박생산 기술을 적용하기 위한 전략을 수립하는 것을 목표로 한다. BPR방법론을 기반으로 현행 생산계획 업무프로세스를 분석하고, 워크플로우를 모델링하여 병목프로세스를 도출한다. 도출된 병목프로세스를 심도있게 분석하여 핵심개선기회 다이어그램을 작성하고, 프로세스시뮬레이션을 수행하여 적용시나리오 생성뿐만 아니라 기대효과도 산출한다. 디지털 선박생산기술의 적용전략은 조선소에서 양질의 제품에 필요한 건조 비용 및 시간을 줄일 수 있는 밑그림을 제공할 것으로 사료된다.

해조류를 이용한 후코이단의 생산 (Production of Fucoidan Using Marine Algae)

  • Fucoidans, polysaccharides that are composed of fucose, uronic acids, galactose and xylose, are one of the main constituents of brown seaweeds. For the past decade algal fucoidans have been extensively studied due to their biological activities including anticoagulant, antiinflammatory, antitumor, contraceptive and antiviral activities. Even though fucoidan is known as a highly functionality derivative, its industrial applications have been limited because of low inclusion efficiency and high cost of manufacturing. Furthermore the sea-weed smell of fucoidan has been a limiting factor for the application especially in food and cosmetic area. The potential application of various extraction technology and deodorization of sea-weed smell is highly required for a wider application of fucoidan. As an alternative extraction process, enzymatic hydrolysis process or ultra-high pressure treatment has been investigated for the improvement of production yield and bioefficacy of fucoidan. More intensive research on the fucoidan production technology and its application in nutraceutical and cosmoceutical area is needed.

A Mathematical Model for Converting Conveyor Assembly Line to Cellular Manufacturing

  • This paper proposes a mathematical model for converting conveyor assembly line to cellular manufacturing in complex production environments. Complex production environments refer to the situations with multi-products, variant demand, different batch sizes and the worker abilities varying with work stations and products respectively. The model proposed in this paper aims to determine (1) how many cells should be formatted; (2) how many workers should be assigned in each cell; (3) and how many workers should be rested in shortened conveyor line when a conveyor assembly line should be converted, in order to optimize system performances which are defined as the total throughput time and total labor power. We refer the model to a new production system. Such model can be used as an evaluation tool in the cases of (i) when a company wants to change its production system (usually a belt conveyor line) to a new one (including cell manufacturing); (ii) when a company wants to evaluate the performance of its converted system. Simulation experiments based on the data collected from the previous documents are used to estimate the marginal impact that each factor change has had on the estimated performance improvement resulting from the conversion.
